A/N: The Sports Festival Continues. Deku meets Shinsou while Mikoto also meets some new people that might have a purpose for being there.

Chiyo: Honestly, you're so reckless!

Deku: I'm sorry...

Izuku was the infirmary being scowled by Recovery Girl for breaking his fingers...again...

Chiyo: What good could come from injuring your fingers...this is the fifth time this week you had done this! How do you expect to be a hero when all you ever do is hurt yourself?!

Deku: I'm sorry...I won't do it again...I promise...

Chiyo grew more irritated when he said that but kept herself calm.

Chiyo: Please...don't make promises you can't keep...

Deku: Okay....

She then kisses his fingers and only in a few seconds, they healed. Before she could scowl Izuku more, the door opens revealing Shinsou rubbing the back of his head.

Chiyo: What do you need, dearie?

Shinsou: Do you have anything for headaches...

Chiyo: I could give you some pain medicine for that. Hold on.

Recovery Girl steps out for a minute leaving the two boys in a awkward silence.

Deku: H-Hi....

Shinsou:....Hey...

Deku: I remember you... You're that boy that declared war on our classmates.

Shinsou: I see...and you're that guy that always breaking his arms...

Deku looked down and didn't say anything.

Shinsou just sighs and sat down next to him in the other bed rubbing his head.

The nightmare quirk from Souta had left him some hard headaches.

Deku: A-Are you okay?

Shinsou: Fine...

Deku: Okay....

Shinsou:....Midoriya was it?

Deku: Yes...?

Shinsou: So you're in Class 1-A, I presume.

Deku: Y-Yes...Guilty as charged...

Shinsou: What's it like being in there...ya know...the chance to be a hero.

Deku thought for a moment to put the right words together.

Deku: Well...When I first got here...I didn't think I was going to make it.

Shinsou looked at him in confusion.

Shinsou: What do you mean by that? Isn't your quirk a strong stockpile type or something. With that, you should be able to get into Class 1-A.

Deku: But...that just the thing...It wasn't originally mine...It was given to me...

Shinsou: Eh...?

Deku:....I was quirkless....Well used to be...So I guess you can call me a late bloomer.

Shinsou:.....

Deku: All my life I been told I couldn't be a hero...

Shinsou: (Just...like me...)

Some people were just born lucky... with unfathomable power and abilities. While others...were born unlucky. Shinsou had never realized that Midoriya had to work hard for his power. Just like Shinsou had to work harder to earn his place in the hero course.

Though... it's sad how they're being treated poorly due to their quirk or lack of.

Deku: But...No matter what they did...I never gave up...I wanted to prove that I could do it...So I given this chance...So this quirk was given to me by my mentor. So...I want to show everyone that I'm here!

Shinsou: I see....(So I guess not everyone in Class 1-A is a total dick like that Bakugo character...I really had them all wrong.)

Deku: BTW...Shinsou-kun...Your quirk...I never got to know what it was...

Shinsou didn't like where this conversation is going...

Deku: S-Sorry....I tend to doze off when I do that. I just really want to know much about you and your quirk...

Shinsou: Well...I don't know... Don't you find it...Creepy? Villainous?

Deku: Not really...A quirk is just a quirk... Doesn't matter if it's flashy or dangerous...If you put to good use. You could make a good hero, Shinsou-kun...

Shinsou:......(Why do I feel...touched by these words....Someone actually believes I could do it...)

Deku:*Stammers* A-Ah...I'm sorry! Did I say something weird?!

Shinsou:....No...you're really strange Midoriya...but...thank you.

Deku: *Smiles Brightly* You're welcome....So umm...Does that make us friends...?

Shinsou:....I have no intention of making friends...

Deku: *Hurt* O-Oh...Ya know... Todoroki said the exact same thing.

Shinsou:...Maybe I'll think about it...

The smile on Deku's face returned.

Deku: Okay! (I really hope we become friends!)

Shinsou: Midoriya...Maybe I failed this time, but... I'm not giving up. I'll show them I've got what it takes to make the hero course, and I'll become a greater hero than all of you.

Deku: *Nods*....Right!

Suddenly, Deku froze as he found himself being mind-control by Shinsou.

Shinsou snickered lighty.

Shinsou: You are just too easy to take advantage of.

Shinsou breaks him out of the control.

Deku pouted.

Deku: You didn't have to do that you know.

Shinsou: Just testing you. It would be bad if you fallout now. You're going to the finals. I'll be watching. And next time...if we ever face each other again. You better watch your back.

Recovery Girl shows up and gives Shinsou the pain medicine. Before the boy can take his leave. Izuku called out to him.

Deku: Shinsou! Umm...If you ever get into heroics. I hope you'll become part of Class 1-A...Uhh...that way...We can see each other more often.

Shinsou's back was turn on Midoriya...but the purple hair boy was smiling as he exited the room quietly.

One of them had pink hair with a cat face that was purely white and purple eyes. The other had pale skin with matching long hime-cut black hair and eyes.

Mikoto: Umm...Hello?

Cat Girl: Kyaa! It's him!

Other Girl: Yes Kitty-chan...I can see that.

Mikoto: Umm...Who are you two?

Kitty: My name is Kitty Nekomatsu and this is my friend, Koun Koinoka.

Mikoto: Ah. Nice to meet you. My name is-!

Koun: *Blunt* We already know. Mikoto Yukimura. Son of the Yuki-Onna. Class 1-C. We're GED students. We just came to congratulate you on making it this far.

Kitty: Yes! Thanks to your performance! You helped a lot of us GED kids.

Mikoto:....I did?

Kitty: You are aware of  the attention that Class 1-A gets right?

Mikoto: Yeah...?

Koun: Yep...Thanks to you. You just proved that anyone could do it and not just Class 1-A. Your inspiration had helped a bunch of us realized we have a chance to become heroes. The attention of Class 1-A will now possibly fifty percent chance be shifted over to other classes...including us.

Mikoto: (Wow...I umm...Didn't realize that...)

Kitty: You're really cool Yukimura-kun! Consider this as thanks!

Kitty hugged him before taking off with her friend.

Mikoto just smiled watching them go.

Mikoto:*Smiles* I guess when push comes to shove, you can actually do good things to inspire people without even realizing it.

In the back of his head, Mikoto had a feeling that someday...he'll meeting those girls again very soon...

Deku: Miichan?

Mikoto: Hey Izuku.

Deku: Hey! I-It's been a while since we talked..

Mikoto: Yeah...I know you're about to go and face Shouto...But I needed to talk to you for a minute...

Izuku remained quiet as Mikoto told him everything.

Deku:....Ah..I see..? So you and Todoroki-kun...are cousins?

Mikoto: I know...It kind of shock me too...

Deku: How are you feeling about all this...

Mikoto: I...I just don't know...I shock, bewildered, befallen, hurt, guilty, and to top it all...angry...

Deku: Angry...how?

Mikoto: Angry at myself...Angry at Endeavor...And angry at Shouto for not knowing that he's hurting himself...

Deku: He is?!

Mikoto: Remember the time limit with All Might.

Izuku nodded.

Mikoto: Well think of it as a different situation with Shouto. He's hurting himself Izuku. He's over the limit with his ice power. He's used too much of it and it's making him sick...At this rate...He could end up getting worse...As much as I hate to say this...but he needs to use his fire power....

Deku nodded...It was the only way but...

Deku: But that's just the thing Miichan. He won't use it. No matter what anyone say. He thinks it's his father's power.

Mikoto:....Well his about this...We need to find a way to convince him that it's not.

Deku: You're right...

Mikoto: He need to know that it's his power. Not Endeavor. He shouldn't be scared of it. I mean...I know this is what Endeavor wants...but for Shouto's health...

Mikoto looks at Izuku and cups his hands.

Deku: Miichan...?

Izuku looked up to his face and-Oh God! Was Miichan...crying?!

Mikoto: Izuku...I never felt so powerless before in my life...Because I was never able to help shouto. But maybe you can...Please...help me save my cousin...Help me save Shouto from that man and from himself...Please Izuku!

Izuku felt the hands quivering. He never seen this side of Mikoto before.

He had to help...both Shouto and Mikoto.

He had to be their hero this time.

The green hair boy stayed quiet before nodding feeling determined once again.

Deku: You got it Miichan! I will save Todoroki-kun!

Mikoto sighs in relief. He felt really bad for putting most of the weight on Izuku. But he trusts him. He whipped the tears from his eyes and gave a big grin.

Mikoto: Then the rest is up to you...Good luck Izuku. I'm be cheering for you and everyone else in the sidelines.

Mikoto gave him a fist bump.

Deku: Yeah!

Izuku returned it.
