Choice Of Senpai...
A/N: Class 1-C choosing which senpai they're gonna be interning with at the Hero Work Studies.
After Hound Dog's "Motivational" Speech, Class 1-C went back to their classroom to discuss what will happen next for the Hero Studies Program.
Sylvia: Hey Mikoto.
Mikoto: Yeah?
Sylvia: Do you know who you're interning with?
Mikoto: I....really have no idea...I mean...I thought about interning with Mom but there's other heroes out there I like to try out. So I just don't know.
Sylvia: What about Midoriya-kun? Do you know who he and his Senpai from 3-A are interning with?
Mikoto: Ah yeah! Izuku told me he and Mirio-Senpai are gonna be interning with Nighteye.
???: Oh. I heard of him.
Riku popped up out of nowhere in front of them startling the two. They begin to wonder how long he was standing there.
Mikoto: Riku-kun! Where you come from?
Riku: Gomenasai. I overheard your conversation and I decided to bring myself into this.
Sylvia: So you're spying on us?
Riku: No. I do not do such accusations. Anyway...about Nighteye. He's a Pro-Hero and also a former sidekick and was considered to be the brains of All Might.
Luna: Whoa! Shut the front door! Seriously?!
Destiny: He's the sidekick of All Might?!!
Riku nodded.
Riku: Sir Nighteye was famous for being one of the smartest people in the world.
Mikoto: Whoa...
Chassy: One of the smartest people in the world. That much intelligence...
Sylvia: Is he really one of the smartest?
Riku: Yep. Unusually for a Pro Hero, Nighteye appeared to prefer plain office clothes (a plain white suit with gold buttons, a white dress shirt and a red tie with white dots) instead of an elaborate hero costume.
Jack: What?! Then what's the point of wearing dumb plain office clothes instead of a cool hero costumes!
Mikoto: Not every hero wants to wear a flashy costume, Jack.
Riku: Exactly. His clothes, however, seem to be quite durable, as he used them during battles and they didn't show any sign of damage or tearing.
Jack: Tch. Sounds like a ordinary business man. Lame...
Eito: Yep! Very!
Riku gave them a glare.
Riku: You guys should take him seriously. He's more than just some ordinary salaryman. Sir Nighteye maintained a stoic and intimidating presence, with a cold and sharp glare, but that was only the side he showed in public. Even with his supposedly cruel and intimidating stare, Nighteye greatly valued humor and actually required people to make him laugh before he acknowledged them. Nighteye believed that humor and energy were vital elements for the future of society and punished subordinates that failed to display those qualities.
Jack/Eito: *Gulp*
Souta: Ha...
Jack: Shut up!
Mikoto: Oh wow...Just hearing all that made me realize Izuku is going to have his hands full if he's wants to impressed a Pro-Hero like that...
Hein: Exactly. Not every Pro-Hero is going to be all flashy. Like we all have discussed before, every hero is different from others.
Maria: So what's his quirk, nya?
Riku: His quirk is foresight. Foresight grants Sir Nighteye the ability to accurately predict all of the target's future moves and actions for an entire hour.
Foresight activates by first touching a target and then making eye contact with them. Once these conditions have been met, Nighteye is capable of watching the target's future lifetime from a third-person perspective that showcases the target themselves and their immediate surroundings, in a manner which is similar to a flashback.
Hein: Would that mean Nighteye would not appear to have a limit to how much he is able to see into the future.
Riku: Yes. He's being capable of foreseeing events that are years beyond present time.
Haru: Then he's that powerful then...even if his quirk is not used much for combat...
Kenji: He can still have great use for it. In combat situations, he could dodge his opponents abilities.
Mikoto: Yeah...(Poor Izuku...Why do I get the feeling that Pro-Hero Nighteye character isn't going to like him...)
Riku: Enough about Nighteye. Is anyone else interning with somebody?
Jack: Oh yeah! I'm interning with Fatgum.
Samuel: Fatgum?
Jack: Yep! His quirk is so cool! I heard he's also used to be involved with the Police Force and is well-known in the underground.
Eito: He sounds like a cool hero!
Luna: Me, Mio, and Zoe interning with Akari-chan. She's going to show us the ropes with the Pro-Hero we're seeing.
Zoe: *Nods*
Mio: I'm nervous yet excited for this new opportunity.
Luna: I'm sure it'll be fine. Afterall, Akari-chan will be there.
Zoe: Yeah...
Souta: Tch. You guys needs to stop relying on others and defend for yourself.
Mio/Zoe: *Glares*
Luna: Jerk....
Samuel: Souta-kun...Please cut the girls some slack. They been through enough.
Souta: So have all of us. No special treatment.
Jack: Sometimes I wonder if that mouth of yours needs a zipper!
Souta: Tch.
Mikoto: Anyone else?
Souta: Well...I'm gonna be interning with my brother Shun.
Class: Awwww~!
Souta: Shut up.
Jack: You love your brother don't you?
Souta: Say another word and I'll send you into a nightmarish world you will never wake up from.
Jack: I like to see you try!
Hein: Stop it already!
Jack/Souta:....
Riku: Anyway...While the rest of us are going to be doing the Hero Work Studies. Hamada-kun and Omari-kun will be making up for the the next exam.
Mikoto: Yeah. I know Yin would do his best. He's been through a lot like the rest of us. But with our support, I'm sure he and Kieran will get their licenses this time in a few more months.
Sylvia: You got that right. At least Yin won't be alonng in this. So anyone else have someone to intern with? Haru and Kenji already got someone
...Maybe I should go with either Kyan-Senpai or Akari-Senpai...
Riku: I'll be going with Kyan-Senpai.
Hein: *Nods* Me and Lilac are also coming along for the ride. There are still some things we haven't experienced in the Pro-Hero world and this is the great opportunity to learn.
Lilac: *Smiles* I agree with her.
Destiny: I'm going with Akari-chan! I bet she got a lot of experience under her belt!
Kelly: I'm interning with Kyan-Senpai!
Samuel: *Nods*
As everyone begin to have more conversations about the second internships coming up. There was still one thing in Mikoto's mind that made him remember something.
Mikoto: (Wait...If most of my classmates are going with either Kyan-Senpai or Akari-Senpai...what about Tsuyoi-Senpai...?)
Mikoto begin pondering whether or not to give the yukata senpai a chance....since he hardly knew anything about him...
-Later-
Mikoto: Dad?
Tohru: Oh hey, Kiddo! You're back home early.
Mikoto: Is it okay if I talk to you for a second.
Tohru: Sure thing. Do you need to know something. Dad's doors are always open for answers~~~!
Mikoto: Since the internships are coming up...I was wondering if you had someone in mind.
Tohru: Hmm...
Tohru begin to think for a second until Mikoto spoke up again.
Mikoto: I mean...I'm still thinking about going to Mom...but I decided I'll do that next time when the third Internships show up. So for now...I wondered if you had anyone in mind...
Tohru:....
Tohru stayed quiet for a moment before getting up and gestured for Mikoto to follow him.
They went up to the parents' bedroom before his father opened up a suitcase. Mikoto looked at him confused for a moment before his father pulled out a picture.
It was a picture of a Male Pro-Hero. Who look about to be in his fifties or sixties. He had a long white hair with a long beard and dark blue eyes.
Tohru: I did have...someone in mind, son. That's what I wanted to tell you from the start. But I thought you already made up your mind...so here.
Tohru gave Mikoto the picture.
Tohru: How about you take up on his offer. He requested for you some time ago...
Mikoto looked at the picture and on the back showed the man's signature.
Mikoto: Taka Fujimura, The Samurai Pro-Hero?
QOTD: Why does Tohru seem hesitant about giving the picture to Mikoto?
