The jewel robbery is being commenced nearby.

Deku, Mikoto, Sylvia, Haru, Shouto, and Katsuki spot the robbery and respond quickly. 

Haru: There's one of them!

Sylvia: The other is heading in another direction!

Mikoto: Let's split up and catch each one of them!

Bakugo: No need to tell me twice, Snowball!

Bakugo already took off with Sylvia and Haru following in tow.

Mikoto, Shoto, and Izuku chase the other, who is the one carrying the briefcase with the stolen jewelry. Due to this villain started attacking bystanders during the escape.

Mikoto: We need to get that briefcase!

Deku: But all those civilians got hurt!

Shouto: We'll continue the chase. You help out the citizens. 

Mikoto: Yeah! Leave it to us, Izuku!

Deku: Got it!

Izuku stays behind, helping out the civilians, while the two cousins continues the chase.

Mikoto: Let's take him down with our ice attacks, Shouto!

Shouto: Good idea. He won't see it coming. I have an idea.

Bakugo, Sylvia, and Haru all defeats and captures the criminal  is chasing, while Mikoto Shoto chases the other down an alley. The other criminal had passed the briefcase onto Rody Soul. A young boy whose about the hero students' age, is whose an accomplice, neing there to receive the briefcase and take it to the agreed place, as the villain quickly passes it on to him before continuing to flee, only to be immediately captured by the ice trap the two cousins set for him. 

Shouto: Got you.

Criminal: Damnit.

Shoto finds out the defeated villain no longer has the briefcase and tells Mikoto about it when he arrives.

Mikoto: Where is the briefcase. 

Criminal: I'm not telling you heroes a damn thing!

Mikoto: Maybe a negotiation would be nice. 

Meanwhile Izuku then spots Rody running away with the briefcase and makes a break into a chase after him across the city, through the streets and on the rooftops. 

Izuku even tries to apprehend him with his , but Rody, who is exceptionally skilled in thievery and parkour, has knowledge of the city streets, and help of Pino, easily evades all his attempts to capture him. Izuku eventually loses track of Rody.

While all this is happening, on the highway, Alan Kay is driving a car, with a briefcase in his possession, planning to alert the authorities, but he is ambushed by a Humarise agent, who uses her Quirk to shoot armor-piercing arrows, leading to a car crash on a bridge just as Rody was passing under it. 

The young thief is nearly crushed by falling debris and loses his briefcase during the scuffle. Mikoto who catches up to Deku, is surprised to see all the chaos just happened?

Mikoto: Whoa....WTF just happened? 

Deku: Miichan. I see the thief not too far away!

Izuku and Rody discover there are no jewels in the briefcase.

Izuku, who is still looking for Rody not far from there.

Shouto: You two go! I'll deal with the car crash! 

Mikoto: You got it Shouto! Leave it to us!

After verifying that he is all right, Rody grabs the briefcase supposedly meant to contain the jewelry and runs towards the subway station when he sees Izuku and Mikoto again, who both goes after him. 

Mikoto: Stop you thief!

Rody Soul ignored him and continued running.

They are spotted by Beros, who picks up Alan's alleged briefcase.

Rody rushes into a train just as it is leaving and thinks that he has finally managed to give Deku & Mikoto the slip, but he ends up totally surprised when he sees the young heroes reach the train after catching up to it on foot...

Although Mikoto was using his snow to creating an avalanche while using a snowboard!

Rody: (WTH?! WHY CAN'T THEY JUST LEAVE ME ALONE?!)

At the next subway stop. Izuku questions Rody.

Deku: Why are you running? Show us what's inside the briefcase!

 Rody doesn't want to do it. 

Rody:  You guys are foreign heroes who have no authority in Otheon!

Mikoto: If you want to prove our innocence! Just give us the briefcase!

Rody: No!  

This triggers a fight between the three of them over the briefcase before the two, dropping it where they realize it only contains documents, books, and notepads, confusing all of them, especially Rody.

Mikoto:.... What is this?

Rody: (W-Where are all the jewels?!)

An unusually large number of police officers arrive to capture Rody.

Back on the bridge, Shoto is able to spot the crash and freeze the car to prevent it from exploding. There, he notices the large holes in the car.

Shouto: Strange....

Sylvia: Todoroki!

Sylvia and Haru showed up, both relieved to see he was alright.

Shouto: Oh...Akuma...Mitsuo...

Haru: H-Have you seen Mikoto?

Shouto: He and Midoriya are chasing the thief who has the briefcase...Tell me something, don't you both noticed something strange about this car?

Sylvia: Yeah...what's with the large holes?

Haru: Is it possible...this accident was staged...

Shouto: IDK....But I get the feeling we'll find out later...

Nearby, unknown to the police, the Humarize Villain, Beros checks the briefcase, only to find it containing stolen jewelry. 

Beros: Sir. I have the briefcase.

Flect: Excellent.

She then informs her leader, Flect Turn, about the situation, and he orders her to continue tracking Alan's case while he also takes some measures to get it back.

Beros then looked over to the young heroes who was investigating the car crash. 

Beros: Stay out of our way, heroes. 

She then quickly vanished in the shadows like she was never there.

Deku: We're sorry! We're so sorry!!!

At the subway stop, Izuku exaggeratedly apologizes to Rody for taking him for a thief. Mikoto also rubbed the back of his head in embarrassment.

Mikoto: Yeah...Gomenasai...We thought you were the thief who had the stolen jewelry...

Rody tries to brush off their apologies, though inwardly he is completely freaked out that he doesn't have the briefcase with the stolen jewelry. 

Rody: (What is going on? Where is the jewelry??!)

He then realizes that he must have mixed it up with another case during the earlier accident.

Barely hiding his anxiety, Rody leaves the place, taking the wrong briefcase with him. 

Both seeing his nervousness, Izuku & Mikoto follows him to make sure everything is all right, but shortly after leaving the subway, the Otheon police arrive. 

Police: POLICE! PUT YOUR HANDS IN THE AIR!!!

Rody: SHIT!!!

All the officers point their guns at the frightened Rody and order him to surrender. 

Mikoto: WHOA! WAIT A MINUTE! YOU GOT THE WRONG GUY!

Deku: YEAH IT'S NOT HIM!!

Both boys tries to defuse the situation, but suddenly Rody runs away, clutching the briefcase strongly. 

Police: YOU'RE ALL UNDER ARREST FOR MURDER!!!

Deku and Mikoto's eyes went wide while Rody stared in shock. 

What? Murder? WHAT MURDER?!!

The police then responded again with a shoot-to-kill order and begin to fire at Deku, Mikoto, and Rody.

Izuku grabs Rody and escapes with him by swinging throughout the city with Blackwhip, avoiding the police, and landing on the roof of a train while Mikoto used his quirk to freeze the bullets from hitting them in the back. 

He then created a ice wall, something he learned from Shouto, to stop the police.

Rody is totally stunned by the experience.

Deku: Why are the police attacking us?!!

The very question Mikoto wanted to ask and then that's when it hit him.

The car accident...Murder...the jewel heist...the briefcase...

It was all staged...

It was a trap and they both along with Rody fell right into it...

Mikoto: Izuku...

Deku: Yeah?

Mikoto: ...They think we're accomplices to the crime...

Deku: Wha-? No! But we're heroes!

Mikoto: Not in this country we are! To them, they must think we're wanted felons in cahoots with the villain.

Deku: I...I just thought they would listen.

Mikoto: Well they're not. (It's just the same like it is in Japan. Regardless if it's a misunderstanding or not! People won't listen!)

When the train passes through a bridge, they are suddenly attacked by Beros with her arrows from the other shore.

Deku: WHOA!

Mikoto: WHAT THE-?!

Beros: Die...

Mikoto: LOOKOUT!!!

Mikoto sends a snow tornado at Beros throwing her arrows off course as Izuku swings across the bridge, dodging the projectiles, but the dangerous experience is too much for Rody, who passes out from the shock. Mikoto followed close behind when the police reappear to chase them.

Mikoto: Izuku! 

Deku: Yeah?!

Mikoto: The Ocean...! The Ocean!

Realizing his plam, Izuku is forced to escape towards the ocean to avoid civilians getting hit in the crossfire. Both boys along with Rody fell into the ocean...

*SPLASH*

Beros: Shit...

Unable to continue attacking them, Beros leaves the place to inform her boss of what has happened.

And because with this little incident and a big huge misunderstanding...

Izuku and Mikoto unwillingly became wanted criminals on the run...
