Time to Team Up!

Hey! Just me again. Just a few questions if you're still reading this far, i'm curious to know if you want to read more about Cry's parents as i'm basically righting them the say way every single time. Next, if you have any ideas on some possible filler chapters I would love to hear them, say class 1-B comes up with everyone's own hero theme like All Might's. Also, If you have any recommendations, i'm all ears to your opinions. Thank you if you've made it this far.

A day after we had elected our class rep, it was time for another serious lesson from Mr. Kan. "Today we will be going to Battleground Delta. We will be doing combat training so be prepared to get hurt." He hit his switch on his desk that opened some doors to our hero costumes. "Change into your costumes and meet me down at the training ground in fifteen minutes, don't be late or you will be punished!" We all yelled back to him "Yes sir!" I quickly suited up into my pilot looking outfit and made my way down to the training ground with Juzo Honenuki(Quirk: Softening) and Reiko Yanagi(Quirk: Poltergeist). "What kind of combat training do you think he's gonna make us do?" He asked both of us. "Maybe it's more training robots." Yanagi said softly with an emotionless expression on her face. "Can't really say, knowing out teacher he'll probably make it as tough as possible. I'm just trying to psyche myself up for it right now." I told them both.

After making our way down to battleground delta, we all gathered in our standard semi-circle formation around Mr. Kan. "Here's how things will work, each of you will be broken up into teams of 2. 5 teams will be hero teams and the other 5, the villain teams. Inside the building behind me there is a fake nuclear device hidden on one of the floors. It is the villains job to guard this device from the heroes for 30 minutes, doing so gives the villain team the victory. However, if the hero team is able to secure the device or capture both villains using this capture tape here, the heroes will be victorious. Everybody understand?" We all replied to him "Yes sir!" He had a box in his hands and said to all of us "Now, come and take a random number out of this box, there are 2 of every number ranging from 1-10, after you take your number, find your partner and wait for my instructions." We formed a line in front and I ended up first to take a number, It was number 3, now I just had to wait and see who else got the number 3. After a few minutes of waiting someone had finally got the other number 3, it was Setsuna Tokage(Quirk: Lizard Tail Cut).

We discussed our plans depending on what type of team we were given, Tokage talking more than me due to her natural chattiness. We were suddenly interrupted by Mr. Kan who was about to tell us who the first 2 teams would be and what their roles will be. He pulled out 2 numbers from the box he had and held them up so everyone could see. "The first two teams to participate in the combat training exercise will be team number 7 and team number 3. Team 7 will be the heroes and team 3 will be the villains. Team 3 please make your way inside the building and prepare for team 7's arrival, you have 15 minutes." He told us. We responded back to him "Yes sir." and made our way towards the building. While walking toward the building, I peered behind over my left shoulder to try and get a good look at who team 7 consisted of. I just barely saw that it was Kendo and Tetsutetsu before heading inside of the building. After finding the fake nuclear device on the top floor, me and Tokage came up with a plan. I would spy from the roof top to notify Tokage that the heroes had entered the building. After that, I would silently drop down to the bottom floor from the outside and quietly follow them until they reached the 4th floor. From there Tokage will be waiting for them with myself closely following behind them and we will initiate a quick pincer attack on the two heroes and take them out. If things go wrong we retreat to the room where the device is kept and stand our ground there.

A buzzer sounded from outside and we put our plan into action. Tokage exited the room and headed towards the 4th floor while I flew out a side window so no one would see me exit the building. I waited on the roof just peering over the edge to see Kendo and Tetsutetsu approaching the building. They entered through a window on the ground floor and I notified Tokage thanks to the ear pieces that Mr. Kan gave us. "Alright buddy, standing by!" She said happily in her ear piece. I slowly flew down the side of the building where there were less windows, so there was a smaller chance of myself getting seen by the other team. I reached the ground and made my way to the window that the other team had entered. I entered and silently creeped through the dark halls of the building and saw Kendo and Tetsutetsu going around a corner towards the stairs to the next floor. I continued to follow quietly as they eventually reached the stairs to the 4th floor. As they were beginning to climb the stairs, I stood nearby around a corner and whispered into my ear piece to Tokage that they were about to arrive on her floor. "Gotcha, ready to take them on." She whispered back to me. I began to follow the other team again and climbed the stairs to the next floor.

I arrived at the top of the stairs to see nothing. I was confused as I was expecting to see the other team making their way down the halls to the top floor. "They must've went down one of these side halls!" I thought to myself. I took a few steps and was about to talk into my ear piece when a metal fist came around one of the corners and struck me in the chest sending me flying down the stairs behind me. I landed on my back at the bottom of the stairs and shortly slid across the floor. I groaned before raising my head and seeing Kendo and Tetsutetsu looking down at me. "You're not as quiet as you think Cry!" Kendo said to me. "I figured it was a good plan, guess you got good hearing." I replied back to them. "Tokage! Attack!" I yelled through the long hallways. "Roger!" She yelled back some distance away. Kendo and Tetsutetsu quickly looked behind them to prepare for an attack from Tokage. While they had their backs turned I jumped back onto my feet and sprouted my dragon wings. I generated psi through the muscles in my legs and used it as a boost to increase my speed and power as I took off. I crashed my body into Tetsutetsu since I figured it would be harder to knock him out with his body being made of iron. I lifted him off the ground then generated 30,000 psi into my arm muscles. I figured it was enough to crack his iron body. I quickly adjusted myself and wrapped my legs around his chest and began punching his head. He kept trying to slip out of my hold but I wasn't letting him go. He was trying to punch me in the stomach and head, as well as grab my wings to try and land us. He was able to land some hard punches on my chest that took the wind out of me. My fists kept hitting his head but they didn't seem to crack his iron so I increased their power to 50,000. While they were charging up Tetsutetsu was able to grab hold of one of my wings as they were flapping. He pulled it down and sent us both crashing into the floor. He landed on top of we, crushing my chest. I quickly shoved him off of me then glanced over to see how Tokage was handling Kendo.

Tokage was quickly jumping in circles around Kendo using her reptilian tail to launch herself off of the ground. She would use it to bounce off of nearby walls and then use the momentum to land serious kicks on Kendo. Kendo was blocking her attacks with her massive hands and eventually was able to grab hold of Tokage by her tail. "That ain't gonna work on me!" Tokage said to Kendo as she detached her tail from her body. A new one almost instantly regenerated from her body.

She seemed to be holding her own so I set my eyes back on to Tetsutetsu. We were both trying to get back onto our feet, staggering a bit from the crash. While I was getting up I used my special goggles to see how much kinetic energy my body had taken in. The reading said 4,000 pounds, about the strength of a medium sized wrecking ball. I figured this would be more than enough power to knock him out. I decided to release the kinetic energy I had stored in my body, my body started to shake, the first object I come in contact with will feel the full force of the energy I had stored. Me and Tetsutetsu glared at each other for a few seconds and then he spoke to me. "You look pretty tired bud, why don't you give up?" He said jokingly. "Can't do that. But seeing as you look pretty tired yourself, I think the next hit will do one of us in. And I think it's going to be you." I replied back to him. "I'd like to see you try and beat me with one shot. Bring it on!" He shouted as he started running towards me. I stood my ground and prepared for his attack, readying my fist to strike him with the energy I received from him. He sent his right fist flying towards me and I countered with my left fist. Our punches met each other creating a huge shockwave that shattered nearby windows. I watched as I sent him flying backwards, head first into a wall, creating a small dust cloud. When the dust cleared, Tetsutetsu was laying on the ground, no longer covered in iron, I knew he was finished. I looked to my left hand and noticed that my index finger was bent backwards. I guess I couldn't feel it from the adrenaline of the battle. It must've bent from the force of the impact. I staggered a bit, my eyesight becoming a little hazy but I turned around and focused my eyes on the only target left, Kendo.

While I was busy finishing off Tetsutetsu, Kendo had managed to capture Tokage with the capture tape. She had tied her hands up and sat her in the corner. The only combatants left were me and Kendo, and she looked in way better shape than me. "I'm not going to be saving you this time Kendo!" I said to her with a smile. "Don't plan on needing to be saved anyway!" she replied back to me. I started to run toward her and grew my wings from my back. I took off of the ground but she was able to grab onto my legs because of her extended reach from her huge hands. She threw me down a side hallway and bolted toward the staircase leading towards the top floor. I wasn't one to give up though as I quickly got up and chased her down. I was a short distance behind her, she had gotten to the top of the staircase while I had just reached the bottom. I knew I could close the distance if I just flew up the stairs so I launched myself off of the ground. Upon reaching the top I was met with a huge fist that reached out and pinned my body against a wall. "Sorry Cry, but the heroes must win, even you know that." She said with some sweat dripping from her head. "That's true, but i'm not a hero right now, and a villain will do whatever it takes to win!" I yelled back to her as I activated my overdrive ability. My body began to faintly glow red and veins could be seen on my arms. My hands being free of Kendo's pin grabbed her wrist and shoved her away. I then retracted my wings and landed on the ground. I began to sprint towards Kendo but not looking to attack her. What I was looking for was her capture tape so I could capture her before I passed out from using my overdrive. I was able to spot it on her hip and quickly snatched it before she could react. She turned around and glared at me, "Nice trick, but you said you can't control some of your abilities to their max, so this one clearly has a limit to it. I'm guessing it makes you pretty tired after?" She said full of confidence. "I'll just have to beat you before I run out of time then." I said to her before charging at her again. She prepared for it and went to block my attack with both of her huge fists. I stopped just before making contact with her hands and grabbed them. I shoved them both in different directions leaving Kendo wide open for an attack. I landed a strong punch on her stomach area that sent her flying into a nearby pillar. I took out the capture tape that I had stolen from her a few seconds ago and used it to secure her to the pillar. Kendo was unable to move and a voice could be heard throughout the building. "The villain team wins!" It was Mr. Kan on a PA system. He had been watching the exercise with the rest of our classmates. "Job well done everyone, now come back outside and we'll go over all of your results." I was about to raise my hands into the air in victory but I suddenly felt the pain in my left hand. I guess my adrenaline had wore off and I could feel the pain from my index finger being bent backwards. However the pain was slowly going away as I began to fall to the ground and pass out from exhaustion.
