It was the next day, and the four of us were taken to Hosu General Hospital. None of us got any sleep, the only thing we thought about was the hero killer. "After everything that happened back there, it seems like a miracle that we're even alive." Midoriya stated. "He probably could've killed us if he wanted to." I replied to Midoriya. "Yes, it's weird how he let the three of go. But most impressively, you were able to survive Iida, despite you being the one he wanted to murder." Todoroki said to Iida. Before we could continue though, Gran Torino entered our room with another pro hero. Both heroes giving comments to Midoriya and Iida on their stupid decisions. "Before I continue scolding you all, you have a visitor." Gran Torino said to all of us. In came an average sized man wearing a suit and tie. The only thing out of the ordinary was that he had, a dog head? "This is Hosu's chief of police, Kenji Surogamei." Gran Torino stated as the four of us stood up and locked our eyes with the chief of police. "So you're the UA students who brought down the hero killer huh? Stain has some serious injuries, severe burns and broken bones. He's in the hospital until heavy guard currently, woof. Here's a lesson you may all know already. When quirks became the norm, the police force sought to maintain the status quo. We decided we wouldn't use quirks as weapons. That's when the heroes came in, they could do what we couldn't if they were licensed. It would be impossible for the police to condone the use of deadly quirks. After all we're here to stop harm from being done, woof. the only reason pros can use their quirks now is because of the strict code of ethics, young heroes chose to abide by. That's why it's against the law for unlicensed civilians to use their quirks to cause injury. Whether you were all up against the hero killer or not, none of you had the authority to harm the villain. That means the four of you and your supervisors, Endeavor, Manual, Gran Torino, and Wrath Queen, are sure to receive harsh punishments for this abuse of your powers." The thought hurt me, that we saved peoples lives but had no authority too. 'What were we supposed to do, leave our friend to be killed by the hero killer?" I thought to myself. The chief continued his speech. "It's never ok to break the law, even if it does go your way. This is why none of you are full-fledged heroes yet. It's obvious UA hasn't been teaching you near enough. But hear me out before you say anything. What i've just said is the official stance of the police department. But, any punishment would only be necessary if this news got out to the public. If it did, you all would be applauded by citizens everywhere. But there would be no way for any of you to escape from being reprimanded. On the other hand, we could just say Endeavor saved the day. Stains burn marks would support the story completely and we could pretend you weren't involved at all. Luckily for everyone, there were very few witnesses. It would mean no one would know about any of you though. The choice is all yours, and I don't want to damage any promising young careers like yours. Not for something like this." The chief stated as he finished his speech. The pro hero Manual stepped in and began to talk. "Either way, we'll need to take responsibility for being so negligent as supervisors." Iida walked over to him and bowed his upper body before him. "I'm sorry, I should've listened to you. None of this would've happened if I just listened." Iida stated. Manual beginning to yell at Iida, "You caused us a lot of trouble you know? Remember that and don't do it ever again!" He said as Iida raised himself back up and smiled. The rest of us then apologized together  to the heroes and chief of police. The chief began to speak again, "I know that it isn't fair. You won't get to enjoy any of the fame that you probably would've received otherwise. But at least, as the chief of police, allow me to thank the four of you personally for ending the terror that was the hero killer." He said while bowing to all of us.   

Out of the four of us, I had received the most life threatening wound from the hero killer and I had to stay in the hospital longer than the other three. I knew it was a bad decision but I also knew it would be the only way to land a solid hit on the hero killer. It kept frustrating me, thinking about if it was the right move or not, letting him stab me. Everyone had left by now, I was the only one who remained in the hospital room. I kept thinking to myself, "Why are you going so far to protect others. You just end up hurting yourself more than the thing you're protecting them from. Just look at the sports festival. You received permanent damage when you blew off two of your fingers. Is this not enough? How far can you really go?" I contemplated over this idea until I was discharged from the hospital.

After a few hours, I returned back to the Hosu City Hero Agency. I entered the building and my mother was waiting at the door. She tackled me to the ground and began crying. "Oh my goodness sweetie, I was so worried about you. I shouldn't have let you go on your own!" She said while crying. "It's ok mom, i'm fine now, Endeavor was there to save everyone and I helped get everyone to safety. I did run into more of those creatures though, and it was able to wound me. That's why I wasn't able to return to you last night." I explained to her. It hurt saying some of the things I said. Saying Endeavor helped everyone including me hurt the most, as I still had a hatred towards him. "I'm just glad your ok sweetie. I don't know what I would've done if you were lost last night. I probably would've broken down. I should've come with you." She said to me, still crying. "Now then, as your supervisor, today we will be taking the day off. You need a long rest after last night so I made arrangements for neither of us to work today. It's just pool time for us today." She said as she began to smile. I smiled back and said "Thanks mom, I'm glad you were safe during last night. I don't know what I would've done without you either." I said to her as I started to tear up, and I gave her a hug as we left the agency.
