Hope you all enjoyed the movie filler of this series! Yes, I did decide to have Cry join in on All Might and Midoriya's final push towards Wolfram. It just didn't feel right having him just stand around and watch those events occur. Plus, it gave me another chance to use Overdrive, debatably his least used power of his original quirk. I don't know, maybe it's tied with futuresight. Anyways, as I promised, here is another canon chapter! We've reached the end of the joint training session and now we get to see things we've been waiting for for months. Will Shinso be accepted into the hero course? And if so, which class will he be in? Well you get to find out some of those things right now! Enjoy!

"Sorry everyone... I... I failed you all." I said to my classmates as I put my head down in shame. My face was killing me from getting punched by Midoriya. I had a large black eye oh the right side of my face. "It's fine. You did everything you could as a leader. And... i'm thankful to you for saving me from Midoriya." Shinso said as me and my team exited class A's jail. We walked back to the rest of our classmates so we could finish up our training session. When we arrived, Midnight had taken over as the announcer, probably because Mr. Kan was being so biased. "There were some real do-or-die moments in the fifth match! But with a score of 4-0... Class A wins! And that brings these five matches to a close! You showed us some fantastic battles, proving how well you knew your enemies and yourselves!" Midnight said as everyone began to cheer. I raised my left arm up just like everyone else did. I still couldn't focus hard enough to form another right arm yet so I was stuck like this for now. "Class A took the first match, while class B took the second. The third match was a draw... and class A won the fourth and fifth matches! So the grand victory in battle training goes to class A!" Midnight roared into the microphone as all the class A students cheered even louder. "We were all deceived." Shiozaki said, breaking a tear from her left eye. "I'm not even that competitive, but still..." Kaibara said as Komori jumped in. "I know. It still stings! Hmph!" She said, making a pouty face. "You gonna be ok?" Kendo asked me as she was looking at my right arm. "I should be fine in an hour or two. I'll make a new one in no time. I was just surprised it shattered like that." I said to her as she laughed. "Yeah, we were all shocked as well. When you and Midoriya reappeared out of nowhere, we were stunned to see you both still fighting. And then when your arm broke apart, everyone, maybe even the teachers became silent. I mean... It's not everyday you see a person break a diamond with a single punch." Kendo said as she lightly punched my right side. "Well, it just shows I've still got a long way to go if I want to master this new quirk. And after watching Tetsutetsu battle, and fighting Midoriya, I think I may have a new move i'd like to try out." I said as Kendo grew curious. "And what would that be?" She asked me as I let out a small chuckle. "I'll leave that as a surprise. Assuming I can even pull it off." I said as Shinso walked past me. He walked right over to Aizawa, clenching his own binding cloth in his hands. "Master... I wasn't able to accomplish anything on my own, today. I'm still lacking." Shinso said as he put his head down in defeat. 

"And this was my test for a possible transfer, right?" Shinso asked as Mr. Kan looked stunned. "He knew?" Mr. Kan asked Aizawa. "It was just a guess, but given the timing and the format... This was a convenient way to test me that didn't cost anything. Plus, you let me fight twice." Shinso explained as Mr. Kan might as well have dropped his jaw. "We'll discuss your results soon. We still have to go over the postgame analysis first. Let's gather everyone together." Aizawa said as he and Mr. Kan caught the attention of all the students. "Um... First off, Midoriya. Want to tell us what happened?" Aizawa asked him as Midoriya started to look worried. I knew he wasn't comfortable talking about what happened during the match and I knew he wasn't going to just let out the secret of One for All. So I stepped in to answer for him. "Look, i'm just gonna give you the same answer he gave to me when I took him into the pocket dimension. Midoriya doesn't know what happened. Some sort of power went out of control inside him and those weird black tendrils shot out everywhere. It took control of Midoriya, even when he caught the falling pipes. We both figured it was because of all the stress he was putting on his body before. And after I damaged him enough during our one-on-one fight, that weird black stuff just vanished." I explained as everyone seemed to agree with me. Midoriya, who was standing to my left reached out and put his right hand on my shoulder. I looked and saw him give me a nod and a smile. He was thanking me. "That's right. The power just welled up and I couldn't control it. It's like something I've believed in up to now all of a sudden turned on me. It was truly terrifying. But when Uraraka, Shinso and Cry tried to stop me... that helped me realize that it wasn't all bad. If Shinso hadn't used his brainwashing to knock me unconscious... I honestly don't know what would've happened." Midoriya explained as he looked past me, over to Shinso who was standing by my right side. "You asked me if I was bluffing, Shinso. You asked because it looked like I had control of that black stuff when it appeared for the second time. I wasn't though. I had no clue what was going on. So to the three of you... Thank you!" Midoriya said to us. 

"That's true! Facing down Midoriya's little rampage... Uraraka, Cry, and Shinso all demonstrated quick thinking and fast responses! And the way Uraraka, in particular, put herself on the line to help her friend was incredible! I loved it!" Midnight said to us. "Yeah, you just jumped right in without thinking, Uraraka! Quick as a whip! And then you wrapped your arms around him, tight!" Ashido said to Uraraka as I could see Uraraka's face was turning red. "I-It's true that I acted before thinking. In the future, I should try and keep a cool head... But... If the alternative is doing nothing and regretting it... Then i'd be happier jumping in." Uraraka said as her teacher, Aizawa, looked at her curiously. "I was just doing it for Midoriya's sake." Shinso said as I looked back over to him. "Uraraka gave me the order, and I acted. Plus... I saw the other members of my team getting wrecked by that black energy... And realized that our team would probably lose unless we put a stop to it. I did what I did... Because I wanted to fight Midoriya. And beat him! It only worked out that way by chance. But in that moment, I was focused on myself and what I wanted to do." Shinso explained as Aizawa walked right up to him. Aizawa grabbed onto Shinso's binding cloth and began tightening it around his neck, strangling Shinso. Everyone began to freak out, seeing a teacher hurt a student like this. But Aizawa quickly stopped, letting Shinso go. "Nobody was asking for any more than that from you. Everyone here has already spent months training to become heroes who save people. Embodying that ideal right after being thrown into the deep end is not possible. That would take talent on par with All Might. Acting for the sake of others! Saving people actually takes a lot more than just that! You'll never protect anyone until you find whatever strength you need for yourself." Aizawa said to Shinso as he put his head down. Aizawa then put his hand on Shinso's shoulder and said "If you think about it that way, your actions earned you more than just a passing grade." Shinso then pirked his head up in surprise. 

"Shinso, at the end there, you tried luring me into the big brawl, where you would've really shined, right?" Midoriya asked but Shinso had no words. Midoriya then continued and said "And remember when you tried tripping me up using those falling pipes? That was so fast! The way you whipped out the binding cloth while on the move really reminded me of Mr. Aizawa! And in the first match too... I was thinking how the team came together to make great use of your abilities! But that's not all it was! Your judgement, instant analysis and quick moves are just as impressive as anyone in the hero course! You blew me away!" Midoriya then looked to himself, clenching his right hand in front of his face. "But if we're talking about using our strengths for others... Then i'm the one who's got a long way to go on that front." Midoriya said. "Indeed." Aizawa added as Mr. Kan butted in. "We've still got some deliberating to do, but... Probably... No, more than likely... Shinso will be joining the hero course as of his second year at U.A! He's got what it takes to be everyone's equal here!" He said as everyone cheered for Shinso. "Which class!? A or B!?" Some of the students asked. "All in good time. We're not done with our reviews yet." Mr. Kan said as the students let out a big sigh. 

All of a sudden, Monoma walked up beside me and he began speaking. "Heh, heh... This may have been a dark day for class B, yes. But we've only lost the battle! Not the war! Now that I know Midoriya's quirk gives me a blank, I will formulate a counter strategy! Meaning, if we were to go another five rounds, who know how it'd turn out!?" Monoma said with crazy laughter. "Not a chance. Class is over for today." Mr. Kan said as all the students began to leave. However, Aizawa stopped Monoma for a second and said "By the way, Monoma... I want you to come see Eri later." "He wants Monoma to see Eri!? Why!? To see if he can copy her quirk!? Maybe it's for Mirio!" I thought as I grew very curious. I looked over my shoulder and saw Midoriya was giving off the same look I had on my face. He must've heard Aizawa too. I then saw All Might whisper into Midoriya's ear. They both began to walk away from everyone else and I saw Bakugou follow them. "Hey, i'll catch up later. I'm gonna go see if I can get my injuries healed." I told Kendo as I also chased after Midoriya and All Might. 

-Time Skip: 3 Hours-

"The hell is wrong with you!? You scared or something!?" Bakugou yelled to Midoriya as he fired several explosions at him. "Wait, wait! I'm telling you, it just won't activate!" Midoriya pleaded as he dodged the attacks. The four of us has gone to one of the training gyms to discuss what had happened to Midoriya. "I thank you for keeping One for All secret, young Cry." All Might said to me as we both watched Bakugou try and get Midoriya to activate Black Whip. "It's no big deal. I promised i'd keep the secret and that's exactly what I did." I said as I held up an ice-pack to my right eye. "Think you can use your powers again?" All Might asked me as I looked to him. 'I'll give it a shot. I'm sure by now I can do something." I said as my body's veins started glowing purple. I focused into my right arm, imagining an arm being created. And like before, a new right arm formed. It wasn't like the one I had before though. It was still made out of diamond but this time it was more bumpy. The last one I had was a bit more smooth. "I guess I should've waited until I was back to 100%. Looks like i'm stuck with this weird looking arm now." I jokingly said as we both looked back to Bakugou. "It's one of those things that activates when you're in mortal danger, ain't it!?" Bakugou asked Midoriya. "Well, this is training to make sure it doesn't activate. What's wrong, young Midoriya?" All Might asked him. "I guess... I just can't activate it. That presence has disappeared..." Midoriya said as he clenched his right fist again. "You need to be in more danger! Once you're all beat up, it'll manifest just like that! Then when you're at that absolute state i'll absolutely destroy you and become the number one hero!" Bakugou roared as All Might let out a sigh. "Please turn down your ego." All Might said as I just chucked a bit. "If it responds to my feelings then... That time I was... It's not a power I can handle yet. That was my conclusion. And then it was as if the ability became locked away... But in that case, then I just have to visualize reopening and closing that lock..." Midoriya explained as Bakugou began to walk away. "This is freaking boring! If you can't use the power, then there's no damn point! I'm leaving! Listening to your damn mumbling is annoying, anyway!" Bakugou yelled as he left the gym. The three of us then decided to call it a night as well. All Might left us to return to our dorms. He did tell us that all the hero course students were in class A's dorm though so the two of us headed there. 

When we arrived, we were met by Tetsutetsu yelling to Kirishima. "You idiot! Bastard! Don't act so weak with me!!" Tetsutetsu yelled to him as Kirishima could be seen, sitting below Tetsutetsu. "But.. you're the one who completely surpassed me today..." Kirishima said as Tetsutetsu continued to yell into his ears. "I can stand heat in my metal state! But... There's a limit to how hard my metal can get! You're the one who gets harder the more you get hit so we're different! You and I, we have different strengths, don't we!?" Tetsutetsu yelled to him as we carefully walked past them both. We didn't want to get caught up in their feud. Shortly after, Iida rusehd past us. "Dinner is beef stew today!" He said as Midoriya stopped him to ask a question. "Class B is also here?" Midoriya asked. "Yes! Several of them are here to mingle and reflect together! And it's nice to see you could make it here too, Cry. And I see you have a new arm." Iida said as He ran over to inspect me. "Uh, thanks Iida. Yeah, I was able to make a new arm but I couldn't make it as smoothly as the last one. I'll just have to try and fix it later." I said to him as he started waving his arms to us. He then bolted off, running around the living room. "Midoriya, I was looking for you." Todoroki said as he stopped us both. "You also have two quirks?" He asked him. "What!?" Midoriya responded. "When we fought during the sports festival, you asked me to come at you with all I had, yet you were still hiding your own power? I'm kind of shocked." Todoroki said as Midoriya began to wildly shake his head. "N-No, you misunderstand! It might be an extension of my original quirk...? The base ability is still the same, I think... Today was the first time it had become like that, so even I was surprised." Midoriya explained as Todoroki looked at his cell phone. "I see. Seems pretty rough for you. I'm sorry for doubting you. Your quirk has become pretty amazing. And the same goes for you, Cry." Todoroki said to us as we thanked him. "You were also amazing! To be able to generate so much flame!" Midoriya said as Todorki looked to his phone again. "No,it's not enough. I haven't changed compared to you two." He said as he put his phone back into his pocket. "That's why... I need to progress further. And surpass you two." Todoroki said as he walked away. "Well he's certainly changed, hasn't he?" I said to Midoriya as we both laughed. 

"Hey, everyone! Deku and Poof are back!" Kendo yelled as everyone cheered. Some of our classmates then walked over to talk to us. "Wait, what do you mean "Poof?"" I asked as Kendo and Tokage started laughing. "That's what we like to call you. I don't know, it just seems fitting for your new quirk." Tokage said as her and Kendo began to laugh. "That's not going anywhere, anytime soon." I thought as I laughed with them. "Come on. Dinner's ready. I'm sure the both of you are pretty exhausted after everything you've went through today." Kendo said as we both nodded. We then went to change into some normal clothes. And afterwards, both our classes continued to party into the night. Even after class A took victory over class B, we still had a lot of fun and didn't hold a grudge against them. In fact, I would say it only strengthened our relationship together.
