A week had passed by since the cultural festival. November had arrived and with it, much colder weather. I was able to see Eri a few more times over the week. She and her tiny pet dragon seemed to be getting along just fine. Every time I would visit her, I would now be greeted with a smile. It warmed my heart to see her, almost to the point where I would cry. And the best part, UA was in charge of looking after her from now on. We could see each other almost everyday now. But with the new month here, came even more surprises. I was in my dorm, cooking some pasta for lunch. Some other of my classmates were also prepping their own lunch while the rest watched tv in the common area. We were told by Mr. Kan that we would have visitors today. As to who they were, we had no idea. When lunch was finished, we could hear someone knocking on our front door. Monoma went to open it but before he could, the doors blew open. "Lokking on with sparkly eyes! Here to lend a helping paw! Coming out of nowhere! Stringingly cute and catty! We're the Wild Wild Passtcats! Off work edition!" The pussycats yelled as they were all dressed like normal people now. "You all look well, my little kitties!" Pixie Bob said with a huge smile. "It's really been a while hasn't it?" Kamakiri said to them. Tiger then came over to me and said "I'm sorry for not protecting you that day. I was on sight where All for One was. I had word that Ragdoll here was taken there. Had he have not overpowered me, I would've been able to save you too." He put his head down afterwards. "Hey, hey, it's ok. I'm still here, and I still have a quirk. It's fine." I said to him as he raised his head back up. "We just came over from class A's dorm. They're a rowdy bunch, i'll tell you that!" Mandalay said while laughing. "But why did you guys come to UA? Couldn't we just chat over skype or something?" Rin asked. Pixie Bob then explained and said "We figured it would be better to tell you all in person. We came to celebrate her reinstatement!" She said as she pointed to Ragdoll. "What!? Reinstatement!? Congratulations!" We all said. Then Yanagi became curious and said "But, how could you have returned? Weren't you on break from active duties after getting your quirk stolen?" Ragdoll then began to laugh and said "I'm not officially returning to hero work! I'm going to be supporting these three as an office lady! I'm super pumped!" She said as she raised a fist into the air. Tetsutetsu also became curious and asked "There must be another reason why you all came here. Sure it's great to here Ragdoll's being reinstated, but it would just be too short. Is there another reason why you came?" Mandalay then explained and said "Yes there is. It'll be broadcasted soon, but this time, in the second half of the year, we were 411th on the JP Hero Billboard chart." Hearing her say this only confused some of my classmates. I knew what she was talking about though. Mandalay then continued and said "Each hero's number of incidents resolved, level of contribution to society, approval ratings, and so on, are aggregated twice a year and presented in a ranking of all active heroes! In other words, if one can place their names  in the upper ranks on the board, they'll be a hero that will certainly bring peace and joy to the people!" "Billboard, huh? Oh right! This semesters rankings haven't been revealed yet. Probably because so much has happened." Some of my classmates said. "A billboard chart without All Might, huh? Wonder how that'll turn out? Maybe my mother will be in the top ten now?" I said out loud as someone turned the tv back on. "Come on guys, it's about to start!" Ragdoll said, waving us over. We all sat around the tv, eagerly waiting to see who the new top ten heroes will be. The screen showed an arena, with news reporters galore standing everywhere. "I guess it's just crazy there since All Might's retired now." I thought to myself as I continued to watch. "The billboard chart, live for the first time from Kamino ward! Everyone surely knows the magnitude of its importance! Up until today's event, heroes have not traditionally appeared on stage at the presentation time! However, it seems that times have changed, take a look!!" One of the reporters said as they revealed the stage in the background. 

Standing on the stage was an announcer. He began his speech, "Welcome everybody to the second biannual billboard chart reveal! I'm sure you're all anxiously waiting to see who the top ten will be, so let's kick things off with number 10!" The announcer yelled as the number ten hero walked onto the stage. It was Ryukyu, the dragoon hero. She was part of the mission to save Eri. However, during that time she was the number 9 hero, so now she had fallen in the ranks. I was still hoping to see my mother on the list. The announcer then continued, calling out the number 9 and then the number 8 hero, "We have the armoured hero, Yoroimusha! And don't forget about the Washing Hero, Wash!" He said as he then called  up the number 7 hero. Everyone in our dorm dropped their jaw to see who appeared on stage next. "He may still be a rookie, but he has certainly made his mark! The new number 7 hero, it's Kamui Woods!" The announcer screamed. No one was expecting him to be part of the top ten since he was indeed, still a rookie. But we all came back to our senses after that shock and listened to see who the number 6 hero was. "And up next, holding onto his number 6 ranking, it's the shield hero, Crust!" The announcer said as the hero walked onto the stage. Now things were serious, the top 5 were about to be revealed. These were the greatest heroes in all of Japan, and with All Might now gone, everyone was looking to them most of all. 'Here we go people, it's our number 5, the rabbit hero, Miruko!" The announcer yelled as the hero made her way onto the stage, waving to the crowd of people. "Formerly the number 5 hero, he's moved up in the rankings, it's the ninja hero, Edgeshot!" The announcer screamed as Edgeshot appeared on stage out of nowhere. It felt good to see him again, especially since I hadn't seen him since the work studies were cancelled. At this point, with only three heroes left, I knew my mother hadn't made it onto the board. The final three would probably be heroes who were already in the top five but have now moved up one rank. The announcer continued, calling up the next hero. "Now it's time for number 3! Sadly this hero is absent due to having sustained heavy injuries in a previous fight, but he was able to stand out the second half of this year. His approval ratings were number 1! Our number 3 hero is none other than the Fiber Hero, Best Jeanist!" The announcer screamed as the crowd joined him. "And now, he claims to take it easy, be he can be quite ferocious! With tremendous momentum, he swoops into second place! It's the Winged Hero, Hawks!" The crowd roared even louder as hawks was an idol to everyone around him. Something about him just said "I'll always get the job done, take it easy." And that's why people loved him. But now it was time for the new number one hero to be revealed, and I wasn't too happy with the results. The announcer grew even louder as he called up the country's newest top hero. "AND NOW!! FROM JUST THE TEMPORARY NUMBER 1 HERO TO HIS NEW PLACE TODAY AS THE GENUINE NUMBER 1 HERO! AT LAST!! DAWNING A BRAND NEW COSTUME, IT'S THE FLAME HERO, ENDEAVOR!!!!!!" Endeavor made his way onto the stage, not even bothering to look to the crowd or even wave. "How can someone like him be the number one hero? Even though some people know what he's done, it just doesn't make sense." I thought to myself as I continued to watch. The hero commissioner then took to the stage and began to say a speech. She said "The reason we held this sort of ceremony at this time is because we judged this to be a turning point. It has been about three months since All Might's retirement and word is calculating that we still lack a hero icon. The heroes who will shoulder society's burdens going forward are all in this room. Let us all strive towards a more peaceful society together!" The live viewing then came to a close and everyone in my class, along with the pussycats, began to chat about the new top 10 heroes. 

I got a phone call on my cell as I was about to start talking with the pussycats. It was my mother. "Were you watching the reveal of the new top 10 heroes sweetie?" She asked me. I replied and said "Yes, I was hoping you had finally made it onto the board. Where are you placed now?" I asked. "I was just short of making the list. I'm now the number 12 hero though. I'm still movin' up. Maybe next year." She said to me. "I hope so, you've done so much, the least they could do is give you the number 10 spot." I said to her with a small chuckle. We then hung up on each other and I resumed my conversations with my classmates.
