Smile Eri!
Thank god the class B play is over. It was so hard thinking of what should happen in it. And on top of that, trying to remember events that happen in all of the movies that were used. I'm glad it's done, and i'm amazed it ended up being so long. Anyways, enjoy!
The first chance I had, I got off of the stage and made my way over to Mirio and Eri. I was still wearing my costume but that didn't concern me at the moment. I ran into my parents on the way. "Oh my goodness sweetie! You didn't tell us you had one of the lead roles! I thought you said you were the special effects editor!?" My mother asked as I quickly gave my response before passing them. "Our original Romeo hurt himself right before the play was supposed to start. I had to take over and try my best to put on a good show. I'll talk about it more later. I gotta go see someone right now." I said as I left them behind. I made my way through the crowd of people who were starting to leave. Luckily, Mirio and Eri hadn't left there spot yet so I was able to easily find them. I came to them and said "I'm sorry Eri. I tried my best to put on a good show for you." I put my head down and apologized if I scared her. "Why'd you hurt the cool dragon?" She asked me. "Sorry, but it was part of the show. I can make a new dragon for you to see. Would you like that?" I asked her. Before she gave an answer, Mirio began to talk to me. "I don't know who wrote the script but I think the play was just a tad too violent. Don't get me wrong, you were a great actor! But the play itself, maybe not for younger children." He said as he chuckled. "I figured that, but hey, let's go see how Midoriya's class is doing. What do ya say Eri?" I asked her as she replied "Yes, let's see Deku."
We headed to gym alpha where class A was doing there performance. Everyone was staring at me as we walked by since I was still in my costume. We made it to the gym just in time to see class A start. Jiro was leading her band on stage as the lead singer and bassist. Bakugou was on the drums, a bit surprising to see him participating with him classmates. Yaoyorozu was on keyboard, and both Tokoyami and Kaminari were on the electric guitar. Bakugou started things off by slamming drum sticks down with an explosion. The gym was filled with an electrifying energy, everyone was going crazy over the performance. The dancers in class A then appeared on stage, showing off some slick moves, outside of Iida who was just doing the robot. Everything was just so flashy, and what happened next, make the crowd look in awe. Midoriya had thrown Aoyama into the air and Ojiro caught him when he reached the ceiling. He then began to spin Aoyama as he let out small bursts of his laser beam. The effects from him were dazzling. After he let out his laser-light show, Asui swung Uraraka around the gym using her long tongue. Uraraka was giving high-fives to everyone as she traveled across the room. The people she touched then began to float in the air. She came over and touched me but missed Eri and Mirio. I too began to float into the air. Todoroki then, from the rafters near the ceiling, created several slides made of ice. When they were finished, Uraraka released her quirk and everyone who was floating fell onto one of the slides. Everyone was having an amazing time. Class A then dropped some sort of sparkly dust from the ceiling, making the entire gym twinkle. So much was happening, it was almost hard to keep track of everything. But was it enough though. The band on the stage began the finale as the volume of their music increased. I looked down to Eri and saw her covering her ears. "No,no,no. Come on Eri, smile!" I thought to myself. She was still watching though, so I came up with a plan to help out class A. I knew what she liked so I created a smaller dragon than the one before. It then flew over to Eri and licked her face. I could hear her yelling "Cool dragon! Cool Music! WWAAAAAHHHHHH!" And then what we had waited for finally happened. Eri was smiling.
Class A finished their performance in an explosive way as Bakugou let out another explosion with the final strike of his drumsticks. Just like my class's play, class A was given a standing ovation. I finally made it back to the ground and I ran back over to Eri and Mirio. "Well what'd you think Eri?" I asked her as she continued to smile. "So cool!" She yelled out as Midoriya had also joined us. He asked the same thing I did and Eri responded and said "At first I was scared because it was so loud, but then everyone started dancing and flying. And the dragon was here too! The lights went all "flash" and then everything got cold like "fwoosh!" and that lady's voice was all "Waah!"" She said with joy. It seemed both me and Midoriya both had the same felling when she was saying all these things, as we both began to cry. "We're so glad you enjoyed yourself!" Midoriya said as he let out a big smile. He then looked to me and said "Cry, I thought you were part of your class's stage crew. What's with the costume?" All I said to him was "It's a long story. I'll tell you later."
After class A's program, we all headed to the beauty pageant. "Nice! Just in time to see Kendo!" I said as she was preparing to show off her skills on stage. Several blocks of wood were standing in front of her. She then ran at them and began to spin her body. She chopped through the blocks with ease and finished with a stylish pose. "Her stunning dress is torn as she demonstrates her martial arts skills! It's a fusion of strength and beauty! What a wonderful performance!" The announcer said as he called up the next person. "The queen of the beauty contest! A third year from the support department! With her high-level ingenuity, she shows off her face to the crowd! A superb performance indeed!" The announcer yelled as a woman appeared, riding an ugly looking robot. The robot was designed after the contestants face, so, yeah. The announcer then continued, calling up the final contestant. "And last, but certainly not least, from the hero course, we have Hado!" Hado then appeared on stage, wearing a very fluffy looking dress. She then used her quirk to elegantly float in the air. She seemed to dance while in flight, almost like a fairy. She flew over the crowd and saw us all standing there. "It's Mirio! And Eri and Cry and Midoriya! What're they doing here?" She said as she floated back to the stage. The announcer than called up all of the contestants to the stage and told everyone in the crowd to vote. I didn't want to be biased but I was going to vote for Kendo. When voting was finished, the results were shown. Hado had won the beauty pageant, and she stood centre stage, wearing a crown and holding flowers. She waved to the crowd in victory as the competition came to a close.
We continued to have fun at the cultural festival. We went to everything. And the best part was, Eri never stopped smiling. She was having a great time, and my dragon I made for her had now rested on her head. "Maybe i'll leave it around, she could go home with a pet." I thought to myself as we headed through the courtyard. We went to several food stands, everyone getting something different. I was looking for a candy apple for Eri but none of them seemed to be selling them. We took her to everything, and the most surprising was the haunted house. We asked Eri if she wanted to go in and she agreed. And while me, Midoriya and Mirio all got scared at some point, Eri just laughed at whatever jumped out. "She is one brave little girl." I thought to myself as we headed over to the support department to finish off the night. The support departments promoting display turned into robot combat as two students didn't agree with each other. More of the students joined in with their bots and when all was said and done, Hatsume stood above a pile of smoldering metal.
With us seeing everything the cultural festival had to offer, it was now time for Eri to go back to the hospital. We had succeeded in finally saving Eri and making her smile. But I still had something I wanted to do. "Eri, before you go, I have something to show you." I said as I created some music equipment and clones of myself. "In case we couldn't make you smile, I prepared a song for you. One I hope you enjoy. I didn't have much time to make it because I was busy with my class's play but i'll play it for you anyway." I said as she eagerly nodded her head.
Eri listened and cheered as I played my song for her. She waved her hands in the air and smiled even greater than before. I could see tears forming in her eyes, but since she was still smiling, I knew that these were tears of joy. I then used my powers to lower the gravity, allowing Eri to float around in the air. Her and the dragon were having a great time as I continued to play my song. Midoriya and Mirio began to clap to the beat of my song and laughed. I may have looked ridiculous, playing a song around so many people and wearing a costume, but I was having too much fun to care. All I was happy for, was that Eri was having a great time.
When I finished my song, my clones and music equipment disappeared, and I returned the gravity to normal as Eri landed on Mirio's shoulders. I didn't notice it while I was playing but, a large crowd of people had circled me. It was a mix of students from class's A and B along with some random bystanders. They cheered my name, everyone enjoying my performance. I felt so embarrassed, my face turned a bright red. However, we moved past my performance and went back to saying goodbye to Eri shortly after. "Thanks a lot for today. It was fun." Eri said as her smile went away. "Hey, cheer up Eri, we'll see you again real soon!" Mirio said to her. Her smile didn't come back though, she wanted to stay with us. Midoriya then walked over and crouched in front of Eri. "I've got something for you. I figured you would like one so I got it for you!" He said as he held out a candy apple for her. "Where did you get one of those!? I looked everywhere for them!" Me and Mirio said as Eri slowly took the candy apple from Midoriya. That smile of hers quickly came back as she began to lick her lips. She took a bite out of it and only muttered a few words, "It's even sweeter than I imagined!" And with her now leaving with a smile, we had finished our mission. The three of us waved goodbye to Eri as Aizawa took her back to the hospital.
The night wasn't over for me yet though, because as I was heading back to my dorm to finally take off this costume, I was met by Jiro and Kendo. "So that was your little surprise for Eri you were telling me about. Nice job Cry, I didn't know you had such a good singing voice. Or instrumental skills at that!" Kendo said as she laughed. Jiro then stepped in and said "And here I thought I was the music prodigy, but seeing the crowd around you, I admit defeat. Hail to the king! You should come by sometime and we can make some songs together!" She said as I nodded my head. The two girls seemed to be getting along with each other, something I was worried about since one was my girlfriend and the other really admired me. All was good though as we headed back to class B's dorm, and watched movies into the late night.
