This will be an important chapter, not only for Cry but also another character. This part of the manga finally got me to like another of my least favourite characters. It showed them as human for once. Anyways, enough of that, enjoy!

That same night, we were all relaxing after a long day of partying with the Wild Wild Pussycats. Everyone had decided to just watch tv for the rest of the night. We were all sitting around it, on the floor and on our couches when an emergency broadcast took over the tv. "This is an emergency! We have just received word that our new number 1 hero, Endeavor and the number 2 hero, Hawks are currently in combat with another one of those Noumu creatures. The creature seems to be too much for our heroes, if any other heroes are listening to this, please, we need your assistance!" The voice on the broadcast said. When our screen changed back, everyone let out a gasp and we changed the channel to the news. It was showing a live feed of Endeavors battle with the Noumu. 

Endeavor was currently in combat with some new type of Noumu, and it was overpowering him. It was able to extend its arms and grab onto Endeavor, then pushing him straight through a building. The top half of that building then began to collapse, threatening to crush the people on the streets below. We could see Hawks take to the skies and use his quirk "Mighty Wings" to control his feathers to grab onto any falling civilians. As the building fell, Endeavor stood back up and let out an enormous burst of flame. "I'll incinerate you and this building, you mindless creature!" We heard him yell as the flame went right through the building and struck the noumu. Something was different this time, the Noumu didn't seem to be taking any damage, despite the flames being hot enough to disintegrate the falling building. And then something utterly shocking happened, the Noumu began to speak. "I-Intersting!" It said as it began to laugh. When Endeavor stopped shooting flames, the creature then began to mold its shape. Or, at least we thought so, but something worse happened, the creature was spawning more Noumu from its body. The Noumu were different from this new one though, they had a typical grey colour to their body. This new Noumu was black in colour, some sort of advanced species. "Hawks! Go take care of those other Noumu! I'll take care of this one!" Endeavor said as Hawks flew away. 

The Noumu began to laugh again, yelling out "Power...let me test my...new power on you!" The Noumu then used several different quirks at once. Its arms grew in length, metal teeth formed in its mouth and it was regenerating the damage it took from Endeavor before. "If you have the ability to regenerate, then i'll just burn you down until there's nothing left to heal!" Endeavor yelled as the flames on his body began to glow brighter and brighter. His heat level was rising, indicating the increase in his power. His flames were so hot, news reporters who were over 100 metres away could feel the heat coming off of his body. Then Endeavor let out his ultimate move: "Prominence Burn!" He yelled out as he unleashed a huge stream of blue fire. Before it struck the Noumu, the creature detached its head and threw it out of the way. The attack hit the body of the Noumu and in seconds, there was nothing left. Only the head of the Noumu remained, laughing at Endeavor. From its head, tentacles began to regrow and stretch out. The shot toward Endeavor, landing two shots on his chest and left eye. No one in my class could utter any words, we were all hoping and praying Endeavor could fight through it and defeat this threat. 

Endeavor laid on his back, on top of a pile of rubble. He was bleeding from his eye, it looked disturbingly similar to Todoroki's scar on his left eye. Endeavor laid there,, almost lifeless as the Noumu stood over him, regenerating its entire body. "Boring! A-Aren't there any s-stronger heroes!?" The Noumu yelled as it continued to laugh. It began to walk away, looking for other strong heroes to kill. Before it could exit the scene, Endeavor used his flames to lift himself up. He shot his whole body at the Noumu as it went to face the pissed off Endeavor. Endeavor readied his left fist, encasing it with more blue flames. He then went to strike the Noumu in the face but it was quick and dodged underneath his fist. It then shot out more tentacles and impaled Endeavor in the gut. It then threw the number 1 hero into a nearby building, causing the entire building to crumble. News reporters had no words to say, they were in too much fear to do anything. "We...we need to make sure all citizens...are able to escape." One reporter said shakingly. Citizens had begun to run, screaming in all directions since they knew their number 1 hero had been beaten. Other heroes had arrived on the scene, but they knew it was no use fighting the Noumu. If it was too much for Endeavor, then the best they could do was help with evacuating the citizens. "Our strongest hero has been defeated! Everyone in the city must evacuate before this creature continues its rampage!" Another reporter said before being interrupted by a random citizen. "Quit going on like that! Where the hell are you looking!? Don't just speak nonsense, now is not the time for these antics! Look! Can't you see!? His flames are still burning, aren't they!? Endeavors still alive! And he's fighting for us! Don't go broadcasting despair all over the world! Not when our symbol hasn't given up yet!" The person said as a camera zoomed back to the war zone. He was correct, a mountain of flames had formed and they were getting even hotter than before. 

The Noumu had taken to the sky as it formed wings, trying to avoid the flames. The now enraged Endeavor used his flames to rocket himself into the air, aimed at the Noumu. Endeavors flames were glowing brighter and brighter, changing from his blue flames to violet flames. "I may not be able to move my body much, but with my fire power i'll squeeze out every last drop! I'm thankful villain! Thanks to the pain, i'm still conscious! I will not fall here! My vision may be blurry, but I won't lose sight of my victory! I'll turn up the heat even more! Even further! Go beyond! I can see right through you monster. You've been taking special care of your head! It's be bad for you if it were to get injured wouldn't it!? I'm done trying to capture you! I'll surpass your reflexes, and turn that ugly face of yours into ashes! I refuse to be defeated!!" Endeavor screamed as the Noumu continued to flee from him. It didn't notice though, as right above it, Hawks was wielding one of his feathers. He swung the feather down, it was so sharp it cut right through the skin of the Noumu. He decapitated the creature, causing its head to fall to the ground. Endeavor was able to close the distance. He ignited his fist with the violet flames and rammed it into the Noumu's mouth. The Noumu was wailing in pain as it's entire head was burning from the inside out. It was attempting to regrow its body, trying to attack Endeavor. 

"His flames aren't hot enough! Come on Endeavor, go even beyond! Stand up and show us why your the number one hero!!" I yelled out as tears formed in my eyes. We all continued to watch this war as both Endeavor and the Noumu took flight again. Only this time, it was Endeavor who was causing them to fly, using his flames to shoot them higher and higher into the air. "Modified human, Noumu! Manufactured to hold multiple quirks at once, obsessed with the pursuit of strength!" Endeavor yelled out as the two of them soared even higher, surpassing the buildings around them. Endeavor's flames then turned white in colour. He was about to end it all. "You are just like me creature! From the past...or perhaps from an alternative future...now burn! Rest for all eternity! PLUS ULTRA! PROMINENCE BURN!!!!!!!!!" Endeavor cried as he unleashed his ultimate move once again. With his body glowing with white flames and his fist inside the Noumu's body, he was able to release his attack at point blank range. "You can't escape me this time, now burn!!" Endeavor yelled as he incinerated the Noumu, leaving nothing, not even ashes to flow through the wind. Everyone then watched as Endeavor crashed to the ground, exhausted from his battle. No one was around to catch him and he landed hard on the concrete. Hawks and some news reporters quickly arrived on the scene to help him out but when the dust cleared, Endeavor was standing, holding his fist high up high, and victorious.

"HE'S UP!! STANDING TALL, IS ENNNNDEAVOOOOOORRRR!!!!!" a reporter yelled as everyone, in my class and on the scene, began to cheer his name. "HE'S STANDING TALL FOR HIS VICTORY! Nay, HE'S STANDING TALL FOR HIS BEGINNING!!" another reporter cried as the hero became surrounded by citizens. Only Hawks approached the number one hero, and they both left without saying any words. 

As they were leaving, someone ahead of them blocked their path. "Hold on, there's someone standing in the middle of the street! Who is that? They need to get out of our heroes way so they can get to the hospital!" A reporter said as the cameras zoomed in to see who it was. "Hold up for just one minute. A lot of things went beyond my expectations, but well, let's do things in order. It's nice to meet you, I guess, Endeavor." The mystery person said as the camera finally zoomed in on their face. My scorch marks on my face began to burn again as it was shown to be Dabi who was in our heroes way. "What the hell is that bastard doing there!?" I thought to myself as I watched to see how things would unfold. 

"I caught wind that you were here, ya see?" Dabi said as he created a ring of blue flames around himself and the top 2 heroes. "More importantly, let's have a little chat. Opportunities like this don't come by too often." He said as Endeavor fell to his knees, exhausted from his previous fight. Hawks attempted to help him up but all of his feathers on his mighty wings had been used. He didn't have the strength to even lift up Endeavor. Dabi then let out a short laugh before saying "Hey, gimme a break would you? I only came to take the Noumu back. I mean, there's no way I could win...against the top two heroes when they're both on deaths doorstep!" Dabi yelled as he prepared to fire his flames at the heroes. Before he could though, the number 5 hero Miruko appeared and attempted to hit Dabi with a powerful stomp. She missed though and landed in front of him, guarding the exhausted heroes. "I saw the news and hopped right over here! Looks like things are really heating up, eh guys? You're one of those league of villains bastards, ain'tcha!? I'll kick you to kingdom come!" She said as she prepared to attack Dabi again. "And just when things were getting interesting." Dabi said as a black liquid began to form from his mouth. It looked similar to the grey liquid All for One used to warp me and Bakugou to his location. It was engulfing his whole body and it quickly began to shrink. "Catch you later, mister number 1 hero." Dabi said as he completely vanished. 

The reporters on the scene then cheered out even more, saying "Endeavor! And Hawks! They protected us to their last breath! They risked their very lives! And they won! Here stands the new top hero! And we all want nothing more but to tell him: Thank you!" The reporters said as tears formed in their eyes. Our whole dorm roared with happiness, as we all cheered on Endeavor to the very end. Even myself, for originally seeing this man as someone who was a monster, a threat to his own family, a villain, saw him as a true hero today.
