Sorry for not posting any new chapters during the whole week. I actually had planned to do another filler arc before the newest manga chapter came out but my RWBY series got in the way. It's progressing pretty nicely actually, still growing at a faster rate than any of my other series. Go check it out if you're interested. And as for this series, i'm back with a canon chapter. Not too often when we can get two canon chapters in a row these days. I guess that's what happens when I put this series on hold though. And also, based on the events that are happening in the manga, there may be, just may be some filler/canon chapters to feature evil Cry in the future. Enjoy!

A few days later, things were still in high-gear. It was the weekend now and I was back to training my quirk powers with Mr. Kan. However, this time, Monoma came along as well. I told him that if he wanted to learn how to use my quirk when he copied it, then he should probably train with us as well. We would train, starting from very early in the morning to the beginning of the afternoon. Mr. Kan would have to stop because he had other important matters to do at that time. And thankfully he did, because if he didn't, me and Monoma would've been dying all day from his exercises. Today, the snow had finally arrived. Everyone was excited because it meant that winter was literally just a few days away. Winter, actually, was my favourite season. The cold typically didn't bother me and I just enjoyed everything you could do in the playful snow. Everyone in our dorm was looking out the windows and watching it fall to the ground, smiling at what was to come. I decided I would get a better look and go outside for a walk. I asked if anyone wanted to come out with me but no one raised their hand. It didn't bother me at all, and my guess was that no one wanted to go outside into the cold. They'd rather stay warm inside our dorm. I left after putting on a winter jacket and fleece pants. I figured I would just walk around the dorms for a bit and take in the nice, cold air around me. I passed by class A's dorm first and I came to a quick stop when I saw All Might walking out with Bakugou and Todoroki. I walked over to say hi to them. "Hey, how's it going? I'm assuming since you're with these two, that means you're taking them to their remedial licensing class?" I asked All Might as he gave me a nod. "Yes. Present Mic was unavailable today so i'm taking these two to their last class. Care to join us and watch? I've actually been meaning to speak with you, young Cry." All Might said to me as I quickly agreed. "Absolutely. It gives me something to do for the rest of the day at least." I said as I started walking with the three of them. We entered All Might's car and drove to the license exam building. According to All Might, if Bakugou and Todoroki passed the test today, then they will finally receive their provisional hero licenses. Here's hoping they can pull it off. 

-Time Skip: 1 Hour- 

We had arrived at the license exam building. Todoroki and Bakugou went off to change into their hero costumes and take their final test. Me and All Might went into the stands so we could observe them. In no time, Gang Orca, the former number 10 hero, began all the examines final test for them to receive their provisional hero license. Me and All Might watched for a bit but All Might soon put his hand on my right shoulder. "Tell me, young Cry. How are you progressing with your new quirk?" All Might asked me as I faced him. "I've still got a long way to go if I want to master it. But, if I can pull off a new move I've been trying to do, then I may be able to expand what i'm capable of. Assuming I can do it in the first place though. It's proving rather difficult at the moment." I explained to All Might as he gave me a smile. "Very good. Glad to see you're working harder than ever. You remind me so much of young Midoriya, actually.  You're like the version of him that resides in class B." All Might said as I thanked him. "And seeing you two fight the other day, in the joint training exercises, it showed me just how far you two have really come. Midoriya is opening up the doors to One for All, and soon he'll have unlocked all its secrets since he'll be able to use multiple quirks. And you, I watched as you selflessly ignored the other concerns on the battlefield and went straight in to try and help Midoriya when he was in trouble. And even though you could've been greatly hurt, you were more focused on saving your friend. And even though you and you, your team, and your class lost in the end, i'd say you came out on top." All Might explained to me as I looked at him with a confused look. "What exactly do you mean? Class A was able to show better teamwork, skill, and power during those exercises. How could class B have come out on top?" I asked him. "Maybe not everyone in your class stood out but there were certainly a few that did. Obviously you in particular. And even Shinso. His determination was nearly unrivaled during that day. And I see a terrific future for him in the world of heroes. And as for you... the reason I wanted to speak with you today... is because I wanted to ask you something." All Might said as he took a deep breath. I waited in anticipation to hear what he was going to say. 

"Young Cry... had I have met you before young Midoriya... I absolutely, without question, would've offered you the power of One for All. And my question... is would you have accepted this mighty power?" All Might asked me as I was taken back a bit. It's not just everyday you get to hear the former number 1 hero say he would've given you his quirk. I put real thought into it, thinking about all the powers I had, all the experiences I went through. And then, I finally came up with my decision. "Sir, I greatly thank you for that offer, but I probably wouldn't have taken it." I said to All Might as he now looked at me curiously. "Oh? And why is that?" He asked me. "Well, in my opinion, a quirk isn't something that should be given to you. It's something that should be earned. I grew up with my powers, molding them and making them into what I wanted them to be. Sure it was tough to control some of them but I was able to make them my own. And even though I lost them, I was given a second chance. This new power that I have obtained may still be far out of my reach in terms of mastering it, but i'm not going to stop at this point. Whether it's a strong quirk or not, it's what I have right now, and i'm going to earn everything it gives me. And I know that One for All is a quirk that is meant to be passed on... but it just wouldn't feel right if I had taken it. I'm sorry, sir." I explained to All Might as he patted me on the back. "Well said, young Cry. Spoken like a real man. That's the kind of spirit that makes a terrific hero. And as I have told you before, it is your actions that show others who you want to be. And from what I've seen, you will be a great hero." All Might said to me as I thanked him. He then looked at me curiously again and asked, "So tell me this. If you know Midoriya has the power of One for All, it does indeed set him on a course to be the next top hero. Are you going to compete for that title, as well? The competition is pretty tough considering Bakugou and Todoroki are also factors to consider as well." All Might asked me as I chuckled a bit. "That's something that doesn't really concern me. I just want to be a hero who helps people in need, doing whatever I can to save them. In terms of the others: Todoroki, Bakugou, and Midoriya, i'm not going to try and compete with them. If they end up as the top three heroes, then i'll gladly stand aside and take the number 4 spot. It's just a number after all. And as you said, it's your actions that speak out to everyone about who you are and what you're capable of." I explained to All Might as he gave me a heartwarming smile. We continued with this conversation until the remedial license exam was complete. 

-Time Skip: 30 Minutes-

We were on our way back to U.A. Me and All Might sat in the front of his car while Todoroki and Bakugou occupied the back seat. Both of them were able to pass the exam and receive their provisional hero licenses. Meaning everyone in U.A's hero course could now take action and uphold the law as semi-pros. On our way back though, we all noticed that there was a commossion up ahead in the street. "What's going on over there?" Todoroki asked as he nearly climbed into the front of our car. "It's looked like an incident occurred." I explained to him as Bakugou started to look on curiously. "Where are the heroes?" He asked. "It's fine. Only 30 seconds have passed since it started..." All Might tried to explain as Bakugou started to yell. "In that case, i'm going!" Bakugou said as he looked for his hero license in his backpack. "What!? Evaluate the situation first!" All Might said as both Bakugou and Todoroki held their licenses in their hands. "I already have! I'll leave the evacuation to you, All Might!" Bakugou said as he opened the door and jumped out of the car. "You may not be able to fight, but we can." Todoroki said as he jumped out of the car too. "That may be true but it's only been 30 minutes since you got those licenses!" All Might tried pleading to them but they weren't listening. "How long it's been doesn't matter! We're heroes now!" Bakugou said as both he and Todoroki attacked the criminals that were just ahead of us. "Those two, always so reckless!" All Might said as I put my hand on his left shoulder. "That may be true but just let them do this. Their still on their high from receiving their licenses, so just let them do this. They need it. And besides, there'll be another person here to help. One with a little more experience in these kinds of situations." I said to All Might as I pulled out my own hero license. "Fine! I'll see to it that everyone is evacuated. You go and help them, and make sure they don't cause too much damage." All Might said as he ran around to warn people about what was going on. 

I ran after Todoroki and Bakugou and met them as they were in combat with some low level looking thugs. They were stealing purses and wallets off people. "Those wallets and purses don't belong to you!" Todoroki said as he sent a huge wall of ice towards the thugs. He froze them all in place, however, one of them seemed to be prepared. He began using his quirk, shooting some sort of liquid from these weird gauntlets on his hands. "Y'think a little bit of ice is gonna make me throw in the towel!?" The man said as he used the liquid to melt the ice around him and his friends. "We did our homework on the patrol patterns, 'round here, all to prep for today! It was all done for this moment in this part of town where there'd be plenty of suckers and not a single hero!" The leader of the thugs with the liquid quirk said to us. "Get a job, loser!" Bakugou yelled to him. "Sadly, your plans will come to nothing." Todoroki said to him. "Sadly!? High school brats sure are naive these days! Not to mention, dumb as rocks! Listen up! I can control carbonation! And getting all shook up like this, makes me feel really alive! I'm way more determined than a couple of kids on their way home from school! determined to run away, that is!" The thug said as he and his friends began to bolt away from us. "No you don't! Portals!" I said as I activated my quirk. My bodies veins glowed purple and appearing in front of me was a portal. The second I created in the path of the thugs. "Bakugou! Jump in and intercept these crappy thugs!" I said as he gave me an angry look. "Don't tell me what to do!" He said to me as he jumped through my portal. Bakugou met the thugs head on, swiping one hand across them and then delivering a series of explosions with his other hand. He sent them all flying backwards, sliding across the ice Todoroki made earlier. And, it looked like Bakugou managed to knock out most of the thugs with just those small explosions. All except for their leader though, who got back up. "Really!? So many of you are out cold, already!? I was trying to tone it down just enough to trip you up, but I guess you're ain't determined enough! Unless you're determined to feel pain!" Bakugou said as he launched himself right for the leader of the thugs. "Not a chance! I'm more than prepared to take down a chump like you!" He said as he aimed his gauntlets at Bakugou. He then fired a high-pressure water blast out of them, nearly hitting Bakugou in the shoulder and cutting off his arm. Bakugou landed on the ground as the thug tried to hit him again. "Bakugou, look out!" I said as I created two more portals, one underneath Bakugou and the other right next to me. Bakugou fell into the one below him and landed next to me and Todoroki. "What the hell do you think you're doing!? I had him where I wanted him!" Bakugou yelled to me but I just ignored him. 

"You damn, kids! I'll murder you all!" The thug said as he continued to shoot the high-pressure water at us. "We need a plan! Expand! Shield!" I said as my right fist expanded into a large circle. The thug was unable to cut through it since it was made of diamond. "Todoroki! I'm gonna set you up so you can take this loser down! Air Methane!" I said as the veins in my left arm began to glow now. I snapped my fingers and put my plan into motion. "What're you going to do?" Todoroki asked me as I looked right at him. "I'm filling the air around that guy with methane! Give it about another minute, then go in and set it off with your flames! That'll take him out for sure!" I said as Todoroki gave me a nod. "And what about me!? I wanna take that clown out to, ya know!" Bakugou said as I made two more portals, one behind him and the other near the thug. "Distract him so he doesn't figure out what's going on! When a minute has passed, get out of there!" I said as Bakugou just started yelling in my face again. "I said don't tell me what to do! I hate being the distraction!" He said as he jumped into the portal behind him. He appeared near the thug and he began launching himself around him, not directly trying to knock him out. The seconds were ticking away, and we were nearing our chance to finish this. "Get ready Todoroki! I'm gonna get you as close as possible to that guy! Portals!" I said as I created two more portals, one next to Todoroki and the other behind the thug. "Go now! It's time!" I said as he gave me and nod and then jumped through the portal. He emerged behind the thug and then he ignited his left side in a huge blaze. "Ultimate move: FlashFreeze HeatWave!" Todoroki yelled as he unleashed as huge channel of flames at the thug. Combined with the methane surrounded him, the thug was engulfed by a huge explosion that sent him crashing head first into one of Todoroki's ice walls. Todoroki then used his quirk to freeze the thug in place, ending the fight. 

"Heat eliminates Carbonation." Todoroki said as he looked down at the unconscious thug. "That's the same move you used against freakin' Deku during the sports festival!" Bakugou yelled to Todoroki. Todoroki seemed to ignore him and say "They've all been taken out, right? Anyone hurt?" "No, you idiot! You mockin' me!?" Bakugou loudly asked as All Might an unknown person appeared on the scene. "Are you three alright!?" All Might asked us as the hero next to him slid on his feet, right over to all of us. "Ohh!? You're U.A's infamous bad boy, aren't you!?" The hero asked Bakugou as he just started to get pissed off. "What's up with this guy?" Bakugou asked. The hero then looked at all three of us and said "Did you three handle all this by yourselves?" "Yes we did, sir. Those criminals were stealing purses and wallets from civilians. We apprehended all of them, I believe." Todoroki explained. "And what about all the stolen goods?" The hero asked us as Bakugou held out his right hand. "I kept them safe inside my grenade gauntlet. I pick-pocketed them back so they wouldn't be blown to bits." Bakugou explained as I looked over to All Might. "Thanks for evacuating all the people. We wouldn't have been able to go all out if they were still here." I said as All Might shook up my hair. "Just glad to see you all working together and taking down criminals." He said as Todoroki thanked him, and soon after, Bakugou did the same, just in a less nicer tone. The hero then slid over to us and hugged all three of us at once, squeezing us tightly. "Perfectly done!! It's hard to believe you kids are still students! Thank you! You're sure to be top heroes one of these days! You can just leave the rest to me, Slidin' Go!" The hero said, saying his name proudly. "He stopped hugging us though as a sound came from where the leader of the thugs was laying. We looked over and saw the gauntlets he was wearing crumble to pieces. "His gauntlets blew up?" I asked. "Sure did! Nothing good can come from using inferior black market products!" Slidin' Go said as he went to handle all the thugs. 

All Might came over to the three of us, putting his hands on top of Todoroki and Bakugou. You three did great, today. Especially you and Bakugou. Not only for receiving you licenses, but also taking action against these criminals." All Might said to Todoroki and Bakugou as they thanked him. I didn't feel hurt that they got more credit than me, I mean, they were the ones to actually take down the thugs. I just helped out by setting them up and controlling the battlefield. "Let's go home. It'll be dark soon and i'm sure you three must be hungry." All Might said as he started to walk back to his car. "Give me a minute. I've gotta melt the ice." Todoroki said as he went to help out Slidin' Go. "Yeah? Well I ain't helping." Bakugou said as he went with All Might. I wasn't surprised by his decision at all. I went with Todoroki though and we melted away the ice, allowing Slidin' Go to cuff the thugs. We then waved him off and went back to All Might's car. He treated us to dinner at a restaurant and after, we all went back to U.A. I'm sure everyone in my class was wondering where I had gone off to today. I can't wait to tell them my story.
