My Way
If any of you think Komori is super weak because she has a quirk called "mushroom," i'll admit that I was in the same boat for quite a while. But after reading all the way through the manga and doing a fair bit of research on each class B student, she's a freakin' monster. When she can literally choke you out by making mushrooms grow in your wind pipe, she's a serious threat. I'd make a strong debate that she's in the top 3 strongest students in her class. Fear the mushroom because it has no equal. But anyways, this filler arc is off to a good start. And i'll say this again, the way i'm determining who wins a fight is literally based on a coin toss. Heads for U.A, and Tails for Shiketsu. Each match will be as fair as possible, meaning Cry and others like Bakugou could end up losing their match. Enjoy!
The third match was underway, and it was between Kirishima from class A and a second year student named Mikaso from Shiketsu. The fight was not going in U.A's favor at this point as Kirashima was being pushed back by Mikaso. Mikaso's quirk lets her manipulate and control water that's in her vicinity. She brought a bottle of water onto the battlefield before their fight began which really confused us all. But we soon found out it was all part of her plan. Mikaso was waving a blob of water around in the air, attacking Kirishima constantly. She would harden the water and turn it to ice when she needed to defend herself and then she'd turn it to hot steam when she went on the offensive. Kirishima could do nothing but defend himself from her nearly invulnerable strategy. "That does it! If I can't beat you in this state, then maybe I can get to you when i'm at my max! Red Riot Unbreakable!" Kirishima yelled as his hardened skin turned even tougher. His rock like skin began to sharpen, becoming more dense and thick, turning Kirishima into a walking tank. His appearance looked more like a monster now though. "Do you really think hardening your body even more will stop me from beating you? You are sadly mistaken. Liquid whip!" Mikaso yelled as she waved her blob of water around in the air quickly. She struck Kirishima in the face, almost like she was actually using a whip. But Kirishima did not move from his spot and he started to laugh. "A physical attack like that won't break through this defense! I can take anything you throw at me now!" Kirishima said as Mikaso began to expand her water blob. It was becoming bigger, eventually growing to about 10 feet in diameter. "If physical attacks won't work, then i'll just sap your strength from you. Deep Six Coffin!" Mikaso said as she sent the huge bubble of water at Kirishima. It engulfed him and she made him rise into the air. Kirishima was having trouble escaping it, almost like she was forcefully keeping him inside it with water currents. We watched as Kirishima began to struggle for air. This move was very similar to my O2 discharge. And if it was like it, then I knew where this was going. "Kirishima reached out, trying to break his hand through the bubble. But as he went to reach, his arm went limp and then so did his body. Mikaso then opened up the bubble and Kirishima fell to the ground. The official came running over to inspect Kirishima. We could all see he wasn't using his quirk anymore because he looked normal again. We already knew what was going to be said. "Eijiro Kirishima is unable to continue! The winner is Burnee Mikaso! That's one point for Shiketsu High! The score is now 2-1 for Shiketsu!" The official announced as the crowd began to cheer.
"Damn it! What's that hard head think he's doing!? He could've gotten out of that no problem!" Tetsutetsu said in rage. With his and Kirishima's quirks being so similar, I guess it wasn't surprising for him to say that. If he thought he could get out of the bubble, then of course he would expect Kirishima to get out too. "It's alright, Tetsutetsu. We're only down 1 point and it's still early in the competition. We have time to come back." I said, trying to calm him down. "I know that, but we're nearing the halfway point. If we don't pull ahead soon, then we might start to crack under the pressure." Tetsutetsu said to me. "We know that, ribbit. We're all trying to stay calm and focus on the matches to come. Who knows who's going to be next. And whoever it is, they'll have to work double time to tie this whole thing up, ribbit." Asui said as I agreed with her. "It doesn't matter who I have to fight! Just let me go out there so I can blow them away!" Bakugou yelled but I chose to ignore him. Todoroki did the same as he walked over to me. "It may still be early, but I've noticed that they've been sending out mostly second years. If majority of Shiketsu's fighter are in the second year, then that'll make things hundreds of times more difficult for us. They have a whole years worth of experience ahead of us and have had more time to expand and sharpen their skills. Working double time won't be enough. We all have to fight as if this is a real crisis situation... as if our very lives depended on winning this fight. And if we can't do that... then we will lose." Todoroki said as I just stared at him. "I don't know whether to agree with you or be concerned from what you've just said. I'll go with the first one though. Whether we've been in a real situation or not, this is our time to stand out, show our skills, and win. We can't let everyone down when we know they're right behind us, cheering us on." I said as everyone agreed with me. Except for Bakugou of course.
"Alright! Repairs to the arena have been completed and we can now move on to the fourth match! Lets find out who it's gonna be this time!" Present Mic announced as we all looked at the screen in our waiting room. The images of all the remaining combatants for each school began to rotate and soon we would find out which of us was next. The Shiketsu side was stopping first, and it revealed our next opponent. "Representing Shiketsu High in the fourth match, it's Luke Bronzz!" Present Mic said as the image showed a boy with short blonde hair, a red and yellow blazer, and of course, the signature Shiketsu cap on his head. Our images then came to a stop and showed which of us was up next. "And for U.A, it's Neito Monoma!" Present Mic announced as we all looked at him. "Well... I knew my time would come eventually. I just didn't think it'd be so soon. Wish me luck everyone." Monoma said as he went to leave the waiting room. But as he stood at the doorway, he stopped and turned around. "Cry, do you mind coming with me for a sec?" He asked me as I gave him a nod. I walked out of the room with him to the entrance of the stadium. I couldn't go any further though since I wasn't fighting. "Time to see if all that hard work has really paid off, wouldn't you agree?" Monoma asked me as he held his right hand out to me. "I figured you'd want to do this. Just be sure to make every second count. And are you sure you don't want me to give you any tips for using it?" I asked as I shook hands with Monoma. "Nope. I'm going to be using it my way. I'll win one for U.A and class B." Monoma said as he walked into the arena. I then walked back into the waiting room and stared at our screen.

"Going by the hero name: "Glass," Luke Bronzz has made a name for himself a Shiketsu using his "Mirror" quirk! Can Neito Monoma, the Phantom Thief, copy his opponents quirk and use it against him!? We're about to find out people!" Present Mic said as both combatants walked onto the battlefield. They took ready positions as Present Mic began the countdown. "3... 2... 1... Begin!" He yelled as Monoma went on the offensive. He began to make his bodies veins glow purple, indicating he was activating the quirk he copied from me. "Gateway portals!" Monoma said as he made two portals appear on either side of himself. "Flame geyser!" He yelled as he launched two streams of fire at Luke. "How pitiful..." Luke said as he held up his right hand. A mirror appeared in front of his body. The flames struck the mirror and were instantly reflected back at Monoma. "Portal!" Monoma said as he made a third appear in front of his own body. The flames entered it and Monoma closed the portal, but left the first two open. "Hey, isn't that your quirk, Cry?" Tetsutetsu asked me. "Yep. Monoma's been coming to my special training sessions with Mr. Kan. He wanted to learn how to use it in case he had to in a situation. It's been harder for him because he doesn't have a point on his body to produce anything, but he's been using it his own way pretty good so far. He uses the portals as the emitter for whatever he wants to create." I explained as we both looked back at the screen, continuing to watch the fight. Monoma continued to fire flames at Luke but the result would just end up the same. Monoma even tried making portals all around Luke's body, hitting him from the sides and even from behind. But just like before, Luke would make mirrors and reflect them back.
"Let's switch things up then!" Monoma said as he put both of his hands on the ground. "Earth shift! Gravity fists!" Monoma said as two large chunks of the stadium began to float in the air. They molded into the shapes of giant hands, nearly the size of Kendo's when she used her quirk. Monoma was using my quirk to control the giant hands movements whenever he moved his own hands. He sent them both flying at Luke as Luke created another mirror in front of him. "No matter what you do, it will just end the same. You cannot touch me." Luke said as he reflected the concrete fists back at Monoma. "Portals! Redirection!" Monoma said as he made two new portals, one in front of him and one above Luke. The fists went into the one in front of Monoma and came through the second, crashing down at Luke. Luke jumped out of the way before he could get hit though. Monoma then made the fists fly back over to him as he prepared for his next attack. "He's gotta finish this quick. He's running out of time." I thought to myself. "Matter reconstruction! Fire and water!" Monoma said as he snapped his fingers and turned one of the huge fists into a ball of fire, and the other into a ball of water. He sent the two balls flying into the centre of the arena. "Now collide!" Monoma said as he brought both of his hands together. The two balls crashed into each other and created a thick cloud of steam that covered up the whole battlefield. It was hard to see but we could just make out where the combatants were from our view.
"You think you can hide from me? I'll simply reflect all this steam away and find you in an instant." Luke said as he made 4 mirrors appear. One in front of him, two to the sides, and one behind him. The steam touched the mirrors and it bounced away, blowing away in the wind and clearing up the arena. However, Monoma was nowhere to be seen when the steam disappeared. "What!? Where'd he go! He was just in front of me!" Luke questioned as we all could see what was going on. Where Monoma had stood, there was a portal on the ground. We then looked into the air and saw Monoma falling towards Luke. Luke caught on too and looked up at Monoma. Monoma was falling at him quickly and he had two portals open on both of his sides. "I figured out the weakness to your quirk! You can make your mirrors appear in all four directions but you can't make one appear right above you! That's why you didn't make one when I sent my gravity fists crashing down onto you!" Monoma said as Luke gasped in surprise. "And now it's all over! Frozen Shockwave!" Monoma said as he shot lightning out of one of his portals. As he predicted, Luke did not make a portal above him and he got stunned by the lightning bolt. "Now freeze!" Monoma said as he sent a blizzard flying out of the other portal. Luke became engulfed in the snow and he was having a hard time moving. Within mere seconds, Luke's body began to freeze from the bottom up. Pretty soon, his body was completely frozen from the shoulders down. Monoma landed on the ground safely and he walked up to his opponent. "Here's a lesson for all you Shiketsu hero wannabes: Don't mess with U.A and class 1-B. Otherwise this is what's going to happen." Monoma explained as the official came running over. "Luke Bronzz is unable to continue! Neito Monoma is the winner! U.A receives one point! The score is now 2-2! Both schools are tied!" The official announced as the crowd went wild again.
Monoma returned to the waiting room and we cheered for him. "Looks like you're not having any problems with controlling your creations. You were able to keep calm and focused during the whole match!" I said as I gave Monoma a light punch on the arm. "Hey, thanks. And thanks for teaching me how to use it. But I've gotta say, it's much harder to use it than I thought when you're in an actual fight. And i'm pretty sure I almost hit my time limit before I finished off Luke. I just barely squeaked out the win." Monoma said as he chuckled. "That doesn't matter now! You tied it all up and gave us the spark we needed! Man, I just wanna go next!" Tetsutetsu roared as we all laughed. He was right though. Monoma was able to masterfully use my quirk his own way and win the fight with it. He showed everyone that he's not weak at all and that he can easily hold his own in a fight. And best of all, he tied up the score between U.A and Shiketsu. He gave us the boost we needed and now it was up to the rest of us to continue from where he left off. And i'm sure the question on all of our minds was, "Who's going to go next?"
