Mission Begin!
That last chapter was way more writing than I thought it was going to be. But I had to include every important detail so you wouldn't get lost. I hope everything is as clear as it can be. If so, enjoy!
Until Eri's whereabouts can be determined, we were all on standby. For the students, it was back to school for the time being. Me and Tetsutetsu were in class, training our quirks together. We were forbidden from telling anyone about our internships though as it could lead to others being hurt or involved in the operation. And it wasn't just us that had to be silent, the four students from class A also had to remain quiet as well. I'm sure Bakugou will try and get them to spill the beans. Aizawa told us after the meeting had ended that other than the big three, the six first year students would most likely have small roles in the operation. We weren't going to back down though, we all wanted to help out in any way that we could. But our greatest concern with this mission was the shadow brought down by the league of villains. There was the chance that they were indeed working together with the cleansers, and if so, it could be a crisis to the entire country. However, all we could do was wait, and hope that the league didn't cooperate with them. Me and Tetsutetsu continued our training, preparing our skills and our minds for what was going to come.
-Time Skip-
Two days later, late a night, me and Tetsutetsu received messages on the hero network. We were allowed access to it since we were a part of the operation. Eri's location had be found, she was at the eightfold cleansers headquarters. We both left our dorm, meeting up with the class A students and soon after, the big three. We all took the train to Nighteye's office and met with the rest of the pro heroes. The information was already given to them before we all arrived, so all we had to do was suit up and wait for our instructions. Nighteye said a speech before we all left to begin our mission. "Whether we can change the events of the future, I do not know. But what I do know is that we can change the past. That is, we can change how we interpret the past and how we look at it. Now show us the way heroes! This time, we will not fail!" Nighteye said as we all cheered.
-Time Skip-
An hour had passed since we left Nighteye offices. Every hero had amassed at the entrance to a large building. Behind us was a large battalion of S.W.A.T troopers, ready to take down any villains that appeared. We were told that underneath the home of the eightfold cleansers, there was a complex, underground facility. Somewhere inside was our target, Eri. All of the quirks that the cleansers possessed were registered in our databases. We were also constantly told to give our positions so that if we were to face one of the cleansers, others would know of our whereabouts and stop the cleansers from concealing themselves. I stood with Tetsutetsu and my mother, Wrath Queen. We were all on standby, waiting for our infiltration to begin. Nighteye spoke out to all of us, giving us clear orders. "If you see even the slightest hint of suspicious behavior or resistance, please deal with it immediately! Our opponents are Yakuza types who, at the very least, survived long enough to this day. So I want every one of you fulfilling your roles to the utmost without letting your guards down for a single second."
The police chief went to speak into an intercom device that would notify the cleansers that we were all here. With some luck, they might surrender without a fight. The chief began to speak into the device but before he could even get three words out, something broke down the front gate to the building. It was one of the higher-ups of the organization. He was huge, maybe ten feet tall. He caused several of the policemen who were standing by the gate to go flying into the air. Me and Midoriya took action, leaping into the air with with our quirks. We caught all of the policemen and brought them down to a safer area so they wouldn't get hurt. We then returned to fight this large enemy. Ryukyu took over the situation first as she activated her quirk. She began to grow and eventually, took the form of a giant dragon. "I'm sure my mom wishes she could do that." I thought to myself as Ryukyu combated the new villain. She easily overpowered him, holding his arms in place as she struck him with her claws. "The Ryukyu team will take care of this villain! Everyone else, head inside!" Ryukyu yelled out as everyone complied. Only her, Hado, Uraraka and Asui stayed to fight the villain. As much as I wanted to help them, I needed to focus on what was more important, saving Eri.
Everyone remaining entered the building. We encountered some more members of the organization but they were low level thugs. We took care of them quickly before eventually coming to a stop. We came to the end of the building, and there was nothing but a wall and a vase. Nighteye took the lead and started where the vase was sitting. He removed it and took out some fake floor boards, revealing some sort of mechanism. He then pushed down on one of the floor boards still in place, opening up a hidden door in the wall. Out from the entrance came a few more low level guards. Centipeder and Bubble Girl took them out quickly and told Nighteye that they and some other policemen will guard the entrance. Nighteye nodded in agreement and soon after, everyone who was left entered into the underground tunnel system.
We made our way down a staircase but, when we reached the bottom, there was nothing but a dead end. Just a wall in front of us. Mirio then took the lead and said "I'll go take a look. I think I know what's going on here." He activated his quirk and walked right through the wall. After a few seconds, he reappeared to inform us that the wall was just thrown up to block our path. It was very thick though so we needed a lot of force to break through it. Kirishima and Tetsutetsu then stepped forward and activated their quirks. "They're taking us too lightly if they think this'll be a hindrance!" Kirishima yelled out as the two of them rammed their fists into the wall. They broke right through, revealing a long hallway spreading out to our left and right. The heroes went through the hole in the wall first, trying to see if any more villains were waiting in the hallway. As we were inspecting, the walls and floor began to twist, almost like it was a crazy funhouse. The hole that Kirishima and Tetsutetsu created was soon sealed off, blocking the police's path. Only the heroes remained. "It's one of the leaders of the cleansers. He's slipped into the concrete and is warping its shape. It's known as Mimicry. He's making this hallway a living labyrinth!" Fatgum explained as our path forward was becoming smaller and smaller. Aizawa was unable to use his quirk to stop this from happening as the villain was nowhere in sight. He needed to actually see the person to disable their quirk. "This is turning into a situation where it won't just be the girl that we may not save. We may also be disposed of!" I thought to myself as the walls continued to shift. Mirio took the lead again, saying "No matter how much he warps our passage, as long as I know the right direction, I can get there! They're just buying time, because they know as well as we do that this is a race! I'll go on ahead!" Mirio then went straight through another wall, taking the lead in finding Eri.
When Mirio left, the floor opened up beneath everyone. It swallowed us whole and we all fell to the next floor. Everyone got back onto their feet. It seemed that the walls were not shifting in this room that we were in. But even though they weren't shifting, we weren't any safer. Three higher-ups of the cleansers were here in the room with us. "Well, well, well, what have we got here? The authority of the government, fallen from the sky?" One of the men said. Each were prepared to fight, and so were we, but before anyone made a move, Amajiki spoke up. "Looks like you're itching for an all out war here? I'll show you the strength of a pro. To achieve our goal, The only one who's needed to take down these time-eating pawns is me!" He roared with determination. "He must've gotten over his shyness. Better time than ever if you ask me!" I thought to myself. The rest of the heroes took this as a sign to keep pushing forward. This was Amajiki's job, and he had to finish it. We all passed by him and made our way to the exit of the room. We went through and ran through another hallway.
We continued down this path for a while, but suddenly the villain from before, the one who was warping the walls, attacked us again. He morphed one of the walls to reach out and engulf Aizawa. They probably went after him because he posed the biggest threat to their leader Chisaki. A wall opened up behind Aizawa as he was being pushed away. They were trying to separate him from everyone else. Fatgum had none of this though as he jumped in and pushed Aizawa away. I could see Tetsutetsu and Kirishima also had this plan as they jumped in the way as well. "No, why did you guys go in with him!? You're supposed to stay with the group!" I thought to myself. I knew that I couldn't help them now. The wall was sealed off and the villain for some reason stopped shifting the walls. He probably doesn't know he got the wrong person, maybe he thinks Aizawa is the one he really got. Everyone stood by for only a moment though as we quickly got back on track, trying to find Eri.
After a few minutes, the villain must've realized he got the wrong target and the walls started to warp again. They were liquefying, shooting out to try and grab Aizawa. I saw one come out of the ceiling. No one else saw it appear so I knew it was up to me to save him. He was more important than me as he was our greatest weapon. I jumped to him and pushed him out of the way. I was engulfed by the liquefied wall. My mother attempted to reach out to me but as we went to grab each others hands, the floor beneath me opened up. I fell through, just before I grabbed onto my mothers hand. I landed on the floor below and the wall above me was sealed up. I was alone. No one else was here and when I tried relaying my position to everyone else, there was nothing but static. "Great, now what am I supposed to do?" I said to myself. "Wait, I can use my super hearing. Maybe I can hear the others above me. Or maybe I can hear Eri. I could find her this way!" I thought as I activated my hearing. I could indeed here something, but it was just footsteps. No one was talking. I figured it was the group above me running down the hall. I followed the noise, hoping it would connect us at some point.
After following the sound of footsteps for what seemed forever, I finally rounded the corner and came to another long hallway. What was waiting for me there made me shake in fear. I saw two men standing about 40 feet from me. One of them who was wearing a white coat and a elongated mask was holding a little girl in his arms. "That must be Eri, which means..." I said to myself as I looked to the other man. He had an elongated mask on too. He was wearing a green jacket and a white tye. But I recognized him from the image that Nighteye showed everyone. "...that must be the leader, Chisaki!"
