Decided to work out Cry and Kendo's problems earlier than planned. I originally had them fix it during the PLE but since the last chapter was on the shorter side, I decided to add it in. Now we move on the the PLE, and things will heat up once again. Lastly, i'll be making up a few more OC's for this arc only. They will be students from Shiketsu High. Enjoy!

Before we all knew it, the day of the PLE was here. All of exited our bus and stood before a large dome shaped building, almost like a football or soccer stadium. Mr. Kan spoke to us and explained what will happen after the PLE. "If you can pass this exam, you'll all gain your licenses. You won't be babies anymore, you will have learned to run. You'll be semi-pros. I fully expect all of you to do your best." He said. "We'll do our best sir!" We all said before heading to the main entrance. On our way, someone had begun to speak to me. "So you're the guy who was taken by the so-called league of villains?" The voice said. I turned to see who had said it. I didn't recognize this person, they were dressed in a white shirt, blue pants and a black cap with an "S" on it. It was a boy, probably around the same age as me. Standing behind him was a girl, dressed in the same clothing. The boy began to speak to me again, "You must've been so scared and helpless, but if it were me, I would've fought back. And you won the sports festival? Give me a break, UA sure has some weaklings!" This person said before I marched over to him and met him eye to eye. "First of all, we're not weak. I could beat you down right here if I could, but that would get me disqualified from even entering the exam. Plus, i'm sure you're well aware from the news of what happened that night. So back off, I don't need a reminder." I said as I glared at him. "Like I said, weaklings. We're from Shiketsu High, in the east of Japan. We're compared to UA as being their equals, but today, we'll change that and show who's better. Right Sunomie!?" The boy said to the girl behind him. She nodded her head in agreement but didn't say anything back. She must've been shy. The cocky boy then continued speaking to my face. "I'm Kashi Tombaka, and this is Bretsu Sunomie. We're here for the PLE too, so watch your backs. If we cross paths, we'll crush you." He said as the two of them left and entered the building. Kendo and Honenuki were both behind me, watching the dispute. "What a weirdo. he probably would've been shaking in his boots if he were taken by villains." Honenuki said. "Are you alright Cry?" Kendo asked. "Yeah, i'm fine. I just didn't need to be reminded of that night, when I lost some of my powers." I said as I clenched my fists. "Don't let him get to you. Come on, let's head inside. We've gotta make it to the orientation." Kendo said as I nodded and we all headed into the exam area. 

After changing into our hero costumes, every student from each school went into a gymnasium looking room. There was well over a thousand of us, some stiff looking competition too. I looked around to look for obvious quirks but that was cut short when someone appeared on the stage in front of us. "Welcome everyone to the provisional license exam. I'm sure you're all eager to begin but first, we must go over the rules. All 1500 of you will compete in several exercises and from those who move on to the next exercises, only a select few will receive high enough marks to earn your provisional licenses. The first test will be based around your speed. The first one hundred of you to pass will move on to the next test. Those of you who do not make it in time, well, better luck next time I guess. These are the rules of the first test." The man said as he held up a ball and a target. "Each examine will receive six balls and three targets. The targets can go anywhere on your person as long as it's an exposed area. If one of these balls makes contact with a target, it will light up, indicating that you have been hit. If all three targets on you are lit up, consider yourself knocked out. Even if someone else has lit up the first two targets, but another lit up the third, whoever lit up the third will get the point for themselves. If you can eliminate two people, you will have made it to the next test." He explained as we all received our balls and targets. As they were being handed out, and exit opened up. We all stepped through it and came to an enormous arena. It had different environments all over it, a city zone, cliffs, water, everything for everyone here. "I'm sure each of you have your preferred combat environment, so run wild. Now, disperse yourselves, the first test will begin in five minutes." He said as we all ran in different directions. 

The five minutes quickly passed and a buzzer was sounded off. The PLE had begun. I had attached my targets all to my front side so it would be easier for me to intercept any balls that get near them. Two were on my chest and one on my leg. I sprouted my dragon wings and took off to the sky to look for easy targets to hit. Other people had the same idea though as I quickly ran into other examines. "Where do you think you're going? We know all aboout you and your abilities. Just give up now bud and go home!" A group of people yelled to me. There was about five of them, more than I could handle at this time. I turned my back to them as flew away but they could all fly too and pursued me. Some had wings, others used what looked like air to move through the sky, all I know is that one of them was closing in. "You're too slow!" The person yelled out to me as I continued to fly away. We were making a full circle around the arena. The person soon closed in and grabbed onto my foot. "Gotcha, now to hit one of your targets!" They said as they tried to hit one. I grabbed his arm as he reached to hit my targets and pulled them in front of me. "I don't think so. It takes more than speed to beat me." I said as I stared at the person. I grabbed onto the hand that had the ball in it and I also focused my single point force into the palm of my hand. It was more than enough to over power him as I redirected his hand and used it to hit himself. "There goes one target, and now two." I said as I did indeed you himself to take out two targets. "Now for the third!" I said as I reached for one of my balls to hit his last target. I had to quickly let go of the person to reach one of my balls. This let them hit one of my targets on my chest. I took out my ball and used my free hand to grab their hand with the ball in it. "Sorry, but it's over for you." I said as I hit his last target. The three targets flashed and said "Examine eliminated. Please exit the exam zone." I let go of the person and they flew to the ground, head down in shame. I continued my flight as there were still others who were flying right behind be. 

 Minutes had passed and I still wasn't able to shake the people behind me. More had joined them, but for some reason they were night fighting each other. They chose to go after me, I guess because they knew what I was capable of. "They must know how to counter my abilities." I thought to myself. As I was thinking of a plan of attack, I looked to the ground to see if I could spot some of my other classmates. I was able to spot Shoda and Komori, it looked like none of their targets had been hit yet but there were plenty of people surrounding them. I couldn't fly in and get them out of their though as I could lead the people behind me to them, and if I did grab them, they wouldn't be in any different situation than they're in right now. While I was flying overhead, trying to avoid the people behind me, something hit me while I wasn't looking. It slammed into my chest and when I turned my head, I saw that it was a large boulder. It took the wind out of me and I had to land so I could catch my breath. I looked for a safe spot to touch down and I was able to find one. "I hope i gave those guys the slip." I said to myself but someone else was just around the corner. "Sure you may have given them the slip, but now you have to deal with us!" A familiar voice said to me. From around a buiding came the two students from Shiketsu high. "Nice to see you again UA, oh, but it looks like you've been hit already. It would be a shame if we were to finish you off, but we're going to! Sunomie, let's finish him off!" Tombka yelled out as they both activated their quirks. Tombaka began to levitate a nearby boulder, he was probably the one who hit me out of the sky earlier. Sunomie began to produce spikes from her body. "So what, are you two a shield and sword duo?" I asked as Sunomie responded to me. "You could say that, but you won't have to worry about it because you're about to be knocked out." She said as she grew a creepy smile. "Well then bring it on. I've got a bone to pick with you two anyway." I said as I cracked my fists. 

Tombaka made the first move and launched a boulder at me. I countered by focusing my single point force into the knuckles of my right hand. We clashed and I reduced the boulder to dust. "That's new. You must've manifested it before the exam!" Tombaka said as Sunomie passed him. "It can't guard one of my attacks though." She said as she made a fist and created spikes out of it. "If it can block cement, surely it can block a steel spike." I thought to myself as we clashed fists. Her spike dug into the dot on my fist but not as deep as I though. My fist carried more power over as I sent Sunomie flying backwards but Tombaka was able to catch her with a boulder. "Nice trick UA, not good enough though, we're still going to win." He said as he levitated an enormous boulder over his head. It made me think back to training camp, when Mr. Kan would have me focus my kinetic energy. I figured this situation was no different from that. I put on my goggles to see how much energy I had taken in. The reading said 60,031 pounds of force, possibly not enough to break the boulder. I knew I had to close the distance with them but that boulder would make it hard to get around to them. I had to go straight threw, so I bet everything on my new move. I released the kinetic energy into my body and then focused it into my right arm. I then generated the single point force into my right fist and prepared to meet his attack with my ultimate move. "Trying to break my boulder with that attack again!? Sorry but you're not strong enough! Take this UA scum!" He said as he threw the boulder at me. I jumped straight at it and prepared my fist. I threw my punch and called out my ultimate move "Shatter Strike!" and I destroyed the boulder that was before me. I indeed went straight through, shocking both Tombaka and Sunomie in the process. "How could he destroy a boulder that big? He can't be that strong can he Tombaka!?" Sunomie asked him. Tombaka had no words though, he just stood there in shock. I continued towards both of them, and Sunomie retaliated by trying to stop me. We clashed fists once again but the kinetic energy was still coursing through my body. The impact sent her crashing into Tombaka, both of them landing hard against a rock that was sticking out of the ground. I seemed to have knocked them out as neither of them were moving. I took this chance to eliminate them before anyone else could. I took out a ball and hit their targets. The rules did say you had to knock out two people, but they never said only two. 

Suddenly, my targets lit up, and a voice could be heard. "Congratulations! You have made it to the next test. Please exit the exam zone and head to the nearest waiting area." It said as I complied. Now it was only a matter of waiting for my other classmates to finish. "I hope they can all succeed here and make it to the next round too." I said to myself as I left Tombaka and Sunomie laying on the ground and headed toward the waiting area.
