I Recognize You
Gonna be taking a short break from writing soon. I'll be going back to college to start my next semester, and i'll be moving in to my own room at the same time. The break will be very short, I promise. Once again, thank you for reading if you've made it this far. I've noticed there's 2 or three people who have been reading all of my chapters, even the ones I just release. I especially give a huge thanks to them for being interested in this series. And lastly, if you have any comments, whether it be your own ideas for this series or your own OC, please feel free to leave them in the comments below. Enjoy!

"You're outnumbered 3 to 1! Just give up now!" The boy with the tape arms said as he, Izuku and Uraraka began to slowly walk up to me. "If it's 3 on 1, then this is going to be fun." I said with a chuckle as one of them made the first move. Uraraka started to run at me and like before, she reached her hand out to touch me. I figured she had to make contact with her fingers to activate her quirk so my best move was to avoid her hands at all times. I took a step back, avoiding her hand and making her lose balance. I took this chance to grab her wrist, and as I did, I generated 50,000 psi into my arm. I began to turn my body, taking Uraraka with me, and when I did a full 180, I let go and threw her back over to her friends. Izuku caught her but they both slid a few feet backwards on the ground. The boy with the tape arms was next. He raised his arm up and from his elbows, tape appeared and flew over to me. I raised my right arm up so the tape would catch it instead of my body. Sure enough, the tape wrapped around my forearm and elbow. "Midoriya! Uraraka! Go after him now! I've got a good hold of him!" He said as I started to laugh. "I think it's the other way around, kid! Let's take you for a spin!" I said as I amped up the psi in my arm to 80,000. I increased the strength of my other arm too and took hold of the tape that was wrapping itself around my right arm. I started to turn while pulling on the tape, whipping the kid around in circles. I could hear him screaming, and yelling for someone to help him. I decided to stop throwing him around by pulling hard on the tape, making it flew towards a rock wall. The kid flew past me and landed head first into the wall. I ripped the tape off of my arm and started to walk over to him. Part of his helmet was broken and I could see his lower lip was bleeding. He wasn't facing me so I was able to approach him fairly easily. I grabbed his shoulder and spun him around, then shoving him against the wall. "Oh look, you're bleeding. Here, let me clean that up for you." I said as I dragged one of my fingers across his lip.
"Get away from him!" Izuku said as he had snuck up on me without me noticing. I had no time to react as by the time I turned my head to see where he was, I was met with a steel-toed kick to the face. I was sent flying into a boulder. I landed hard on my back, but I was able to get up before they made another attack. "Well that hurt." I thought to myself as I looked back over to Izuku and the tape kid. Izuku was glowing green again and he leaped over to me with blinding speed. When he got close enough, he started to do a roundhouse kick and I countered by putting my arms together to cover my face. He made contact with me and made me slide against the ground a few feet away from him. He then went for another kick and I went to grab his foot but before I could, tape began to wrap around my hand. I now had no time to react and Izuku landed a straight kick to my gut. I stood my ground but I fell to my knees from the pain. "It's over. Give up and let one of us eliminate you." Izuku said to me but I wasn't having any of it. "I generated 45,000 psi into my left arm and went to hit Izuku with an uppercut. I landed my fist into his jaw and I sent him a few feet into the air. I took this chance to rip the tape of of my other hand and go after the tape kid. "You're getting real annoying, you know? I think it's best I eliminate you first." I said as I began to walk over to him. "Uraraka! Now!" He yelled which made me start to look around for her. I couldn't see her anywhere around me, so I figured she was hidden behind a boulder. That theory was wrong though as within seconds, I felt a hand touch the top of my head. I looked up and saw Uraraka doing a one-handed hand stand on top of me. "How the hell did you get up there!?" I said as I went to grab her arm. "The same way you're about to!" She said to me as she pulled my hair and effortlessly threw me into the air. I felt weightless, almost like there was no gravity around me. "How the hell do I get out of this!?" I thought to myself as I saw a familiar green blur speed past me. I had no control over my movements, it was too hard to turn my body in any direction. I saw Izuku quickly making his way right towards me but I just couldn't find the strength to turn and face him. "We may not eliminate you, but this is more than enough to satisfy me! This is for hurting my friends!" He yelled to me as he swung his leg at me. It struck me in the chest and the impact sent me flying across the stadium. I was now headed to the city section of the stadium, and I wasn't losing any momentum. I was nearing a large building and based on my trajectory, I was going to crash into it. I was getting closer and closer and I began to brace myself for impact.
I crashed through a window and landed hard into a wall, making huge cracks in it. "Shit, that really hurt!" I said as I slowly made my way up. I hadn't taken a look around yet but the room I was in felt really cold for some reason. I brushed off some dust on my pants and raised my head up to see there were four other people in the room with me. "Who are you and why did you come crashing through that window!?" One of them asked me. She had long black hair, in the form of a pony tail. She was also wearing a slightly revealing red and white hero costume.
I took a look around to get a look at the others before answering her. The largest person wore a face mask and had several arms that looked like tentacles. He was holding a girl behind his back with one set of his arms. She looked like a frog with the gear she was wearing. And judging by the temperature, if she has a frog related quirk, then the large guy must be giving her warmth with his arms. The last was a girl with black hair, wearing blue headphones and a black leather jacket. But something felt weird when I saw this person, almost like I new them from somewhere. I finally looked back the girl in the red outfit and I said "Look, it's a long story. I was in combat, trying not to get eliminated and someone with a strength boosting quirk hit me all the way up here. And seeing as i'm clearly outnumbered here, it's not the best idea for me to fight you. I give you my word I won't turn on you, and in return, we form an alliance and pass this exam. Agree?" I said as I put my hand out. The girl put some thought into it and said "We may not have much of a choice. We've been cornered by a large group of highly intelligent students. They're through that door right there." She said as she pointed to the door. "They know that the four of were in here, and they've been strategically making moves to force me to use my quirk. With your help, we may be able to surprise them and push back. So, I agree to your alliance." She said as she shook my hand. "Got a plan then?" I asked her as she started to think again. "The enemy is trying to force me to use my quirk. I can turn lipids in my body into inanimate objects. And when they feel that i'm running low on energy, that's when they'll make their move. I think I know what we have to do. Just give me a second..." She said as she pulled a book out from the back of the utility belt she was wearing. She scoured through it and found what she was looking for. "Everyone, bear these conditions for just a few more minutes. When i'm finished, we can start our attack!" She said as she opened up her costume to reveal just a little too much to my liking. I turned away and when she put her costume back on, I turned back around and saw she made noise cancelling headphones. She handed us all a pair and we put them on. The girls back then started to glow and something massive was coming out of it.
After a few minutes, her creation was complete. She had made an enormous amplifier. "Jiro, use your earphone jack to send soundwaves through this amp." The girl with the red outfit said to the one wearing headphones. "Where do I know that name from? And why does she look so familiar? I've never met her before." I thought to myself as I put on the noise cancelling headphones. I stood by the door that had the enemy on the other side. I watched as the girl I recognized plug in a earphone jack into the amp. Shortly after, the room started to shake from the loud noise the amp was producing. After a few more seconds, I looked over to the girl with the red outfit and she was signalling me to break down the door. I generated 100,000 psi into my left arm and I threw my fist into the door. I broke it down, sending it flying to the other side of the room. We all entered and found several girls who had fainted from the loud noise. Only one person was left standing, a girl wearing an all white outfit, a white beret, and long white hair.
"You used your quirk to attack!? And there was a fifth person with you as well!? How could I have miscalculated!? This can't be!" The girl said in frustration. "It's over! Give up and surrender!" The girl in the red outfit said. "Never! I thought long and hard about how to beat you! I'm not just gonna give up! I'll just have to beat you physically instead of mentally!" The white haired girl said as she started to run at the girl with the red outfit. I generated 40,000 psi into my left arm and held it straight out right before the white haired girl passed me. She ran into it, her face colliding with my arm. She came to a complete stop and fell to the ground. "Thanks." The girl said to me. "It was nothing. Now let's eliminate these people and get out of here." I said as we all took out the balls we were given. There was ten other people in the room, so each of us were able to move on, passing this part of the exam. The only thing I was happy about though, was that I had taken a blood sample of one of my targets, the boy with the tape arms.
20 minutes later, myself and the other four I was with headed into a waiting room where the rest of the examinees who had passed were waiting. I saw "Camie" in the room and I walked over to her. "I trust you kept the sample of that Izuku kid safe, right?" I said to her as she turned to face me. "Of course. Were you able to collect more samples as well?" Toga asked me as I nodded my head. " I was able to get one other sample. It's from the guy with the tape arms. I found myself with another group shortly after fighting them, but this new group had more numbers. I couldn't launch an effective attack on them. So sadly, I was only able to get just the one sample of blood." I explained as someone tapped my right shoulder from behind. I turned to see who it was and I was met by the girl who was wearing the headphones. "Thanks for your help, bud! We might not have made it if you didn't show up. You actually remind me of someone I know." She said as she gave me a light punch on my left arm. I raised my arm up and her eyes widened as I started to shake the back of my head. "Your left hand... you're missing two fingers. And your voice, it sounds very familiar. But your face isn't the same, so I guess it's just a fluke that you have the same features as a person I know." She said to me as I started to get worried. "It's a small world. There's always someone who looks like you. And I guess you know someone like me. That's all I can say. I'll see you in the next test." I said as I shook her hair. She then walked away and I turned back around to talk to Toga. "Something feels weird. I recognize that girl from somewhere, but I just can't remember." I said as Toga grabbed my ear. "If someone recognizes you, then that could put this whole mission in jeopardy! We'll have to abort because of that. Shigaraki won't be happy with just two samples." She whispered into my ear. "Let go. I get it already. Let's just get out of here." I said as we made our way to the exits, thinking of a reason for us to drop out of this exam.
-Time Skip: 1 Hour-
We made it back to our hideout safe and sound. We were able to leave the exam after telling an official that we both felt incredibly sick. Somehow, they let us leave for having such a lame excuse. "I trust that you two had a successful mission?" Shigaraki asked us as we both nodded. Toga was changing back to her normal self and said "We were able to get a few drops of Izuku's blood. And Cry got another one of our targets blood too. That's all though. Is it enough?" "Of course it's enough. I'm just satisfied that you obtained that brat, Izuku's DNA." Shigaraki said as both me and Toga let out a sigh of relief. "There was another problem though." Toga said as Shigaraki snapped at us, saying "What is it!? Tell me!" "Someone at the exam thought they recognized Cry. And for some reason, he recognized her as well. What do you think we should do?" She asked as Shigaraki started to think. "That certainly is a problem. If they were to figure out who you really are, then that could cause some major problems for us. We'll have to wipe you, Cry. And from now on, you'll have to try and hide your features better." He said to me as I started to nervously sweat. They had "wiped" me before, and I never enjoyed it. It caused excruciating pain to surge through my body, but Shigaraki would always say it was for the best. And since he's our leader, I don't really have much of a choice but to trust him. "Fine. Let's just get this over with." I said as I started to walk over to an operation room. I stopped halfway, turned my head around and said "So what's going to happen to the girl we took then?" "Dabi and Compress are taking her back to where you found her. We gave her enough drugs to the point where she won't remember anything. She'll think she was asleep for a few days." Shigaraki explained as I turned back around, entered the operation room, and waited for my thoughts to be wiped. The last thing I thought about was that girl from the exam. "Who was she? And why was she able to recognize me as well? Do I know her from somewhere?" I thought to myself as Kurogiri entered the room with some needles in his hand. He walked to the side of the operating table, looked at me and said "It's time Cry. Prepare to have some of your thoughts wiped."
