And here we are, on the most current arc in the english dub of the manga. I don't know how many chapter i'll get out of what's available. I'll try and extend each match to the most. When i'm caught up, i'll be doing filler chapters until I can continue with the main story. Also, when i'm caught up, if you don't want to read filler chapters, i'll be starting a new series which i'll reveal pretty soon. Enjoy!

Two weeks had passed since Endeavors last stand against the Noumu. He was no longer feared as a hero, and was seen as the new symbol of peace. He changed my view on him that day, I know longer saw him as a villain, but as a hero that others can rely on to save them. He was someone like me, who would die before giving up. He's been the talk ever since that day, and after the battle ended, no villain activity was recorded. He put on such an amazing act of strength, no villain would dare come out of whatever hole they were hiding in. 

When the second half of the day came around, I headed to my homeroom class to start our hero lessons for the day. I walked alone today, nothing that bothered me though. I walked through the halls and rounded the corner to where my classroom was. Before entering my class, I was able to see Midoriya and All Might walking down the other end of the hall. They were met by Aizawa and Shinso who were leaving class 1-A. I didn't have time to say hi though because I didn't want to be late for class. I entered and sat down in my desk, waiting for Mr. Kan to begin his lesson for the day. He stood up from his desk and took his regular spot at the center of the class. "Today will be extra special for all of you! As some of you have already learned, this semester we will doing joint training exercises with class A. And today is our first session. I'll explain more on this when we begin. For now, all of you change into your hero costumes and meet down at battlegrounds delta in fifteen minutes. Today's the day we'll prove that we're better than class A!" Mr. Kan yelled as he exited the class. We all went to take our costumes and prepare ourselves to meet with class A. Some of my class members had their costumes altered so they wouldn't be affected by the colder temperatures this month. My hadn't changed at all, even with my new power, I still felt like it defined who I was, and it already had long sleeves and pants so it kept me warm. 

I headed down to battlegrounds beta, and with me were Tokage and Kuroiro. "Can't wait to face off against class A! We've been in their shadow for too long!" Tokage said as she raised her fists into the air. "I hope I get to face Tokoyami, I've got a little surprise for him." Kuroiro said with a chuckle. I then began to laugh and said "Well if we're saying who we want to fight, let's see. I've already faced off against Bakugou and Todoroki in the sports festival, so... I guess the next one I want to fight is Midoriya!" Tokage then became curious, saying "So you're hoping to face another one of their top students, eh Cry? I guess if you can beat Todoroki, you can beat any of them!" "Yeah, but don't forget, my powers are different from when I fought Todoroki. I haven't used it in any major combat situation so I hope I can still be as effective." I said as I looked down to my hands. "Nah, you'll be fine. Now let's kick their butts!" Kuroiro said as he slapped my back. "Yeah, you're right. I need to focus, so we can beat them!" I said as we entered battlegrounds beta.

We could see class A had already arrived. Some of their class members had changed up their costumes as well. Bakugou had long sleeves on his outfit and Yaoyorozu was wearing a long cloak. Our whole class had gathered in our semi-circle formation around class A. Monoma began to speak out to them, saying "Come class A! Let's settle this rivalry once and for all! Take a look at this! It's a survey from the cultural festival!" He said as he pulled out a piece of paper from his pocket. On it was the voting results between our class's performance during the festival. I was able to quickly see that our class had more votes. Monoma continued and said "Check out which people liked better between your live performance and our super high quality drama theatre performance! Thanks to Cry's take over for me, and his special effects, we were victorious over you!" He said as Kirishima from class A took the paper to see the results. "We lost by two votes! Seriously!?" He said as Monoma continued to brag. "Your streak of hogging the spotlight ever since the beginning of the year is coming to an end! And today! A versus B! Our first joint combat practice! We will kuh-" He tried to say but Aizawa shut him up by wrapping the scarf he wore around Monoma's neck. "And that's what you get for turning everything into a competition." I thought to myself as I was a little embarrassed from what he said. Mr. Kan then appeared and said "We have a special guest today. All of you, try not to look stupid in front of him." He said looking at Monoma. "A special guest? Is it a pro hero who's come to help us with this training session?" I thought to myself as someone appeared behind Mr. Kan. Mr. Kan then continued and said "He's applying to transfer to the department of heroes.This is Shinso Hitoshi, from class 1-C, of the department of general studies." Mr. Kan explained as Shinso appeared before us all. 

He was wearing his winter training uniform but he was also wearing what looked like Aizawa's scarf. "I guess he wants to be a hero like Aizawa, that's why he's using the same scarf he has." I said to myself. No one could believe he was the one who was trying to transfer, especially seeing how he lost in the first round of the sports festival final. I could see him entering the hero course though, since his quirk was so powerful, he would become a great hero with it. "Go ahead and greet everyone Shinso." Aizawa said as began to speak. "I know I've already met some of you at the sports festival, but you won't catch me thinking we're all buddies now that we've exchanged blows. I'm not some good-natured person trying to tout a superficial sense of sportsmanship. The fact of the matter is, I've gotten a late start and I've been left in the dust by hundreds of steps by you all. I'm sorry, but i'm desperate. I will become a great hero, so that I can use my quirk to help others. All of you here today are obstacles that I must overcome. And other than one of you, I have no intentions of making friends." He said as he glared at everyone. He took a longer look at me, making the connection that I was the specific person he was referring to. 

"Alright, let's get down to business." Aizawa said as Mr. Kan interrupted him. He yelled out "Combat exercises!" and then began to explain the rules of the fights. "This time around, it's class A versus class B! Each class will split into groups of four, and  one team from each class will battle it out one at a time!" Mr. Kan explained. Shishida then raised his hand and asked a question to them. "Including Shinso, there's 41 of us. How're we gonna deal with that odd number?" He asked as Mr. Kan answered his question. He said "Today Shinso will be participating in two battles. One on class A's side and one on class B's side. In other words, out of five matches, two will be 5 on 4." Hagakure then spoke out and said "But that means the teams with only four are at a huge disadvantage! How is that fair!?" Mr. Kan then cleared this up and explained how things would work. "Trying to integrate Shinso, who has next to no experience, into your team of four will likely be an even bigger disadvantage. It's true that the team of five has the numerical advantage, but they'll still have a handicap. The setting for this battle is "the heroes move to surround the villain group and capture them!" Each team shall perceive the other as the "villains." Once either team captures four members of the other, it's their victory!" Mr. Kan explained which made a lot of sense. "Oh I get it, even if a team has five members, if four of their members are captured, even with another able to fight, they'll still lose." I said out loud. "See, Cry gets it perfectly! All of you should keep that in mind if Shinso is on your team!" Mr. Kan said to everyone. He then continued and said "In each team's camp, we've installed a prison to hold the other combatants. The moment you imprison your opponent in there, they'll be considered "captured" even if the gate to the prison is still open. So it's obviously more efficient for your own team to fight closer to your prison, but i'm sure all of you are thinking that. So naturally, you'll all disregard that thought and fight wherever." Mr. Kan said as Aizawa jumped in. "Alright, I think that's enough explaining Kan. Let's make the teams now." He said as both he and Mr. Kan held up boxes. Inside the boxes were cards that said either team 1-5. I went first to take my team number and I pulled out the number 5. Now I just had to wait to see who my team members would be. After a few minutes of waiting, each class's teams were set. Joining me on team 5 were Kodai, Yanagi, and Monoma. "Can I please stop being grouped up with Monoma please?" I thought to myself as we looked to see who team 5 was on class A's side. Just as I had hoped, Midoriya was on the team along with  Uraraka, Ashido, and Mineta. 

Our teachers then held up two new boxes . Aizawa then explained and said "Alright, Shinso will now take out two numbers and see which teams he will be grouped with. The white number will be class A's side and the black number will be for class B." He said as Shinso reached into the boxes. He pulled out his hands and held up the two numbers up high so everyone could see. He was going to be grouped with team 1 for class A and team 5 for class B. I was excited since that meant he would be on my team. "With him on our team, there's no way we can lose." I said looking to Midoriya's team. Shinso then walked over to meet all of his new teammates. He went to class A first and then to us. Monoma began to speak to him and said "You're good! Yes very good! Let us join forces and give that deplorable class A a nice thrashing!" Shinso seemed to shrug it off and just said "Thanks for having me." He then bypassed my other teammates and stepped in front of me. "It seems we're on the same team once again. You're plans worked before, so lets see how they'll do this time, eh captain?" He said with a faint smile. Monoma then looked stunned and said "Hey, what do ya mean captain! I'm the captain, i've already decided it! I've even got a great plan!" I interrupted Monoma though and I said to him, "You've got a good plan eh? Just like your plan when you and I fought Mt. Lady? Remember how well YOUR plan went that day? But please, you're the captain, by all means, fill us in on your plan." I said to him while chuckling. He stumbled to speak and finally said "Uh, right! My plan is to make Cry captain! Anyone disagree!?" He said but none of our other teammates shook their heads. "Perfect, with you on our side, this should be a cake walk." I said as I stared at Shinso with fire in my eyes. Shinso only became curious after I said this, and he asked me "From what I remember, you had multiple powers during the sports festival. But after you were taken by villains, you lost a few of them. And, after doing some research on the recent Yakuza take down, I learned that you lost those remaining powers. But I also learned that you gained an entirely new quirk. I wasn't able to see it before but I heard you used it during the cultural festival. Care to explain?" He asked me. "Since you've gone so out of the way to even learn what happened, I guess it won't hurt if I tell you. My new quirk is called "Reality." I can essentially do anything I want as long as it doesn't directly affect a human body. As you can see, my right arm was destroyed and when I tried to make a new one out of human skin and bones, nothing happened. I then created this new arm out of anything I could think of, and I guess diamonds were on my brain at the time. I can also create anything out of nothing. I created magic wands, real dragons, swords, I can even change the environment around me to anything I want. My two new ultimate moves also add some new elements to my power. With one, I can create a spherical barrier around an enemy, about 20 feet in diameter. I then remove all oxygen from inside the barrier until the enemy faints from the lack of oxygen. My other ultimate move i'll keep a secret for now in case I end up using it today. Anyways, care to tell us about your hero costume, I see you're wearing a similar scarf that Aizawa has. And what's with the weird mask?" I asked him but all Shinso said was "I'll keep things a secret as well. Besides, you'll see soon enough when i'm fighting in the first match." He gave me a slightly bigger smile after that as he walked past me and back over to class A's team 1. "Shinso, you really are full of surprises!" I said to myself as the first round of our joint combat training was about to begin.
