-Shoto Todoroki Origin-

The voice didn't say anything as the screen suddenly turns black and words appear on screen.

Shoto Todoroki Origin

Enji, Todoroki and Midoryia froze up. They knew exactly what was about to be shown.

Izuku turned to Todoroki. Just by the look of his face, he could tell Shoto didn't want this scene to play. He bit his lip as his classmates looked at the screen reading the words.

Todoroki glanced at his classmates. Their faces full of curiosity and excitement.

"Woah! We get to see Todoroki's backstory!" Mina cheered, clapping her hands together.

"I bet it was awesome! I mean come on! Being raised by a pro, and being rich sounds pretty cool to me." Sato grinned.

"Hold on! That also means he must've been training when he was almost a teen. As someone who was born into a family of pro's, it is hard to live up to that standard." Iida stated, remembering the troubles that he had to get through so that he could live up to his expectations.

"Well he is top two in the class, and is amazing at using his quirk, that hard work must've payed off." Shoji stated out.

"You are so lucky Todoroki!"

Todoroki could do nothing but nod and internally cringe. They are all expecting his childhood to be filled with smiles. He was not ready for their reactions when they find the complete opposite. The udder shock they where going to undergo.

Enji seemed suspiciously panicked to the rest of the pros. They expect for Shoto to have a great childhood. Sure being raised by a pro probably meant that he would have be training hard, especially if he wanted to be a hero, but for the most part he should have a happy childhood. However, Enji's reaction put Aizawa on edge. Seeing him, along with Shoto and Midoryia tense up put a bad taste in his mouth. All Might thought back to what Endeavor said to him at the Sports Festival. "I created Shoto to overpass you." Or something like that.

'Created'. He 'created' young Todoroki. All Might thought. Maybe he was overthinking it, but something about the wording in that sentence just didn't sit right with him.

Bakugou raised an eyebrow as he read the words on screen. He overheard Deku and Shoto talk about this subject during the sports festival. And he wasn't an idiot. He knew how sensitive it probably was to Todoroki for it to soon be reveled to all his classmates. He didn't mean to overhear, it was their fault that they talked where he was. But overall, he was curious. What things have been going on behind closed doors?

The screen then cuts to the sports festival as Deku and Shoto walk up to the arena.

Shinso raised an eyebrow. "Isn't this about Todoroki's childhood? Why is it showing the Sports Festival?"

People shrugged their shoulders, they really had no clue why this was playing. But for Shoto, he was a bit relieved. The longer it takes for the screen to show his origin, the more prepared he will be for the reactions.

Shoto is the first to strike and ice makes its way to Midoriya. He counter strikes and pulls his middle finger back and launches an attack just before it hits him, shattering the ice and sending a gust of wind back to Todoroki.

Deku's classmates cringed as they saw Midoriya's now purple finger.

"It's a good thing you found a way to stop breaking your bones, Midoryia." Ojiro commented "Now you can last way longer in battle."

Deku chuckled in embarrassment. "Y-yeah. It's a good thing too. If I went on any higher percentage on my power, I probably wouldn't be able to use my arms like I do now."

People turned to Deku with their eyebrows raised. Katsuki sent a death glare and All Might sent a worried glance at Izuku. Izuku had to hide his panic that filled his body.

"Huh? What is that supposed to mean?" Midnight questioned. Izuku panicked even more as he realized that the LOV had also started to listen into the conversation.

"I-i mean that if my power has g-gotten stronger, then my arms probably wouldn't be able to t-t-take it!" He gave a sheepy smile. Relief filled his body as everyone seem to buy that answer. However, Katsuki was still giving death glares at the green haired boy.

After some camera shots from Shoto's eye and Midoriya's hand, Shoto launches another attack, to which Midoriya does the same counter attack but with a different finger. As another attack comes his way, Midoriya pulls his pointer finger back and breaks the ice once more.

"Wow! This fight looks way cooler when you are not extremely far away!" Hizashi stated in aw.

"You two look so cool fighting!! Minus the fact that Midoriya is probably in a lot of pain of course." Sero said.

The screen then cuts to later on in the battle. Midorya now has his other hand and his fingers broken, Todoroki is in a pile of his own ice. Shoto pushes a block of ice off of him.

"Are you trying to tell me....to stay away?" Todoroki thinks to himself. "All his abilities...are strong." The screen cuts to Midoriya again with Todoroki voice talking to Midoriya. "What, you're that beat up just by defending and running away?...With your arms like that, you can't fight anymore, can you?"

"Expect the unexpected from Midoriya Todoroki." Ojiro slightly smiled. No matter what seemed to happened, Midoryia had always found a way to surprise everyone's expectations.

Shoto sends a huge ice attack towards Izuku, but he doesn't seem to be giving up anytime soon. "Where are you looking?" The line seems to take back Shoto and his eyes widen as Midoryia sends a strong attack with one of his broken fingers. It sends Todoroki to the end of the arena and he would've been out if it weren't for him making ice behind him.

Even some of the villains had to cringe at the fact that this Izuku kid had just shattered his already shattered finger.

"Ouch! That must've been extremely painful. I could never do that. I could definitely do that." Twice cringed then lifted his head in pride.

"Do we really have to watch this bone breaker NPC break his bones? Why are we even here?" Shigaraki groaned.

"Oh come on Shiggy! It's not all bad! We get to watch Izuku beat up!" Toga blushed and couldn't take her eyes off the Midoryia on screen.

Dabi had been silent for most of the time they have arrived. Instead he watched carefully as the scene played. Narrowing his eyes.

"Bastard....With your broken finger?"

"You're trembling Todoroki....There's a limit on how cold your body can take, isn't there? Everyone is fighting with everything they got. You just want to win with half your strength?! COME AT ME WITH EVERYTHING YOU'VE GOT!!!"

Kirishima raised his eyebrows at Midoriya's words. "It's interesting how much emotion Midoryia is showing. From where we where, I could barely hear anything you were saying."

'Tch." The sound came from Bakugou. 'Come at me with everything you got.'

"...What are you planning?... Did my old man buy you off or something?

Midoryia shook his head "N-no Todoroki! That wasn't it!"

"I know Midoryia. We've already been through this."

Nother cut and the screen now shows more scenes of Shoto and Midoryia duking it out.

"I can't make a fist.." Izuku, after realizing this, puts his thumb up to his lip and flings his thumb sending in another attack.

"That- was oddly creative Young Midoriya." All Might rubbed his neck. Not too sure if he should support this type of creativity of finding new ways to break your bones.

"Why are you going so far?"

"Because I want to live up to everyone's expectations. That's why..." Midorya punches Todoroki in the gut. "Right now, I think you should stop screwing around!!"

The camera zooms into Shoto's eye.

As the screen turned black, coughing could be heard.

Everyone's excitement soon turned to concern as the sound of coughing could be heard.

"Huh? What's going on?" Uraraka's brow furrowed and looked at Todoroki. "Are we in a flashback or something?" She questioned.

"Why is there coughing?" Momo said with concern, while she was at first excited about seeing where Todoroki came from, seeing them get injured put her excitement at a low. And now there was coughing at what seems like a flashback. She didn't like this.

"I am assuming that the person coughing is you Todoroki. Since it is you 'origin'. Did you face a villain or something?" Shoji suggested. Him, just like with Momo, had a bad feeling.

"I mean there was that Stain incident we heard of, but the coughing sounds like a child." Kirishima hesitantly pointed out. Not wanting the fact to be true The point made the already uneasy Class 1A and Pro's even more uneasy. "Well maybe he is just sick, you know." He slightly smiled.

Soon followed by the screen fading into Endeavor, with a face filled with anger, his voice saying "Now get up. If you get hurt that easily, you can forget about beating All Might, or even a small-time villain." The camera pans down, showing Endeavor's hand extended and a young Shoto coughing violently and a pile of puke beside him.

Gasps escaped the mouths of practically everyone in the room. Eyes widened as people where trying to wrap their heads around what the screen was showing. Endeavor, the number one pro hero, punched his youngest child so hard that he threw up.

The Pro's that where in the room slowly turned to Endeavor, horrified and speechless. The room was dead quiet other than the coughing coming from the screen. Endeavor could feel the death glares that not only the pros but the entire class was giving. Hell, even the villains were pretty shocked, some more so than others. Sure, they didn't like hero's, all for a few reasons, but they didn't expect that a hero, nevertheless the #1 pro hero, who's entire purpose they say is to protect other people, would physically abuse their own kid.

A woman, presumably Shoto's mom, kneels down beside him. "Please stop pushing him, he's only five years old!" She pleads.

The teachers were visibly disturbed at the age Todoroki was. Midoryia bit his lip and glanced at all his classmates terrified faces. Todoroki merely closed his eyes as everyone else watch his 'amazing' childhood.

"What the hell?!" Sero said, bewildered at what the screen was showing. He brow furrowed and he turned to Endeavor appalled. "I am serious. What the hell?!"

"Mind explaining, Endeavor?" Aizawa glared at the number one hero. "Mind explaining why the number one hero is out here abusing his kid?"

Aizawa was never the one to sugarcoat things. Anyone who met him knew immediately that he was blunt and straight forward. This, especially, was no exception.

Endeavor, closing his eyes, opened his mouth. "I shouldn't have to explain it with what you just heard. You all are smart enough to figure it out."

Of course everyone knew what he meant but it wasn't the answer they wanted. Iida sucked in a breath "With all due respect, Endeavor. That is no way to teach someone respect. I am sure that you are smart enough to understand that."

Iida was just like anyone with a brain. He was noticably upset. He was the god damn class representative! Of course he worries about his classmates. However, he thought it was only villains he had to worry about. He had nearly eliminated the possibility of anything else hurting them, especially Todoroki, considering that his father was a pro hero. And heroes are supposed to protect citizens and the people they love. What the screen was showing, however, has made him rethink about assuming that villains were the only things he has to worry about. His biggest concern was how long had the abuse been going on? If it started this far back, how many years did this go on? His mind then began to dwell on what other things could be hurting his classmates without anyone realizing it.

"He can take it! Out of my way!" Endeavor said, followed by the sound of a hit and a woman's yelp. Shoto's eyes widen and he lifts his head. "Momma?"

"Oh dear.." Yaoyorozu put her hand on her mouth, feeling horrible for the mother. She just wanted to protect her child. "I am so sorry Todoroki." Momo apologized

Todoroki put his hand up, "Don't be Yaoyorozu. It is not your fault."

The screen cuts to a wide view of the Todoroki household. Three children are playing with a ball with a caregiver watching and laughing with them. On top of the balcony, Shoto watches from a distance with a wide smile on his face.

Ochako, wanting to lighten up the mood, smiled at the children playing the game. "Are those your siblings, Todoroki?"

The boy in question nodded. "The white haired boy is my brother Natsuo, the girl is Fuyumi.

"Who is the one with the red hair?"

Todoroki seemed hesitant at the question. In his opinion, he didn't feel like he should be the exact one to talk about the red haired sibling. But considering after what everyone saw, no on would be willing to listen to his old man. So it was up to him. "....My older brother, Touya."

"Why are you on the balcony? Why don't you play with them?" Momo questioned.

The moment is ruined when Endeavor comes in, grabs Shoto's arm and pulls him roughly. Shoto is now being dragged with his father showing little care.

"Ignore them, Shoto. They live in a different world than the one I am training you for."

Momo winced, "Oh....right."

"It is alright Yauyorozu. I had gotten closer to them as time went on." Todoroki reassured. "Fuyumi is the oldest out of all of me and Natsuo, so she is pretty motherly. Natsou is older than me and even if he is in college now, we are pretty close." Todoroki smiled at the thought of his siblings and them getting closer. "And Touya...." Todoroki blanked.

"What about Touya, Todoroki?" Midoryia asked. He didn't want to invade his privacy, but he was just too curious about this family.

"I... don't know." He admitted

"What do you mean?"

"I wasn't very close to him when I was younger."

"But, I thought you had gotten closer to them?" Mina said

"Yeah but-" Shoto really didn't know how to explain it, nor did he want to. "He.."

Even if he was the last person that anyone wanted to speak to, Endeavor felt as of he was the most qualified to talk about Touya out of this room.

"Shoto wasn't very close to Touya."

Everyone turned to Enji not very thrilled.

"Uh, yeah, Todoroki just told us that." Mina spat. "And I have to guess that you had some play with that?"

"Listen, I know I am not the person you would like to listen to, but I am probably the person who knew Touya best out of everyone in this room."

People turned to Todoroki, who nodded. They sighed, and turd back to Endeavor.

"Fine then, because Todoroki agreed with you, we will listen."

"Touya and Shoto weren't close. And I admit that it is because of me. I trained Touya to surpass All Might. While he did get a stronger fire quirk than me, he got my wife's skin. Meaning his quirk was harming himself as he used it. As time went on, Shoto was born and I stopped training him. Because of that, he started to resent both of us." Endeavor sighed, now for the hardest part that he knew everyone was going to be taken aback from. "The reason Shoto and Touya aren't close, is because unfortunately Touya died by his own quirk awhile after Shoto started training."

Just as he predicted, people were taken aback.

'Oh my god..'

'That must've been awful..'

We're a few mutters that went around the room.

A bunch of people felt pity for the boy. Midoryia and Aoyama especially. They both knew who what it was like to have a quirk that hurt them everytime they used it. Midoryia wondered, if his flames were stronger than Endeavor's, then imagine the amount of power he had, his flames had to be hotter. Midoryia sworn that he heard somewhere that being burned alive was one of the worst ways to die.

The screen then shows Shoto and his mother on a bed, with Shoto curled up. "I don't want to, mom! Please. I-...I don't want to be the kind of guy he is. I don't want to be the kind of guy who bullies people and hurts you momma!" He sobbed into his mothers chest. Rei rested her hand on his head, rubbing it softly.

Todoroki's classmates winced when younger him practically begged not to turn out like his father.

"Oh Todoroki...You aren't going to turn out like him." Midnight said, trying to comfort him. "Wasn't it All Might that said something like your past doesn't define you or something?"

"Yeah Todoroki!" You aren't even anything like him right now!" Midoryia smiled at Shoto, reassuring him. Even if he had a feeling Todoroki figured that out, he just wanted to make sure.

Todoroki nodded in response. He was still very uncomfortable about this whole situation of showing all his classmates, teachers and villains about his childhood, but at least he knew all their memories would be erased so no one would even remember this.

"But honey, you still wanna be a hero, don't you?" She says.

Another cut and the screen now shows Shoto rubbing his eye as he slowly walks past a door. He stops and turns when he hears his mother talking on the phone.

Todoroki eyes widened. The screen was show that moment. He could feel his body stiffening. This moment had just went from bad to worse for him.

"I feel like I am going crazy. I can't take it anymore." She says, fear in her voice.

"...Is it just me or does anyone else think things are getting worse?" Jiro stated.

"You aren't the only one Jiro. I have the same feeling as well. Especially with what the mother just said..." Kaminari muttered the last part.

"Everyday, the children seem more like him. And Shoto- that child's left side sometimes looks..unbearable to me. All I can see is his father."

Bakugou remembered what Todoroki said at the Sports Festival. It was this exact line. He knew what was coming. And he could tell that Deku and Todoroki knew as well.

"Wow...uh, that's a bit harsh.." Hisashi cringed. Todoroki knew that Mic was not ready to see what happens next.

Aizawa absolutely hated this. It pained him to see his students hurt and this was really pushing his limits on how much more he could take. But he had to be the reasonable one and he had to be the one to keep calm.

"I can't raise him anymore, I want to run away from this life." As Shoto overhears, he speaks up. "Mom? What are you saying?" Rei freezes up in fear. The camera cuts to a kettle while it is whistling, the whistling gets louder and louder as the camera is now facing the back of Rei's head. She hesitantly turns her head towards her son, her eyes filled with nothing but pure fear.

Chills ran down everyone's spines. For the most part, they all had supportive house holds. They couldn't imagine their parents looking at them like that.

Now Todoroki was standing with bandages wrapped around his left eye.

It took a moment for everyone to take in what had happened but as soon as it did people's mouths gaped.

"Oh. My. God." Uraraka was in completely shock.

"So that's how you got your scar! I can't-" Jiro immediately put he hand on Kaminari's mouth. Kaminari usually had this problem of saying things without thinking at inappropriate times out of excitement. He told the class that he knew about this ever since he was young but he couldn't really control it so everyone in class just let him be, getting used to it eventually. However Jiro knew this was the worse time to do it so she cover his mouth. He looked at her with a weirded out face but then changed it to a look of understanding after he realized what was happening. He silently thanked her and they continued to watch the screen.

"Moronic women. To hurt you at such an important time." Endeavor said

"Where did momma go?" Shoto innocently asked.

"Huh? Oh she hurt my masterpiece so I put her in a hospital to keep you safe."

Aizawa turned to Endeavor.
"You are acting like that was all her fault."

Endeavor thought it was best not to say anything at that point. He knew what he did was wrong and he was just starting of thinking to make amends for them. So it was pretty clear to him that this was probably the most merciful way for karma to strike back. He was being scolded at and hated by everyone in Shoto's class, but soon everyone was going to forget about this and everything would go back to the things they were.

Those words didn't seem to satisfy Shoto. His face was now an expression of anger with tears streaming down his face. "That was your fault."

"Huh?"

"You were the one who made her hurt me." As that line was said, an older sounding Todoroki, then spoke. "I will reject you." The scene ends.

By the end of the video, everyone was silent, not too sure what to think or say about the new number one hero. The teachers were split on lecturing Endeavor or talking to Shoto to learn more about the Todoroki household.

Aizawa was probably most upset out of all of the teachers. It made since as well. He was their homeroom teacher and he had the most responsibility over them. So it was no surprise that he was extremely upset. Now it made sense why Shoto always talked bad about his 'father'.

"Oh Todoroki... I am so sorry." Ochacko was their first to speak.

"I apologize too." Said Iida "I am sorry you had to go through that."

As other members of the class started to apologize, Bakugou looked between them.

"Tch, why the f*ck are you all apologizing?" The attention then went to him. "You extras aren't the ones who did all that sh*t to icy-hot." Bakugou rolled his eyes at the absurdity of his classmates.

"Bakugou is correct." Said Aizawa "Don't blame yourself's on something you couldn't control, let alone didn't know about. I am sure Todoroki feels the same way."

Shoto nodded, his classmates had nothing to do with what his father did to him. They had nothing to apologize for, and he didn't need them to apologize.

"Kachaan is right guys." Midoryia said.

"If anything you guys helped me. Especially Midoryia." Todoroki finally spoke up.

"...Hey Midoryia, Bakugou." Kirishima grabbed the two students attention "I don't know if it is just me but you two seem a bit too...calm."

Midoryia froze up but thankfully for Midoryia, Todoroki budded in. "During the Sport's Festival, I pulled Midoryia aside to tell him a bit of this. That is probably why he isn't as shocked about this as much as the rest of you." Todoroki explained. "However, I am not sure about Bakugou."

Everyone turned to Katsuki who raised an eyebrow "What are you god damn extras doing?"

"Looking for answers. Kero." Tsu said bluntly.

"Tch, you extras should really make sure you are actually alone when you talk about your god damn trauma." Bakugou explained.

Deku's and Shoto's eyes widened.

"Y-YOU OVER HEARD!?" Midoryia stammered with his jaw dropped.

"OI, JUST BECAUSE I AM OUT OF SIGHT DOESN'T MEAN I AM OUT OF HEARING RANGE YOU GOD DAMN NERD!! BESIDES YOU AND ICY-HOT WHERE TALKING WERE I WAS WALKING!!!" Bakugou yelled in his typical manner, but instead of focusing on that, Todoroki thought for a moment.

"Thank you Bakugou." He said. The sentence caught Bakugou off guard.

"Huh?"

"Thank you for not using that information against me in the Sports Festival while we were fighting. You could have easily done it to try to provoke me into fighting you, but you didn't. I appreciate it."

Bakugou glared at Shoto then rolled his eyes. "Whatever Icy-Hot. Let's just move on to the next dumb thing we are reacting to."

Everyone, although didn't get to say everything they wanted to, they still felt like they should just move on for now and if the topic gets brought up again then they could say more.
