"Dane, are you truly going to recommend double wielding with two sais?"

Evangelina had a small frown on her face.

"Maybe two wakazashis then?"

Dane had a triumphant look on his face.

"Dane, she has never handled a single sword never before and you want her doing two? Even you don't use two blades although you are more than adept to."

"That's because it's troublesome with a katana. But she would would be perfectly fine with the shorter wakazashi."

Ahsid saw two blades, quite similar to Dane's katana, but shorter in length.

"No, Dane. Ahsid can't do that."

"Hey, why can't I do that? I thought this two sword wielding thing is really cool in the movies and..."

"We are talking about your life, dear. It's so not practical in reality,"whispered Evangelina, and then lowering her voice, confronted Dane,"You can't expect her to fight with two blades compared to using only one."

"Fighting with two identical blades isn't really any harder than fighting with one, or with two mismatched blades, or any other combination.The reason that it seems that way is that people often have difficulty translating techniques across from one side to the other. And that's simply because it isn't a skill most people use in their day to day lives."

"And Ahsid can do it because..."

"Because I have seen the passion with which she attacked Jubel today. I was there and saw the flames in her eyes, so she will be able to do the unthinkable. She will be a part of us."

Pride engulfed Ahsid and she now understood how much she wanted to be accepted into their lives, in Dane's life. She knew it wouldn't be easy, but it wasn't impossible. And she wasn't a weakling.

Clenching her fists, she dispelled all doubts from Evangelina's mind when she announced,"I will do it."

"Ahsid..."

"No! I can do this. I know I will need to work on using both my hands interchangeably for mirroring my actions, which is just a skill that a lot of people aren't very comfortable in. But, I will do it."

Dane smiled at Ahsid's positivity. "You can always revert back to something else, like your precious OA-15 M5 sniper or the SA58 Predator. I would want you to be ready for anything but your main goal should be the wakazashi."

And with that, Dane threw the blades for Ahsid to catch. She caught the first but the second clattered to the ground.

Evangelina sighed while Dane grimaced,"Well, it's a start-" as Ahsid stood sheepishly trying to look cool and intimidating, horribly failing at both.
