I. It's Dull Down Here

"Would you believe it? Professor Joyce had to give us that much of a homework,"complained Ahsid.

"He simply forgets that we have other subjects too,"agreed Sienna.

As the bus rolled on the ground, Ahsid couldn't help thinking as to how bad the heat was, how cliched their conversation was and how she had two other tuitions that day.

"You know, Sienna, life is pretty boring right now."

"Yeah, I mean I am almost squished between these two men,"she replied in her most menacing tone.

The two men ignored her comments and Ahsid simply laughed. There was nothing better to do. The driver was driving at snail's speed, earning the ire of the irritated passengers. She sighed. They should just leave the poor guy alone. He couldn't help the traffic after all.

When the bus stopped at Triangular Park, another crowd got into the already overcrowded bus. Her sharp eyes noticed a boy of probably a year older than her. He was tall, lean, muscular and a certain aura engulfed him. He casually took a seat opposite the duo.

"Hey, Sienna, what do you think of that boy?"

"Which boy,"she whipped around her head in anticipation.

"Umm, the one right in the front?"

"Huh!? There's no one sitting there,"she whispered back.
Ahsid furrowed her eyebrows. To her shock, the boy locked gazes with her.

"Woah, he's starting to freak me out,"whispered Ahsid.

"Please Ahsid, I am not in the mood for your poor jokes,"Sienna retorted back.

To her astonishment, the boy pulled out a curved blade from somewhere and casually placed his arm on the hilt. Ahsid stood up in fear.

"Who are you?" she yelled.

"Woah, Ahsid, what happened," asked a worried Sienna.

"Sit down, young lady," some passengers said.

Now the boy looked a bit surprised. Suddenly, there was a lurch and a scream as the bus collided with a truck right at the intersection of the road. Everything went black.
