The Next Morning...

I woke up the next morning to the muffled sounds of bird calls. My eyes fluttered open and I yawned. I had a bundle of hair in my face and looked down at the person in my arms. Abbey was fast asleep with her forehead on my chest. I smiled and rest my cheek on her head and closed my eyes. I wanted to fall back asleep, but a cough made me reopen my eyes wide. There, standing with an evil smirk and his phone camera facing me was my brother. He was 6'1" and had the same dirty blonde hair and sky blue eyes as me. He had on a devilish smirk and an evil glint was in his eyes. Abbey made a whining sound and tried to pull me back down with her eyes closed. Behind my brother was a girl around his age with black hair and had jade green eyes. She was giving me a closed mouth smile, though she kept on glancing at my brother nervously.

The evil look in Jonny's eyes intense and he opened his mouth. Before either the girl or I could stop him, he yelled "WAKE UP!" Chaos ensued after that. Abbey shot up in her seat screaming, along with Wendy. Carla and Happy both woke up with a squeak and ran away like normal cats. Natsu jumped up wide awake the same time Gray did and both punched the other. Lucy screeched awake and jumped away from my brother and Erza woke up like nothing happened. "Hmm... What...?" Erza questioned, sounding tired and confused. "What was that for Ice Princess!?" Natsu yelled at Gray. "You're the one that punched me Flame Brain!" Gray yelled back. Now both were butting heads. "What did you call me Popsicle!?" "You heard me Squinty Eyes!" "ENOUGH!" Erza yelled, knocking both Gray and Natsu out. "Yes Erza..." Both said in quiet voices.

The whole time, my brother was sitting back and laughing at their reactions. I just sighed and shook my head. "Seriously Jonathan?" I asked my brother. He just nodded and continued laughing. The girl came up behind him though and pulled his ear. That shut him up. "Ow ow ow! Natalie!" He whined. Natalie just glared at him and dragged him up stairs, making him yell at her in pain. "Was that..." Abbey said. "Yup." I answered. "So he's..." She continued. "Uh huh." I said. "Who was that?" Lucy asked, hand over her heart, trying to control her breathing. "Someone that is about to get a mouth full from me and our mother." I growled out like an animal. That surprised all of us, including me. "Was that you?" Erza asked. I just nodded, a shocked look on my face. "It almost sounded like a dragon's roar." Happy said, flying over to us with Carla and sitting on Natsu's shoulder. "Really?" Abbey asked. Team Natsu nodded. "Let's worry about that later. I have a younger brother to kill." I said, getting up from the couch.

I sat at the head of the dining room table while my bro sat at the other end. I glare at him as he smirks at me. Natalie and Abbey are helping my mom in the kitchen and Team Natsu just sat at the sides, glancing from me to Jonny. "So," my brother said, breaking the silence, "why was Abbey in your arms downstairs?" "I fell asleep beside my girlfriend, so it's only natural I have my arms around her." I replied, continuing my glare. My brother's eyes widened and he said "So you finally had the guts to ask her out you big baby?" I growled at him as my eyes tingle and lunge at him. He shoots up from his seat and away from me. A sword made of green palm leaves with a hand guard made of flower stems appeared in his hands. The blade was as green as the palm leaves. I growled at him and all the shadows moved towards him and became darker. Jonathan put his blade in a guarded position and waited for the attack. Just as him and I lunged at each other, a force field formed and my brother and I crashed into it.

"Right when your brother gets back, all havoc breaks lose! Both of you can't go one minute without leaping at each others throats!" My mothers voice rang through the room. My brother and I looked towards the entrance to the kitchen and saw my mother in her work clothes glaring at us and her hand up, palm facing towards us. It was glowing. My eyes stopped tingling and I looked confused. "What just happened!?" My brother asked, looking confused. His sword was gone. My mother just blinked rapidly and walked to the table in a daze. "I-I need to sit down..." She said in a dreamy state. Natalie and Abbey, both who were beside my mom when that happened, helped her sit down. Just then, Selene came upstairs from the basement, yawning. "Good morning~!" She sang when she saw us. I face palmed and shook my head. "What?" Selene asked confused. She was still in her dress.

"Can you explain everything? I'm too tired for this." I said to Selene. She nodded. "So! Miss. Anna, Mr. Jonathan, you both have magic. Anna, your magic is based off of protecting people, A.K.A your sons. You have Barrier Magic. And you Jonathan have Re-quip magic. That was your sword. You can both use magic, along with Robert who just recently found his magic out yesterday." Selene explained. My mother looked flabbergasted while my brother just grumbled. "Of course... my girlfriend is a Shadowhunter, so why not have magic in the world as well." He mumbled. I flinched at the word 'Shadowhunter'. "Jay!" Natalie yelled at him. She walked over to him and smacked the back of his head. "Ow!" My brother yelled. "There are monsters and demons in this world that stayed hidden by something called The Mist that you couldn't see before. One of those monsters is your dog." Selene continued. This caught everyone's attention. "What?" I questioned.

Selene whistled and my dog came into view. It barked and its body started to morph. Its fur became as black as night and its eyes became a flaming red. Its ears became pointed and it growled. The shadows moved towards it. "Or...eo?" I said. It barked and rushed me. It knocked me down onto my back and growled in my face. Everyone started scrambling, that is until my dog started licking my face. "Okay! Okay! It's still you!" I yelled while laughing. Everyone let out a breath and began to either chuckle or giggle. "Only normal mortals can't see them, and if The Mist would for some reason move away and show a monsters true form, then they would become unconscious due to the pressure." Selene explained. "What pressure?" Mom asked. "When The Mist leaves a place, it leaves little air molecules and knocks out the mortal." Selene explained.

"That's why everyone fainted back in the café!" I exclaimed. Erza and Abbey's eyes widened. "You're right! Only you, me, Erza and Victoria were awake." Abbey said. "Exactly! And me, being the amazing moon goddess that I am, was immune to that!" Selene explained, with a prideful look on her face. "GODDESS!?" Mom and Jonny exclaimed. All of us visibly paled. "Whoops... forgot to mention that..." Selene mumbled. "What is she the goddess of again!?" Mom asked. I sighed and moved Oreo off me, who decided I was a comfy seat, and stood up. "Mom, Luna." I said. Mom's eyes widened, but Jonny looked confused. "Luna? But I thought she said she was Selene!" He yelled at me. I let out a sound of frustration. "Her Greek equivalent is Selene! Her Roman one is Luna!" I told him. He mouthed 'Oh' and stayed quiet. "Thank you..." I said. I looked at the time and paled. 7:45. "Guys!" I yelled, catching everyone's attention and pointing at the clock. They all looked at the clock and screamed. "We're behind schedule!" We all yelled running around like crazed lunatics. My mother, Selene and Oreo just sat there, giggling (Or in my dogs case, giving a wolfish smirk) and watching us.

I sat at one of the cafeteria tables during lunch with Natsu, Abbey, Victoria and Matthew. "My brother is home..." I groaned. Abbey rubbed my back as I laid my head on my lunch bag. "Hey, don't hate on your brother." Matthew said with a smirk. I glared at him. "Said the dude who didn't tell me he was a Shadowhunter!" I growled at him. He just shrugged and looked away. When I got to school, Abbey, Victoria, Drake and Matthew all confessed to what they have been hiding. Drake could summon twin pistols named Monster and Demon. Both pistols had the capability to shoot elemental bullets. Victoria was taught magic by a man in her dreams. He was made of sand and constantly changing his form. He told her he was an Earth god and taught her magic. She can control what the ground does and uses attacks with the ground. Matthew was a Shadowhunter and belongs to the Institute in Toronto. Supposedly he is number 1 in the Shadowhunters from there. I, of course, don't believe him. Lastly, Abbey is like me, but uses light. She has the ability to control anything that is light and also growls like a dragon.

"So you all have magic?" Natsu asked with a full mouth of food. Matthew and Victoria nodded. I just rolled my eyes at my friends and slowly got off my lunch bag and pulled out my sandwich. Just before a bit into it, I was stopped by a voice. Hello., it said. It sounded feminine. Natsu and Abigail froze as well. Matthew and Victoria looked at us with confused expressions. I looked past them and saw Selene on the stage, looking at me with wide eyes. Listen to my voice. I ask you to meet me in Altona forest. Quickly, for I don't have much time., the women said. Selene and I held eye contact the whole time. Matthew and Victoria saw this and looked over their shoulders at the stage. They couldn't find her. Selene shook her head no, but I felt a need to listen to the women. I clenched my left hand which was on the table and holding nothing. Selene's shadow and the shadows around her took hold of her and began to drag her away. Her shadow had gotten up and covered her mouth. Selene was struggling and tried to stop me as I got up.

"I got to go." I said, packing my uneaten lunch back into the lunch bag and into my school bag. Matthew and Victoria snapped their gazes at me and said "Wait what?" Natsu and Abigail were doing the same. "We'll come with you." They said at the same time. As we got up, we left Matthew and Victoria sitting there with flabbergasted looks. We left the cafeteria and ran out of the school. We all got to my mom's black equinox that she left for me to use (She was using my car for some reason!). When we got there though, a confused Lucy and Wendy were there. When they saw us, the confusion on their faces seemed to grow. "Did you guys hear that voice as well?" Wendy asked. We nodded. "Okay," Lucy said, "that person called two Dragon Slayers, two people who don't know what their magic is, and a Celestial Wizard. Why do I get the feeling like there is more behind the lady's summons?" I shrugged and grabbed the car keys from my bag. I unlocked the car doors and jumped into the drivers seat. I closed the door and started the car. I looked out the window and saw the other four confused. I rolled down the window with a raised eyebrow. "You coming or what?" I asked, smirking. Wendy and Natsu paled. "We can walk!" Both yelled.

Lucy rolled her eyes and dragged Natsu into the back. "Sorry Wendy, but we're driving." Lucy said, looking sorrowful at Wendy. Wendy sighed in defeat and hopped into the back as well. Abigail got into the passenger side. I rolled the back windows and looked behind me at the two Dragon Slayers and the Celestial Wizard. "Might wanna hold on. Cause when I start, I don't stop. Like my mother." I mumbled the last part, stepping on the gas. As we drove to Altona Forest, you could hear Natsu barfing out the window and Wendy groaning with discomfort. "I HATE TRANSPORTAION!" Both yelled. The rest of us laughed. It only took us two minutes to get to the forest. It wasn't that far. When I stopped the car, both Wendy and Natsu jumped out and started kissing the ground. "Freedom!" They yelled. This caused the girls to giggle and me to shake my head with a smile. I turned the car off and got out with Abigail and Lucy. I looked at our destination. We were at the park on Summerpark. "We're here." I said. I was about to go towards the entrance to the forest when I heard a roar from the other end of the street. All of us looked towards the roar and saw a lion with bat wings and a scorpion tail running at us. It was as big as an elephant.

"Manticore!" I yelled. "Leave this to us!" Natsu said with a grin. Him, Wendy and Lucy stepped in front of us. Natsu had his fist in his palm while Lucy had one of her golden keys in her hand and Wendy had a determined look on her face. The Manticore raised its tail and pointed it at us. My eyes widened. "Dodge!" I yelled grabbing Abbey and running towards the park. "Why!?" Lucy asked. I could hear them following though. As if on cue, a barb was shot through the tree. "Nevermind!" She squeaked. Natsu screamed in frustration. "That's it!" He yelled. I stopped running and looked over my shoulder. He raised his fist and lit it on fire. "Natsu, wait!" I yelled, but he didn't listen. "Fire Dragon Iron Fist!" He yelled. When he made contact with the Manticore, it didn't do a thing, just made the monster stop moving. Natsu smirked and jumped back, waiting for it to do the same thing with the monster he defeated her last time. The Manticore then roared and Natsu's smile fell. "We need a weapon! Something made of Ancient Bronze from Ancient Greece!" I yelled at him. "WHAT!?" Everyone else yelled. "Were do we find that!?" Lucy asked.

As if on cue, Delphi came around the corner behind the Manticore. In her hand was a short sword made of bronze. She also carried a large bag with her. How she was carrying it, I don't know. "Robert!" She yelled, tossing the sword like a Frisbee. As it passed under the Manticore, it made small cuts to the monster. It roared in pain. The sword then passed Natsu and landed at my feet, skidding on the ground. I picked it up and rushed in front of Natsu. I had both hands on the sword and held the point up. It was a bit light and the bronze glowed. The monster stepped back a bit and growled at me. I let out a battle cry and rushed towards the monster. It roared back and awaited me. I sliced at the things ankles, but it moved away. It raised its barbed tail and shot one of the barbs at me. I fell to the ground and it landed behind me. The others were cheering me on and telling me where to go. I then felt my body lose control and something came over me and it felt like I was watching my body move.

I watched my body dodge and move. The blade in my hand started to morph into a different weapon. This one had a long handle and a sharp blade that was around 90 centimeters. It started to be as thick as my wrist, but slowly thinned to have a sharp tip. Everyone stopped yelling and it was silent. The Manticore stepped back. My body ran and sliced at the monsters feet with unimaginable speed. It lost one of its paws and roared in pain. Though, my body wasn't finished. I cut off its other paw and that was when I was given my body back, but I had all the knowledge of a scythe wielder. I grit my teeth in concentration and yelled out as I raised the scythe. I punctured its throat and it froze. Then, it slowly began to disintegrate into golden sand. I pulled the scythe out and thumped the handle on the ground. I was breathing hard. It was then that the scythe transformed into a miniature necklace pendant and fit into my palm.

I fell backwards onto the ground and was still breathing hard. "Robert!" Everyone yelled. They all appeared over me. Lucy and Wendy with worried expressions, Abigail with tearful eyes, Natsu with a shocked look, and Delphi with a small smile and pride in her eyes. Wendy started healing the small cuts on me from the twigs and everything that was on the ground while everyone else talked to me. "That was crazy! Where can I get one of those!?" Natsu yelled, asking Delphi. "In a minute." Delphi told Natsu. Then she looked at me. "Nice job Robert." She said. As if on cue, footsteps could be heard. "What happened!?" They said. The voice was female and sounded familiar. I sat up and looked at the person. It was a woman with blonde hair. We looked around and saw a woman with blonde hair, black eyes, in a red and blue dress. "Who are you?" Lucy asked. The woman smiled and said "That is an excellent question my little Dragon Slayer." Natsu and Wendy looked at Lucy in confusion. "You're a Dragon Slayer!?" Natsu asked. "I am!?" Lucy said. "I am Diana, Queen of the Dragons! I called you here because you all need to be trained. Natsu Dragneel, the Fire Dragon Slayer that has impressive and unimaginable power. Wendy Marvel, the Sky Dragon Slayer that has a caring heart. Lucy Heartfillia, the Celestial Dragon Slayer that loves and cares for her friends. Abigail Amser and Robert Wieder, the Dragon Slayers of Light and Darkness. Now, shall we train?" Diana said.
