Chapter 3: New Students From Fairy Tail!

When I woke up the next day, the girl from yesterday was over my head and a hand was placed on my mouth to keep me from screaming. "Robert!" I heard my mom call, "Are you up yet!?" The girl looked away and answered in my voice. "Yeah! Coming down in a sec!" Then she looked at me and giggled. "See you around." she said, leaving in a poof of moon dust. As the moon dust slowly fell to the floor, I sat there frozen. I gulped and got out of bed. As I made my way downstairs, I acted like nothing happened. After getting changed and leaving for school (My mom had already left for work.), I met up with Matthew Tohill. He was 5'8" with brown hair. Brown eyes. He wore the male version of the uniform like me, except he wore the black shorts. "Hey! How was your weekend?" he asked with a grin. "Tell you when we see Abbey and the rest of the group." I told him. He looked confused, but nodded anyways.

As we walked to school, there were creatures and monsters all over the place. When I looked to my left, I saw a woman like the woman that ran into the tree back on Summerpark staring at me. She had her dark green hair in a fishtail braid over right shoulder. She wore a grass green sundress and was bare foot. She looked to be about 17 years old and was studying my every movement with her forest green eyes. I gulped and looked away. Then, a small, red humanoid creature with devil horns, wings, and a tail ran right in front of me making me stumble backwards and causing it to let out a high pitched laugh. As it ran away, Matthew looked at me like I was crazy. "You okay?" he asked, "You seem to be more on edge then usual lately." It was like he didn't see that creature at all. The thing was still there and looked at Matthew's back. It gave a high pitched squeal of fear and retreated into a bush. "C'mon! We're gonna be late." he said with a stern look, but I swore I saw a ghost of an evil smile on his face when the creature squealed. All I did was nod.

When we made it to school, we met up with Abigail, my friend Victoria, and my other friend Drake. Drake was an inch shorter then Matthew and had black hair. He had glasses and hazel eyes. Victoria had brown hair and dark brown eyes. She had her hair up in a high ponytail. "Hey! How was your weekend guys?" Abigail asked with a smile. So, I told all of them. It was quiet. Then they all just laughed. "Hahaha! That's hilarious Robert! Nice joke! Now tell us what really happened." When I stayed quiet, they looked at me like I was crazy. "Robert. I'm going to say this once, cause I'm a nice friend..." Victoria said in a slow voice like she was teaching a four year old, "Fairy. Tail. Isn't. Real." Then all four of them started walking towards the office. I followed behind them, trying to make them believe me.

"Come on! You got to believe me!" I told them. "Yeah. You ended up in your anime world. Meanwhile, I stabbed a puppy and chocked a little kid!" Matthew joked. For some reason, the other three looked at him with threatening eyes. He just rolled his eyes. What was that about? We then stopped in front of the office and they spun and looked at me. "Sorry Robert, but we just don't believe you." Abigail said. That's when the office doors opened and we all looked at them. From the office came Fairy Tail's strongest team. Wendy Marvel, Lucy Heartfilia, Erza Scarlet, Natsu Dragneel, and Gray Fullbuster. I paled considerably and jumped back a bit. We all froze then. It was a stand off. One group was staring at the other. That's when my friends walked in front of me with their arms out. I felt the hostility coming from all four of them. "What do you want?" Abigail asked in a threatening tone. Gray, the raven haired and dark blue eyed dude, just glared. "We want to talk with him. So if you would please move out of the way..." he said, trailing off.

For some reason, Abigail growled like a wild animal. "Watch it mages... we have more power then you think..." Matthew said in an ominous tone. He then pulled a crystal pen from his pocket and did something with it on his left arm. For some reason, the air smelt like burnt skin. It stayed quiet for a good minute. Erza then started to reach in front of her and the air shimmered a bit. Before anything drastic happened, the warning bell rang. People started rushing around the halls and my friends took this as an opportunity as an escape. My friends managed to rush me to my English class. Once we got there, they left like nothing happened. I just stared after them, blinking repeatedly. I then walked into class and sat at my desk. As I walked to my desk, my friend, Kayla pushed me slightly as I walked past her.

She had brown hair with blonde highlights and dark brown eyes. She is 5'2". She snickered and I just shook my head with a smile. When I sat down, the bell went off again. Our teacher came in with a smile. "Okay! Today, we have a new student. Please welcome, Lucy Heartfillia!" he said. I paled as said girl came in. She held a confident smile and when she saw me, her grin grew. "Hi! I'm Lucy Heartfillia! It's a pleasure to meet you all!" she said. The teacher then decided that I would be the one to show her around. Oh no... Just as she sat down beside me, Sharon raised her hand and asked to go to the washroom. Though I know her. She is leaving to talk with either Abigail or Morgan. As she walked past me, she looked at me with a glare. I quickly texted her. 'I don't like her! She is stalking me!' As I placed my phone down, Lucy said "So... about what happened in Fairy Tail-" I quickly shut her up by raising my hand and asking "Can I go to the washroom!?" The teacher jumped and he nodded. I got up, grabbed my things and left.

As I left, I thought I heard Lucy say "Shoot! Missed my chance." I sat in the atrium and let out an exhausted sigh. I got up to use the washroom, but never got the chance. Because once I got to the door for the washroom, Natsu jumped in front of me. I paled. "You're coming with me." He said, grabbing my arm and speed walking towards the exit. Thankfully, the girl from this morning saved me. She had knocked his hand off me and shoved me away. "Run!" she yelled. I was about to do just that, but blacked out again. When I came to, I was standing with my right arm extended. Though the scene I saw was frightening. The girl and Natsu were wrapped up in dark tentacles and were struggling to break free. The girl looked at me and screamed "What are you waiting for!? This is your chance of escape! GO!" So I listened and ran out of the hallway. As I ran, the dismissal bell went off, so I ran to my next class.

---------------------------------------------------------

When I got to the cafeteria table, I quickly did a quick glance at the room. No Fairy Tail mages to be seen. I let out a sigh of relief and thought about the conversation I had with Victoria during my French class. I groaned and banged my head on the table. During French, Victoria had acted like nothing happened before school started. She even stated how that my love life is non-existent, she would try to hook me up with someone. "You okay?" asked an angelic voice. I snapped my head up and looked at her. Abigail stood there with a look of concern. I was about to say something, when I decided to be a tiny bit flirty. "You know, concern doesn't look good on your beautiful face." I said with a smile and a wink. Her face went red and she giggled. "That was corny." She said while sitting down. I chuckled and pulled out my lunch. We started eating in silence and just enjoyed each others company. Hmm... let's try another. "Umm... I might as well call you Google, cause you are everything I'm searching for." I say. She froze mid-bite and her face lit up again.

That's when she fired one back at me. "Kiss me if I'm wrong, but dinosaurs still exist... right?" She asked with a small blush. I just smirked and got up. I walked around to her side and sat beside her. She was blushing hard. I then went for it. I gave her a kiss and closed my eyes. She froze and my blood ran cold. I'm about to be slapped. Then she started kissing back and happiness ran through my system. It was a sweet kiss, one that promises more to come. As I pulled away, I could finally hear the clapping and the cat calls around us. I blushed a bit, but smiled nonetheless. I reached across the table and moved my lunch bag to beside Abbey's. That's when Victoria came with an angry face, but happiness in her eyes. "You both took me out of a job!" She yelled with false anger. Abigail looked confused so I answered. "She was going to set me up with someone because supposedly my love life is non-existent." Abigail just wrapped her arms around me and glared at Victoria. "He's mine!" She said. We then all laughed. Though Victoria's face paled and her laughing ceased when a hand clamped down hard on my shoulder.

I froze and gulped. I slowly turned around and saw Erza Scarlet standing right behind me. Abbey got her hand and threw it off me. "Stay away from him!" Victoria yelled, getting up. That's when the girl appeared again. She knocked away both Erza and my friends. "RUN! NOW!" She yelled. The cafeteria started panicking, but went quiet. I looked around and saw everyone except Erza, Abbey, Victoria, the girl and I passed out on either the ground or the tables. "Shit! I was too late!" The girl said. That's when these winged, small creatures with the faces of old ladies flew in. They were screeching and wailing. Erza summoned a sword from thin air and cut one just as the girl said "Don't!" Too late. The monster exploded into golden dust and Erza's eyes widened as she screamed in pain. When she stopped, she was panting. "Idiot! Those are the Arae! Curse spirits!" The girl said. "My my... Lookie here." One of the spirits said. "A goddess that should be dead!" Another screeched. The girl rounded on one and yelled "Shut up!"

That's when an idea came to mind. Please work. I clenched my fist and raised with the knuckles facing the ground. All the creatures looked at me with uneasy expressions. "Robert? What are you doing?" Victoria asked. Then, I opened my palm. Black tentacles shot out of all the dark corners of the room and impaled all the monsters. They screamed in pain as each one exploded into dust. Something washed over me, but it vanished as soon as it came. The girl was staring at me with wide eyes. "You aren't cursed... Why aren't you cursed!?" She asked. "I... I don't know." I told them. That's when my vision started to sway. I was losing my footing and I placed my hand down on one of the cafe tables. "Robert?"

I heard Abbey call. Though it sounded muffled. "Robert!" The girl said, sounding muffled as well and rushing to catch me. I slowly fell forward to the floor as my legs gave out. All I saw was black right after...
