A.N. Warning: This chapter contains graphic content including gore, descriptive violence, bloodshed, tragedy, and death. Reader discretion is advised, especially for those who may be sensitive to such themes.
(Side note) Part 2 is also much longer than Part 1.
Additionally, to fully immerse yourself in the mood of Part 2 of "Clash of Possession," I truly recommend listening to "Angels in Tibet" by Amaarae. (I'll have the song pinned above). This song personally enhanced my experience when writing this chapter/part, and really captured the yakuza vibe perfectly (in my opinion).
However, please note that this is merely a recommendation. I just couldn't resist mentioning it because I've become completely in love with the song and found myself listening to it on repeat while writing/reading and even editing this chapter.

"Here I come."
At that precise moment, after Naruto uttered those words, he seemed to have tapped into a power that left Hinata utterly dumbfounded.
It was a force so extraordinary that it surpassed anything she had ever witnessed in her entire life.
It was witnessing that sight that made Hinata understand firsthand why Naruto was so feared in Japan.
In the blink of an eye, the blonde seemed to vanish into the fabric of the night air, becoming one with the wind that enveloped everywhere around her with a resounding whoosh.
His speed transcended mere swiftness, reaching god-like levels-a manifestation of unparalleled agility that defied the bounds of humanity.
It was a defining moment that illuminated the supernatural essence of his abilities-a moment that conveyed to Hinata that Naruto was no ordinary foe, no mere human.
He was something else.
Hinata could feel the dark shift in the air, like cold tendrils gripping her flesh, threatening to rob her of her courage, her strength.
This realization made it clear to Hinata that she had to be super careful when dealing with Naruto.
His power hinted at something almost inhuman, so she knew she needed to approach the fight with a lot of consideration and strategy.
With that being said...
Hinata didn't wait.
It was her turn to swiftly tap into her own distinctive power-a special technique reserved solely for the Hyūga clan.
"Byakugan," Hinata murmured with urgency, channeling the might of the all-seeing power she possessed.
In an instant, her lavender eyes radiated, casting an ethereal glow that pierced through the obscurity of the night. The veins around her eyes pulsed, protruding to the surface as she brought the ancient Hyūga technique to life.
The world seemed to transform before her as soon as her Byakugan was activated.
Layers of information unfolded before her very eyes, revealing even the most diminutive details-energy patterns, air currents, and even subtle disturbances in the area around her.
Her heightened senses, her visual prowess, served as a guiding light in the encroaching darkness, preparing her for what Naruto had in store.
It was at that moment that she managed to locate Naruto, finally able to see him with her own eyes.
He appeared to streak across the courtyard like a blur, moving at a speed beyond human capability.
Hinata's luminous lavender eyes darted back and forth, left and right, trying to keep track of his rapid movements.
With the precision of the Byakugan, she now could anticipate Naruto's every move before he could make it.
He was toying with her, that much was certain, seeking to outwit her and gain the upper hand.
Hinata keenly observed his tactics, watching as he rushed around the courtyard with reckless speed, like a man possessed. She saw through Naruto's crafty strategy to catch her off guard and break her concentration.
She saw through him.
Not only so, but Hinata was even able to see the subtle shifts in the dark energy coursing through his chakra network, seemingly fueling his speed and aiding in his inhuman movements across the entire courtyard.
Hinata's eyebrows furrowed with unease as she spotted the presence of orange coloring Naruto's chakra network entirely.
It deeply unsettled her, as the chakra pathways in a human typically displayed a serene blue hue.
But the color of her opponent's chakra was entirely different...
But it wasn't just the color that startled her, though, it was also the accompanying sensation, the energy, that emanated from Naruto's very being.
In addition to seeing the state his chakra was in, Hinata felt a feral energy radiating strongly from Naruto, akin to a beast unleashed.
This unbridled force spiraled through the air, intensifying the wind to a degree that left her visibly shaken. Leaves and cherry blossoms were ripped from the trees, swept up by the fierce gusts, forming a vortex of scattered debris.
It was an unprecedented power, unlike anything Hinata had ever witnessed, and it filled her with a sense of dread.
A shuddering gasp escaped her lips, "I-Impossible," She whimpered, but despite the fear that gripped her, she stood her ground.
Besides, she could see Naruto's every move, and sense every step he takes.
There was nothing she should fear.
On that note, Hinata tightened her grip on her katana, and brought it before her in readiness, anticipating his attack.
And then it came.
Swift as a demon in the night, Naruto reappeared, descending from above with supernatural speed. He shot down at her like a rocket, bridging the distance between them in an instant.
With his deadly katana now drawn, he delivered a swift but controlled swing, his arm tracing a precise arc through the air as he aimed to strike Hinata.
But she intercepted it.
From her grounded position, Hinata swiftly lifted her katana with impressive speed, meeting Naruto's own katana with formidable force, causing it to crash against hers.
Their katanas collided with a resonant clang, the clash of metal echoing through the night.
Hovering mid-air, Naruto channeled all his strength into the strike, exerting force against Hinata. The sheer force of their clash sent a tremor through Hinata's arms, causing her to stagger backward.
Nevertheless, she anchored her heels firmly into the ground, resilient against the formidable force pressing upon her.
With quick determination, she regained her footing just as Naruto's legs collided with the ground floor, creating a resonant thud.
Now, he stood before her, meeting her gaze head-on.
Their katanas clashed and banged against each other, generating sparks that danced in the air.
Their blades shifted forward and back, producing a tense rattling as they grappled against each other's might-a moment where time seemed to freeze in the midst of their struggle.
It was then, through the brief encounter of their clashing weapons, that Hinata caught a glimpse of her adversary.
Yet, in that fleeting moment, she confronted a sight that made her blood run cold and her skin crawl, her heart sinking to the pit of her stomach. It was the sight before her that confirmed all her suspicions that Naruto was no human.
He was a monster.
A demon just as she suspected.
Right then and there, she observed a great transformation in Naruto's eyes—blue fading to crimson, round pupils morphing into slits. His nails transformed into razor sharp claws as he tightly gripped the handle of his katana.
A wide grin adorned his tanned face, stretching from ear to ear, his whiskered marks now appearing elongated and untamed.
With such a smile displayed, Naruto revealed pronounced canines, sharp enough to protrude beyond his lips. By that very smile he wore and the bloodthirsty gleam in his eyes conveyed everything Hinata needed to know.
Naruto was happiest reveling in chaos.
At that precise moment, he seemed to transform into some sort of creature from a source unknown, bearing striking similarities to the beast tattooed across his throat. The tattooed creature stared at her, mirroring Naruto's gaze, both born from blood and driven by an insatiable thirst for more.
Hinata sensed it.
She sensed it all.
The midnight blue-haired heiress stared in horror, the sight of her enemy's transformation momentarily causing her to falter in her stance, struggling against Naruto's might.
She found herself losing ground in the katana duel against Naruto, the balance of the battle ever slowly shifting in his favor as he began to overpower her in her moment of weakness.
Her lips quivered, "Wh-What the hell are you?"
Naruto purred, maintaining his bloodthirsty grin, seemingly reveling in the fear emanating from her.
"I'm your worst fucking nightmare, sweetheart. Unless," He tilted his head, his blonde bangs slipping over his red glowing eyes, "you surrender now. Surrender your clan, and surrender yourself to me." He uttered with a menacing hiss, his devilish eyes gleaming possessively.
His voice resonated with a deep, almost dual quality now, as if two voices were speaking simultaneously-the familiar timbre of his regular tone overlaid with a deeper, more demonic undertone, like an ominous presence lurking just beneath the surface of his speech.
Such a voice and gaze sent shivers down Hinata's spine, revealing the magnitude of the battle against a foe unlike any she had faced—a true monster, born of Yakuza blood, of demon blood.
With a fierce growl, Hinata channeled her chakra, thrusting her katana forward to push Naruto back with all of her might, momentarily stunning him.
She swiftly followed up with her gentle fist technique, pressing one extended hand against his abdomen, striking his solar plexus chakra point to forcefully propel him away.
"Never! Get away, you demon!"
With a grunt, Naruto's body was sent hurtling through the air, propelled away from Hinata due to the force of her attack.
However, even as he was thrown back, he swiftly reacted, his feet seeking the ground where he drove his katana into the earth to anchor himself and prevent being flung too far.
With his body hunched, and gradually coming to a stop, he quickly snapped his head up, a gleeful expression spreading across his face as he witnessed Hinata stumbling backward as well.
He jumped to his feet in an instant.
But just as he prepared to seize this moment of weakness and lunge at her, he found himself having to dodge an array of shuriken whirring through the air.
Growling, he executed a breathtaking side flip, his body arcing gracefully in the air.
As he whirled, he deftly wielded his katana, weaving a seamless defensive spiral around himself, the resounding clinks echoing through the air as the shurikens ricocheted off his blade, one after another.
With cat-like agility, he landed gracefully on his feet, crouching slightly to expertly deflect the final shuriken with a swift upward thrust of his katana just before his face.
He distanced himself from Hinata, pulling his head up, only to face the unexpected arrival of newcomers rushing into the courtyard.
Meanwhile, Hinata tumbled back with a gasp, due to the recoil of pushing Naruto away earlier, only to be caught by warm, familiar arms.
She gasped once more, snapping her lavender eyes up only to be surprised to tears at the sight of her cousin and sister standing before her-Neji and Hanabi.
Hinata gasped.
"Neji-nii-san." She acknowledged, before turning toward her sister.
"Hanabi-chan."
Hanabi beamed with warmth, her lavender eyes reflecting the hues of her elder sister's. Her brown locks cascaded down her back in a low ponytail, gracefully dancing in the tumultuous night wind.
Draped in a traditional kimono adorned with cherry blossoms, also donning the distinctive colors of the Hyūga clan, she exuded both elegance and resilience, cementing her position as a formidable ally ready to stand by Hinata's side. Just as she did her father's.
In contrast, Neji crouched with composed calmness while cradling Hinata.
His long brown hair cascaded down his back, also tied in a low ponytail, and the prominent Hyūga clan symbol adorned the back of his kimono, the same as Hanabi's and Hinata's.
His Byakugan eyes, activated and piercing, surveyed the chaotic scene with unwavering focus, picking up even the most diminutive details.
At that very moment, a wave of Hyūga clan ninjas rushed into the courtyard, dozens upon dozens of them, deftly encircling Naruto. All were dressed in white, their attire adorned with the Hyūga clan's symbol.
The synchronized patter of their footsteps formed a rhythmic cadence, a testament to their disciplined training.
The air resonated with the subtle jingling of weapons strapped to their gear, the sound of metal and equipment in motion echoing as they closed in around the blonde intruder.
"Intruder! Cease your actions immediately!"
"You dare lay a hand on Lady Hinata! Infiltrate the Hyūga compound!"
"Prepare to face the full might of the Hyūga clan, fiend!"
Their muffled voices blended together, all barking through their face masks as they sought to circle Naruto.
Meanwhile, he nonchalantly took a stand, glancing around at the newcomers through his blonde hair, his red-glowing eyes piercing through.
Gently, however, Neji and Hanabi assisted Hinata back to her feet, their grip remaining firm.
Neji surveyed the scene as he did before he turned back toward Hinata, cradling her left shoulder comfortingly.
"Lady Hinata, are you alright?" He uttered concerningly, "It seems we came just in time."
Hinata nodded happily, smiling, "H-Hai. I-I'm fine, a bit shaken up, but I'm all better." She turned back toward Hanabi, sending a smile at her.
"Now that you two are here."
Hanabi frowned, incredibly worried just like Neji. But she blew out a sigh of relief to hear her elder sister's response.
"Oh, well, that's a relief." She breathed, "It's good to hear that you're okay, onee-sama. We heard the commotion and made sure to get here as fast as we could." She announced, with a rub of Hinata's right shoulder.
Hinata, still catching her breath, managed a grateful smile, "Arigato, both of you."
"D-Demo, what's g-going on?" The brown-haired girl turned toward Naruto, the very intruder that had infiltrated their compound, and insisted on posing a serious threat.
"Who is that?" Hanabi narrowed her lavender eyes, switching them back over to Hinata.
"Who is that man?"
"That is no man," Neji remarked solemnly.
"He is what is known as the Kyuubi-the demon lord."
Neji's response cut through the tension, his voice firm as steel, directing a nod toward Naruto's menacing presence from afar.
Hinata and Hanabi gasped in unison, their heads snapping back to Neji in shock.
Hanabi gasped, "N-N-N-Nani?"
Hinata furrowed her brows, "The Kybuui?"
She nodded towards Naruto from afar, "You know this fiend?"
Neji shifted his gaze toward Hinata, his countenance growing solemn, the gravity of the situation etched on his features.
He nodded, "Hai, Lady Hinata."
He frowned, "Your otou-sama, Lord Hiashi, has always made it his life's mission to keep fiends like the Kyuubi away from you, for your safety." He turned to Hanabi, and his eyebrows furrowed.
"You too, Lady Hanabi."
Hanabi whimpered.
Neji released a shaky sigh, casting a hesitant glance back at Naruto, who was diligently surveying his adversaries with those fiery red eyes of his.
Eerily slow, he turned his head, taking in the sight of the white-clad ninjas encircling him in three rows, forming a perfect spiral with him at the center.
The brown-haired Hyūga shuddered, "But with him being here now, things have certainly taken a turn for the worse."
Neji shook his head, "I shouldn't soften the truth," He said with a bow of his head.
"Hinata-sama,"
He turned toward Hanabi, a look of sheer terror flashing before his eyes which frightened both women.
"Hanabi-sama."
Neji gulped, a sense of unease settling deep within him.
This is bad; really bad.
With the abrupt intrusion of Naruto in the serene sanctum of the Hyūga compound, Neji couldn't ignore the stark realization that a profound shift has occurred, thrusting them into the throes of a war that was certainly unexpected.
When Hiashi was still alive, Naruto and his clan wouldn't have dared to approach the Hyūga compound, let alone attempt an infiltration.
This never happened during Hiashi's reign.
But now...
Neji sneaked a glance at Hinata, sighing as he eyed her delicate features. His concern deepened as he followed her gaze, watching her narrowed lavender eyes fix themselves on Naruto through the gaps of their army.
Neji sighed shakily, unable to shake his worry.
He couldn't deny the facts. He couldn't deny that he's been worried lately about Hinata's reign.
She was relatively new to leading the clan, having assumed the role only a few months ago.
Even with a lifetime of training, sharp wit, and unwavering determination, Hinata hadn't quite figured out the ins and outs of the yakuza world or even solidified her authority yet.
Her sheltered life under Hiashi's protection has left her blissfully unaware of the secrets lurking in the shadows of the yakuza world.
Even Neji couldn't deny that, in a sense, Hinata was like an innocent baby.
She had no blood on her hands, no crooked thoughts roaming her head, and no ambitions to conquer others for her own benefit, not when compared to the other clan leaders.
Not like Naruto or even Hiashi.
Neji feared and has feared for a while now, because of her inexperience, she hasn't truly grasped the full extent of the threats that loom over her and the clan-day in and day out.
Hinata remained entirely oblivious to the dark secrets within their rival clan, the Uzumaki.
She was oblivious to Naruto's true nature, completely not knowing of the beast he willingly accepted to have sealed inside him for the sake of his clan.
The very fact that Naruto infiltrated the Hyūga compound alone, driven by a desire for domination, made it clear what he thought about her and her leadership-a complete and utter joke.
Neji let out another shaky breath.
This is not good; not good at all.
Neji understood the seriousness of the situation fully, especially concerning the safety of Hinata and Hanabi.
There was no other way around it.
Naruto's here.
He's here, inside the Hyūga compound, at their doorstep at last.
That means they need to bring a stop to Naruto; anyway possible.
Act fast.
Make decisive moves.
Bring an end to the Kybuui.
Neji swallowed hard, breaking free from his brief trance. He turned back to Hinata and Hanabi.
His frown deepened, ultimately responding to the earlier question posed to him, "Naruto Uzumaki is known by many names, but he's primarily recognized as the Kybuui-a human turned into a monster, hosting a demon fox-bred by the Namakizae clan themselves." He explained with a shake of his head.
"Only a select few elders knew rituals to keep him at bay-only a few."
Hanabi let forth another gasp of shock, covering her mouth with one hand, horrified.
Hinata's breath hitched, "A d-demon fox? Rituals?"
The revelation that Naruto, their rival clan leader, housed a demon fox sealed within him left Hinata utterly perplexed. She had never heard of anything so absurd before, or rather, her father had never shared such crucial information.
'Why wouldn't otou-sama tell me this? Why did he keep it a secret?' She questioned herself in her mind.
It seemed extremely odd, considering her father was usually open about clan matters or anything she had questions about.
The fact that her father had never mentioned or instructed her about the rituals Neji spoke of, specifically crafted to counteract threats like Naruto, left her questioning everything she thought she knew. It raised concerns about what other secrets her father might have kept from her.
There was so much she didn't know.
"Oh my kami," Hinata panicked, "it seems matters just keep getting worse and worse." She breathed, shaking her head, now realizing that the man, no, the beast who had infiltrated her home, threatened her clan, and sought to claim her was more than what meets the eye-in the worst way imaginable.
It only intensified her desire to erase him.
Neji bit his lip as he eyed the frustration that etched across his heiress's face, and he bowed his head, "Gomennasai, but I also must inform you, Lady Hinata, that ever since Lord Hiashi's death, the other elders seem to have vanished as well. They've disappeared completely and so-"
Hinata let out a sigh of frustration, snapping her head toward him, "Good kami, and you're just telling me this now?" She screeched, "Why hasn't anyone thought to inform me of these matters?"
"Y-You were grieving, Lady Hinata, I didn't want-" Neji's mouth opened, but the words he intended to say were certainly not ones Hinata wanted to hear.
She shook her head dismissively, turning her attention back to Naruto, her eyes hardening.
"It doesn't matter now." She spat, silencing him.
"What matters is the looming battle we now face." She acknowledged solemnly, "Our compound has been infiltrated by a fiend that won't take a hint." She growled, and from the distance, she could hear the blonde intruder laugh, as if reacting to her response.
Hinata's determination flared, "A fiend that wishes to claim what my father has sacrificed so much for, fought for, devoted his life for, and died for."
She shook her head.
"We need to stop him."
"Hai, Lady Hinata." Neji agreed, "Don't worry. We won't let Naruto bring harm to the clan. We will make him regret ever trespassing our sacred grounds and demanding to claim what's rightfully ours." He declared with a nod, his luminescent white eyes intensifying.
"We will try to stop him with all the power we have. Demo..." Neji frowned, "I am afraid it is not safe for you here, Lady Hinata. You must seek shelter elsewhere-"
"No," Hinata waved her hand at Neji's request, scoffing at the mere notion of hiding, and deserting her people.
She withdrew her katana, pulling it up by the handle, "I must stay here. I must." She turned toward Hanabi who gave her a pout, a pleading look to reconsider.
Hinata moved one hand forward, gently caressing Hanabi's head with a tender touch.
Her fingers delicately weaved through her sister's soft brown locks, a soothing gesture she often did to alleviate her worries.
"I will be fine, my dear sister. But this fight is mine, just as much as it is yours." She turned her head yet again to lock eyes with her cousin, their gazes meeting.
She smiled faintly.
"We're in this together. What threatens the Hyūga clan," Hinata turned her determined gaze back toward Naruto, breathing deeply.
"Threatens us all."
Naruto couldn't help but grin, suppressing the urge to burst into laughter.
'Oh, how naive.' He thought to himself with a snicker.
He stood firm, encircled by white-clad ninjas frozen in position, daggers, kunai, and katanas pointed at him from all angles and sides.
Naruto remained completely still, showing no inclination to interact with the men around him. Instead, he simply stayed in place, his amused gaze fixed on Hinata.
His keen ears perked up as he attentively listened to her hushed conversation with her cousin and sister.
With each mention of him, Naruto's grin broadened, and every time Hinata cast him a deadly glare, her stunning lavender eyes retaining the legendary Byakugan, he felt his insides melt.
She was so beautiful, even at a time like this.
The glow of Hinata's lavender eyes penetrated through the crowd of Hyūga ninjas, once more putting him back in the spotlight.
Finally.
Naruto snorted, "Oh, how dramatic. There was no need for it to escalate to these lengths, my love-"
"Don't call me that," Hinata snapped back, her fuming words cutting through the air.
Unfazed, Naruto continued to speak as if her protest hadn't been uttered at all, his deep, demonic voice booming across the courtyard.
"Everything will be fine, and your people wouldn't have to die if you would simply surrender yourself and your precious clan to me." He tilted his head, "Just set it all in my hands, my love, after all, I will take real good care of both if that's what you're worried about."
At that very moment, the Hyūga ninjas raised their voices in perfect unison, creating a potent resonance of protest that echoed throughout the entire courtyard.
"We won't yield to the Uzumakis'! Lady Hinata is under our protection!"
"You're not getting past us! We'll defend our heiress with everything we have!"
"We won't let her or our clan fall into the hands of someone like you!"
Naruto's eyes narrowed, red irises flickering with irritation as the collective resistance of the Hyūga echoed in his keen ears from all angles.
Now he's starting to get angry.
He growled, "Stubborn fools. You'll all regret defying me."
Hinata released a deep breath amid Naruto's mini temper tantrum, still recovering from the revelation Neji just told her.
She stood tall in her stance, flanked by her cousin and sister.
Her lavender eyes blazed with resolve, entirely rooted on the blonde demon from afar.
"I've said it before, and I'll say it again. We won't surrender to the likes of you. The Hyūga clan will do everything in its power to defeat you, right here, right now!" She yelled, her usual gentle voice transforming into a ferocious roar.
Naruto hummed lowly in response.
Despite the defiant words from Hinata, the blonde yakuza leader displayed a calm anger-an eerie, silent rage that simmered beneath the surface.
His expression remained composed, but the intensity in his crimson eyes betrayed the storm of emotions brewing within him.
Now, he's starting to get pissed off.
His patience was running thin.
He's given Hinata numerous chances, to the extent that he was just being too fucking nice now.
Warning after warning, yet she continued to resist, refusing to acknowledge the extent of his generosity.
She just refused to make the right call for everyone, to save her people, herself from heartbreak, and to avoid a battle she couldn't possibly win-just wouldn't simply submit.
Naruto snorted.
That's fine; it just means he has to teach his little heiress a lesson first-one she'll never forget.
The blonde demon seethed, shifting his stance from left to right, baring his sharp canines.
"Oh, what a foolish girl you are. Do you not realize that everything you do is futile? No matter what you do, how many times you protest, how hard you fight, or where you hide, I will inevitably get you and your clan in the end, Hinata." He spat darkly, his red eyes gleaming.
"Your time is up."
He pointed at all the ninjas surrounding him with a single clawed finger, "Your people will die here tonight, Hinata." He then shifted his finger and pointed directly at Hanabi and Neji, freezing them both in their spots.
His lips stretched even wider apart, "Your family will die here too-"
Hinata shook her head, her breath hitching, "N-No, it is you that shall die-"
Naruto laughed, throwing his head back in amusement, "Oh, how cute. Let's speak realistically here, my love."
He lowered one hand to readjust his harness vest along his body, allowing his intense gaze to scrutinize the rows of ninjas in front of him.
"Now, before we proceed with the inevitable, I believe it's only fair to extend an offer, considering my benevolence and fondness for your precious heiress," He nodded over to Hinata, "to you, my love-"
"An offer?" Hinata sneered, "Are you kidding me? You're in no position to make any offers-!"
"Shh, love." Naruto hushed Hinata with an amused gesture, placing one finger against his lips.
Shortly after, he reached into his pants pocket, retrieving a yen coin. A ¥500 coin, to be exact.
He held it up, for all to see.
"Here's a token of my mercy." Naruto declared, holding up the silver yen coin between his fingers.
"Should any one of you submit and decide to pick up this coin," He trailed off, turning his head to stare each ninja surrounding him dead in the eye.
He smirked, "You'll be spared from my blade."
Naruto's demonic voice echoed loudly in the courtyard as he held the coin overhead, the booming sound reverberating through the air.
The glint of the coin between his fingers caught the moonlight, making it seem almost ethereal as he presented it to the gathered Hyūga ninjas, and Hinata, Neji, and Hanabi.
"However," He yelled out, boldly as ever, "be warned, once this yen coin is claimed, the one who picks it up will no longer be loyal to the Hyūga clan. Instead, their allegiance will shift to me. They'll be indebted to me and only me for as long as they live."
Naruto's words were accompanied by a dark smirk playing on his lips, his gaze ultimately drifting to fix on Hinata through the crowd.
The intensity of his stare bore into her, conveying his eagerness to witness her reaction to his offer.
He eagerly drank up the one she gave him.
A groan of want escaped him.
Hinata was utterly breathtaking to him.
Even when displeased.
Her head was lifted high, and those glowing lavender eyes of hers gleamed brighter, narrowing with a dismissive look as if she were looking down on him. Her little button nose wrinkled slightly, and the corners of her crimson-stained lips parted just enough to release a scoff of displeasure.
His proposition reverberated across the quiet courtyard, a subtle challenge that cast a looming shadow over the Hyūga clan and their perceived strengths, emphasizing the gravity of the decision ahead.
Every soul in the courtyard feasted their eyes on the coin he held, their expressions a mix of either of the two: seething anger or disdain.
Naruto waved the coin in the air once more, "That is my offer, and it's here for the taking-for any one of you."
Naruto advanced, gently setting the coin in the grass before his feet, making it accessible for everyone. The coin shimmered in the moonlight, a subtle glint that couldn't be easily overlooked.
Standing tall again, Naruto drew his katana forward, pointing it menacingly at everyone around.
A malevolent glint even manifested in his crimson eyes, signaling imminent danger.
"Now, for the rest of you, I will show no mercy. I will rip every single one of you limb from limb." He growled while harboring an ear-to-ear grin, "I will not stop, until this entire fucking courtyard is painted red with your blood." He then turned his katana to point it directly at Hinata, his red eyes glowing brighter.
"And I want you to watch."
Hinata seethed in response to the menacing threat Naruto presented, her chest heaving in utter frustration.
"Enough talk!"
Her shout resonated in the courtyard, accompanied by a defiant shake of her head, strands of hair blowing in the wind across her pale face.
"Prepare to face the might of the Hyūga clan and be stripped of the very pride that taints your soul."
The midnight blue-haired heiress turned her attention and swiftly issued commands to her clan.
"Now, all warriors! Get in your positions and prepare yourselves!" Hinata yelled once more, her perceptive gaze sweeping across her ninja army.
"Prepare to attack!" She let out a resounding roar, a powerful command that swiftly prompted the entire Hyūga army to snap into their battle stances without hesitation, responding in unison with a thunderous-
"Hai!!!"
Naruto chuckled darkly, the sound rumbling from deep within his chest.
Unfazed and exuding confidence, he shifted into his battle stance as well. But just before launching his attack, Naruto's eyes locked onto Hinata again.
He smirked through his fallen blonde bangs, "Just keep my offer in mind, love. You might need it."
Hinata scoffed at the mere notion, her eyes narrowing with disdain, "Your proposal means nothing, demon. Just shut up and fight." She retorted snappily.
Naruto put up a wicked grin, pulling his katana up before him, readying himself for what was to come.
"We'll see," He declared, a sense of finality hanging in the air, signaling that the time for conversation was now over, and the battle was just about to begin.
But it was only after those chilling words were spoken, after the initiation for battle was finalized did Hinata witnessed all hell break loose.
The Hyūga ninjas, acting in unison, released a formidable battle cry, the sound reverberating through the compound and practically shaking the very walls.
"For the Hyūga clan!!"
Naruto unleashed a primal roar of his own, a thunderous sound that cut through the Hyūga clan's battle cry.
"Come on," He bellowed in a blood rage, "all of you! Come and meet your fucking end!"
The moment had arrived.
In that very second, the courtyard was transformed into a sea of white as the Hyūga ninjas boldly surged forward, toward Naruto, breaking out of their stances at last.
They moved in perfect sync, the soft patter of their footsteps crescendoing into a thunderous roar as the Hyūga army closed in on their red-eyed opponent.
Under the ethereal glow of the moonlight, the determined faces of the Hyūga clan members ran forward, pumping their legs with all their might.
Simultaneously, the wind seemed to intensify, gaining speed and ferocity as if forewarning the imminent battle about to unfold.
It almost felt as if the wind fed off the rageful emotions of the Hyūga clan, fighting desperately for their survival against the lone demon in the center, who sought only chaos.
Each ninja ran with precision, actively forming a formidable barrier around the blonde yakuza leader, intending to overwhelm him.
Alone in the courtyard's center, Naruto awaited the impending onslaught with anticipation. Crimson eyes gleamed in the darkness, a wicked grin splayed across his whiskered face.
Naruto's hands twitched around his katana's handle held up by his face, primed for wreaking havoc.
And finally, the time had come.
As the Hyūga ninjas finally closed in, Naruto sought the element of surprise as his advantage.
He took the high ground.
Swiftly, and unexpectedly, he sprang high into the air with one giant leap, removing himself from the middle of the crowded ninjas to elevate above them into the night, causing a collective gasp to spring forth.
In mid-air, he skillfully retrieved shrikuens from the harness strapped to his body, yanking them from their positions with his free hand, gripping his katana handle tight with his other.
'There!' He thought silently, hurling the weapons down with deadly accuracy and inhuman speed.
With just a glance, he selected his targets and observed as the shurikens whirred in a perfect downward spiral through the air, heading directly toward the crowded group of ninjas below.
The shurikens found their marks among his approaching foes in no time.
Some deflected the weapons with their own, others skillfully dodged, and there were even some unfortunate ones that were impaled, forcing them to their knees with agonizing cries.
Naruto soared above them all amid the starry night sky. His clothing and blonde hair was stirred by the wind, rushing back and forth as he lorded over the ninjas below, seemingly defying gravity.
His crimson eyes glowed as he casually scanned the battlefield from above, effortlessly counting every single one of his adversaries with a mere mouthing of his lips.
A smirk played on his lips as his gaze zeroed in on one of the fallen, a ninja brought to his knees by the shuriken he threw earlier.
Seizing the opportunity, he shot himself downward, colliding with his selected target with formidable force. The impact resulted in a billowing cloud of dirt upon him hitting the ninja and then the ground, prompting many of the surrounding ninjas to stagger back with collective groans.
As the dust cleared, Naruto stood hunched over triumphantly atop the fallen ninja, now embedded into the ground. His blonde hair partially covered his crimson eyes, blood splattered across his clothes, and his katana firmly lodged in his adversary.
In one swift and fluid motion, Naruto withdrew his katana from the lifeless ninja beneath him. The limp body shifted along the grass like a sack of potatoes, and as the katana was pulled away, more of the deceased male's blood sprayed out like a sprinkler, all over Naruto's body.
Not that he minded.
In fact, Naruto planned to paint the entire courtyard red by the time he was done.
That was only the beginning.
Driven by a thirst for more blood, he swiftly executed a follow-up attack, faster than the speed of light.
With a mere flick of his wrist, Naruto sent his blade in a swift arc around his body, slicing through the bewildered ninjas rushing at him.
His katana gleamed in the moonlight, leaving a trail of vivid red as it met its targets, cutting through uniforms of white to seize the flesh underneath.
Naruto relished the screams that followed, closing his eyes briefly to marvel at them.
But his eyes snapped back open when he suddenly heard several brave Hyūga ninjas charge forward with battle cries to his left, attempting to close in on him and attack him simultaneously.
However, Naruto jumped forth, his agility unmatched, as he headed towards the approaching group of ninjas, ready to confront them in battle.
The night air was punctuated by the clash of steel as Naruto wielded his katana like an extension of his will, cutting through the air with precise counterattacks, parries, and lethal strikes.
Naruto's movements flowed seamlessly, resembling a meticulously choreographed dance that he executed effortlessly, a routine he knew by heart, like clockwork.
He executed flips, displaying a blend of force and swiftness, gracefully dodging and slipping past strikes the Hyūga ninja threw at him with an almost ethereal touch.
Accompanying these acrobatics were bone-shattering kicks delivered with precision, aimed at the jaws and legs of the unfortunate ninjas within his proximity.
Rapidly, his crimson eyes darted back and forth across the area, his mind operating at hyperspeed, fueled not only by the coursing adrenaline in his veins but also by the dark chakra surging through his chakra network.
And the entire while, that dark smirk never left his lips.
Never.
In the blink of an eye, Naruto settled on moving away from using his body as a weapon to skillfully employ his katana to inflict damage upon the multitude of adversaries surrounding him.
Executing a controlled overhead swing, he arched his blade above his head, meeting many of the ninjas' weapons in a rhythmic clash, the resonating sound echoing through the night.
With a growl and a shove of his katana, Naruto propelled the numerous ninjas backward with a strength that was certainly not human, forcing them to stumble back.
Effortlessly spinning on the tips of his boots, Naruto adeptly redirected incoming attacks behind him. He swung once more, using each of his swings to push the ninjas back from all directions.
Then, Naruto effortlessly circled back with a subtle twist of his body. His katana, now lower, sliced through the air, bringing a swift and decisive end to a few of the foes he had skillfully handled moments before.
Naruto exhibited an otherworldly speed, and this time, Hinata, with her activated Byakugan, observed from afar that he seemed to move even faster than before.
Much faster.
The blonde demon effortlessly zipped through the crowd of ninjas, seemingly unhindered, and with each swift movement of his arm, he delivered a deadly slice with his katana, piercing through their bodies with ease.
Each of his strikes, each one, caused the ninjas to fall to the ground, like dominos.
In a relentless onslaught, Naruto cleaved through the Hyūga ranks, severed heads, limbs and weapons soaring through the air like macabre confetti.
He cut down each of Hinata's men as if they were nothing, his white shirt increasingly splattered by the crimson flood of blood that sprayed from the fallen.
With every swing of his katana, Naruto's face, attire, and blade became bathed in the gruesome aftermath, but he didn't seem to mind.
Rather, Naruto reveled in it.
His laughter was a dead giveaway.
He laughed and laughed, and laughed.
"Hah! Is this the infamous Hyūga clan? Don't make me laugh!"
Naruto's laughter echoed through the night, a chilling symphony of amusement as he relentlessly struck down his adversaries.
"Come on! Give me more! Give me fucking more!"
Each swing of his katana was accompanied by the sickening sound of the blade slicing through flesh and bone and the cries of agony and death that followed each lethal stroke.
The once verdant grass and nearby trees became a canvas of gruesome art, adorned with splatters of blood.
Even a few blood splatters made their way across Hinata, Hanabi, and Neji's clothing, who stood back in horror as they watched in shock as Naruto took their army down all on his own.
One..
By..
One...
It was a sight unlike anything Hinata had ever witnessed before-a living nightmare.
The once serene courtyard, brimming with her father's memories and love, now was transformed into a gruesome bloodbath.
The place that housed her cherished world of peace and serenity was now forever tainted, a nightmare painted with the loss of many of her people's lives.
Hinata couldn't hold back the devastating gasps that escaped her lips, her hand flying up to cover her mouth.
"Oh my kami. How can this b-be?" She sobbed, shaking her head in disbelief.
"H-He's killing a-all of them."
The speed at which Naruto moved left the Hyūga ninjas struggling to keep up, their attempts to counter met with ruthless efficiency.
The bewildered defenders tried to follow Naruto's movements using their activated Byakugan, but even their heightened visual prowess struggled to keep up with his relentless speed.
Especially when he vanished behind them, reappearing in the blind spots of their kekkei genkai.
It was no use.
The Hyūga clan tried everything.
They even unleashed techniques unique to their clan, jutsu that had taken Hinata ages to master herself.
The Eight Trigrams: Sixty-Four Palms.
The Eight Trigrams: Air Wall Palm.
The Eight Trigrams: Palm Rotation.
And even...
The Gentle Fist.
The Hyūga clan threw everything they had at Naruto, yet he simply dodged with greater speed or, if hit, merely shrugged off the attacks as if they were nothing.
It was uncanny because the very techniques employed by the Hyūga clan were what earned them the reputation of being indestructible, considered one of the strongest clans in all of the Land of Fire.
These techniques, which targeted Naruto's body, were capable of damaging and forcibly closing one's tenketsu, disrupting chakra flow, limiting one's ability to use jutsu, move, and even capable of causing instant death.
However, when Naruto was struck by these attacks, he continued moving forward without faltering.
His body remained unwavering, treating the attacks as mere nuisances rather than threats.
He was completely unaffected.
With a mighty sweep of his katana, Naruto hurled a cluster of Hyūga ninjas backward, their bodies crashing into the cherry blossom trees with a resounding thud that shook Hinata to her core.
She watched with widened eyes as Naruto's fighting style grew more and more gruesome as the battle raged on, as if turning into a beast in front of her eyes.
Naruto moved effortlessly from one opponent to the next, akin to a cat chasing a laser, relentlessly until everyone around him was rendered lifeless.
The blonde demon propelled himself with wild spins and high jumps, through the open space, diving upon his foes like a savage beast.
He forcefully brought many to the ground, repeatedly stabbing them with his blade until the tamahagane steel was no longer visible beneath the coating of blood.
With feral growls, Naruto would leap up in a flash, and grab the panicking ninjas by their heads with clawed fingers, effortlessly tossing them around as if they were mere rag dolls.
Naruto was on a rampage.
Never once did he stop or hesitate.
Never once did he show any mercy.
He killed, and killed, and killed some more.
There were many more, an increasing number of Hyūga ninjas that flooded into the courtyard, only to encounter the same grim fate-Naruto's katana slashing through their bodies, limbs ripped from their sockets, and heads cleanly severed from their torsos.
All bodies emitted a sickening thud as they inevitably fell at his feet, the ninja's once pristine white uniforms now colored red.
It was a never-ending cycle.
A hellish ordeal that Hinata seemed unable to break free from.
Tears flowed down her cheeks as the echoes of death resounded in her ears once more, drowning her in the anguished cacophony of her people succumbing to a gruesome demise.
Her precious people crumpled to the ground one by one, their weapons clattering beside them.
The individuals she had watched her father train diligently as a child, the very ones who had even trained alongside her were now reduced to tattered remnants of flesh, drenched in crimson.
From start to finish, she watched the once determined and prideful spirits of her people become extinguished, meeting their demise at the edge of Naruto's katana or by his clawed hands.
"This can't be happening. This can't!" Hinata wept, her head shaking rapidly in denial at what she was witnessing.
Neji let out a deep breath, bowing his head low, "This is what I feared most." He breathed, hiding his sorrowful eyes among his brown hair.
"Yes, I have always feared that someone as formidable as the Kyuubi, would one day infiltrate our home, and bring the annihilation of our lineage."
Hanabi clenched her fists, her teary lavender eyes wide with shock and disbelief, "Oh k-kami, is there not anything that can be done? He's slaughtering our people!" She panicked, tears rushing down her cheeks uncontrollably.
"We have to stop this!"
Neji only remained silent, his expression grim. He gripped the edges of his montsuki kimono.
He needed to come clean.
All along, he's only been feeding Lady Hinata and Hanabi lies, aiming to provide them a bit of comfort any way he could.
He must confront that truth about himself.
Neji knew the severity of the situation, the threat Naruto posed not just to the clan but to their very survival.
At his core, Neji knew, the moment he entered the courtyard and laid eyes on the Kyuubi, that it was already too late.
There was no stopping him; no way of defeating Naruto.
But like a baka, he remained hopeful.
And now, many are dead.
It was all no use.
Neji gritted his teeth, bawling his fists by his side.
Hinata whimpered, trying to find her voice, "N-No, I won't let this continue on." She spat through her tears, "I won't stand by and just allow Naruto to destroy everything we have worked so hard to protect-everything we love."
She shook her head, "I won't let him erase us." She valiantly declared through tearful whimpers, and she was just about charged forward, to enter the battle and fight Naruto herself...
But, something stopped her.
A hand suddenly reached out and wrapped around her arm, halting her movements with a firm grip.
A gasp escaped Hinata's lips as she was pulled back, forced only to meet Neji's intense, but sorrowful gaze.
His hand tightened around her forearm, and he shook his head with furrowed brows.
"No, Lady Hinata," He uttered softly, "engaging in battle with the Kyuubi alone is not the answer. It's far too late for that now."
Immediately, Hinata sensed the urgency and despair in her cousin's voice; a shift from before.
His tone resonated with a desperate plea, prompting her lavender gaze to drop down and scrutinize the arm that squeezed her desperately, restraining her from rushing forward.
The grip felt tight, extremely so, conveying Neji's desperate yearning to keep her from harm's way.
Hinata scoffed, quickly throwing his arm off, her eyes demanding an explanation, "Too late? What are you talking about? How else do we stop Naruto?"
It was at that moment, amidst the chaos, Neji pulled one finger forward, toward something in the distance.
Hinata's lavender eyes followed, until she saw what his finger was pointing at-the shimmering yen coin on the ground, encircled by the bodies of fallen ninjas.
Hinata gasped sharply.
"That coin," Neji announced solemnly, his voice carrying the weight of a profound realization, "is the answer," He breathed, a moment of clarity that even brought tears to his own eyes.
It was a recognition of a harsh reality, a moment where he had to be completely honest with himself.
There was no other way.
"It's the only thing that can save us now. If you pick it up, Lady Hinata, our clan will be spared."
Hinata's eyes widened, disbelief and anger shaking her to her very core.
She found it hard to believe the words that just left Neji's mouth, and Hanabi shared in her disbelief.
The brown-haired girl's head whipped toward her cousin at lightning speed, her mouth gaping in horror.
At that very moment, their worlds crumbled once more, just as it did the night they lost their father.
Hinata's heart began to thud ruthlessly against her chest, her vision blurred, and all at once, she felt like she couldn't breathe.
She felt like she was having a panic attack.
She felt like she was going to die.
The words spoken over that coin, the deal engraved in its very essence, whispered in Hinata's ears once again, reminding her of the price anyone would pay, particularly herself, if she were to pick up that coin.
Naruto's voice reappeared, echoing like a haunting mantra in her mind.
"Should any one of you submit and decide to pick up this coin, you'll be spared from my blade."
"However, be warned, once this yen coin is claimed, the one who picks it up will no longer be loyal to the Hyūga clan. Instead, their allegiance will shift to me. They'll be indebted to me and only me for as long as they live."
Hinata sobbed upon the recollection, shaking her head for the umpteenth time.
No, she would rather die!
She shook her head desperately. "No, no, Neji-nii-san. We'll be spared, yes, but spared in shackles!" Hinata cried out, now reaching forward to grab his arm.
"Please, Neji-nii-san, you must think this through. If I were to pick up that coin, our clan would be no more. Everything my otou-sama has built, everything that the Hyūga clan stands for will be no more, and I will no longer be heiress but a sl-slave." She gave his arm a desperate shake, "We can't submit to Naruto, not like this. There has to be another way to protect our clan, Neji-"
"There isn't!" Neji's scream echoed through the chaos, his chest heaving with emotion.
He turned toward Hinata and Hanabi, his once-piercing Byakugan eyes now clouded with tears. The weight of surrender was palpable in his expression, the emblem of defeat etched into his gaze as tears streamed down his face.
"There is no other way," He whispered, his voice barely audible. His glossy gaze shifted between Hinata, and then Hanabi.
His frown deepened, "I have failed both of you. I tr-tried..." He whimpered, "I tried to persuade Lord Hiashi that you, Lady Hinata, were ready to learn what he knows about the rituals that can keep Naruto at bay. But he refused time and time again, always insisting it wasn't time, that you weren't ready, and now that he is dead..."
Neji shook his head once more, gritting his teeth, "It's too late. Without those rituals, without the very knowledge that Lord Hiashi knew, we cannot possibly stop Naruto. The Namikaze clan made sure of that."
"Stop it!" Hanabi cried out, "You're scaring me!" She sobbed, before she launched herself over to grip Hinata's arm tightly, bringing her closer.
"What would happen if onee-sama picks up that coin? What would happen to her-?"
"She'll belong to the Kyuubi."
The moment those words left Neji's mouth and realization struck, Hinata and Hanabi were frozen in shock, and soon after, the tears began to flow.
Hinata was practically hit by devastation as powerful as a snowstorm, its icy tendrils coiling around her heart and delivering a brutal squeeze, leaving her breathless and in agony, the gravity of Neji's words settling in with an unforgiving weight.
The realization that picking up the coin meant surrendering herself to Naruto, intertwining with the very menace that jeopardized her clan and claimed the lives of many of her people left her paralyzed, grief and fear swooping in to claim her.
Hinata would be bound to him-to Naruto.
She'd find herself ensnared by a war machine, a monster, a demon capable of slaughter and bloodshed, devoid of all love and compassion, thriving on the pain of others.
She would be forced to be indebted to the madman who openly revealed his obsession with her from the first moment he infiltrated her home, held captive by the fiend who had harbored years of desire for her.
More tears streamed down her cheeks.
"N-No." Hinata sobbed.
Neji released a heavy sigh, his heart burdened, "G-G-Gomen, Lady Hinata. It shouldn't be you. I shouldn't ask this of you, but as the heiress of our clan, you bear the responsibility for our prosperity and our survival." He bowed his head, "This is a heavy burden, and I wish there were another way, but in these d-dire circumstances, the coin is our only chance to protect what remains of our clan."
Hinata's eyes widened, her mouth opening and closing, utterly speechless.
The idea of sacrificing herself to save her clan was a burden too heavy to bear, yet the alternative-permitting Naruto to continue unleashing havoc on her people, erasing them from existence-was equally intolerable.
Hanabi's grip on Hinata's arm tightened, her own eyes mirroring the shock and fear that painted Hinata's face.
"No, onee-sama." She sobbed, burrowing her head against Hinata's side, "We can't let that happen. We'll l-lose her." Hanabi whispered, her voice trembling.
Hinata's lips quivered as conflicting emotions waged war within her, grappling with the weight of the decision she had to make.
'What should I do? Oh kami, what should I do?' Her mind raced in panic, the screams and clashes of battle intensifying all around her.
The cacophony of war and the pain of her people pushed her more and more toward the singular decision that now burdened her shoulders.
She turned her head, her gaze returning to the lone yen coin on the ground, encircled by the fallen, a symbol of potential salvation or irreversible doom.
Neji whimpered, his desperate gaze drilling into the side of her head, "Please, Lady Hinata, for the sake of the clan, for the sake of us all, make the choice. The longer we delay, the more we lose."
The weight of leadership, the burden of responsibility-the very reasons Hinata despised her role as heiress-were once again making themselves known as she stood on the brink of altering the fate of her clan forever.
The destiny of her clan rested in her hands, salvation or its demise hanging on the decision she needed to make in the next few seconds.
Hinata sensed the eyes of her people on her, including those who were no longer among the living.
A silent plea for salvation intensified the pressure on her shoulders, urging her to be the leader who would stand up and guide them out of this nightmare, even if it meant sacrificing herself and the very notorious name that her father had worked so hard to build.
But if it meant saving her people...
Tears welled up in Hinata's eyes as she steeled herself, the fight that once raged within her now extinguished.
She lowered her hands, grasping Hanabi's hand on her arm, and proceeded to gently guide her away.
Hanabi whimpered, "No, onee-sama, no, we have to f-f-find another way, please."
Hinata sighed, sheathing her katana, putting it away.
"I... I can't let my people suffer any longer." She breathed before taking a step forward, determined but trembling.
"Demo, if this is the only way..."
At that moment, even more tears rushed down her face, like a never-ending stream.
She shook her head, sputtering cries.
"Forgive me," She whispered, her gaze shifting from Neji to Hanabi, her remaining loved ones, taking in their appearances one last time.
Hanabi shook her head, her sad expression breaking Hinata's heart, "No, onee-sama, don't do this."
"No matter what happens from here on out," Hinata whispered, her voice barely audible over the chaos surrounding them, "always remember that I love you both."
With those parting words, she left her cousin and sister's side with her decision finally made.
Hinata dashed into action, heading straight for the yen coin on the ground.
Her sprint carried her into the midst of the chaotic battle, her footsteps blending with the cries of agony filling the air. But she ignored it all, even disregarding the desperate pleas from her dear sister.
"No, onee-sama!! Don't do this! Please, come back, please!!!"
Hinata pressed forward, her every step accompanied by the haunting symphony of clashing blades, anguished shouts, and the demonic laughter from Naruto.
Tears streamed down her cheeks as she ran, rushing through the raging wind that pushed her petite form side to side, threatening to knock her off her feet.
As she ran, her once elegantly pinned dark blue curls broke free, falling down her shoulders, sullied, and now dancing in the wind behind her.
Rushing through the battlefield, Hinata fervently offered apologies to every fallen Hyūga ninja she passed. Their lifeless bodies served as poignant reminders of the sacrifices made for the clan, of their unwavering commitment fulfilled.
They had vowed to fight until their final breath, prepared to lay down their lives for the sake of their clan.
And they fulfilled that oath.
In choked sobs, Hinata also whispered apologies to Hanabi and Neji for making the decision that would forever separate her from their sides, knowing it was their worst nightmare come true-her sacrificing herself to their enemy.
Hinata even found herself apologizing to her late father, Hiashi.
She failed him.
She failed to guide the clan to prosperity and success in his honor, neglecting to fulfill the legacy her father had tirelessly trained her to uphold.
She didn't even stand a chance.
And for that, a deep-seated hatred welled up within her, now aimed at...
herself...
'I've let you down, otou-sama. I've let everyone down,' Hinata thought amidst her sobs, rushing through the battleground of violence and despair.
Her relentless sprint represented a last-ditch effort to save her clan, even if it meant facing the ominous fate that awaited whoever picked up the coin.
She didn't care about that, of anything, only about her clan.
One more tear shed down her face.
"Gomennasai, everyone." Hinata whimpered tearfully, uttering out one last apology, just before she finally made it up to the coin.
It was there, nestled ever so peacefully in the grass amidst the casualties, prompting her run to come to a complete halt.
She didn't think.
She didn't hesitate.
Hinata stooped down, her hands and legs trembling as she reached for the coin.
And it was then, she finally picked it up.
At that moment...
The very moment Hinata placed the yen coin in her hands, a stifling quiet enveloped the entire courtyard, abruptly halting the clash of katanas and the screams of pain.
War's relentless sounds disappeared in an instant, and the wind itself seemed to hush, an eerie stillness that covered every corner.
It was then, when she looked up, Hinata found herself staring directly into glowing crimson eyes, towering above her, casting a long, menacing shadow over her crotched form.
Naruto.
Hinata's heart sank as she laid eyes on him, mere milliseconds before her after picking up his coin.
The monstrous being that had laid waste to her people just moments ago was now looming over her, one bloody hand tightly clutching his katana, dangerously close.
Her teary lavender eyes scanned Naruto's form, from head to toe.
His entire body was completely drenched in blood.
His once pristine white shirt was now drenched in crimson. The fabric practically clung to his muscular frame like a second skin.
Not only so, but his face, lips, and nose were entirely splattered with the blood of her people. Even his blonde hair was drenched in blood, the once vibrant spiky strands now dulled and weighed down, steadily dripping with the crimson substance and falling onto her cheeks.
She flinched, whimpering.
Hinata had never witnessed such a vast display of blood before-a gruesome sight that extended along the walls of her home, the grass of her compound's courtyard, and even adorning the body of her enemy, who seemed to wear the blood as some sort of badge of victory.
The amount of blood around her was utterly sickening.
She fought against the rising urge to vomit, holding back the retches that forced their way up her throat. The stench of the metallic substance was nauseating on its own, and it wafted off Naruto so strongly that it burned her nostrils.
Hinata shuddered as his crimson eyes bore into her teary lavender eyes. Those demonic eyes of his seemed to gleam with immense satisfaction, holding her captive in their gaze.
Hinata hated the way he looked at her.
The weight of her decision to submit to him, symbolized by picking up his coin, crashed upon her as she beheld his satisfaction. His crimson, slitted eyes glinted with pride, and a wide grin adorned his whiskered face, revealing his razor-sharp teeth.
The look he gave her spoke volumes, conveying a clear message that Hinata read loud and clear.
He won.
And there was nothing that she could do about it.
Hinata sobbed, giving her head a wild shake, causing her already disheveled hair to become even more so.
"Please, no more. N-No more," She sobbed in agony, staring into the crimson eyes of the bloody monster responsible for wiping out half of her clan.
At that moment, she raised her trembling hands, cradling the yen coin snugly within her palms. She presented the coin to him, bowing her head in submission.
Tears continued to stream down her face as she sputtered cries and pleas.
"I-I surrender." Hinata sputtered, "The Hyūga clan surrenders, so please, spare my people. I b-b-beg of you, please."
In the midst of her desperate pleas, Hinata found herself uttering apologies on behalf of her people. She acknowledged her earlier defiance, expressing regret for not surrendering when Naruto offered her the chance, and she sincerely apologized for it.
Hinata apologized for everything.
A torrent of emotions engulfed her-guilt, regret, shame, and disappointment-all crashing down on her at once.
Her lips just continued to move, and her tears just continued to flow.
"Gomennasai! Gomennasai!!"
She wept, "You w-were right. I should've listened to you! I should've-" More sobs escaped her lips, "I'm such a fool! Please forgive me-!"
"Shh."
Amid her pleas, Naruto finally broke free from his silence.
He slipped out a long, breathless shush, which seamlessly phased into a moan.
His satisfaction evident, he savored the sight of Hinata's surrender, as she bowed before him on her knees with his coin in her hands, her tearful pleas and apologies filling the air.
To Naruto, it was a beautiful sight-a realization of his dreams brought to life.
It was all he ever wanted.
The blonde demon clicked his tongue, accompanying it with a tilt of his head as he witnessed the midnight blue-haired heiress before him raise her head hesitantly upon the emergence of his voice, showcasing her teary lavender eyes, free of the Byakugan.
Naruto let out a deep hum before descending slowly, his body moving with an eerie calmness as he brought his katana across the back of his neck, eliciting a soft clink as it settled into place.
With deliberate movements, he positioned himself before Hinata's crouched form, supported by his sturdy legs.
He then pulled his bloodied, clawed fingers forward to clutch Hinata's chin.
With care, he gently held her delicate face in his hold, smearing more blood on her porcelain skin. His mere touch seemed to further taint it.
The spiky-haired blonde clicked his tongue once more in pity.
"Oh, my poor baby." He moaned once more.
"Don't worry, I forgive you, I do." He whispered against her lips, his warm breath heating her entire body up.
More tears fell from Hinata's widened eyes, and she let out a shaky gasp, "Y-You do?"
She watched as the blonde demon nodded, "Hai, I do." He responded simply with his grin remaining.
"You cannot possibly imagine how long I've waited for this moment, my little heiress." He shook his head, "Through numerous sunrises and sunsets, I have stayed awake, planning for this night, for this very moment to unfold." He growled, with his crimson irises spiraling.
"Your surrender," He cackled, "makes all the waiting, all the goddamn bloodshed, worthwhile." He declared while beckoning his head back to the gruesome sight behind him.
It was inevitable, his gesture only causing Hinata's eyes to shift to the scene behind him, but seeing such a sight again only made more tears fall.
"Oh k-kami." She sobbed, her heart crushing in her chest.
Bodies of crimson lay sprawled across the entirety of the once serene courtyard.
The bodies of her people, once alive and well, now lay stacked on top of one another, eerily still.
Body parts were torn apart, limbs and severed heads left deserted amongst the blood-stained grass.
Only a handful of the Hyūga clan remained now, tending to one another's wounds, tending to the injured.
Numerous among her remaining people cried out to her. Hinata could hear their pleas, urging her to reconsider, wanting to offer assistance.
Yet, all Hinata could do was shake her head, signaling them to stand down with her final non-verbal command-the last order she knew she could give.
She then shifted her eyes back to Naruto, who never once strayed his eyes away from her.
He wrinkled his nose at her, "Tsk, you weep for them?" He scoffed, wiping his thumb across her cheek, brushing away a tear, "You cry for the sacrifice your people ought to embrace. This is war, love."
Hinata frowned, meeting his gaze through her tears, "Oh kami, but m-my people..." She glanced back at them, and even more tears fell, "Oh kami, why? Why?" She screeched in agony, overcome by emotion.
Naruto tilted his head, more blood dripping down his chin from his hair strands, "Oh Hinata, Hinata, Hinata. This all would have easily been avoided if you had just listened to me." He gently brought his thumb over to caress her cheek, but Hinata cowered away, hiccuping.
"I never intended for this, my love." His voice underwent an abrupt change, and for a moment, it seemed he genuinely expressed concern, caring for her.
His eyes softened as he continued to wipe the many other tears that streamed down Hinata's face.
"I never wanted to punish you. I never wanted to hurt you, I told you that." He declared, "But sometimes, we must do the things we don't want to get what we desire."
Hinata whimpered, his words certainly not making her situation any better.
Her sense of guilt and regret deepened, prompting her to bow her head, "This is my fault; a-all my f-fault. I-I-"
Once again, she was shushed.
The blonde demon clicked his tongue, "All of that is in vain now, love. The battle is done, your decision has been made, and now, you must face the consequences like a big girl." He murmured, brushing off her regret, gently caressing her cheek in circular motions, mindful of his sharp claws to avoid scratching her.
"Now that you've picked up my coin, I shall grant you forgiveness for your earlier defiance, and your people's futile resistance. I'll also be nice to you, and leave the rest of what's left of your precious clan safe from harm, just as you have wanted." He scoffed amusingly.
"Now that you've submitted yourself to me, I'm willing to overlook all those trivial mistakes, and indeed, spare your people."
Hinata sighed deeply in relief, feeling a bundle of happy tears rush up from the inside of her chest to spill over, to spill down her cheeks. The amount of relief she felt at that moment was unfathomable.
More cries escaped her, happy cries this time.
"Arigato! Arigato gozaimasu!" Hinata cried out, ignoring the sorrowful looks that her people gave her from afar. Her pride, shame, and their opinions were all but irrelevant now.
None of that mattered now.
'Yes, my people will be safe. Neji-nii-san and Hanabi-chan will be safe,' She thought, a relieved smile playing on her lips.
However, her thoughts were abruptly interrupted by the reappearance of Naruto's demonic voice, pulling her out of her momentary relief.
Naruto suddenly leaned in closer to her, his lips brushing against her ear, "Ah, but don't forget, my forgiveness comes with conditions, my love. You and your clan are now under my control, and you will now become my jewel, my lover, my wife." He breathed along her neck, scanning her covered body up and down, claiming her with his mere gaze alone.
"You will stand at my side, all dolled up and obedient, clinging to my arm from now on."
Suddenly, Naruto's clawed hand descended, firmly wrapping his bloody fingers around Hinata's delicate throat.
She emitted a whimper, her widened glossy eyes directed up at him as he peered down at her with a lewd smile, his razor-sharp teeth gleaming.
"You belong to me now, Hinata," He purred, his voice carrying a sinister undertone.
"Now, say it."
Hinata's heart pounded in her chest, the pressure on her throat making it difficult to form words.
"I b-belong to you-"
"My name," The blonde yakuza leader growled, "say my fucking name."
Hinata whimpered, but swallowed her pride and spoke the words as obedient as she could muster.
"I belong to you, N-N-Naruto."
Naruto's eyes darkened, still not satisfied by her little murmurs.
"Louder! Say it like you fucking mean it," He ordered, leaning in closer with an eerie shift of his body forward. He even tightened his grip on her throat, causing her breath to hitch sharply.
He nodded towards the remaining crowd of her people, directing her attention back to her family, gritting his sharp teeth.
"Say it so everyone in this goddamn courtyard can hear you. Say it like your motherfucking life depends on it!"
At that moment, Hinata had to suppress the remnants of her pride, officially relinquishing the role of heiress, and obediently, she did as she was told.
She snapped her eyes shut, and screamed.
"I belong to Naruto!! I belong to you! Only to you!!" She screamed at the top of her lungs.
"Naruto, I'm yours!!"
The moment she screamed those words, the entire courtyard echoed with sorrowful cries from the remaining Hyūga clan.
Even Neji and Hanabi, standing afar, couldn't contain their grief, releasing heart-wrenching sobs as they crumbled to the ground, defeated.
Yet, Naruto basked in satisfaction, tilting his head back towards the night sky, unleashing a resounding, triumphant roar.
Finally, Naruto's dreams had come true, the moment embodying everything he had envisioned-a fusion of desires, victories, and the sweet taste of triumph. The realization of his dreams was sweeter and more exhilarating than he had ever imagined, even eclipsing all his previous victories combined.
Yes, this was different.
Not only that, but he reveled in the realization that Hinata was now exclusively his, the cherished jewel of the Hyūga clan now his to possess and mold at his whim.
He relished the privilege of having her entirely for himself in every moment of desire.
Oh, the possibilities...
Naruto's mind churned, basking in the glory of his triumph, his long-held dream of finally attaining his jewel now a reality.
He cherished the privilege of having Hinata by his side, on his arm, showcasing her beauty and allure to all of Japan. He even relished the admiration and envy of those who would behold her, recognizing that her very existence now held a deeper significance.
Hinata, was heiress no longer, but now a symbol of the strength and authority he wielded in bringing an end to the Hyūga clan once and for all.
Yes, he's done it.
He's finally done it.
The spiky-haired blonde sucked in a breath through his teeth, a long breath, "Good girl," He praised, as if her words gave him a power boost.
"Such a good fucking girl."
Hinata whimpered fearfully as Naruto leaned closer, delivering an unpleasant lick along her cheek, leaving a trail of saliva in his wake.
He kissed her forehead next, causing her to shudder away.
"I think you just earned yourself a nice reward. He moaned in her ear.
"And don't worry, I'll be sure to provide it for you personally once I take you to my compound, to your new home, sweetheart." He moaned, shattering the last remnants of hope for a happy future for Hinata.
Every fiber of her being plummeted, and tears continued to stream down her face.
She shook her head, the tremor of her body worsening, "N-N-No."
Naruto snorted at her reaction, "Y-Y-Yes." He mocked with a cackle, "But we'll get to that soon enough."
Suddenly, he released his grip on her, granting her a moment to catch her breath.
Then, he took a stand and let out a sharp whistle, the sound echoing through the night.
In response, tattooed men clad in black immediately rushed into every corner of the Hyūga compound, streaming into the courtyard from all directions.
Swiftly and roughly, they restrained the remaining Hyūga clan members, including Neji and Hanabi.
A cacophony of protests and pleas broke free within the entire area, all the remaining individuals of the Hyūga clan were forced to the ground where their hands were bound behind their backs.
Neji and Hanabi whined, struggling against their captors, wiggling about.
"Get your hands off of me!"
"Unhand me!"
Hinata gasped, her eyes scanning the men who had infiltrated her home-culprits she knew were associated with Naruto, evident from the prominent red spiral symbol adorning the back of their attire.
They were, unmistakably, Naruto's henchmen.
Hinata cried out, covering her mouth in shock, "Wait, please, don't hurt them! Don't-!"
"Relax, my love," Naruto hushed his precious jewel for what seemed like the thousandth time, smirking as he observed her clan being restrained, savoring the chaos he had orchestrated.
"Just collecting some extra cargo; after all, just as you are mine," He nodded over at her people.
"They are too."
With a dismissive wave of his hand, Naruto signaled for his men to press forward, to extend their search throughout the compound to capture every last member of the Hyūga clan.
"Search every room, every corner of this fucking compound. I want them all." Naruto demanded with a guttural growl.
At Naruto's command, several of his men swiftly exited the courtyard, their footsteps echoing through the halls as they fanned out to locate the remaining members of the Hyūga clan.
Meanwhile, the henchmen remaining in the courtyard efficiently lifted the captured Hyūga to their feet, their movements rough and efficient as they dragged them toward the awaiting vehicles parked just beyond the compound's entrance.
Blurs of white faded into the darkness. Their voices faded into the night, carrying away the last remnants of their resistance.
Hinata observed in devastation as, one by one, her people were dragged out of the courtyard, and ultimately out of their home.
Her gaze lingered on the retreating figures of Neji and Hanabi as they were escorted away.
She locked eyes with them as they turned their heads, and she gave them a silent apology through her eyes, her lips trembling.
In response, her cousin and sister both shared reassuring looks and encouraging words to try to erase the sorrow from her face.
"It's gonna be okay, don't cry, onee-sama!"
They said...
"Stay strong, Lady Hinata!"
They also said...
But, she knew they were only trying to comfort her, but she couldn't bring herself to believe their words.
They didn't even believe their own words; their eyes gave it all away.
Hinata's tears only continuously fell and her spirit crumbled further into pieces.
'This can't be happening. Oh kami, this can't be!' She exclaimed in her head in a panic. Her rapid breathing quickly shifted into hyperventilation.
Her tremors and heavy breathing were enough to alert Naruto and he turned his attention back to her.
Naruto's crimson eyes softened, a twisted hint of affection in his gaze.
"Well now, love, the time has finally come." He announced, before deciding to finally holster his bloody katana, placing the bloodied weapon back into its sheath along his waist with a resounding clunk.
"It's time for us to go." He added, extending his hand toward her.
Hinata hesitated, casting one final glance at the home she had always known, the one she was certain she would never see again.
Her gaze lingered on the familiar surroundings that were now tainted with despair and anguish.
The courtyard, once alive with laughter, training sessions, and family warmth, brought back memories of her youth, the precious moments shared with her father, and the serene times spent feeding the fish in the koi pond, reading beneath the cherry blossom trees, or imparting her training knowledge to her dear sister, Hanabi.
But now...
All those memories now bore a stain, the courtyard itself shrouded in an eerie silence, tainted by the aftermath of bloodshed and desolation.
This was not how things were supposed to go.
Not at all.
Hinata sniffed, her gaze reluctantly shifting toward the extended clawed hand before her, waiting patiently for her acceptance, longing for her touch.
His outstretched hand, reaching for her, marked the final recognition that would strip her of her heiress title and lead her into the new world she reluctantly submitted to.
This is it.
She knew that once she took his hand, there would be no turning back.
Her fate would be sealed.
Despite the loud voice in her head screaming for her to reconsider, to resist, Hinata shakily extended her hand towards Naruto's.
Her lips trembled.
I don't want this...
Her trembling hand drew closer and closer, and as a result, her mind grew more and more in shambles...
Not this... please...
Finally, Hinata placed her hand into Naruto's, a shiver coursing through her as their skin made contact. His clawed fingers curled around hers, enveloping her hand tenfold.
Someone, please save me...
The weight of her decision pressed heavily on her heart as Hinata took the first step into the unknown, leaving behind the life she once knew-an existence now ensnared by Naruto's dominance, now marking her as the prized jewel of the...
Uzumaki clan.
All the while, Hinata couldn't help but fear that the moment she crossed the threshold of the Uzumaki Compound, she would never be the same again.

AN: That was one hell of a ride, huh? I've said it before and I'll say it again, this story pulls no punches. It's as intense as they come.
To be honest with you all, I ventured into new territory with this part.
I really immersed myself in the core of the Hyūga clan, taking into account their resilience and Hinata's warrior spirit as the heiress.
I wanted to embody the boundless love she has for her people, and that she would do anything for them, even at the cost of sacrificing herself. I believe I haven't depicted Hinata in this manner as often-as a resilient leader with a compassionate, selfless soul who doesn't give in so easily.
I really wanted to capture the fact that she will fight with all her might before surrendering, rather than simply crying, pleading, and submitting so easily.
I also wanted to add a twist to Naruto's character by portraying him, not just as a scary yakuza leader, but as a demon, with the Kyuubi (Kurama) sealed inside him, to spice things up.
So, he's a double whammy, the whole shebang.
Additionally, I shed some light on the Namikaze clan, as they're overlooked in both the anime and my writing. Here, I hinted that Naruto's father was the one responsible for sealing the Kyuubi inside him, turning him into the ultimate weapon for their clan. (kinda like the anime, a little)
Of course, that's just the standard secret evil shit amongst the clans, and poor Hinata was kept completely in the dark by Hiashi, which turned out to be both a blessing and a curse, (more of a curse, tbh) as you all see.
But uh, anywho, sorry for the long ramble, but I wanted to provide additional context. Plus, I've put a lot of effort into this and I'm quite passionate about it, so your feedback and support would truly mean a lot to me! 💕💕
I hope you enjoyed it!
