"Enzo, are you ready?"

"I'm ready."

"Kol, are you ready?"

"I'm ready."

"...Let's do this."

The three men go to sit on the couch and Kai starts up the Fall Guys game. Their wives stand together with the arms crossed, shaking their heads.

"How did we marry such childish men?"

"Well your husbands are attractive and have accents but my husband is way more sexier, the better cook and very passionate."

"...I'm going to pretend I did not just hear you talk about my cousin that way." Ariel says after  closing her eyes.

"Hey, you're partially responsible for him and me of getting together. So you really don't get to whine about it."

They hear the front door open and close, then hear Kendra calling out for Clarissa.

"Cuz! Why are they three cars parked in front of your... No..." Kendra stops when she sees a grinning Caroline.

"Ken!" Caroline squeals and wraps her arms around Kendra's waist.

"Why must you be here?! Get off me!" Kendra tries to pry Caroline's arms off of her. "Stop hugging me!"

"Aww! Doesn't this remind you of Maze and Aunt Elle?" Ariel places her head on Clarissa's shoulder.

"Yeah..." Clarissa leans her head on Ariel's. "Aunt Maze would act like she couldn't stand mom but deep down she loved her... She would never say it though."

"...I miss her too."

"...Me too."

Kendra glares at a laughing Clarissa after arriving at the Salvatore school.

"Would you stop laughing already? It took like twenty minutes to pry her off of me!"

"Well you beat your mom's record. Sometimes it would take like forty minutes to get my mom off of Aunt Maze."

"Quite different with me. Your mother and I couldn't get enough of each other." Lucifer says as he approaches them.

"Eww! Grandpa could you please not!" Charlotte whines after she gets out of the car.

"Daddy, I missed you!" She squeals and hugs him. "And I'm going to pretend you did not just say that."

"Missed you too, my little devil. Also it's my job to torture you with the details of your mother and I. It's part of my job as your father. Sorry about that Lottie."

"What's so important that we had to be here, Uncle Luci?"

"Technically we had to come here anyway, cuz. We have work and Lottie came for Leon."

"You should have a look for yourselves. Go on inside. I'll be heading to your place, sweetheart. I have to see the rest of my grandchildren."

Lucifer kisses both Clarissa and Charlotte's heads and after he heads to his car, the cousins give each other confused looks. They then head into the school and on their way to her office...

"BESTIES!"

Clarissa and Kendra are suddenly tackled in a hug by none other than Ella.

"Ellen?! What the hell are you doing here?"

"Aren't you happy to see me, Kenny?"

"Cuddly!" Clarissa squeals.

"Well, one of us is." Kendra mutters.

"Oh, you know you love me!" Ella pulls out of the group hug. "Besides, I came to see my son and where is... Hey, there's my future daughter-in-law! Come here!" She says while grinning.

Charlotte gives a bright smile and hugs Ella.

"I missed you, Ella."

"Missed you too, sweetie." Ella pulls back. "Leon has been treating you good, right?"

"Of course. He's been the sweetest, taking me out on dates and he giving me the best hugs."

"He better be."

"Mom! I already told you over the phone that we were doing well! Do you not have any faith in me?"

"Of course I do but this is your future wife right here. 

"Now, how is my future nephew doing?" Ella rubs Clarissa's stomach.

"Good but you think it's a boy?"

"It's for the best, you girls are already dangerous." Clarissa and Charlotte roll their eyes playfully. "Look you can have another girl after! This one needs to be a boy! By the way, Kenny-"

"No, I'm not having any more kids! One is enough for me! Have you not seen Clarissa's children?!"

"Fine! We'll just wait and see how many grandchildren Anastasia gives you!"

"She will only give me one. She won't put me through the pain and exhaustion that Clarissa has put me through."

"Hey!"

"We'll see. You never know, Kenny... You never know."

"While you two continue your bonding, I need to go to my office. I have work to do. Ken, don't you have to check on Ana?"

"Oh yeah. Something about her breaking a barbell in two?" Kendra mumbles before walking away.

"We'll hang out after I'm done, okay?"

"Alright. I wanted to spend some time with these two anyway." Ella says while wrapping her arms around Leon and Charlotte's shoulders.

"You kids be good. Love you, my sweet girl." Clarissa kisses Charlotte's forehead before leaving.

"Love you too, mommy. See ya!"

After Clarissa enters her office, she hurries over to her desk.

"Okay. I'm here, sorry to have kept you waiting... I won't tell Kai about this if you won't."

Suddenly the door is slammed opened, revealing a shocked Kai.

"I KNEW IT!"

"Honey, it's not what it looks like I swear!"

"Oh really?! So you're not cheating on me with a whole chocolate lava cake?!"

"I... You... It's just..."

"I can see the fork in your hand! And I know that dad made that for you, there's no point in denying it!"

"...You know what? Fine." She stands up from seat. "Yes, I was about to dig in until you interrupted. I needed someone to fulfill my needs and this beautiful sculpture just happened to be here!"

"Oh! So I'm not good enough for you?!"

She fights back a smile. "...This cake is more sexier."

Kai closes the door and vamp speeds over to Clarissa, resulting in her laughter. As Charles is passing by his mother's office, he slowly comes to a stop. He shakes his head and quickly walks towards Kaleb who is walking in his direction.

"Turn around, don't go this way." Charles says as she turns Kaleb around and lightly pushes him forward.

"Why?"

"Mom and dad."

Kaleb sighs. "...Of course they are."

As Klaus and Elijah arrive at Mystic Grill, they are shocked by the familiar faces that they see sitting at one of the tables outside.

"Is that...? Elijah asks.

Klaus makes the first move and Elijah follows behind him.

"...Kol? Ariel?"

Recognizing the voice, the couple with annoyed expressions, turn to see Klaus and Elijah approaching them.

"Klaus, Elijah. It's been a while."

"Seventeen years... What have you both been up to? We haven't seen either of you in so long."

"Well, we got married of course." Ariel tells them as she show off her wedding ring.

"We did some traveling, ultimately deciding to settle down in Paris. Beautiful city but doesn't compare to my wife." He says, making Ariel roll her eyes playfully. "What about you lot? Still making people's lives miserable?"

"We just wanted to catch up, we haven't see either of you in so long. I have a daughter now, you should meet her."

"...Actually-"

"Mom! Dad!"

Klaus and Elijah show shocked expressions when seeing a teenage girl and boy come up to Kol and Ariel.

"Got us burgers, mom." The teenage boy says.

"And cotton candy ice cream!" The teenage girl squeals.

"You have other children?"

"Yep. Patience and Magnus were so excited to get younger siblings." Ariel tells them.

"Dad, is this...?"

"Yes, son. Klaus and Elijah Mikaelson... Do you two want to introduce yourselves?"

"I'm Alexander Kaiden Forbes."

"And I'm his younger sister, Veronica Charity Forbes."

"Forbes? Not Mikaelson?" Elijah asks with a confused look.

"Ah, that's right! I haven't told you... It's Kol Forbes now. Finn changed his last name too, letting you know." Kol smirks, saddening the Mikaelson brothers. "Now we should be going. My darling, my children."

"Wait! Did... Did you two know about Charles and Charlotte?"

Kol turns back around. "...Niklaus... Compare the twins lives to Hope's life... Who do you think got the better deal?" Klaus looks down at the ground. "See? Being a Mikaelson, it's a curse... But never once did I feel like a Mikaelson because it was always you two and Rebekah."

The Mikaelson brothers sadly watch Kol, Ariel and their children walk away. But Ariel stops and walks back to the brothers.

"While we're back in town, they're better not be any issues... You wouldn't want of repeat of what I did to you two for what you did to my sister, would you? You guys do remember her, don't you? You both used Davina as a tool for you own selfish gains and she almost died because you both."

"Ariel-"

"It's a good thing that my dad let me know so I was able to come get her and take her away. She has been able to live a better life since then. So don't cause any problems for people that I care about or don't drag others into your problems. Got it?"

"Get out of my office. We can't keep doing this, okay? We have to set a better example for the students-" Clarissa says as she fixes herself up.

"You're weren't saying that for the past hour." He says before kissing her.

She pulls away from the kiss and giggles. "You're very persuasive-"

"Pretty sure that's your power, not mine."

Before she can respond, someone knocks on the door.

"Clarissa, are you there?" Rebekah asks.

"Just a moment!" She hands him his jacket. "Take this and get out."

"You owe me. Be prepared." Kai pulls her in for a longer kiss. "Romantic dinner. Little bit of dancing and then... I'll be keeping you up all night. Understand?"

He smacks her butt, causing her to squeal and he grins on his way to the door. After he opens it, he sees Rebekah and Hope.

"Rebekah Mikaelson, right? We haven't met yet. Kai Parker." He offers his hand.

"You are Clarissa's husband? Pleased to meet the man whose kept her happy all these years." She says after shaking his hand.

"Oh no. She's the one who made me happy. She gave me something to live for... Now I have to get going. Nice seeing you, Hope."

"You too, Mr.-"

"Hope."

"Kai." Hope nods.

Before Kai leaves, he looks back at Clarissa once more and winks. Rebekah hears a racing heartbeat and smirks. 

"Ah... Come in! Take a seat!" Clarissa says all flustered.

"Thank you." Rebekah says.

After Rebekah and Hope come in, Rebekah closes the door and sits beside Hope in front of Clarissa's desk.

"So that is your husband. He seems quite wonderful."

"Yes, he is... So what is the reason of your visit?" Clarissa asks she takes her seat.

"I would like it if Hope could participate in Miss Mystic Falls."

"That's not possible. The sign up was months ago and then the girls have to go through an interview. The contestants have already been decided and the event takes place in a week. She would have to wait until next year to be able to participate. I'm sorry."

"No, it's alright... Clarissa-"

"The cute ones are here!" Charlotte says opening the door, with Lizzie and Josie tagging alongside her.

"If you're cute then what does that make me?" Clarissa asks getting up from her seat and walking over to them.

"The beautiful one!" Charlotte and the twins say with a bright smile.

"...Aww, I love you girls!" Clarissa lightly pinches all their cheeks.

"We should get going."

"See ya, Hope." Josie says.

Hope waves at the girls and is the first to leave. Before Rebekah joins her, she looks back at Clarissa.

"Clarissa... I'm glad that you're happy."

As Clarissa is surprised by her words, Rebekah smiles and follows after Hope.

"So you both saw Kol and Ariel... And they have children?" Freya asks.

"Yes... But just like Clarissa and twins, they want nothing to do with us." Elijah answers.

"How is Nik taking it?"

"Not good, of course... Kol goes by Ariel's maiden name now... Niklaus, Rebekah and I are at fault for that. We always left him out and whenever he wanted our attention, he would act up and I would allowed him to be daggered so that we wouldn't be discovered... Because of us, he never once felt like a Mikaelson..."

"...They're living their lives and from the sound of it, they are happy. We should leave them be."

"I understand giving them time but are you saying that we don't deserve a second chance with Kol and Ariel? Even Clarissa?"

"If they want us to be a part of their lives, let them come to us. They have their own minds, they can think for themselves. Same goes for Clarissa and the twins... Besides the twins grew up pretty well. They had Kai as their father-"

"Charles and Charlotte are my children! Not his!"

Elijah and Freya see a fuming Klaus standing by end the staircase.

"Niklaus-"

"I'm going out."

Both brothers and Freya are unaware of a certain tribrid listening in on their conversation from outside. She vamp speeds away before her father comes to the front door.

Clarissa sits on a bench in the town square, enjoying the scenery and lightly patting her stomach. However, her moment is ruined by a certain hybrid sits next to her...

"I remember how you always came out here to write. I always did practically enjoy your stories... You know, I recently found out that you became a successful screenwriter over the years. Happy to know that you were able to achieve your dream."

"Is there any particular reason that you're bothering me?"

"Don't be like that, love. I'm just curious to what put such a big smile on that face."

"...I'm pregnant, Niklaus." She says while still smiling.

After she gathers her things, she gets up and walks away from a frowning Klaus.

Flashforward

While looking for Kai, Clarissa finds him sitting on a chair on their balcony.

"Kai, we need to talk."

When he doesn't look at her and continues looking down at the floor, she sees the sad look on his face and she eventually notices a white feather on the floor...

"...Where's my dad?" He doesn't answer her. "Where's my dad, Kai?"

End of Flashforward

SURPRISE! FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT WERE HOPING IT HAPPEN, IT DID! 

OUR OTHER OTP, ARIEL AND KOL HAD CHILDREN! AND YES, THEY'RE BIOLOGICALLY THEIRS.

This was the reason why I was holding off on the main storyline for so long. I didn't want to reveal these characters yet because they hadn't been introduced in Ariel Forbes yet. Now if you guys did read Ariel Forbes, they were introduced at the end, so go check out Ariel Forbes - The Vampire Diaries now that it has finally been completed! 

So you guys won't have to wait anymore! More the main storyline of Clarissa Forbes is on the way!
