"My lady isn't anywhere to be found..!" The butler yelled out in hopes of alerting the other servants. He successfully did so, and as those words gradually was passed on, each one of them had horrified looks on their faces.

Just where was their mistress?!

Humming as you drove along the road, you simpered as your ears have heard the data your informant has gathered because of your orders. 'Hm, so a bombing, huh,' you thought, eyes boring unto the road in front of you as you tried your hardest not to crash into someone. "Based on what Yuki told me, the perpetrators just finished robbing a chocolate store.. How did he even get all of this information?" Muttering to yourself as amusement grew unto your features once you saw a car moving so recklessly, paying no heed to those around him. Plus, the model of that vehicle isn't something that commoners can exactly purchase.

"Kambe.. Tsk," just by uttering the name of your fiance irks you. He is the scion for whatever his family has going on. And you are the heiress of the L/n Conglomeration. Yet.. Yet why was he able to become an investigator while you couldn't?! You've already been in that department before thanks to your connections, but once your parents have found out about your little secret, they immediately went out of their way to halt you in your endeavours.

'This time, I'll have things my way,' the thought flashed your mind as you clicked your tongue, following the car that he was now in after he kicked the previous owner out of it. "So reckless..!" You commented as you speeded away along with it, following every twists and turn with the same speed to make sure that he wasn't out of your sight. And as you squinted your eyes, it looked like he had a companion or something.

Now, the movable bridge was taking its action as you remained on the corner of it all. There was a bomb there and you wouldn't take any chances. You shuddered at the thought of it exploding. Moments have passed and your eyes caught two unfamiliar people now hugging and crying. You remained still, until it all clicked- a devious smile now creeping its way up to your lips. Exiting out of your car, their attention was now directed at you. They moved their guards up, cautious of the new figure walking towards them.

"Ma~ you two are the cause of all this mess, huh?" And as they heard those words slipping out of your mouth, they were ready to bolt away, not until you immediately caught up to them, pulling the hem of their clothes so that they would stay put. "W-What are you doing?!" The girl with the pink hair screeched and it made you wince due to the intensity of her voice's volume. "Hm.. I wonder. For being the people behind a plan that had the chance of taking innocent people's lives, perhaps the proper action that I should take would be to torture you as much as possible," you paused. And even though their backs are facing you, you thew that they tensed up because of the words that you've said.

"Y-You're just bluffing," the male stammered, obviously in fear of what you may actually do. They knew that you were quite strong, able to pull them without much trouble and you were able to keep them in place without exerting any effort at all. So with all of these in mind, trying to fight against you would be a reckless move on their part and wouldn't actually bring them any good. "Who knows.."

"Yuki, make sure my guards would catch these two the first turn that these criminals take," you muttered underneath your breath. Your informant and butler was quick to assess the situation, immediately nodding as they made sure that your orders would be followed. The earphone you had on your right ear was used as a communicator, with it being small enough and your hair covering it, no one would be able to identify that there was a device such as that being used by you unless they did a closer take at it.

"Go." And your authoritative voice snapped them out of their tremors as they twisted their necks to look at their possible saviour. "You're just letting us escape?" The pinkhead asked, and you nodded, a smile on your face as you did so, making you all the more believable. "T.. Thank you!" They both muttered before immediately running off once you let go of them.

Once out of your sight, you just lightly laughed as you complimented yourself inwardly for being able to make that great of a plan out of a whim. "Thinking that they were off the hook, only to experience their freedom being taken away once their relief sets in.. Ah~ Just imagine the looks on their crestfallen expressions. It's so unfortunate that I wouldn't be able to witness it.." You paused, before continuing, a much wider smirk on your lips, "I couldn't think of a plan more cruel than this." You muttered before finally turning around, ready to head towards the Metropolitan Police Department to ease your way in back at the job you've always dreamed to have.

"Y/n. I knew you'd be here," and as he said that, you immediately met his eyes. Cold sweats began to be felt by you as you felt his non-faltering gaze on you. "Ah, hey! Nice seeing you here, Kam- Daisuke," you greeted him with a smile, your lips twitching for you were feeling quite shaken as of the moment. Nervous for you knew your act wouldn't work against him. "What are you doing in a dangerous place like this?" And as he asked that, he was slowly walking towards you while your feet stayed planted on the ground.

"Sightseeing." And you inwardly face palmed as that reply escaped out of your mouth in a desperate attempt to dodge his questions. "You can't fool me. I know that you did this for you wanted to have the same job as I," and  the distance around you two was only a feet. "Were you trying to accomplish that in hopes of trying to spend more time with me?" And there goes again that teasing smirk of his. "Hah. I'd die before even wanting to be in close proximity with you-" And you words were caught off once he snatched your wrist, pulling you closer to him as your head laid on his chest. He was certainly calm on the outside, but as you heard the fast beating of his heart, you realized that his cool front was only a facade.

"You made me feel worried," he paused, before taking in a deep breath before exhaling. "I was aware of the fact that you were following me. Your car foiled your plans, and, it was all just too obvious. That was why I was in such a hurry to finish this job. I wanted to check on you as soon as possible," he finished, and your eyes were wide as you took in all of his sentences.

"Hey.. You're too out of character." And a chuckle erupted from him before tightening his grip on you. Not too tight that you'd feel pain, but tight enough that you felt.. quite protected in his hold.

"Only when I'm around you."
