He went out without uttering a word.

I can't believe it!!

Did i just ordered him?

He listened to me?

Am i dreaming?

I pinched my arm.. ouch!

OMG!! Mr. James Ashton listened to me for the first time!

Should i celebrate?

I was dancing in my mind. A devilish smirk was plastered on my face.

''Liz..are you alright?'' Ben asked in concern.

''Yes! Ofcourse i am.'' I said smiling looking at her but my mind was floating on the seventh cloud.

He..he..listened to you Liz!! What a progress!!

Now stop hallucinating because you can't expect him to change for you suddenly...but what if he really changes for me?

Why is he so scared of my resignation? Why did he not want me to leave?

A shiver ran down my spine by remembering his words...

We spent all the day watching cartoons and disney movies.

The next morning i woke up with the same irritating alarm. I went to washroom and did the daily routine. Then i went to kitchen to make some breakfast but when i entered i saw there was already something waiting for me. I went to the chair and started eating.

Umm..nice cooking Ben..

Wait! What is the time?

I looked at the wall clock. It was still 8:15 a.m.

Ben has already gone?

From when is she started going early?

I was shocked. She was always late to office. I shrugged and resumed my eating.

After 8:30 a.m i was ready. I looked at myself in the mirror.

Should i put some lipstick or mascara?

That will be amazing to tease him!!

No! He will catch me that i have done it on purpose because i hardly put something on.

But..just one day..please.. let me see his reaction.

After debating in my mind i put a red lipstick an my lips.

That is looking...gross..

I changed it to light pink and put some black eyeliner which was looking amazing on my eyes.

Was i doing over?

Shut up! Just for today!

I smiled at the reflection and went out.

''Hi..'' i greeted the lady on the front desk who nodded.

I went to the elevator and before the door was fully closed a boy came running towards it and entered.

''Thank God!!'' He was breathing heavily.

I looked at him oddly.

Who is he? I haven't seen him till today.

''Hi..may i know..who are you?'' I asked trying my voice to be polite.

He snapped his head towards me like he didn't noticed me before. But when he looked at me his eyes lingered on my face for sometime.

I coughed and he averted his gaze.

''Hi!! I am...Diego.. Diego Martini.'' He smiled at me and extended his hand.

I was feeling uncomfortable at his gaze but..he was cute. He was tall, handsome...

Whoa! Liz stop there! He seems to be younger than you!

''Hi..i..am Liza Miller, P.A of Mr. James Ashton.''

His eyes widen then became soft.

''I heard he is very demanding. How did you cope up with him?''

Err..

''I..i... anyways who are you? I mean i haven't seen you here before.'' I asked raising my brows.

''Umm..yeah today is my first day...'' he started but the door opened to the cafetaria and he moved out.

''Catch you later.'' He said hurrying towards the kitchen.

I went to my floor and greeted Melissa.

''Hi Mel! How are you?''

''Superb! What about you? And i am really sorry that you went through all the things that happened yesterday...and the day before...''

''It's okay. Now please forget it.'' I said while walking towards my office.

His door was closed.

What if he is not present today?

My energy wasted on putting the lipstick and liner will go in vain.

I pouted at the thought.

I should check.

I took the files which needed to be signed by him and went to his office.

I knocked and entered.

He was there...sitting behind the desk..

I coughed but no response.

''Do you want something?'' His hard voice came from behind his file but he never looked at me.

Urgh!! You stupid look at me!

''Umm..these files are needed to be signed.'' I said glaring at his head.

''You may keep it here and go.'' He dismissed me.

Sh*t!!

I put the files with a bang and returned.

He hadn't looked at me once from the morning. Whenever i went to him either for work or for coffee he was always busy.

God!! He is such jerk!

He always keep staring at me but now when i want him he is ignoring me. Urgh!!

You wanted this Liz.

You wanted him to stay away from you.

Yes i know! But i wanted to tease him.

Soon it was lunch. I went to the cafetaria and sat with Ben and Liz.

''Hey have you seen the new handsome boy?'' Mel asked while eating.

She must be talking about the boy i met in the elevator.

''No! Who is he?'' Ben enquired.

''Actually he is our new cook. But he is too young and handsome to be a cook.'' She winked and i blushed.

I blushed at the thought that i too called him handsome few hours ago..

''Liz are you blushing?'' Mel asked with teasing wide eyes.

''What..no! Why will i..'' i resumed eating.

''You have already met him.'' She declared after sometime.

I rolled my eyes at her.

''Yes i have.''

''Wow! You already met him and we still haven't seen him.'' She pouted.

''Stop behaving like a teenager Mel!'' Ben scold her.

''Oh yeah shut up grandma.'' She said rolling her eyes and Ben glared at her.

I chuckled at their behaviour.

''Hey! Whats up'' i looked up to see none other than the same handsome boy of whom we were gossiping about.

I choked on my drink and looked at Mel who was drooling by looking at him.

''Sorry..hi'' i said awkwardly.

''May i join?'' He asked looking between us.

''Sure!'' Mel exclaimed and he took the chair beside me.

We talked about sometime and i came to know that he was 28 that is not younger than me what i was assuming. And he didn't have any place to live now. He is looking for an apartment with low rent.

We said our goodbyes and went to work.

It was already five and i was ready to pack up.

I took my hand bag and went out. I looked at his door.

Maybe i should try one more time?

I knocked and entered.

But as soon as i entered i regretted my decision.

What will i say to him now?

I came here for your attention?

Rubbish!!

''Will you just stand there or say something?'' He asked sternly while writing something.

Sh*t!!

''Err..i was going..so i thought i should..say..goo..i mean..thank you.''

Thank you?

''For what?'' His eyebrows were scrunched together but he didn't averted his eyes from the paper.

For staying away from me..for not bothering me..

''For...hiring Diego..?''

What? Really Liz?

It was the most dumb conversation ever.

Are you trying to make him jealous?

Now i think i need a psychiatrist!!

''What?'' He snapped.

My eyes went to him and he was looking at me.
