He suddenly left my hand and stood up.

''Bring me a mug of coffee.'' He said facing the window.

''Yes...sir...'' i said weakly and went out to my office to kept the first aid kit.

On my way to the kitchen i looked at the cctv camera outside his door...

Sh*t! That is why he always know if i am outside or not.

I averted my eyes and went to the kitchen. I made him another cup of coffee.

Is he really attracted to me?

No..how could he? He hates me... he think very low of me... but...why?

You should ask him the reason.

No! He will never answer me instead he will smashed the cup on my head.

Leave him like that Liz! It is his problem not yours. You do your own work perfectly and do not give him a chance to fire you.

I took the cup and started walking towards his office...i was feeling a little insecure...because this time i knew he must be watching me on the screen... so during my entire walk i looked at the ground.

I knocked and entered like i usually do.

He was sitting on his chair and reading some file. I put the cup on his desk and went out. He didn't spoke a word this time neither did i.

I was working in my office when Ben peeped her head through the door.

''May i come in?''

''Ofcourse Ben.''

She came and gave me a cup of coffee.

''OMG! Thank you so much Ben. I really needed it. And it never occured to me to make a cup of coffee for myself.'' I said her gladly.

''You are always welcome'' she smiled at me.

''Ummm...are you okay?'' She asked concerned.

''Yeah...ofcourse..why did you ask that?''

''Actually you are looking tired.''

''Oh...yes i am..you know i am not used to do all the chores..so i am getting tired easily.'' I said sipping my coffee.

''Umm..sorry about that. I didn't knew that they will make you do all the chores.''

Yes ofcourse how will you know!! How will you know that i gave a tight slap to the man who kissed me at the party and who happened to be my boss and so he is taking his revenge in this way.

''It is not your fault Ben.'' I said emptying my cup.

''Hmm..okay i need to go.'' She said and took the cup with her.

As the door opened slightly i could hear some voice...of a woman?

I got out to the front and came face to face with Mrs. Ashton.

What is she doing here?

''Hey! Hi Liza! How are you dear?''

She asked as soon as she saw me. I looked at Mel who was giving me a confused look.

''Hi..Mrs. Ashton.''

''Oh come on! Please do not call me Mrs. Ashton. Either you say Marian or...you can say me aunt as i am your mother's friend..or even you can call me mom.'' She was blabbering.

''Yeah...sure..'' one sec!! what did she tell?

''Hahaha... do not look at me like that girl. I was just kidding. Actually i wanted a daughter but i got James instead. I really like girls. Not in that sense.'' She winked at me.

''Oh..okay..''

''Do you talk this much only?'' She said while emphasising it with her thumb amd forefinger.

And don't you talk too much?

''No. I talk very much but..'' i started.

''What are you doing here?'' His cold voice roared.

''See what a polite question! This is the way one should greet his mother.'' She said rolling her eyes.

''Mom..''

''See Liza! That is why i was wanting a daughter. I am fed up with these two arrogant men in my life.'' She said sarcastically.

''Enough MOM! Tell me what are you doing here?''

''Cannot a mother came to see his son?'' She asked giving him a mean look.

''Oh My God!! What happened to your hand?'' She said while holding his hand and in an instant she became serious.

''James i am asking you something. How did you get this?'' She said sternly.

And for the first time Mr. James Ashton was looking guilty but he was trying to maintained his cold posture.

''Come to my office'' he said while walking towards his office and Mrs. Ashton went behind him.

There was a knock on my door and before i said anything the door flew opened and Mrs. Ashton came inside.

''Thank you so much'' she exclaimed.

''For what?'' I asked confused.

Where is your manner Liz?

''Mrs. Ashton please sit down.'' I said hurriedly standing up afterall she is my boss' mother.

''Please do not call me that.'' She said in a fake angry tone.

''Sorry..Mar...Aunt.''

''Hahaha do not be afraid dear. I am your boss' mother that does not mean i will complain something about you to him. You are always free to share your problem with me.'' She said smiling.

Yeah sure! How about this...your jerk of a son insulted me at the party then he called me a wh**e. He gave me marks on my waist and then he kissed me...

''Liza...Liza..are you hearing?''

''Sorry...i was zoned out..''

''Yeah i can see that. Anyways i thanked you because you bandaged his wound. I am really impressed that he let you do this because he never let anyone to cover up his wound. Either i have to blackmail him emotionally or he do it by himself.''

So he told her that i did that!

''Yes Ma'am it is my duty.'' I said in a bored tone.

''You do not like me right? That is why you are behaving so formal with me.''

''It is alright you can call me whatever you want. I came here to request you to look after my son.''

Look after her son?

''I mean my husband and i are going out of state for a while and i will not be here to look after him. I have never left him alone for more than a week or two but this i time do not know if i will be able to come soon. He easily gets mad if he did not gets what he want. He is like this from childhood. He once slammed his head on the wall so hard that he went to coma for two days...that time he was only four...then when he ws ten he cut down his nerves because i was sending him to a hostel..there is a never ending story of his hurting himself....''

I could see tears in her eyes..this woman really had a 'sudden mood change' quality.

''But he was showing maturity since four to five years and that is why Jacob let him to take care of this company...but...now i do not know what is going on his mind...why is he again started behaving like this...he was so drunk at the party then he broke the bottle infront of you and after that he broke the glass window of his favourite car...that time i think you were not there or you could have seen him...and again today he got his hand cut by the cup...''

Oh...i didn't knew what happened after i left...

And he told her that he got the cut from a cup? Should i tell her that he punched the wall?

''Hmm...i don't know what to say...''

''I only want you to look after him and if he is having any problem at the office then please help him out. You are always here with him for almost eight hours then please take care of him. I request you.''

''I am not giving you any pressure...but i will not be here so i will be calling you to know about his well being because i know he will not inform me if he will be in a problem.''

''No...i mean there is no problem... i will take care of him..'' as much as he let me.

''Thank you dear! Thank you so much!''

She stood up and leaned to give me a kiss on my cheek.

Now i will have to babysit baby James!!

He is polar opposite to his mother.

BANG!

The door flew opened and it banged to the wall due to the force given to the poor door while opening it.

We both jumped at the sudden interruption.

''What are you still doing here?'' He asked her mother completely ignoring me.

''I just came to see my beautiful Liza.'' She said smiling at me.

Whoa! Why did she need to embarass me by telling beautiful!

''I think you have seen enough. Now you should go.''

''Calm down son. No need to be jealous. I love you more.'' She walked towards him and gave him a kiss on the cheek...

OMG! IS HE BLUSHING?  whoa! Breaking news! Mr. James Ashton blushed!

His eyes travelled towards me and he scowled as he saw me looking at him with amusement.

''I am going now. Take care son and take care Liza.''

I nodded towards her and she went out.

''What were you talking about?'' He asked rudely.

''Nothing especial.'' I sat down back on my chair.

''Then why were you not replying?'' He slammed his hand on my desk and some of files slipped to the ground.

When did he texted me?

''I don't know...what are you..talking about.''

''Check your i.d.''

Sh*t!

There was almost ten messages. I was so busy listening to her that i didn't heard the message tone.

''Umm..i...umm..sorry..''

''Next time if you do not reply within a minute i will fire you.''

Are you crazy? How could you fire me for a silly reason?

''Okay..''

''Bring me coffee.''

How many cup do you drink in a day?

''Okay..''
