This is an au for Ore Quest Prime in this au it takes a more darker turn as when Diamond yells at Dark Diamond about destroying the village instead of being angry he find Diamond acting like this adorable. Dark Diamond when Diamond is created feels a bond form between him and Diamond as he's his father and the fact he's a diamond Steve like him as well as being his successful experiment so when Diamond acts out he doesn't really want to hurt him at all as he sees Diamond in a possessive way due to the fact that a bond was formed overall it makes Dark Diamond act much differently than normal and much different from cannon when Diamond was created so instead of getting angry he begins to say how adorable and cute Diamond is as he praises his son for being so adorable. Diamond is weirded out by this as he fully expected to get attacked but is being fawned over. Dark Diamond grabs Diamond and they go home from there rules are set and these rules take all of Diamonds freedom and rights as Dark Diamond wants him all to himself as he believes he's the only one that deserves to be with his creation. Diamond is freaked out by Dark Diamonds possessive nature very very very much. Dark Diamond stalks Diamond, picks his cloths, picks his meal, decided what he gets to do, overall he just controls everything when it comes to Diamond and Diamond doesn't really get his own time as he's stalked on a daily basis by Dark Diamond. The Bond allows it so things like telepathy between the two and a tracking means including sharing power, ect. The personality change is only with Diamond for everyone else he acts as in cannon. Forsaken Leader is the first to learn about the obsessive nature and is weirded out by it but can't to anything about it he does respect Diamond highly as he would get messed up if he didn't but even if Dark Diamond wasn't possessive he would respect him. Forsaken Leader is permitted to spend time with Diamond to guard him when Dark Diamond has things he needs to do so he gets to know Diamond fairly well and they end up getting along Diamond is grateful for him as it's normal contact with another being which he doesn't get with Dark Diamond. When Everyone else finds out about the possessiveness their shocked as well this is extremely different behavior from Dark Diamond and they feel incredibly bad for Diamond. Diamond needs to be saved for the prophecy to succeed but multiple other ways is 100% posible due to Dark Diamond nature towards Diamond. Echo does adopt Diamond eventually somewhere but like he nearly dies on multiple occasions as Dark Diamond is EXTREMELY JEALOUS like rip. Stuff for au
