"Fifth Year"

Lenora POV:

After my little 'makeout session' with James' doppelgänger, the brunette copy pulled me into where Dumbledore's office apparently was.
"What do you suppose we'll find in here?" I asked with feigned excitement and curiosity to 'James', who still had yet to let go of my hand.
"Something cool hopefully." The doppelgänger told me with a grin, before spinning me around.
I let out a forced giggle and planted a kiss on 'James' lips, once I'd stopped being spun.
"Enough with the PDA already!" 'Sirius' protested jokingly with an overdramatic roll of his eyes, earning a chuckle from 'Remus'.
"Sod off, Sirius! I have every right to be appreciating my girlfriend!" 'James' laughed, moving around me and wrapping his arms around my waist from behind.
"Well, go 'appreciate' each other somewhere else, preferably where we're not present." 'Remus' chuckled teasingly with a mock look of disgust.
"No, we're quite comfortable right here, boys." I joked as 'James' started to plant kisses up and down my neck.
"We can see that, you horny little shits." 'Sirius' joked, gesturing to 'James', who was starting to leave hickies on my neck and jawline. "Just give it a rest and help us snoop, then you can go back to sucking each other's faces."
I feigned a roll of my eyes and obliged.

3rd Person POV:
James hated it.
He hated how quickly the rest of the school had moved on from Nora's accident. How they all had seemingly forgotten what had happened with smiles on their faces.
The brunette boy hated that so little progress had been made in finding out who had attacked the Scamander girl. To him, it seemed as though none of the adults were putting in any effort on the matter.
As he sat beside the strawberry blonde girl's unconscious body, James' feelings of frustration and hopelessness grew exponentially.
Gazing sadly upon the pale face of the beautiful hufflepuff, James didn't notice his best friend approach him in the hospital wing.
"She's going to be alright, Prongs." Sirius Black sighed, placing a comforting hand on the Potter boy's shoulder. "Just you wait, soon she'll be awake and tearing us all a new one with that sharp tongue of hers."
"There's no way in hell that you could so sure of that." The heartbroken boy snapped bitterly, causing his fellow animagus to sigh.
"Yes, there is." The long haired boy stated with a bit of faux smugness in his tone.
"And what the fuck would that be, Padfoot?" James Potter asked his best friend with a tired sigh.
It was no secret after all, that the marauders were all exhausted both mentally and physically. Since the attack on the Scamander girl, each of the boys had been worried about their friend and her well being. So much so, that three of the four boys hadn't slept through the night since the attack two months ago.
It had become so bad that the resident werewolf of the group, Remus Lupin, had been struggling to keep control during the past two full moons.
"I have hope." The disowned member of the Black family told him simply. "And I know that Nora is fighting her way back to us, because that's who she is."
"Besides, if there's anything that I've learned over the last five years, it's that Lenora Scamander is too stubborn to allow herself to die in a way that she would consider 'too fucking anticlimactic'."
"You're right about that, Paddy." James replied with a chuckle, after a moment of silence. "She's too extraordinary for such a dull ending."
"Hey, Paddy?"
"Yeah, Prongs?"
"Thanks."
"Anytime, mate."

Lenora POV:
I was going out of my fucking mind.
We'd been here for a little over an hour and I hadn't gotten any answers from Dumbledore's office or the 'boys'. The doppelgängers of my friends continued to reply with vague answers and kept to their illusion.
Every time that my investigation hit a dead end, I've had to withhold my frustration and mentally remind myself to keep up the oblivious girlfriend act.
"Find anything interesting yet, Little Red?" 'Sirius' asked from across the room, where he was searching around the pensieve.
"Not even remotely, Siri." I let out a bored sigh. "What about you boys?"
'Remus' was checking the many book shelves for anything odd (well odder than what was normal for Dumbledore).
'Peter' was checking the shelves of Dumbledore's nick-nacks for any useful magical objects.
While 'James' was practically glued to my side as I rummaged through the headmaster's desk.
I was so focused on finding something in the desk that could hint at how to find Harry and get the hell out of this illusion of my home.
Apparently I was too focused, because I didn't hear the large door opening nor the heavy footfalls that had entered the room.
"Darling, I think we've been had!" 'James' exclaimed to me worriedly, sending a gentle smack to my bicep.
"Mr. Potter seems to be correct, Miss Scamander."
The sound of the unfamiliar male voice made my gaze snap up towards the newcomer, whose presence alone caused a sense of dread to fall upon me.
"Lenora Scamander, a true honor." The man chuckled darkly, his grey eyes shining with a hint of malicious content. "My name is Dolos, and I've been waiting for you for a very long time, my dear."
"Fuck."

A/N:
Hey you guys! So Dolos is played by Benedict Cumberbatch aka
Because he'd do an amazing job at portraying this chaotically evil little shit.
