KEEP FIGHTING.
Her hair all over the place, the pony-tail she had almost undone, hanging loose from the top of her head. Her breathing was heavy, eyes unfocused and body screaming for her to stop. Drops of cold sweat fell from her face, her neck almost shinny in the dimly lit room. She was tired, way too tired, but she went on, ignoring the signs her body was giving.
She couldn't stop. Not right now. She needed to continue. She needed to fight back.
Her head pounded. Millions of thoughts running though it, several ones she didn't understand. She ignored the blackness that decorated her skin, all too used to a color she sees. Darkness clouded her mind, like a cloud of unforgiving things she wanted to do. She knew she wanted to do. But that wasn't her. She would never do that.
Wrong.
You lie.
I know you better than you know yourself. You want this.
No!
Succumb.
Her body flew in the air by the force knocked into her, but she expected it. Her instincts kicked in and she landed on her feet, skidding across the floor. She moved like a mist, her movements clean and fast, confusing her opponents. She appeared and disappeared in a cloud of vapor she created, a blur within the smoke. Her fingers sparked, black and purple surrounding them as she muttered under her breath as she moved, making the person in front of her collapse under the influence of magic.
She moved forward, breaking the wall the second one created, shattering it like a broken glass, fragments of it flying everywhere and disappearing as she moved though it. Her head tilted to the side and the second person collapsed as she made their body freeze up and turn into stone.
Only one was left.
The last one watched, waiting patiently. The oldest ones were the trickiest. They were the smartest, lived the longest and knew her the best. They didn't move as she stepped in front of them, keeping some distance as her mind calculated her every step. Earthen eyes stared at the blue ones the oldest had, deep like an ocean, holding memories from their past. None of the moved, waiting for the other person to start.
Keep fighting.
Their hands rose at the same time, entering the world of their thoughts as they tried to find one that will make them suffer the most. She tried to fight back. She tried to enter the other's mind deeper, push past the the wall that was blocking her but she couldn't. She pushed harder, forcing her body to scream at her to stop, aching for break that it deserved.
Crack.
The blue eyes looked up at the earthen ones - little girl watched with her head tilted to the side, curious as to who was standing in front her. The white dress hung from her body, gold circlet around her head and blonde hair braided across her right shoulder.
She gasped.
Her eyes snapped opened as she looked around. Faces of her friends and siblings appearing in her line of view, watching with worry in their eyes. One handed her a tissue and she only noticed then why. Blood trickled down from her nose and onto her mouth, making her taste it on her tongue. She accepted the tissue, wiping the red substance off her face, taking deep breaths to calm her racing heart.
A hand landed on her shoulder and she looked up at the owner, "How was it?" they asked.
Endora Prince looked around at the people that watched over her body as she entered her own mind. A small smiled started blossoming on her face as she looked around at the rest.
"I did it."
Endora didn't understand the jittery feeling that started forming in the pit of her stomach whenever someone mentioned the certain son of Poseidon. She wasn't used to this feeling, nor did she know how to deal with them. She hadn't experienced it in a long time, deciding that she never wanted to go though everything again. Of course, she didn't tell anyone about it, but from Annabeth's constant smirks ( you notice a lot of small details when daughter of Athena suddenly becomes your best friend ) that she threw at her friend when someone talked about the boy, Lou Ellen's wiggly eyebrows, Fredrick's snorts at her red face and Madeline's laughs, Endora guessed she didn't hide that feeling well.
To the girl, Percy Jackson didn't look like much when she first saw him in the cabin eleven when he arrived at the Camp three or so years ago. From what she saw and heard, many standard hero tropes apply to him. He's the chosen one of the prophecy, a forbidden child of the big three among other demigods and because of that is pretty powerful ( of course, Endora always likes to say that she's more powerful which once resulted in them destroying the swords arena ).
With his sassiness and a way to make the girl smile without even trying, Percy Jackson was someone who truly made Endora Prince feel happy, even if they were just friends ( "For now," Aphrodite once told her when she called Endora up on Olympus ). His eyes sparkled when he talked to her about the latest interests and he had this addictive smile that Endora found herself always staring at. He's even endure her constants hours of talking about new spells and potions she's been working on, checking up on her almost everyday just to see her face.
But it was only when she saw him after six months that she finally realized that Percy Jackson, in fact, made her feel weird. It's a shame a redhaired girl kept chasing after him.
Flattening her dress again and wiping the non-existent dust, Endora checked the time again, making sure she wasn't late. She did not know what to eхpect when shе arrived in New York to see Percy Jackson who invited her to come and see a movie he was dying to see. Her insides were screaming, feeling like she was going to throw up any moment. Lou Ellen, Annabeth and Madeline made sure she looked the best and Fredrick proclaimed himself her make-up artist for the date ─ even when the witch told them it wasn't a date. Because it wasn't!
But, was it?
She didn't know. But she wasn't expecting Percy Jackson to suddenly burst out of an alley onto East 81st and run straight into her. She was glad she had fast reflexes, because if she didn't, they would've both toppled over the sidewalk. She grabbed his shoulders, keeping him from stumbling into the street.
"Hey, you're out early!" she laughed, "Watch where you're going, Water Boy."
For a split second she was in a good mood and everything was fine. She was wearing soft pink velvet dress over a white blouse and white knee-high boots. She had a rose quarts pendant around her neck and silver rings and her crown ring decorating her fingers. Madeline had curled her hair earlier and was pulled back in a half-up, half-down look. Her earthen eyes sparkled.
Even though they've been talking via Iris-messages and seen each other a couple of times Chiron let Endora out of the Camp, Percy couldn't help but have his breath taken away by the girl in front of him. Her hair grew longer from last time, but she had cut front pieces shorter, making them now frame her face instead of blending with the rest of her hair. Her skin was a tad tanner, but still on the more pale side, and her body seemed more leaned and dainty. She grew even more pretty in his eyes.
Endora opened her mouth to ask what was wrong when a girl charged out of the alley Percy had come from, yelling, "Percy! Wait up!"
The girl's smile melted. She stared at the girl with curly red hair, freckles sprinkled on her face, soft features, and emerald green eyes; Rachel Elizabeth Dare, a girl who she met last winter. Endora pouted then she looked at the school, then at Percy Jackson. For the first time, she seemed to notice the black smoke and the ringing fire alarms
She frowned at Percy. "What did you do this time? And what is she doing here?"
Rachel looked Endora, "She," she pointed to herself, "Saved his ass. You're the girl that stole my voice. Ursula?"
Endora raised her eyebrow, "What did you just call me?"
"Rachel, this is Endora," Percy said, looking awkwardly between the two girl.
"Hi," Rachel said, then she looked at Percy. "You are in so much trouble. And you still owe me an explanation!"
Police sirens wailed on FDR Drive.
"Jackson," Endora said coldly. "We should go."
"I want to know more about half-bloods," Rachel insisted. "And monsters. And this stuff about the gods." she grabbed his arm, took out a permanent marker, and wrote numbers her phone numbers on his hand. "You're going to call me and explain, okay? You owe me that. Now get going"
"But ─ "
"I'll make up some story," Rachel said hurriedly. "I'll tell them it wasn't your fault. Just go!"
Endora watched as the redhead ran back towards the school. The witch didn't even hesitate and started marching the opposite way, a disappointed frown on her pretty little face.
"Hey!" Percy jogged after her. "There were these two empousai," he tried to explain, "They were cheerleaders, see, and they said camp was going to burn, and ─ "
"You told that mortal girl about half-bloods?" she interrupted him, a frown settled on her face.
Percy stopped in his tracks, "She can see through the Mist, remember? And she saw the monsters before I did."
"So you told her the truth?"
"She recognized me from Hoover Dam, so ─ "
"So you thought it was cool?"
"Well, yes, but ─ "
Pursing her lips, Endora looked over his shoulder at the descending figure of the girl, before saying, "She's kind of cute."
"I-I never thought about it," Percy stammered, but he was blushing. "But there is nothing between us, Endy, nothing. I barely know her."
"Whatever." she said and kept walking towards York Avenue. "It's not like we're dating. You can do whatever you please."
Percy swallowed, "Y-Yeah, I know," he mumbled, "I'll deal with the school," he promised, anxious to change the subject. "Honest, it'll be fine."
Endora wouldn't even look at him. "I guess our afternoon is off. We should get you out of here, now that the police will be searching for you." she looked down at her outfit, "I dressed up for nothing."
"You look great." Percy cleared his throat.
Endora held her chin up, "I know, but don't I always." she flipped her hair.
Percy cowered slightly as he stood in front of her. Behind them, smoke billowed up from Goode High School. In the dark column of ashes, Percy thought he could almost see a face ─ a she-demon with redeyes, laughing at him.
Your pretty little camp in flames, Kelli had said. Your friends made slaves to the Lord of Time.
"You're right," Percy told Endora, his heart sinking. "We have to get to Camp Half-Blood. Now."
Nothing caps off the perfect morning like a long taxi ride with an angry girl ─ angry girl that is a witch too.
Percy tried to talk to Endora, but she was acting like he'd just punched her brother or sister ( which he would never do; he loved Lou Ellen and Basil, and they scared the shit out of him ). All he managed to get out of her was that she'd had been working on some things but wouldn't tell the boy what it was; and she'd learned nothing about the whereabouts of Nico di Angelo. None of her locating spells worked and Percy could tell it was driving her crazy.
"Any word on Luke?" Percy asked.
Endora shook her head. Percy found out about Endora's and Luke's relationship one night while they were talking. The girl told him how he was the only one who accepted her in the cabin and thought her how to use her sword. He was there for her when no one wanted to come near the child of Hecate. He found out how heartbroken she felt when the former head counselor for Hermes cabin betrayed them and joined the evil Titan Lord Kronos. Unlike Annabeth, Endora doesn't like Luke ( she told Percy she hated him, but the boy thought that was much harsh word ). When they'd fought Luke on Mount Tamalpais last winter, he'd somehow survived a fifty-foot fall off a cliff. Now, as far as Percy knew, he was still sailing around on his demon-infested cruise ship while his chopped-up Lord Kronos re-formed, bit by bit, in a golden sarcophagus, biding his time until he had enough power to challenge the Olympian gods. In demigod-speak, they call this a "problem."
"Mount Tam is still overrun with monsters," Endora said. "Annabeth told me she didn't dare go close, but she doesn't think Luke is up there. She would know if he was."
"What about Grover?"
"He's at camp," she said. "You'll see him today."
"Did he have any luck? I mean, with the search for Pan?"
Endora twisted her crown ring ( her sword in disguise ), the way she does when she's worried. "You'll see," was all she said. But she didn't explain.
As they headed through Brooklyn, Percy used Endora's phone to call his mom. Half-bloods try not to use cell phones if they can avoid it, because broadcasting our voices is like sending up a flare to the monsters: Here I am! Please eat me now! But the boy figured this call was important. He left a message on his home voice mail, trying to explain what had happened at Goode. Percy probably didn't do a very good job. He told his mom he was fine, she shouldn't worry, but he was going to stay at camp until things cooled down. The boy asked her to tell Paul Blofis he was sorry.
The pair rode in silence after that. The city melted away until they were off the expressway and rolling through the countryside of northern Long Island, past orchards and wineries and fresh produce stands.
Endora glanced to the side and noticed the way Percy stared at the phone number Rachel Elizabeth Dare had scrawled on his hand. He knew it was crazy, but he was tempted to call her. Maybe she could help him understand what the empousa had been talking about ─ the camp burning, his friends imprisoned. And why had Kelli exploded into flames? Percy knew monsters never truly died. Eventually ─ maybe weeks, months, or years from now ─ Kelli would re-form out of the primordial nastiness seething in the Underworld. But still, monsters didn't usually let themselves get destroyed so easily. If she really was destroyed.
The taxi exited on Route 25A. They headed through the woods along the North Shore until a low ridge of hills appeared on our left. Endora told the driver to pull over on Farm Road 3.141, at the base of Half-Blood Hill.
The driver frowned. "There ain't nothing here, miss. You sure you want out?"
"Yes, please." Endora handed him a roll of mortal cash, and the driver decided not to argue.
Endora and Percy hiked to the crest of the hill. The young guardian dragon was dozing, coiled around the pine tree, but he lifted his coppery head as they approached and let the witch scratch under his chin. Steam hissed out his nostrils like from a teakettle, and he went cross-eyed with pleasure.
"Hey, Peleus," Endora said. "Keeping everything safe?"
The last time Percy'd seen the dragon he'd been six feet long. Now he was at least twice that, and as thick around as the tree itself. Above his head, on the lowest branch of the pine tree, the Golden Fleece shimmered, its magic protecting the camp's borders from invasion. The dragon seemed relaxed, like everything was okay. Below them, Camp Half-Blood looked peaceful ─ green fields, forest, shiny white Greek buildings. The four-story farmhouse they called the Big House sat proudly in the midst of the strawberry fields. To the north, past the beach, the Long Island Sound glittered in the sunlight.
Still. . . something felt wrong. There was tension in the air, as if the hill itself were holding its breath, waiting for something bad to happen.
They walked down into the valley and found the summer session in full swing. Most of the campers had arrived last Friday, so Percy already felt out of it. The satyrs were playing their pipes in the strawberry fields, making the plants grow with woodland magic. Campers were having flying horseback lessons, swooping over the woods on their pegasi. Smoke rose from the forges, and hammers rang as kids made their own weapons for Arts & Crafts. The Athena and Demeter teams were having a chariot race around the track, and over at the canoe lake some kids in a Greek trireme were fighting a large orange sea serpent. A typical day at camp.
"I need to talk to Maddy, Fred, Beth and Clarisse," Endora said.
Percy stared at her as if she'd just said I need to eat a large, smelly boot. "What for?"
Clarisse from the Ares cabin was one of Percy's least favorite people. She was a mean, ungrateful bully. Her dad, the war god, wanted to kill me. She tried to beat the boy to a pulp on a regular basis. Other than that, she was just great.
As well as Annabeth. Percy was glad the two girls were getting along.
"We've been working on something," the brunette said. "I'll see you later."
"Working on what?"
Endora glanced toward the forest.
"I'll tell Chiron you're here," she said. "He'll want to talk to you before the hearing."
"What hearing?"
But she jogged down the path toward the archery field without looking back.
"Yeah," Percy muttered. "Great talking with you, too."
Endora loved nature, but right now, all she wanted to do was go and slap satyrs that were giving Grover hard time. A bunch of satyrs were sitting in a circle in the grass. Grover Underwood stood in the middle, facing three really old, really fat satyrs who sat on topiary thrones shaped out of rose bushes. Grover seemed to be telling them a story. He twisted the bottom of his T-shirt, shifting nervously on his goat hooves.
Standing off to one side of the circle were Endora, Fredrick Jeon, Madeline You, Annabeth, Clarisse and Juniper, Grover's girlfriend. The brunette turned to the sound of galloping and saw Chiron dropping Percy next to them. Clarisse glared at Percy and muttered, "Punk." Annabeth and Madeline had her arms around Juniper, who looked like she'd been crying, and Fredrick stood by Endora's side.
"It's going terribly," Juniper sniffled.
"No, no." Annabeth patted her shoulder. "He'll be fine, Juniper."
Fredrick turned around to face Percy and mouthed the words Grover's girlfriend. Son of Dionysus had changed since Percy last saw him. His blonde hair was longer with mullet going down his neck and bangs parted in the middle covering his forehead. His freckles were more visible and Percy noticed his eyes sparkled with glittery red eyeshadow. His signature red lipstick on his lips, something the boy was never seen without.
"Master Underwood!" the council member on the right shouted, cutting off whatever Grover was trying to say. "Do you seriously expect us to believe this?"
"B-but, Silenus," Grover stammered. "It's the truth!"
The Council guy, Silenus, turned to his colleagues and muttered something. Chiron cantered up to the front and stood next to them; the elders didn't look very impressive.
Silenus tugged his yellow polo shirt over his belly and adjusted himself on his rosebush throne. "Master Underwood, for six months ─ six months ─ we have been hearing these scandalous claims that you heard the wild god Pan speak."
"But I did!"
"Impudence!" said the elder on the left.
"Now, Maron," Chiron said. "Patience."
"Patience, indeed!" Maron said. "I've had it up to my horns with this nonsense. As if the wild god would speak to. . . to him."
"Idiots," Madeline muttered, "Idiots."
Daughter of Apollo was not someone Percy thought would hang around this group. Her black hair has gotten longer since the last time the son of Poseidon saw her. He wasn't close to the girl, but Endora told him how she and Madeline started hanging around and getting closer more since he left the Camp. Madeline's signature bunny smile stuck in Percy's brain when someone mentions her. Whenever she smiles, her front teeth would stuck out a little bit and her eyes would scrunch up, almost disappearing. The boy noticed she bore the same ring Endora had on her thumb ─ matching ones.
Juniper looked like she wanted to charge the old satyr and beat him up, but Annabeth and Madeline held her back. Endora couldn't blame her. These old satyrs were getting on her nerves too.
"Wrong fight, girlie," Clarisse muttered. "Wait."
"For six months," Silenus continued, "we have indulged you, Master Underwood. We let you travel. We allowed you to keep your searcher's license. We waited for you to bring proof of your preposterous claim. And what have you found in six months of travel?"
"I just need more time," Grover pleaded.
"Nothing!" the elder in the middle chimed in. "You have found nothing."
"But, Leneus ─ "
Silenus raised his hand. Chiron leaned in and said something to the satyrs. The satyrs didn't look happy. They muttered and argued among themselves, but Chiron said something else, and Silenus sighed. He nodded reluctantly.
"Master Underwood," Silenus announced, "we will give you one more chance."
Grover brightened. "Thank you!"
"One more week."
"What? But, sir! That's impossible!"
"One more week, Master Underwood. And then, if you cannot prove your claims, it will be time for you to pursue another career. Something to suit your dramatic talents. Puppet theater, perhaps. Or tap dancing."
"But, sir, I-I can't lose my searcher's license. My whole life ─ "
"This meeting of the council is adjourned," Silenus said. "And now let us enjoy our noonday meal!"
The old satyr clapped his hands, and a bunch of nymphs melted out of the trees with platters of vegetables, fruits, tin cans, and other goat delicacies. The circle of satyrs broke and charged the food. Grover walked dejectedly toward them. His faded blue T-shirt had a picture of a satyr on it. It read GOTHOOVES?
"Hi, Percy," he said, sounding depressed. "That went well, huh?"
"Those old goats!" Juniper said. "Oh, Grover, they don't know how hard you've tried!"
"There is another option," Clarisse said darkly.
"No. No." Juniper shook her head. "Grover, I won't let you."
His face was ashen. "I-I'll have to think about it. But we don't even know where to look."
"What are you talking about?" Percy asked.
In the distance, a conch horn sounded. Annabeth pursed her lips. "We'll fill you in later, Percy. We'd better get back to our cabins. Inspection is starting."
"I mean. . . That's pretty fucked up." Madeline said, flopping herself onto Fredrick's bed.
Endora, Madeline, Annabeth, Fredrick and Lou Ellen found themselves in cabin twelve after the inspections. Since Endora was part of the Hermes cabin, she knew her chances of having hot water for shower were slip to none. So, she and her siblings ( they didn't tell the rest because why should they ) came up with a spell to always have hot water when they're taking showers.
"You're just jealous," Fredrick said, picking up a grape from the wall of his cabin, "That's totally normal."
Jealous? The brunette has never experienced that feeling.
"I don't know what to do," Endora whined, "Since Aphrodite told me ─ ah! This is complicated."
"Love is complicated," Annabeth said, "And like Freddie said, it's normal to feel jealous when someone flirts with the boy you like."
"But I don't like him!" Endora said, "How many times do I have to tell you."
Madeline sat up straight, "Girl, if you don't like him, then I don't know how to use bow and arrow, and we all know that is false, because I'm one of the best archers in the Camp."
Her friends and sister all nodded and made a simultaneous 'ummm' sound that gave Endora chills. It was scary, like some kind of a cult; yet she was supposed to be the expert with those.
"That is scary, don't ever do that again," Endora said, "And we know you're the best, Maddy, yet I don't have a crush on Percy."
"Denial is all I'm hearing," Lou Ellen said.
"I ─ "
"If you're saying you don't like him," Annabeth begun, "Then why be mad at him for talking with other girls. Why are you mad some girl openly flirted with him?"
"I ─ "
"Plus," Fredrick added, "Aphrodite told you you're meant to be."
Annabeth made a disgusting face, "Still can't believe you all thought I liked Percy."
"She told you that he plays part in your prophecy," Lou Ellen said, "Whatever that means. . . so, he's important to your future."
Endora licked her lips, "Was I being irrational? Should I go and apologize? This is very stressing and confusing since I don't even know how I feel."
"And that is perfectly fine," Madeline said, "But don't apologize, it's not your fault he was being oblivious."
"Made him suffer," Annabeth said with a smile ─ an evil looking smile.
"And this is why I love you," Fredrick said, looking at the blonde girl with fondness and affection in his blue eyes.
Annabeth's smile turned into a genuine one. She looked down and let her blonde curls cover her blushing face. Endora smiled too. Since last February, she noticed how Annabeth and Fredrick got closer ─ plus, Annabeth couldn't stop talking about the boy over their Iris-messages, nor could Fredrick whenever they hanged out. It was getting annoying to hear how much in love they were, yet neither of them acted on it.
"Okay, so what should I do?" Endora asked, looking frantically at her friends, "Be normal, be myself or make him suffer like Beth suggested."
"Make him suffer," Annabeth and Lou Elle said at the same time, just as Madeline and Fredrick said, "Be normal."
Endora laughed, "You're not helping."
Madeline pursed her lips, "How about you make him jealous?"
A lightning bolt seemed to appear above Annabeth's head, "Yes!" she had a mischievous glint in her eyes, "And I just know how."
Four friends leaned forward, eager to hear.
"We're supposed to meet Percy and Tyson in like ten minutes. . ." Annabeth begun.
Fredrick gasped, "I know what you're thinking!" he shook the blonde girl's shoulder's, "Bethy, you're a genius."
"Some of us can't read minds." Madeline pointed out, indicating towards herself, Endora and Lou Ellen.
"Well. . ." the two sisters begun.
"Don't even finish that."
"Anyways," Annabeth cut in, "We're supposed to meet them by the lake. So, how about I go alone with Freddie and tell Percy you couldn't come because you were hanging out with someone else!"
Silence. Everyone started at Annabeth, except Fredrick who had a big smirk on his lips. Lou Ellen's confused and shocked face broke and she laughed, hitting her knee. She pointed to Annabeth, "You are an evil genius."
Annabeth smiled, "Thank you."
"But who should it be?" Madeline asked, "You can't say me or anyone from the Hermes cabin. Percy knows Dora's close with everyone there."
Snapping his fingers, Fredrick said, "Nyssa Barrera. Everyone knows she has a crush on you," he looked at Endora.
Endora looked confused, "She does?"
Annabeth facepalmed herself, "Oh gods. You're the oblivious one."
"Or my brother," Madeline said, "Lee likes Dora too."
"Jake Mason too." Lou Ellen added.
"I think Malcolm likes you too." Annabeth said.
"Hold up, hold up!" Endora stood up, moving her hands around frantically, "First ─ how do you all know this? Second ─ what if Percy comes looking for me and. . . the other person? You know what, just don't do it."
Their smiles fell. Madeline frowned, "Why not? He made you feel betrayed in some way."
"Yeah," Annabeth agreed, "He needs to suffer a bit."
Endora shook her head. She didn't want to put the boy though what she is going though ─ confusion the most, the rest following. The girl let out a sigh, "Just. . . don't. I'll talk to him."
"If that's what you want," Fredrick said, pulling Annabeth to her feet, "Then we won't say a words."
Endora smiled, "Thanks."
Liars.
The dinner came, and all the campers lined up by cabin and marched into the dining pavilion. Most of them ignored the sealed fissure in the marble floor at the entrance ─ a ten-foot-long jagged scar that hadn't been there last summer ─ but Endora was careful to step over it like she does every day.
She sat at the cramped table of cabin eleven with Lou Ellen on her left and Basil on her right side. The girl caught a glimpse of Percy entering the pavilion with Tyson. He glanced over at her table and quickly looked away, walking fast to his own.
Endora raised an eyebrow.
"Why does Jackson keep glaring daggers at your head, Dora?" Connor Stoll, son of Hermes, asked from across Endora.
Lou Ellen grinned from beside her. The black haired girl turned towards cabin three's table, "No just that," she said and turned back, "He keeps glaring at Lee Fletcher."
Endora eyes grew wide. The girl turned around to face the son of Poseidon. He just looked at her, maybe with narrow eyes, but he just kept looking at her. She smiled and returned back to face her table. Her sister snorted and Basil looked confused. She stared at her sister in disbelief, "I told you not to do it." she hissed.
"I didn't," Lou Ellen raised her arms, "Maddy and Beth did."
"What is happening?" Basil asked.
"That's what he call when someone is jealous young bro," Lou Ellen smirked, "Our boy, Jackson, is jealous."
