The small party went well and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Well almost everyone except for Alyssa who struggled to remain calm
"Is everyone enjoying the food?" Ume asked
"Yeah! Yongi is an amazing chef" Jinah said
"He has quite an amazing talent. Why not become a chef?" Celeste asked
"Hehe I mean I could but...well our family wouldn't want that" Yongi said
"Kallen or Otojiro could step up in the Okogi family company" Shailung said
"I-I would prefer not. Besides Yongi is doing an amazing job" Kallen said
"How come your other brother isn't here? He should attend a family gathering right?" Shailung asked
"You know how Otojiro is..." Yongi said as he sighed
"He's quite harsh and cold but I know he has a kind heart" Kallen said
"He's a bast-ah!" Jinah whimpered as Soha nudged her
"Quit treating me like a kid" Jinah said
"You are a kid" Celeste said
"This bit-" Jinah paused as Soha glared at her
"Fine fine. I'll be nice and keep my mouth shut" Jinah said as she looked away
"Good" Soha said and smiled warmly
"I'll go ahead and get dessert ready" Ume said as she stood up from her seat and left the table as she walked into the kitchen. Alyssa glanced at her before smiling a little
"Excuse me please..." Alyssa said as she stood up from her seat and walked away. Her heart started racing as she got closer to the kitchen and she stepped in where Ume was getting the desserts
"Do you need any help...?" Alyssa asked and Ume flinched slightly

"Sure. You can give me a hand to pass out the desserts. Just be careful whe-" Ume paused as she felt Alyssa hug her from behind
"A-alyssa let go" Ume said as she tried pulling away and Alyssa tightened her grip

"Please let me go. I don't want to cause a scene...especially during my daughter's first birthday" Ume said and Alyssa made her face her before pressing her lips against hers. Ume's eyes widened as she trembled and tried punching her but Alyssa grabbed her wrists as she stopped her
"Mmm! Mm!" Ume trembled and Alyssa kept kissing her while pressing her knee in between her legs

The sun started setting and the party was coming to an end
"Awww look how cute they are" Jinah said as she saw the two little girls asleep
"We should better get going" Kallen said
"I'll go ahead and get the car started" Shailung said as he held the baby in his arms and bag
"Thanks for coming" Yongi said
"It was fun" Shailung said as he smiled
"Thanks for inviting me" Jinah said as she smiled
"Thank you for coming" Ume said
"It was nice seeing you again, Ume" Celeste said
"It was great to see you too. I'm glad you decided to take a break from work" Ume said
"Well you wouldn't stop begging..." Celeste said as she smiled a little
"Because I really wanted to see you again. Besides Jinah missed you a lot" Ume said
"Bitch who lie-mm!"

"Eh? Is that true?" Celeste asked as she smiled softly. Jinah flinched and shook her head
"Nah like hell I'll fucking miss you, Tornado-san" Jinah whispered as she kept her voice down. Ume giggled softly and flinched as she felt a touch on her shoulder
"You have such a beautiful daughter, Ume. I'm glad you're doing great" Alyssa said as she smiled softly and Ume only nodded
"Th-thanks..." Ume said and shivered as Alyssa leaned in towards her ear
"I want to have a chat with you at my place. I'll send you my address and the day you should come..." Alyssa whispered softly and walked away. Ume covered her ear as her cheeks reddened

"Bye Yongi and congrats on your daughter's birthday. She's grown up a lot" Alyssa said
"It was nice seeing you, Alyssa. I was hoping to see Mei again" Yongi said
"I'll bring her next time. She'll probably get along with Yuzu well" Alyssa said
"Oh Yuzu is always very friendly. She loves to make new friends" Yongi said
"Kinda like you. Anyways have a nice night" Alyssa said as she waved goodbye and left. Yongi looked at Ume who was slightly nervous
"Ume? You feeling okay?" Yongi asked as he walked up to her and cupped her cheek. Ume looked at him before nodding and smiled softly
"Yes...I'm fine" Ume said

"Let's get going..." Celeste said
"Nishihara..." Soha spoke up and Alyssa sighed before looking at the tall woman
"What is it, Taniguchi?" Alyssa asked
"...what were you doing with, Ume?" Soha asked
"Hm? Nothing. We were just chatting" Alyssa said
"Quit bothering her. You already lost your chance with her so I suggest you leave her alone" Soha said
"Not sure what you're talking about but I really need to go. My daughter is waiting for me..." Alyssa said as she was about to get inside but Soha grabbed her arm
"Don't you dare hurt my friend, Alyssa" Soha said
"...I'd never dare hurt someone I care about. Now I suggest you let go of me before you piss me off..." Alyssa said as she glared at her with a cold gaze
"Hey big tits. Time to get going. Your kids are being whiny..." Jinah said as she tried to stop her
"Right. Bye Celeste" Soha said as she smiled warmly and Celeste nodded
"Bye and take care..." Celeste said before getting in the car. Alyssa got in the car and Celeste could tell the look she had was dangerous

"You didn't do anything right?" Celeste asked
"Of course I didn't. It was only a small talk that I had with Ume about...well our past" Alyssa said as she looked out the window
"You know Ume doesn't want to think about the past..." Celeste said as she started the car and drove away
"But the way she looked at me...I can tell...there is a small amount of lingering feelings for me" Alyssa said
"Just hope that they don't find out. Soha and Jinah are really close with Ume. Shailung is clearly a maniac and loves Yongi and Ume as his siblings because of Kallen being related to Yongi" Celeste said
"I suggest you worry about yourself. You've slept with Kallen before..." Alyssa said and Celeste gripped the steering wheel
"...right. I should worry about myself..." Celeste said
"Mhm. I don't want my best friend to get involved in my plans so hush unless you want to be next..." Alyssa said and Celeste kept her mouth shut as she drove back to Alyssa's place. Once they arrived, Alyssa stepped out of the car
"Thanks for the ride, Celeste" Alyssa said before closing the door. Celeste nodded before driving away and Alyssa walked towards the front door where she was welcomed by the cries of her 11 month year old daughter
"Good grief..." Alyssa mumbled softly
"M-miss Nishihara!" The maid exclaimed as she rushed towards her
"Weren't you supposed to take care of my daughter?" Alyssa asked
"I-I've tried everything but n-nothing worked. P-perhaps she w-wants to see you..." The maid said and Alyssa sighed before pushing the maid aside. She walked towards the room where Mei was in as she kept crying
"Hey hey now...quit it before you give me a headache" Alyssa said as she stepped inside and carried Mei in her arms. Mei's cries soon faded as she felt the warmth of her mother and rested her head on her shoulder
"M-ma..." Mei said and closed her eyes. Alyssa sat down on the rocking chair with the baby in her arms
"Phase two will be starting real soon, Mei. Make yourself useful and don't make me regret keeping you alive...unless you'd like to join your father" Alyssa said

"I promise by next month on your birthday you will have a good big sister. Well...that is if you play your role right and try to get Ume to adore you which of course she will. I'm glad you came out looking more like me because I'd probably just get rid of you like your father" Alyssa said and started rocking the chair back and forth
"Oh Ume...I can't wait to have you in my arms forever..." Alyssa said as she giggled softly
