"Well it's time we head back inside. It's getting colder. Come on, Bronya" Seele said as she walked past the twins

"Seele!" Liliya said and Seele turned to look at them

"Br-bronya's dead…" Rozaliya said and Seele froze in place before smiling

"..." The twins remained silent as they both looked at Seele with worried expressions
"Wh-why are you looking at me like that? Sh-she's here! We went out together! Tell them, Bron-" Seele paused as she looked beside her seeing no one

"O-other me! Other me, please! Tell me it's true! You saw her too right?! She was with us!! Right!?" Seele exclaimed and Veliona trembled before looking down. Tears rolled down her cheeks and Seele's lips quivered
"I-It's not true! That can't be! Sh-she was with me! She was he-" Seele paused as she finally realized
"Sh-she...she...really is...gone.." Seele mumbled softly and fell on her knees. Veliona knelt down s d hugged her tightly
"I'm sorry..." Veliona whispered. Seele held onto Veliona tightly as tears streamed down her cheeks

"Were you even listening!?" The old woman spoke. Shai blinked a couple of time as she stared at her grandmother with a confused expression

The old woman spoke and Shai trembled as her cheek stung from the slap. Tears rolled down her cheeks and she struggled to hold back her cries
"Not only are you a failure but a damn sick person. Ugh...how did you turn out to be like this? I've given you everything! How come you're not getting fixed?! Are you even taking your medicine!?" Her grandmother asked but Shai remained quiet
"Answer me!" Her grandmother said but Shai immediately went upstairs
"Shai Higashi! I'm talking to you!" Her grandmother exclaimed
"Leave me alone!" Shai said. She tried to get to her room until her grandmother grabbed her arm

"Get away from me!" Shai exclaimed and her eyes widened as the old woman ended up falling down the stairs. Shai watched her body fall to the ground and trembled
"...gr-grandma?" Shai asked as she walked down to check her body. Her body froze as she saw a small pool of blood start to form underneath her head
"H-huh? H-hey...hey...grandma! Grandma! I'm sorry! I'm s-sorry! I-I'll call for someone! Y-you'll be fine!" Shai said as she got up to grab the phone. Suddenly her body stopped as a shadow figure of a hand appeared holding hers to stop her from grabbing the phone
"...why should you help?" The voice asked. Shai trembled and turned around seeing a smile
"...b-because she i-is going to die?" Shai said
"But why should you care for her? Did you forget what she did just now?" She asked. Shai stood still for a moment as she began to remember a couple of memories that she wished they just disappeared
"He was a good man. Even if he was a little bit messed up in the head...he cared. Unfortunately everything went downhill once your father was gone. And your mother? She is stuck in a hospital after going through all that. She only has you now. A weak girl who can't seem to be able to do anything without me" She said
"...sh-shut up" Shai said
"You wanted her to die either way. You already had a plan right?" She asked and Shai grabbed her head as she felt a painful headache
"N-not true...h-haah...I-I didn't...n-no" Shai said and her eyes widened as she felt a touch in front of her. She stared at the smiling shadow figure who let out a soft giggle
"Heh...your heart aches everytime you think of your precious family. Because they suffered while the others are living their own happy life. Why the hell should they fucking live happily when you suffered the most? Pfft...and all because you have his blood. It's not fair..." She said and Shai panted heavily before looking at the body. She began to remember her father's death along with her mother who was sent away
"I-It's not...f-fair..." Shai mumbled and felt the shadow wrap her arms around her
"It's her fault for getting herself killed. You had nothing to do with this. Besides...there is no evidence. No one is here as a witness. You can just walk away and leave her there to die. It's what she deserves..." She whispered against her ear and Shai walked up to the body looking down at the old woman. She stared at the body with dull eyes and couldn't help but feel some joyful emotion inside
"R-right. I-it was you who e-ended up like this. I had nothing to do with it. Of course I didn't. You're dead. You deserved to die" Shai said and her lips were slightly shaky as it formed a smile
"Heheh...hehehe...hahahaha! Hahaha! You're fucking dead! You were supposed to die! Hahahaha! You fucking bit-" Shai gasped and covered her mouth

"Y-you can't! Shut up!" Shai exclaimed and soon ran out of the house. She didn't know where she was running but all she felt was the need to run
'You think you can run away! I am you! You wanted this! Quit lying to yourself and accept it!'
She heard the voice yelling in her head. Shai winced in pain as her head throbbed and gasped seeing some wierd memory going through her head

"Huh? Ack!" Shai exclaimed as she bumped right into a light post and fell down onto the cold snow. Her vision was blurry and watched the white snowflakes falling from the sky. She remained on the ground for a good while not knowing what was happening. All she felt was the freezing cold wind and the snow. Suddenly she heard a ringing noise and a couple of faded noises. She felt something by her cheek tickling her and slowly opened her eyes seeing two blurred figures

"Hey, are you okay?" Someone asked and Shai blinked a couple of times until her vision was cleared up
"Woof!" The small dog barked as he licked her face
"Pucchi, no" The girl said, pulling him back. Shai groaned and sat up rubbing her head
"A-ah fuck..." Shai said
"H-hey! You're bleeding!" The girl panicked as she saw blood
"I-I'm fine..." Shai said as she tried to get up but couldn't. Her body was shaking and looked at her hand seeing the blood

"Pl-please...d-don't..." Shai said as she got on her feet and used the light post as a way to support herself. Her legs trembled and leaned against the post while panting heavily. The girl only looked at her before holding her phone out
"Hello? Yes, I'm fine, no need to worry. I need you to prepare a warm bath. No, it's not for me-"
"W-wait huh?" Shai asked
"I don't get why you don't want to but I'm not going to leave you out here alone. Besides it looks like you've been out here for a while now" The girl said
"B-but you really shouldn't-"
"Shut up" The girl said and finished speaking with her maid
"Please hop inside the car" The girl said
"...wh-why are you helping m-me? Don't y-you know who I am?" Shai asked as she trembled
"I've seen you before in some business events. I'm Himeko Momokino" Himeko said
"H-how...are you s-so calm?" Shai asked
"What are you talking about?" Himeko asked and gasped as Shai began to lean to the side as she started to lose conscious
"I-I'm...not..." Shai mumbled and fell to the side
"Hey! Don't pass out!" Himeko exclaimed as she caught her
"...normal..." Shai mumbled before fainting. Himeko groaned as she struggled to hold the girl who was slightly taller than her
"Ugh...this idiot is seri-" Himeko flinched as her chest throbbed
"Miss?" Her driver asked
"Get her inside" Himeko said
"Understood" Her driver replied with a nod and helped get Shai inside. Himeko looked at her and sighed deeply
I really could've just left you here all alone...but...something inside me told me not to. Why the hell am I caring for you? This feeling...only appears when I see you. Why...?

"Mm...mmmgh..." Shai groaned softly and opened her eyes. She remained still for a few minutes before finally waking up
"Ah! Wh-what? Huh? Where? What's this?" Shai asked. She found herself in a warm big bathtub and quite a huge bathroom that was almost the size of her room
"Uhh...what happened?" Shai asked and felt her head throb

"Tch! Quit messing with me!" Shai said and jumped as she heard the door opened
"Is everything alright?" Himeko asked as she came in with fresh towels
"H-huh? Uhm...wait what happened?" Shai asked
"You passed out" Himeko said and walked up to her
"O-oh...wait...th-then did you-" Shai paused as she covered her body
"I've already seen your body. It's fine" Himeko said
"I-I didn't do anything...r-right?" Shai asked
"What? No. Anyways, how are you feeling?" Himeko asked
"I-I feel alright" Shai said and Himeko looked at her head
"You're lucky it wasn't anything serious. Does it still hurt?" Himeko asked
"O-only when you touch it" Shai said
"Alright. Let's get you into warm clothes" Himeko said and Shai flinched as Himeko touched her
"U-uhm..." Shai said
"Calm down. I even washed your body as well" Himeko said and Shai blushed extremely hard before looking away

After the bath, Shai allowed Himeko to help her in drying her up and getting into some fresh warm clothes. Shai was seated on the bed and Himeko came back with medicine along with a glass of water
"Here. Take it before you get sick" Himeko said handing her the medicine
"Thanks..." Shai said as she started to take the medicine
"What happened to you?" Himeko asked
"H-huh? Oh uhm...I was uhh...going for a jog and bumped into the light post? And uhm...how long have I been out for?" Shai asked holding the glass
"For about an hour" Himeko said
"Th-that long?" Shai exclaimed
"I called a doctor to come in and check up on you since you didn't want to be taken to the hospital. Why's that?" Himeko asked. Shai looked at her and looked to the side
"Everyone...thinks I'm a threat just because of my looks. I...resemble him a lot..." Shai said
"Hm? Because of that?" Himeko asked
"H-huh? Aren't you...worried?" Shai asked
"I've already seen you act...different before" Himeko said
"I-I...eh? Wait when?" Shai asked nervously
"In one of the party events. I was stepping away from the place because I needed some fresh air. That's when I heard something and...you appeared. Don't worry though nothing serious happened. All I remember was you telling me to leave you alone..." Himeko said and Shai covered her face
"Thank you for the help but I probably should get going. I'm sorry for being a bother" Shai said
"I don't mind if you stay here. Besides...it's best if you stay" Himeko said
"Eh? Why?" Shai asked. Himeko looked at her before letting out a deep sigh
"Your grandmother was found dead a couple of minutes ago..." Himeko said. Shai's eyes widened before looking down
"...she's finally dead..." Shai mumbled softly
"You can go ahead and leave if you'd like. I'm just warning you that they won't stop botheri-" Himeko paused as she heard a small laughter coming from the girl
"You're the little spoiled princess from that party. No wonder you seemed familiar. How could I forget an adorable little cutie like you?" Shai said as she got up and looked at Himeko with a playful smirk. Himeko looked back at her and Shai slowly approached her.
"I'm surprised that you decided to care for someone like me. Anyone else would've ran away at the sight of me knowing what I could do to them..." Shai said getting close
"I...just couldn't leave you there for some reason" Himeko said looking away and Shai tensed up feeling something off
This shit is happening again. Ugh...this is why I don't like being near her at all...because she causes me to feel things...
"I thought I warned you to never come near me again, princess" Shai said
"I have a name" Himeko said
"What? You don't like it, prin-ah!" Shai exclaimed as Himeko hit her head
"Get in bed" Himeko said
"Fucking make-ah! Okay! Hey! No wait wait! Alright alright!" Shai exclaimed before getting to bed
"Now be a good girl and rest" Himeko said as she smiled

"Call if you need anything..." Himeko said as she walked out of the room. Shai lied down in bed and stared at the ceiling
