It been a week since the Clawdites join the war thus causing the Republic to panic about spies being among themselves thus they are force to increase their defenses and security.
However they failed to realize that the CIS is planning to invade the food processing plants Duro.

Currently Emperor Vader is having a meeting with General Grievous about the planet Duro.

Emperor Vader: "I need you to invade the planet as reports say that the Republic would frame us for bombing the plants" he said which General Grievous coughed.

General Grievous: "Wouldn't that cause the planet to be radioactively?" He said which Emperor Vader nod.

Emperor Vader: "Yes but thankfully it won't turn the entire planet into radioactive since only five plants are making pollutants while the rest are safe as they change once the CIS convince the many owners to change" he said.

General Grievous: "I see. Well I will begin the invasion" he said then left the room.

Duro.

Currently surrounding the planet is several Republic ships as they are under the orders to bomb the world only for the CIS fleet with General Grievous flagship leading them to appear.

Thus forcing the Republic ships to battle the CIS fleet however the Republic fleet is being overwhelmed by the CIS fleet's superior fire power as many Republic ships got destroyed

This forces the remaining Republic ships to leave Duro thus allowing the CIS to gain control over Duro.

Thus forcing the senator to sign a treaty to the CIS which allows the CIS to force the remaining five plants to switch from pollutants to a safe method of processing food.

Coruscant.

It has been a day since the Republic got the reports of Duro take over which decreased the food supplies to the war.

Which didn't affect a lot but food supplies will be slower to produce.

Palpatine: "Damn it. Now the Republic won't be able to get any resources from Duro" he thought as his original plan was in ruins.
