We see everyone as they were seen arriving at a town as Dimitri looked at the map.

Dimitri: According to the map, we should be in the coastal town of Crystal Cove.

Noah: And where a friend of mine lives.

We then see them pull up to a mansion as we see them coming to the door and knock on it as they see a woman with orange hair wearing a purple outfit.

Nan: Noah! You old coot, how are you?

Noah: I'm doing fine, my grandchildren have been a great help for me. (points to his grandchildren)

Nan: That's great, what brings you here?

Noah: We're here to perform our show.

We later see them inside as they were sitting down.

Nan: And who's the dapper young man in the suit?

Noah: Why that would be Ashton, our newest addition to the circus.

Nan: Really?

Ashton: (a pleasure to meet you madam in French)

Nan: He's quite a gentleman, I have been hearing your business is going well.

Dimitri: But we don't care about money or fame, we all just-

Nan: Want to entertain people, that's what Noah always said. It's great to see your grandchildren looking so healthy, I just wish it was the same with Daphne.

Noah: What do you mean?

Nan: She's been going through this phase.

Dimitri: I fail to see how that is even a phase at all.

We later see Dimitri and his siblings as they were waiting outside as they see a girl with orange hair wearing a purple outfit coming outside as they were seen walking through town.

Ashton: I love a good mystery.

Dimitri: Well it does sound like it's a passion, and in a circus we express our passions greatly.

Dimitri: (Blushes) Will you just shut up about that?

Ashton: Methinks no.

Andruw: Just admit it dude, you have the hots for her.

Dimitri: For your information dude, you dared me to kiss her on the cheek.

Piper: She's a friend of ours from Japan, her grandfather is a friend of our grandfather.

As they were seen walking they looked to see a green van coming as they saw it.

We later see them in the mystery machine as they were seen driving into town.

Grayson: This must be an interesting place to live with all the mysteries and all.

Fred: It is, and it also helps for my traps.

Dimitri: I see, can't he just think of something else other than traps?

The gang then got out of the van as they looked to see the back open up as they see Dimitri and his siblings come out as they were seen as their hero selves.

We then see them enter the sewer as they start to walk through the sewers.

They then looked to see a hold in the wall as they saw a tunnel as they went in it as they looked around.

Elliotte: This is interesting.

Dimitri: Yeah.

Daphne: What's this? (picks up a locket)

They then saw some green slime come down as they all looked to see some construction workers as they were seen in cocoons made of a green substance as Scooby then screamed in fear as we later see them out of the sewer as the police were seen as they were talking with the sheriff.

Stone: Alright. You see what happens when you kids stick your noses where they don't belong? People get cocooned!

Dimitri: But they were like that when we found them.

Ashton: Exactly!

Andruw: Yeah, there has to be some kind of monster and-

Stone: Quiet. From this moment forward this is a crime scene and future tourist attraction, stay out of it.

Everette: But do you mind coming to the circus for tomorrow night?

Stone: Circus? I guess it couldn't hurt.

Dimitri: Thank you, I promise you it's gonna be a show you'll never forget.

We then see them all walking back to the mystery machine.

Ashton: Hey, I'm gonna see if I can talk to the sheriff.

Ashton then walked over to the sheriff and immediately grabbed a body and ran back to the gang

Dimitri: I thought you were gonna talk to the sheriff?

Ashton: Well it seems he wasn't in a listening mood.

Velma: So you stole a body? Rockin!

They then went in the mystery machine as it drove off.

Rowan: What are we going to do with him?

Fred: Don't worry, I know someone who can help.

We then go to the school in crystal cove as we see a teacher was writing photosynthesis on the board.

Raffalo: Can anyone tell me what photosynthesis is? (sees the students raising their hands) And please don't say plant farts. (sees the students lower their hands and he sighs)

We then see the gang come in holding the cocoon.

Fred: We need your help.

The students then saw the cocoon and ran away screaming in fear.

Raffalo: Couldn't you kids have waited for break?

We see the cocoon on the desk as Raffalo was checking it.

Everette: Is he?

Raffalo: No, he's alive. In some sort of stasis.

Piper: Could he get freed?

Raffalo: Maybe, but I need to run some tests. Was the sheriff ok with this?

Ashton: Yes, he was.

We later see the gang as they were seen at a place called Fruitmeir's.

Ashton: This stuff is pretty good.

Dimitri: I can agree, but do you guys have any idea what the monster could be up to?

Elliotte: Not sure, but we have to figure it out.

Piper: But we need to get going, we have to get the circus set up for tomorrow night.

We then see them leave as we see Raffalo was in the classroom as he was studying the sample of the cocoon as he heard a noise.

Raffalo: Who's there?

He then walked out and saw the janitor was mopping as he went back to the room as Raffalo was heard screaming as the janitor went to see what happened and saw Raffalo wasn't there and left as we see Raffalo was in a cocoon on the ceiling. We then go to a radio station as we see the gang there as Dimitri knocks on the door.

Dimitri: Excuse me? Is anyone there?

We then see the door open as they see a woman with brown skin with an afro.

Dimitri: Is Ashton here?

Angel: He's in here.

They then went inside as they saw Ashton on the floor asleep.

Daphne: How did he end up here?

Scooby then came to him and licked Ashton's face as he woke up.

Ashton: I did it, I took the body and Raffalo paid the price.

Dimitri: Ash, we all did it.

Shaggy: Well I didn't actually- (gets elbowed by Velma) Ow, ok we all took part.

Ashton: But I was the one who committed the crime and caused this.

Velma: We still have a clue, I brought the sample of the cocoon. (sees Scooby eating the sample) Scooby! What are you doing?

Scooby: What? It's Fruitmeir's. Yummy.

Scooby then continued to eat the sample as the others were disgusted by that.

Angel: Hey, check it. If that dog mutates, I'm putting it down, dig?

Dimitri: Hold on.

Ashton: Perhaps Scooby is on to something.

They both then walked to the sample as they both tasted it.

All: Ew...

Dimitri: No, Scooby's right.

Ashton: It's Fruitmeir's, the cocoon is made of the same stuff as Fruitmeir's dessert.

The others then looked at each other and then walked to the sample and tasted.

Elliotte: Hey, it is fruitmeir's.

Piper: So that means the monster is a fake.

Andruw: But what do we know about the owner?

Dimitri: (pulls out his phone and reads it) It seems that Franklin Fruitmeir's came into town a few months ago and is hiring female employees.

Ashton: Of course, Velma, Daphne, Rowan and Piper could go there and apply for jobs there to get us inside.

We later see Shaggy, Scooby, Andruw and Elliotte dressed as the female employees for Fruitmeir's.

Andruw: Why are we dressed like girls when Daphne, Velma, Piper and Rowan are girls?

Piper: Because we refused.

Dimitri: Look, all you need to do is let us in when Franklin leaves.

Andruw: Fine.

Dimitri: Good luck Andrea.

We later see Franklin leaving fruitmeir's closing.

Franklin Fruitmeir: Goodnight ladies, don't forget to lock up.

Andruw, Elliotte, Shaggy and Scooby: (girl voice) Goodnight, Mr. Fruitmeir.

We see Franklin Fruitmeir leaving as we see the gang walk to the door as Dimitri knocks on the door as the door opens as Andruw was there.

Dimitri: Glad you came, Andrea.

Andruw: Shut it, and you guys better have our clothes.

Ashton: (holds up their clothes) Here.

They then put their clothes on as we see them looking around the shop as Daphne goes to a door and seeing it was locked.

Daphne: There's got to be a key around here.

She then walked off to find a key as we see Scooby and Shaggy come to the door as Shaggy tried opening it as Scooby used his claw to unlock the door as they opened it and saw the slime mutant as it roared at them as they screamed as they ran.

Shaggy: Run scoob!

They then run with the monster chasing them as we see Daphne come and sees the door was opened.

Daphne: That's strange, this closet was locked a minute ago.

She walked in the closet and the door shut behind her as she tried to open it.

Daphne: Ashton help! Let me out!

Ashton: Hold on!

We see Ashton, Dimitri and Velma prying the door open with hammers as they get it opened as we see Shaggy and Scooby running and crash into Daphne.

Dimitri: Are you guys insane?

Shaggy: M-M-M-Monster. Behind us.

They looked and saw nothing.

Ashton: There's no monster.

Velma: Jinkies , where's Daphne?

Daphne: I'm down here!

They looked and saw a hole leading to the cave.

Daphne: I think I found something.

They went down the hole and saw a cave tunnel.

Dimitri: It's the same cave from before and someone was digging here and if I'm correct the distance here with fruitmeir's must mean this leads underneath the crystal cove bank.

Shaggy: Like why would a slime mutant bust a hole under fruitmeir's and to the bank?

Andruw: I think I know why.

Ashton: Then it's time we catch the monster.

Fred: That means it's trapin time.

We later see a slime mutant walking in the cave as we see Ashton come out from behind the barrels.

Ashton: Hey ugly! Over here!

The monster turned and saw Ashton as it went after him as he ran to a part of the cave as we see the gang were setting up the trap.

Dimitri: Everything is set up.

We then see Ashton running as the monster was coming.

Ashton: Now!

We see the group pull the rope as we see a bowling ball roll down and land to a target making a gnome go up in the air and the parachute open up landing on a platform making a watering can tip over watering a potted flower as it tipped over a ball as it started to go up making an anvil swing across and scissors cut the rope making it fall into a minecart as it rolled down to a cage making it go down and then as we see the monster on the target the cage fell down as Dimitri saw it coming down to them as he then jumped out of the way as the cage fell onto the gang trapping them in it

Dimitri: Oh, come on!

The slime monster then went to the cage and then trapped them all in slime as it saw Dimitri and went after him as we see the gang trying to get free.

Ashton: Hey, guys, this stuff is fruitmeir's.

The gang then started to eat their way out as we see Dimitri running out of the hole and in fruitmeir's as Dimitri thought for a minute as we see the slime monster come out and start to look around for Dimitri.

Dimitri: Peekaboo!

The monster turned and was met with a blast of fruitmeir's as Dimitri was seen holding a nozzle as we see the gang come out.

Piper: What happened?

Velma: Dimitri, you captured the monster.

Dimitri: Thanks.

We then saw the police come into the shop and saw the monster stuck to the wall.

Ashton: And now it's time to see who this really is?

Elliotte: Probably Franklin Fruitmeir.

Stone: That's impossible because Franklin Fruitmeir was the one who called.

We then see Franklin Fruitmeir come in.

Franklin: I was at home making a clipper ship out of circus balloons when my silent alarm went off (sees the monster) Oh good heavens, what is that?

Piper: So if it wasn't franklin fruitmeir then who is it?

Ashton: May I?

Dimitri: Go ahead.

Ashton: Thank you.

Ashton pulls out his wand and points it at the monster

Ashton: Revelio.

The mask was then removed as they saw it was Professor Raffalo

All: Professor Raffalo?!

Dimitri: I had a suspicion that Raffalo was behind all this.

Ashton: So did I, it turned out Raffalo discovered that cave by accident and learned that it connects to the bank.

Dimitri: So he used the slime monster as a disguise and used fruitmire's to make people think Franklin Fruitmire was behind all this.

Ashton: And sure was smart of him to fake his own disappearance to throw off suspicion.

Piper: But why would he need money, he's a teacher?

Ashton: But he doesn't get paid enough.

Raffalo: Yes, and I would have gotten away with it if it weren't for you... you...

Elliotte: Meddling?

Raffalo: Yes, meddling, you meddling kids.

We then see the cops take him away.

Ashton: But what about this locket? (holds up the locket)

Raffalo: (looks at it) Never seen it before.

He was then taken away as the others looked at each other.

Ashton: Well I say we did well on this case.

Dimitri: Yeah, come on we have a show tonight.

Ashton: Oh right.

We later see everyone at the circus as we see Dimitri was seen doing the trapeze as he landed to the ground as the crowd cheered for him as Ashton appears in a puff of smoke as music starts to play.

The crowd began to cheer for Ashton as he took a bow as they then heard growling and saw a lizard-like beast come out as it charged at Ashton as he dodged it as we see the others coming as they began to fight the creature as the audience was watching it.

Mrs. Dinkley: Oh, is this part of the show?

We then see the others as they were seen fighting it as they saw it was too strong.

Dimitri: Ash, I have a trick that can stop it, but it won't be pretty.

Dimitri then looked at the beast as it saw him.

Dimitri: Chain prison!

We then see various chains appear as they start to wrap themselves around the monster as it is seen trying to break free.

Dimitri: Not so fast, thorn chains!

We then see the chains on the beast produce sharp thorns stabbing deep into the creature's body as the others saw Dimitri holding out his hand as dark energy was emitting from it.

Dimitri: Within this virgin of cold ore, who shall swallow even your screams with her embrace, suffer in anguish as your entire body is stabbed and skewered, I cast the iron maiden!

They all then looked as they saw a swirling vortex appear as the crowd looked to see an iron maiden appear as we see the iron maiden open up revealing inside of it had many sharp spikes

We then see the lizard beast was brought to the inside of the iron maiden as we see the doors of the iron maiden started to close as we see Dimitri as he closed his hand into a fist and the iron maiden was closed tightly as we see the iron maiden glow brightly as they all watched as the iron maiden vanish and we see the lizard beast fall to the ground as it laid motionless.

Dimitri: Well, that's that.

The audience then looked in shock at what they had witnessed.

Stone: I hope this circus has more of that because I wanna see that again! (starts applauding) Encore! Encore!

We then saw the rest of the audience start to applaud as the others then came together and took a bow. We later see the gang as they were talking to Dimitri as he explained to them about themselves.

Daphne: So, a thousand years ago Ashton was a sorcerer who was friends with gargoyles whose clan was destroyed by the one human they trusted?

Ashton: Yes.

Velma: But how did the spell get broken?

Dimitri: It was designed to end when the castle rose above the clouds. We will need to be going soon.

Daphne: Will it be alright if we joined you guys?

Dimitri: Sure.

We then see them getting ready to head out as they look at the town.

Dimitri: I know one thing for sure, we will meet more friends along the way.
