Len's POV

I opened up the letter and began to read it out loud.
-Dear Lenny, I hope you are doing okey. I love Ireland, I hope you can come visit soon.
Aaanyway, I heard there has been quite a few reports of missing children, every time in a different city. I have done some research and it turns out that the presumed kidnappings have happened when there was this traveling circus in town. I was hoping you could go check it out.

I folded the card and left it to rest on the desk. 'Sounds interesting' I thought as I stared at the closed piece of paper.
Crumbled up in the envelop was a ticket decorated with lively colors with a circus tent in the middle, hidden deeper within the letter a train pass to Edinburgh for the 15th of June rested.

I had given it some thought. I needed to decide wether or not to take the case. I finally came to a decision.

«2 days later»

The train station was mostly empty, there only seemed to be elder men and women, and it was raining.

As the train approached the station I took a couple passes closer to the eadge. The smell of smoke invaded my lungs and made me cough.

Once it came to a full stop and opened it's doors to me I stepped in and sat to the closest seat to the door.

While the train resumed it's travels through the country I stared out the window, listening to the dabbing sounds that the rain drops produced as they crashed against the thick glass.

This was the first case I have done without Rin.
I wonder what will happen.

Ia/ Aria's POV

Once the show ended I retreated to my tent.
I entered and sat down on a wooden chair in front if a mirror. I grabbed an old rag and dipped it in a glass of water I had sitting on the counter, I pressed it on my skin and started to clean my face free of makeup.

Removing the paint off my visage the sound of people conversing invaded my room.
Finally finished cleaning myself I went back out to see what the ruckus was about.

"What's going on?" I asked one of my companions.

"Someone wants to join the circus, they say he is amazingly talented!"
I started to follow the crowd to the tent where we practice for our shows.
Once I was in I gazed up and saw a blond boy, about my age, doing all kinds of stunts and tricks a top of the tight rope. Suddenly, slow claps resounded through the closed space.

"That was amazing! Your hiered!" A familiar voice spoke behind me, it was Gumi.

The mysterious boy climbed down the ladder and made his way to Gumi.

"Thank you so much" he said shaking Gumi's hands.

"No problem, good to have 'ya. Anyway, first things first, we have to pick you an outfit and what to do on the shows, But above all we have to find you a place to sleep; Lucky for you there's a free tent, so if you could follow me"
"Uh... Okey."
After the blond stranger left, everyone went back to what they were doing. I went back to my tent.

«The next day»

"Hey!!! IAAA!!!! I need to ask you a favor!!!"
Gumi ran towards me.

"What is it?"

"I was wondering if you could help Yellow practice! Oh! And give him a tour of the place!"

"Yellow?"

"Yeah, he's the boy that I hired yesterday. Can you please help?"

"Uh, that's not going to catch on"
I whispered.

"What?" Gumi looked at me with a deadly smile.

"Yes, of course I'll help." I smiled innocently.

"Great! I told him to meet you in front if the training tent at 10 o clock!" I put my hand in a pocket on my dress and retrieved an old hand clock, it marked 9:30.
"You can still have breakfast c'mon, let's go! Luka is waiting for us!" She held my hand and dragged me to the canteen.

I was in front of practice tent, waiting for the new boy, I looked to the left and then back to the right. No sign of him...That's when I felt a light tap on my shoulder.

"A... I'm sorry, I was told that I was supposed to meet someone to show me around here." He respectfully explained.

"Yeah, that's me." I said in a silent voice.

"Uu, ok... Let me introduce me properly. My name is L- a... Yellow."
"What's your name?"

"IIII just told you."he replied with a confused expression.

"No, I wanna know your real name, or is it actually Yellow."

"Heh, Ok, My real name is Len. Yours?"

"I'm Aria"

"Iiiis that your real name?"

"Not really, my real name is Ia, but just call me Aria". I have my reasons.

"Okey, Aria".

"Well, let's begin the tour." I pointed at the tent.
"Right know were in front of the practice tent, which how the name implies it's where we practice. Any questions?".

"Nope".

"Okey. Let's keep going."

"I'm guessing you already know where the bedroom's are."

"Yes."

"So..Uuu... Did you sleep well?" I tried to say in an attempt of socializing.

"Yes, I did. Uh! Are you blushing?"

"N-no! My cheecks are always red! It's just a natural thing." My cheeks burned hot red.

"Well, okey. Do you sleep in any of these tents?"

"No, I sleep in another area of the circus. The top performers get special privileges."
"For example?"

"For example, you don't have to wake up early to grab all the food. We have a portion of the food reserved for us, We get special tents..." I listed.

"Interesting, who are the top performers?"
"Luka, Gumi, Yuma, Kaito, Dell, Miku, Yuzuki Yukari and myself... But you could become on too." I mumbled loud enough for him to hear.

"Heh,I'll do my best." He chucked showing me his smile.

The tour came to an end, I  brought Len  to the practice tent in order to practice. Gumi was waiting for me.

You may have noticed, I have mentioned her a few times, she's kind of like the ring leader of the circus.

"Heeeeyy!!! How did the tour go?"she yelled.

"It went well" I answered."We're going to go practice now-"

"Alright, have fuuun!!." She ran off, again.

"Wait!! What am I supposed to teach him??!!" I sighed and turn to Len, he was scratching the back of his head, avoiding my gaze.

Miku and Dell were there. They are the ones who do the trapeze act.

"They look pretty close" he observed.

"Y-yeah,I guess you have to have a great deal of trust to do this act in particular. I will go introduce you to them." I took his hand and dragged him.

"Okey" Miku saw me and waved me, I timidly waved her back.

"Hey Aria!" Miku exclameted.

"Hello." Greeted Miku with a cheerful tone.

"Hi guys."

"Oh! Hey, Who is your friend there?"she said with a mischievous grin on her face.
"He's just the new boy! Gumi asked me to show him around!"

"Having fun?" Dell joked for one of the first times.

"A-A-u-uuughh." I groans.
'I swear I'm a walking tease magnet.'
"Aww, Ia!! you're blushing." Teased Miku.

"No I'm not! My checks are always red!"

"Then they're redder than usual!" Cries Miku." Well, your supposed to go practice now! Don't want to get in your way. Anyway it's nice to meet you..."

"My name is Len." He smiled.

"Nice to meet you Len!" She extends her hand toward Len, he happily accepts.

"Okey, Aria, let's go practice!"

"Soo... How did I do?" Asked Len whipping his brow free o sweat.

"You are strong, but you have no technic what so ever." It came out colder than I wanted to.

"That was direct and...cold!"

"I'm sorry. I'm just trying to be honest."
I frankly said.

"C'mon, don't do make that face! Was I that bad?!"
"No!no! You were fine! You just have to practice a bit more".I hid my face with my bangs.

"Hheeeeeeyyy Guuuuys" I didn't have to turn around to see who was shouting so quirky-like.

"Hello Gumi. Is something wrong"

"No, I just wanted to tell you two that I think you should perform together.That all!" She suggested with a big smile.

"What?" We both exclaimed.

"Yeah, you can do like a dance on a tightrope or something! Oh and it's an order!"

"When are we supposed to perform together?" Len asked in a worried tone.

"Tomorrow!!"

"Tomorrow?" I yelled loudly, Miku turn around.

"Yeah, good luuuuuuck!!!" And just like that she left, skipping all the way to the entrance.
Both Len and I stayed silent for a few seconds, not knowing what to say, Len suddenly broke the ice.

"So, uh, what are we supposed to do?"

"Um...ok, so first of all. We should practice the dance and stuff, then we go get the costumes." I said organizing my time in my mind.

"Then, let's get started, shall we?"

Yaaay, first chapter. I fell it was to long...oh well! For starters, sorry I didn't introduce all the characters in the first chapter. Probably by the second, third chapter everyone will be introduced. I hope you enjoyed it. I've been wanting to do a story related to a circus( ^ω^ ), and I also threw in a little bit of Dell x Miku!!! Which I'm really starting to ship them. Again, I hope you enjoyed!
