Ia/Aria's POV

We practiced for two hours and a half now. The dance we were preparing was going pretty well. It was a mix of ballet and acrobatic.

"I think we can take a break." I sat down on the ground. I grabbed a towel close by me and whipped my brow.

"Are we supposed to get the costumes now?"
"Um... Yeah." I stayed on the ground, not moving a single inch.

"Aare you coming?" Asked Len starring at me.

"Mm...No, you will be fine on your own." I smile innocently, twirling a strand of my hair in between two fingers.

"Okey!" He sat down next to me and asked.
"Are you being lazy?"
"If I was lazy I wouldn't be practicing this dance with you." I avoided his gaze.

"Then, what... are you afraid of the city or something?" He said in a sarcastic voice.
"I-uh-well. You see-." I tried to say. I'm a horrible lier.
"Don't worry about it, we'll go as fast as possible and then come back here, okey? There isn't anything to be afraid of."

"Do I have to?" I whined.

"Yup!" He affirmed me.

"Pfffftttttt...fine!" I pouted, frowning.

"Get ready, we meet at the entrance way in ten minutes!" He ordered.

"Are you ready?"

"Yes." I forced a smile.

"Then let's go!"

To get to Melrose, we only had to walk about five minutes, the circus was parked close to the city.

"I grabbed a map and asked Gumi if she knew any tailoring shops. There's one on 7th street Greenwich." He started explaining as he unfolded the crumbled up map.

We walked together through the streets of the Scottish city, the smell of horses and smoke peppered through the streets.

People started to stare at me, with a strange look in they're eye. I hid behind Len's back.
"W-what are you doing?!" He loudly whispered.
"Every one is looking at me funny, it's really uncomfterable." I pouted, my cheeks turning brighter than red.

"Uh, o...key. I think I know the reason they're looking at you like that." Chuckling, he said.

"Whyyyy?" I whispered back.

"It's your dress, all the women here are wearing long dresses." He kept on giggling.

"So, what if my dress is short. It's not like I can buy a ridiculously expensive, customized, designer dress..."

"Well, people aren't quite familiar with this sight."

"Am I strange?"

"No, no. There isn't anything wrong with you." His words sounded true, so I believed him.
We kept silent for the rest of the way. I hid behind Len the hole time, until we arrived at the Taylor shop.

"Now that didn't take to long now did it?"
I only growled in response.

"Oh, come on!" I growled again, and rewarded his tease by pulling his hair."awawaw!!!"

"Excuse me miss" a little boy said as he tugged on my dress"Would you like a newspaper?"
"Yes, please, how much?"
"Oh, it's free."

"Well, I don't believe in 'free', take this, as a tip." I pulled out a half folded 10£ bill out of my pocket.

"Really?! Thank you miss! BYEEE!"the boy handed me a newspaper and traded it for my bill, he then happily skipped down the street.

"See! You're not weird! Your nice!"

I couldn't help but smile, that made me feel...happy, like I felt when dancing. Not wanting to show my emotions I covered my face with the newspaper and began reading.

"Hey! I wanna see too!"
He pouted.

"He grabbed on of the corners of the front page and I held the other one."
"Another kidnap" I mumbuled to myself.
"Another?"

"Yeah, every where we go there's always a kidnap. It's kind of weird." I shrugged, trying to hold a tear.
"I feel really bad for the parents. Not knowing where they're children are...Anyway, let's go back."

Len's POV

When we got back to the circus it was almost time for the show. Aria gave me my costume, and I marched to my room to change.

"So, there has been another kidnaping."
I laid in my bed.
"I better dig deeper. And something tells me it's one of the top seven."

When I was done changing I looked in the mirror in my room. I had a half white, half black, suit. Kind of looked like a tuxedo, however it was comfortable to move in.

I made my way to the tent where we perform. Aria was waiting for me at the back entrance.
She was wearing a costume similar to mine, half the dress white, the other black. Same thing with the tights and hair tied in two perfectly done pigtails.
"You look nice."
"Th-thanks." She said and hid her face.
"Shall we go in?"
"Okey."
Inside the tent was the hole performing cast. There was a pink haired man with a girl dressed as a rabbit. Another pink haired girl, accompanied by a man with dark blue hair, with a top hat on his head. Finally there was Gumi.
Everyone was ready for the show. My heart skipped a beat. I think this was the first time I actually did something in front of a live audience.
I gulped. The blue haired man laid his hand on my shoulder.
"Don't worry, I'm sure you'll be fine!"

Gumi runs to the audience and yells
"You ready, boys and girls?! Ladies and gentleman?!"
The crowd roared. Gumi retreated behind the curtains, the purple bunny girl goes on stage, she goes to the middle and extends her right hand.(What the hell).
Suddenly, out of The pink haired woman stepped out. She grabs hold of her whip, a lion appears in front of her, making it do all kinds of stunts and tricks.
"What does he do?" I turned to Aria.
"You'll see."
He removes his top hat only to reveal two horns on his head, one on each side.
"What?" I murmured in amazement.

The blue haired man grabbed a small dagger and started to twist and turn it, finally giving it the harmless shape of a heart. He went to the audience and gave the item to a little girl, her eyes glistening in wonder.
"Thank you mister!" She said, showing her gratitude.
"No problem little missy." He winked at her and went back behind the curtains.

The stage was empty, until a cloud of smoke shrouded the stage, and as it cleared the purple bunny girl appeared.
She threw high into the air a King of Hearts card and caught it in one swift movement, she then showed the card to the audience so to revel it turned in a King of Spades card.Judging by that little trick she was obviously a magician.

She pulled out a bouquet out of her hat and turned it into a knife and somehow made the utensil hover in mid air. No strings or such things were visible.The girl moved to the nearby wall and that pink haired man appeared and took the center of the stage.
He took the floating knife in his right hand.
"That's Yukari and Yuuma." I herd Aria whisper.

He grabbed the knife that and aimed for the bunny girl's heart.
The spectators gasped at the sight of him throwing the utensil to her heart,it flies straight. To hi target, cutting the air. Soon before it reached her heart, it stopped and turned into a red ballon.
'What the hell...'
The knife thrower grabbed another one from his pocket and threw it in order to pop the ballon.
Dancing in mid air it reached the ballon and exploded confetti and streamers. Before those two leave the stage the raise they're hands and where they stood was replaced by a big metal cage with a pink haired woman and a lion inside. The woman was a lion tamer, she made it do all kinds of tricks in the cage, moving her whip side to side and then led it outside. She picked some kids to go pet it. She left along with her lion friend.
Then it was Dell and Miku's turn, who where ready for they're act. They were the ones who did the trapeze number.

As I watched the show in amazement, Aria dabbed my shoulder to remind me we were next.

When the two teenagers were done they landed perfectly on the ground and ran back stage.

Aria grabbed my hand and blinked, suddenly, I was no longer behind the curtains, but in the center of the stage

'what? What?! How did I get here?!'

Aria squeezed my hand an pulled me out of my thoughts. The music changed and we started to suave in sink with the music.
My feet moving as if walking on a cloud. My body moving along with Aria's, I threw her in the air, her fragile looking figure spinning in the air, I would then catch her and return her to the floor. Sparks and rays of light followed us.

'I have never seen this kind of technology'

When we finished, we bowed and I went straight to the curtains, flustered, not even realizing I was dragging Aria along with me. And so came the show to an end.

Outside the tent, most of the spectators had left the primacies. I marched back to Aria, curious of what had happened, curious of the cause of those mysterious lights.

"Hey, Aria, how did you do all those special effects?" This question could very much help me with my investigation, so of course I asked.
"Oh,uh...well your part of the circus I guess you should know, we use magic." She answered with a straight face
"Hah, good one, I assume your gonna hire Bigfoot to make his acquaintance on the next show?" I taunted.

"No, if you don't believe me that's fine, but we use Magic." Her expression was more serious than before, it was certain she was telling the truth.
"Wait.... What!!!"

Yay, one more chapter, sorry this was WAY to long. sooo I hope you liked this one, it might have been a little longer than before. Anyway, I have a fab out to ask you, if you could request some drawings for me to do. I have a trip coming up( 12h on an airplane) and I'm gonna get really bored, so please, if you want, request me anything, I guarantee I will draw it!
