1: A hammer and nail

"Dipper, put up signs in the creepy part of the forest, it's totally safe as long as we get more money." Stan Pines yelled to his great nephew, "what!?! Why can't Mabel do it?" Dipper yelled pointing at his twin, who was playing a game of cards with her stuffed animals, upside down? (True story, but I was reading.) "Because she's the cute one!"Stan said, Dipper exclaimed and went outside.

"Stupid Stan, stupid Mabel, stupid- aah!" Dipper had tripped on a string, the ground ripped apart to reveal a deep hole. Dipper screamed as he fell in, he had scrapped his arms against many rocks. The boy looked up to see the sunlight disappearing as the hole closed, "Mabel, anyone!" He yelled as he fell, his yelling was cut short as he finally crashed to the ground, hitting his head knocking him out cold.

"Hey grunkle Stan, where's Dip-stick?" Mable asked, Stan looked up from Duck-tecktive and scratched his stomach, "he left at three, it's eight!" "He's probably hanging out with friends." Stan pat Mabel's head, "Grunkle Stan, he doesn't have friends, you should know that!!!" Mabel yelled, throwing her arms up. "He doesn't seem like the type, we'll look for him first thing in the morning." Mabel started whining, "okay okay, just stop doing... that" Stan gestured his hand towards Mabel.

"Dipper, Diiiipeeeer!!!" Mabel yelled, doing her flashlight every where, something caught her eye, "Dippers hat, and a broken string?" Mabel picked up the brownish hat and put it on her head. As she left she could have sworn she heard his voice, she shook it off as an animal.

Dipper woke up to the sound of yelling, everything was dark, except for a dim light. He heard the sound again, his eyes widened with realization. "Mabel," he whispered, "Mabel, I'm down here, be careful, Mabel!" He started yelling, jumping, pounding on the dirt walls. His hand fell, "there's no point, they can't hear me, no one can," a tear fell to the floor, "I'm going to die in here alone..." his knees buckled as he sobbed, "and I haven't even said goodbye!"

"Grunkle Stan, I hope he didn't get hurt," Mabel said crying, "me too kid, I can get Wendy and Soos to look first thing in the morning. I'll call the cops if they can't find him then, okay pumpkin?" Mabel nodded wiping her tears away, "yeah, we'll find him!!!" "Let's get you to bed okay?" "Yeah" Stan carried Mabel, he looked out the window for a moment and went upstairs.

(Would have been cool to end it there but it needs to be longer... ugh.)

The Pines twins were never the same after that, Mabel had cut her hair just to see Dipper when she looked in the mirror, Dipper was always drawing a shooting star in the dirt to remember Mabel by. "Look kid, it's been three weeks, if he comes back, he definitely won't be the same..." Mabel looked mad, "How could you say that! We can't just give up on him!" Stan tried to reason, "look kid-" "No Mason wouldn't give up on us, so we can't give up on him!!!" Stan nodded, understanding, "alright kid, we'll keep looking."

After that argument everyone searched harder than before, knowing Mabel was in an even worse mood. Mabel didn't even wear her clothes anymore, she now looked like Dipper's identical twin. (Boys and girls are not identical, they are fraternal, it's not rocket science people. Fun fact, my twin and I are fraternal, but 'we look identical')

Saying that Dipper was a mess was an understatement, his hair was in knots, he was covered in dirt and grime, and he didn't have a shirt. Dippers sanity wasn't in the best spot, he was talking to himself all the time, but it had slowly stopped as at this point he had put it as his sole purpose to survive. He had been killing any small animal that had come into his hole, from rats to gophers. Somehow water would seep in so that Dipper could stay hydrated. The small boy had a routine, sleep, hunt, drink, hunt, dig, hunt, sleep. It was the same everyday, it had become natural for him, he didn't need to think about it as it naturally came to him.

Dipper had stopped talking, finding it unnecessary. His sanity slowly slipped, he started to act more like an animal. It had been a month and a half when he gave up on being sane, he had also completed half of the work to get out of the hole. Dipper couldn't remember what fresh air smelt like, or what sunshine felt like, or the feeling of being loved. Dipper had grown fond of his hole, as it had been his home for the past month and a half, he found it hard to imagine leaving it.

Mabel had started cutting, she had grown depressed and felt out of control. Cutting had made her feel in control of one thing, her pain. The pain was a drug, when she couldn't find anything to hurt herself with she just longed for a blade. When she got Waddles however, the cuts disappeared, never to be seen again. Waddles was her best friend, she had shut out everyone, but decided to let them back in, maybe they could her her through her depression.

When Stan and Ford argued that made Mabel mad, he had just gotten his twin back from only god knows where, and he fights with him? Mabel would have killed someone for her brother, literally, whenever someone said anything bad about him, she beat then up. It was a bad habit, but she didn't care, no one talks about her brother like that. "Hey Dip-dot... I know you can't hear me but, I need to keep hope, I know you're out there, and you're alive... just please, come home... I need you Mason, I really do..."

Mabel had been sitting on a log when a man with golden hair, yellow eyes, and a suit came up to her. "What's burst your bubble, little star." He pointed at the star on the hat, "nothing, you wouldn't understand..." he smiled, "you know what little star, I'll give you a gift, I can make you have everything you've ever wanted." He held her chin, pulling her head up. "Really?" "Yes, but you must give me something I want." Mabel was ready to give anything, "it looks like a snow globe, but it is very dangerous-" Mabel grabbed the rift from her backpack, "is this it?" The man chuckled, "why yes it is, little star. Now please, give it to me." Mabel then slowly handed it over to him. "Now, for your end of the bargain." The two smiled, one ready for her brother, the other ready for the end of the world.

A/N welp, there's that!!! This will be interesting to write, give me your opinion on this. Are you ready for more? Okay my little devil dogs, have a good morning, afternoon, night!!!
