In a room yuma sitting on the bed in his own thoughts and depressed and astral floating in his own thoughts thinking about the same thing.

The number hunter kite the way he dueled against them and counter every move they make which made them lose confidence of themselves.

Yuma 'thought': I wasn't strong enough to beat him, he outsmarted me every move I make and counter everything, he's in a whole new level. Said in his mind with a neutral look.

Astral in his own thoughts about the duel against kite.

Astral 'thought': It is my fault about we almost lost to the number hunter. Said in his mind with a neutral look.

Then a flashback of kite ordering his dragon to attack and was about to finish them.

Astral 'thought': If the duel didn't stop I would have been vanished, but more importantly. Said in his mind with a neutral look.

Another flashback about (y/n)'s dragon appeared in spirit form roaring at kite's photon dragon who roar back and an energy phenomenon happened between the two dragons.

This made astral very intrigued at this.

Astral 'thought': The number hunter's dragon and (y/n)'s dragon have some kind of connection between them but I felt like they are speaking to each other or that there something more between them. Said in his mind with a questionable look.

Both of them still thinking until the door opened reveal to be (y/n) walking in and noticed both of them in their thoughts.

Y/N 'thought': This is the first time I've seen yuma like this but can't blame him for what he finally understood. Said in his mind with a neutral look.

Then he walks towards them and then hit yuma's head making him fall to the floor which he glare at his brother.

Yuma: WHAT GIVES BRO!?. Yelled with a annoyed look.

Y/N: Getting you out of your thoughts yuma, look I know that your down about what happened but don't let that stop you. Said with a neutral look.

Which he stood up glaring at him.

Yuma: Really because if you didn't get it I almost lost against someone who will takes the numbers and my own soul, how can I stop thinking of that possibility about that bro. Said with a serious look.

Which (y/n) can see yuma's expression quite well and see he's very afraid, eading him to choose one option for yuma's safety.

Y/N: Then give me the numbers. Said with a serious look.

This brought his surprise along with astral hearing what he said.

Y/N: He won't come after you if the numbers are with me and not you. Said with a serious look.

Yuma: Are you crazy, he will come after you with everything he's got to obtain those cards and your soul. Said with a serious look.

Y/N: I know that's why I'm going to do this since your too afraid to duel against kite again. Said with a serious look.

This made him flinch at that facing kite again and looks down in shame.

Y/N: Look yuma you can't be down so easily just because of kite, you must go forward and feel the flow. Said with a smile.

This got him to cheer up a little hearing that.

Then the door opened to reveal tori, bronk and cathy.

Bronk: Yo guys you got to see this. Said with a smile.

This brought their attention and bronk shows them an announcement of a world duel carnival.

Y/N: World duel carnival. Said with a interest look.

Bronk: Yeah it's a big tournament and it's going to be held on heartland, more importantly tough and strong duelist from all over the world will be participating. Said with a smile.

This brought both brothers attention about strong duelist all over the world.

(Y/N) feel excited to face such strong duelist in the tournament.

Yuma on the hand knows that kite will be there.

This brought Cathy's attention seeing him shake a little.

Cathy: Hey yuma aren't you excited?. Said with a curious look.

Which brought the attention of tori and bronk seeing yuma so down.

Before they ask suddenly grandma haru appeared out of nowhere.

(A/N: I asked myself so many times how the hell she appeared right in front of him so suddenly.)

Haru: Yuma. Said with a smile.

They got surprise to see her here out of nowhere.

Yuma: Grandma when did you get here?. Said with a surprise look.

(Y/N) is confused is how his adopted grandmother appeared like that and truthful he will never know.

Then she drop a big backpack on the floor filled with food supplies.

Haru: I want you to do a errand for me and take these to a friend of mine out of town. Said with a smile.

This got (y/n)'s attention knowing one person out of town.

Yuma: Looks kind of heavy but it's saturday grandma. Said with a annoyed look.

Which she got mad and a red aura appeared around her.

(A/N: I will admit at this part that is scary as hell that will make the devil itself run away in fear.)

Haru: Who are you and what happened to my kind and generous grandson. Said with a angry look.

This got the kids shake in fear especially yuma who sigh.

Yuma: Fine I'll go. Said with a neutral look.

She smile to hear that and walk away put of the room and was about to go downstairs.

Y/N: Your sending him to the duel sanctuary isn't it?. Said from behind.

She turn to see her adopted grandson smiling at her and smile back at him.

Haru: Yes I can tell he's been through something which he understood about what is on the line isn't it that right (y/n)?. Said with a smile.

He smile as well and nod.

Haru: Your going with him on this journey as well it has been a while since you and roku saw each other. Said with a smile.

He shook his head.

Y/N: I could but this is yuma's journey, let him do this alone to get his feeling the flow back on track. Said with a smile.

Which she smile hearing that and then threw him something which he caught it and see are tickets for the new amusement park that was opened a month ago much to his surprise.

Y/N: Where did you get these?. Said with a surprise look.

Haru: A friend of mine send it to me said that she couldn't go because one of her grandchildren who wanted to go felt sick and look after the little one, so I think it's time for you and tori to hook up. Said with a smile and then smirk at the last part.

Which he blush at that planning to get the tickets to ask tori out.

Y/N: Thanks grandma I owe you one. Said with a smile.

She just smile at him.

Haru: After everything you done for me ever since we adopted you it is at least I can do for your happiness (y/n). Said with a smile.

He nod and then left to find her while haru giggle.

Haru: Oh young love both of them are good for each other but I feel a bit worried about when rio wakes up. Said with a smile and worried at the last part.

Then she remembered something else.

Haru: Wait wasn't there another girl he met couple years ago and she moved away, I think her name was anna. Said with a curious look.

(Y/N) found tori coming out of the room and noticed him.

Tori: Hey (y/n) planning to go with yuma. Said with a smile.

He shook his head much to her surprise.

Y/N: Not today I get the feeling that he needs to do this alone I can't be around to save him all the time. Said with a smile.

She nod of understanding about that fact.

Y/N: And I have plans for the two of us. Said with a smile.

Which he show her the tickets much to her surprise to see.

Y/N: Want to go with me to the new amusement park. Said with a smile.

Her face turn red and heart beating fast hearing what he just said.

Tori 'thought': He just asked me out, YEEES!!. Said in her mind with a nervous look and yelled at the last part.

Tori: Sure I would love to. Said with a smile.

He smile to hear that and bit nervous as well but worked out at the end.

Y/N: I'll see you at eleven there ok. Said with a smile.

She nod and left to go home prepared herself.

Then he looks at bronk and cathy who are grinning at him.

Bronk: Finally have the courage to ask her out. Said with a grin.

Which he blush at that and composed himself.

Y/N: Yeah and glad she said yes. Said with a smile.

Cathy: I know for a certain both of you will be a great couple. Said with a smile.

He nod and looks at them.

Y/N: Both of you look after yuma for this one, I may not be there for him but you two support him all the way ok. Said with a smile.

Both of them nod of understanding about what yuma so down lately.

Bronk: Also you gonna participate the tournament right. Said with a smile.

He nod with a smile.

Y/N: You bet bronk gotta go prepared myself. Said with a smile.

He walks in the room and then threw yuma out of the room.

Yuma: HEY!!. Yelled with a annoyed look.

Y/N: My room remember. Said inside the room.

He went to get clothes to prepare himself and noticed astral looking at him.

Astral: Your not coming with us?. Said with a questionable look.

He shook his head knowing this is something for both him and yuma to learn.

Y/N: I can't be around all the time to help you and yuma astral, but I know this journey will help both of you to grow stronger. Said with a smile.

That got his attention and nod understanding that fact.

Astral: Very well then. Said with a neutral look.

He smile to see he understood.

Y/N: One more thing astral. Said with a smile.

The spirit looks at him with a questionable look.

Y/N: Don't let what happened from that duel bring you down, it is alright to feel afraid with something is on the line but if you believe in your own strength and your deck nothing is impossible, keep that in mind. Said with a smile.

This got the spirit interested of his words and nod.

Astral: I'll take your words on that one (y/n) and thanks. Said with a small smile.

He nod with a smile seeing his friend getting his confidence back.

Astral: I got one question, what's a date?. Said with a curious look.

Which made the teen face red hearing what Astral just said.

At the entrance of the amusement park.

Many people who are with families are coming in the park to enjoy the sights and new rides to try on.

(Y/N) standing by the sides wearing a blue jacket with a black shirt underneath it, black sports pants, red and black shoes and still has his scarf around him.

He even has his deck and duel disk with him in case for a fun duel or rather a number duel.

He wait for tori to show up to go in and now looks at his watch and see it eleven and five meaning five minutes has passed.

Tori: Sorry to be late. Said out of nowhere.

He turn at her direction and blush to see she wear her dress.

She noticed him blushing and giggle.

Tori: How do I look. Said with a smile and blush a little.

He felt his throat stop to say anything but then composed himself.

Y/N: You look very pretty tori. Said with a smile and a blush.

Which she smile a little and blushing a bit to see the dress which her mother recommended worked.

But she still blush at her words her mother said to her.

Ms. Meadows: My little girl going on a date with (y/n) the two of you alone in a tunnel of love, KYAAAHHHH!!. Said in her mind and squealed at the last part.

She blush at that and see him raised his hand toward her.

Y/N: Shall we my lady. Said with a smile.

She smile and nod.

Then took his hand and both if them walk in the entrance but not noticing an image appeared about the three mascots of this new amusement part.

An image of captain corn the pirate with a grin on his face, thunder spark the thunder  hero and lastly princess cologne together smiling.

P.S: I know that this chapter didn't have a duel scene but this is the start of the arc of the manga I read a long time ago about these three number hunters in the park and yes it will be only (y/n) and tori in this arc while the others are with yuma at the duel sanctuary getting his feeling the flow back on track.
