Both scorch and chills laugh.

Chills: That kid had it coming. Said with a smirk.

Scorch: Yeah and his biggest mistake was to summon out a high attack point monster just to be destroyed. Said with a smirk.

They laugh again making yuma mad hearing that.

The smoke start to clear up and see how he is.

But they are shocked to see what they won't believe it.

There is not scratch at all and his life points.

Even his swordsman still on his field but holding some kind of light shield.

The fire monster shoots its attack straight at shark head on.

That made scorch annoyed to see his attack failed and grabbed three cards from his hand.

Scorch: Yeah so what it will delay your downfall this once, I place three cards facedown and end my turn. Said with a serious look.

Then three face down cards materialized in front of him.

Y/N: Then it is my move and I draw. Said with a serious look.

He drew his card and looks at his opponents seeing they are still smirking which made him narrow his eyes seeing that their must be a trap on those facedown cards, then he grabbed a card from his hand.

Y/N: Now since you have a monster special summoned from the extra deck, I can special summon cipher twin raptor from my hand. Said with a serious look.

His monster appeared and stood by the swordsman side.

Then the vortex appeared in front of him and the two energies went in it making an explosion of energy, next a card came out of his extra deck.

Y/N: I xyz summon starliege paladynamo. Said with a serious look.

Then a white armor warrior appeared on his field with its sword drawn.

Scorch: If you think about using it's special ability don't bother, if you do use it five hundred points a damage will dealt to you. Said with a smirk.

That got yuma and the rest worried about it.

But shark and astral smile a little knowing full well why (y/n) summon that monster.

They look to see him smiling.

Y/N: Did you honestly believe that I summon my paladynamo for a strategy. Said with a smirk.

Which they look at him with a confused look except for shark and astral understanding why he did that.

Then he grabbed one card.

Y/N: First I play the spell xyz treasure, this card allows me to draw a card for every xyz monsters on the field and since there are three I draw three new cards. Said with a smile.

He drew his three cards and smile.

Y/N: Next I play the spell De-xyz, to return one xyz monster from my field to my extra deck and the materials that are still attached to that target are special summoned to the field and you knuckleheads know who I chose. Said with a smirk.

That made those two widen their eyes realized what he planned.

His paladynamo glow to disappeared making the avalanche trap card destroyed and in its place are his twin raptor and wing.

Chills: You mean you summon out that monster to force me to use my trap card?. Said with a angered look.

Astral: Brilliant move (y/n), I was surprised at first why didn't you use the combination to summon your galaxy eyes but you did this purpose to let them think you have a plan but to fake them out. Said with a smile.

Then the card came out of his extra deck and grabbed it.

Then his ace monster made an appearance and roars.

Then the overlay unit went to the dragons chest and it's wings glow.

His dragons wings shine on the volcasaurus and disappeared to reappear at his side to transform as cipher dragon.

Scorch: Not so fast you brat, I activite the trap card negate attack to stop your attack and end the battle phase. Said with smirk.

His facedown card flip and see the trap card glowing making the swordsman stop his attack that it was so close to destroy it.

Chills: Too bad and so close. Said with a smirk.

He narrow his eyes and then grabbed one card.

Y/N: I place one card facedown and end my turn. Said with a serious look.

Then volcasaurus return to scorch side of the field and back to normal.

Chills: Now I switch icebergdon to attack mode. Said with a smirk.

His monster roars and ready to attack.

Then it went to attack shark.

Y/N: Not so fast, I activate a the monster card Cipher defender from my hand. Said with a serious look.

Then he reveal a monster with a big shield with color light blue wearing a black cloak.

Y/N: With this card effect when a monster declared an attack I can special summon this card in defense mode if I have one or more cipher xyz monster on my field. Said with a serious look.

Then his monster made an appearance in defense.

Chills: You may have summon that monster but my attack will continue 9n shark. Said with a smirk.

Y/N: I don't think so I activite my defenders ability, since I control a cipher monster it can stop your monster's attack. Said with a serious look.

Then his defender shield glow and summons a light in front of shark blocking the attack.

Shark is surprised to see that (y/n) is protecting him which he couldn't help but smirk a bit.

Shark 'thought': Just like old times. Said in his mind with a small smirk.

Chills: You may have stop my monsters attack but I have my blizzardon to attack as well. Said with a smirk.

His other monster went for the attack but.

Y/N: Sorry but I activate defender ability again to stop it. Said with a smile.

Which the light appeared once again and stop the ice dinosaur attacks, which made chills annoyed by that effect.

Chills: Your lucky because of that effect but this ends here. Said with a serious look.

Scorch: That's right and I activate the trap volcanic ash. Said with a smirk.

The trap card flips to glow releasing a volcanic ash.

Scorch: This trap card allows my partners blizzardon to defense mode. Said with a smirk.

Then the monster goes to a defense position.

That made astral a bit confused along with yuma and the rest but not shark and (y/n) who narrow their eyes.

Chills: Thanks for that, now I activite the frozen ice cave spell card, which allows one of my monster in defense mode to increase one level and I make freezerdon a level from four to five. Said with a smirk.

The spell glows in bis hand and the aura of ice appears around it.

Chills: Now I overlay my two level five monsters. Said with a smirk.

Then the two monsters turn to energy and fly up.

Then a blizzard appears in the field forming something and the number card made the appearance and roars.

It's chest opened and fires a ice blast beneath volcasaurus and then two red orb came out of it and went to volcasaurus who roars.

Chills: I place two cards facedown and end my turn. Said with a smirk.

Astral: Something is very wrong in this duel?. Said with a confused look.

Shark: They are cheating. Said with a serious look.

Shark: Oh don't worry, I activite the effect of needle sunfish from my graveyard when it is send there your monster loses five hundred attack points. Said with a smile.

Then the gravyard portal opened and needles of the monster shoot out and hit volcasaurus.

Shark: Now your monster is going down, now attack. Said with a serious look.

Lancer went to attack but.

Chills: I don't think so I activite the trap compensation exchange. Said with a smirk.

The attacl stops and the aura on volcasaurus fires at chills.

Scorch: That's right and I play the trap card volcanic abyss. Said with a smirk.

He flip his trap and glows.

Which (y/n) looks at his remaining three cards, he has cipher eagle, his spell card xyz ripple and another spell monster reborn.

Shark knows what (y/n) needed to do and grabbed one card.

Scorch: Now I activate volcasaurus special ability and destroy black ray lancer. Said with a smirk.

The overlay unit went to the mouth and glows.

Then it fires at black ray lancer destroying it and head for shark but.

Y/N: I don't think so I activite the trap soul of prime material. Said with a serious look.

The trap card flips and see a picture of a spirit form of prime material dragon shinning over a village with people in it.

Y/N: Thanks to this trap card, reginald's life points increase instead taking the damage. Said with a serious look.

Then the attack change colors to light green and goes to shark.

Which made scorch and chills mad at that.

Scorch: Why you little brat. Said with a angered look.

Shark: Now I activate the trap icy crevasse, when a monster i control is destroyed and send to the graveyard by a card effect this card destroys one of your monster's and you take damage equal to it's attack point and now say goodbye to volcasaurus. Said with a serious look.

His trap card flips and cracks form beneath the monster sinking in.

Chills: I don't think so, I activite the trap card force change to make the effect target my monster instead. Said with a serious look.

Then freezerdon falls to the ground and to the abyss to be destroyed and the blast hit chills.

Chills LP: 2000- 0

He falls to the ground and scorch began to worry for his bro.

Y/N: One down and one to go. Said with a smirk.

That made scorch furious and glares at (y/n).

Scorch: Your in for it now kid and by activating volcasaurus ability again to destroy your galaxy eyes. Said woth a serious look.

The last overlay unit went to the mouth and glows once more.

Then it fires the attack.

Scorch: Say goodbye your precious dragon. Said with a smirk.

Y/N: I don't think so, I play the trap cipher bit. Said with a serious look.

Y/N: This card target a cipher or galaxy eyes xyz monster i control and becomes its overlay unit and further more that target won't be destroyed by battle and card effects this turn, so my galaxy eyes is safe. Said with a serious look.

Then (y/n) opened his eyes to see he's in some kind of void and looks around.

Y/N: This place is the same when I got the pendant. Said with a surprise look.

He quickly turn and to his surprise seeing a giant shadow figure he didn't see before but he sees a number glowing on its left shoulder and recognized it.

Number 38: Yes indeed I'm the number in your possession, what I have witnessed you all this time your own beliefs in your deck is what I was looking for a duelist who can achieve the ultimate potential. Said.

Then (y/n) place his hand in his deck.

Y/N: Its my turn and I draw. Said with a smile.

He drew his card and saw the spell card he needed.

Y/N: I play the spell card card of sanctity, this card allows all players to draw until we have six cards in our hand. Said with a serious look.

They all drew until they have six.

Scorch: Thanks for the full hand brat. Said with a smirk.

Which (y/n) ignore it and grabbed a card.

Y/N: Now I activate the spell star changer with it I can increase or decrease a monster's level by one and i pick my cipher defender to increase its level by one. Said with a serious look.

Y/N: Next I activate the effect of twin swordsman, by using one overlay unit by targeting one cipher monster on my field it can either naming the same as him or its attack points equal to his own and I pick change defenders name. Said with a neutral look.

Then the overlay unit went to the sword.

Then it draws the sword and points at defender and see it transformed as twin swordsman but I  defense mode.

Y/N: So I can play the effect of cipher scout from my hand. Said with a serious look.

Then he shows the card picture of a teenager wearing like a scout of a soldier light blue uniform and has weapons in color black.

Y/N: Thanks to this card since I control two cipher monsters with the same name I can special summon this guy to an opponent side of the field in defense mode and I summon it to sharks field. Said with a serious look.

He threw the card to shark and summon it.

Shark is confused along with everyone else.

Y/N: Now I activate monster reborn to bring back cipher wing. Said with a serious look.

His wimg monster appeared from the graveyard portal.

Y/N: Now I use his ability to tribute it and all cipher monsters I control increase their level by four. Said with a smile.

Then the wing disappeared and the hologram of swordsman have a golden aura.

Scorch: What are you upto kid?. Said with a serious look.

Y/N: Your about to find out because I activate the spell card xyz ripple. Said with a serious look.

Then he shows a spell card of a picture of two xyz monsters cards being summon out of their extra deck.

Effect: Target two monsters on either side of the field and special summon two xyz monsters from your extra deck by the same rank of that target monsters level and those level monsters become xyz material to those monsters.)

Y/N: With this card by targeting two monsters on either side of the field I can special summon two xyz monsters by the same rank of that target monsters level, from my field I pick level eight cipher defender who is swordsman and cipher scout from sharks field. Said with a serious look.

Then one cards came out of the extra deck and threw it to shark.

He caught it and he's shocked to see the card.

Shark: This card. Said with a surprise look.

Then the symbol of forty seven appeared at the back of his left hand and he grip his head in pain.

Astral is surprised at this.

Astral: Why would he given him the number card. Said with a surprise look.

(Y/N) looks at shark.

Y/N 'whisper': I know you can do it reginald don't let it control you. Said with a serious look.

Shark screams in pain of the number trying to control him.

Number 47: Surrender yourself to me and we will be unstoppable. Said in bis mind.

Which made shark glare at the card.

Shark: No I won't be controlled by you not this time, you will obey me. Said with a serious look.

Then his will made the number card roar at him and sense being overwhelmed.

Shark: Now appear number forty seven nightmare shark. Siad with a serious look.

Then nightmare shark made an appearance once again and scout became an overlay unti to that monster.

That got everyone shocked to see that.

Astral: He has mastered the number card. Said with a surprise look.

Y/N: Now for 'my' number card. Said with a smirk.

Which made everyone shock to hear that except for astral.

Then a light appeared on his extra deck and he grabbed the glowing card.

Y/N: Twin hopes that sleeps in my memory, pierce the river of darkness separating those hopes and make them one. Said with a serious look.

Then a light appeared above the field and see some kind of galaxy above it.

The cipher defender turn to light and went to the to the being waiting for it.

Y/N: Appear number thirty eight. Said with a serious look.

The being made an appearance and comes down.

Y/N: HOPE HARBINGER DRAGON TITANIC GALAXY!!. Yelled with a serious look.

The dragon appeared behind him and roars.

This made everyone shock beyond belief to see his number card.

Yuma: I didn't know bro has another number card. Said with a surprise look.

Bronk and tori nod in agreement.

Astral is surprised to see the number awakened.

Scorch: Ok not good. Said with a nervous look.

Y/N: Now then I play the spell card xyz draw. Said with a serious look.

The spell reveal a picture of a xyz monster to the graveyard and a hand drawing two cards from the deck.

Effect: tribute one xyz monster you control and draw two cards from your deck.)

Y/N: I tribute one xyz monster on my field and draw two cards from my deck and I tribute my galaxy eyes. Said with a serious look.

Which his dragon nod of understanding of his masters purpose of it and disappeared to the graveyard and he draw two cards.

That made them confused at that except for shark.

Scorch: Why would you send your monster away. Said with a serious look.

Y/N: So that I can use the spell card armored xyz, with this card I target an xyz monster from my field to an xyz monster from my graveyard, then it becomes the same name of that monster and attack points equal to it and my galaxy eyes is there for my swordsman. Said with a smile.

Them cipher dragon appeared and some part of it became part of swordsman.

Atk: 2500-3000

Which made them worry a bit.

Y/N: Now harbinger attack his monster now, cosmic titan stream. Said with a serious look.

His number card gather energy from its mouth and shoot its attack.

Scorch: I don't think so from my hand i activate the effec of lava raptor. Said with a serious look.

Type: Dinosaur

Atk: 1500

Def: 1000

Effect: When a fire attribute dinosaur type monster is being attacked, you can discard this card from yiur hand to prevent that monster to be destroyed and the battle damage cut in half this turn.)

Scorch: By discarding this card volcasaurus won't be destroyed and the damage I take is cut in half this turn. Said with a serious look.

He discard the card and a spirit of a raptor cover in lava and fire blocks the attack but scorch brace himself.

Scorch LP: 2400-1900

Y/N: That maybe but my swordsman will give it a world of hurt, attack now. Said with a serious look.

The dragon armored swordsman attacks but blocked by the spirit of the raptor and scorch held his ground again.

Scorch LP: 1400-1400

Scorch: Now your done. Said with a serious look.

But (y/n) smirk.

Y/N: Nope I activate the other effect of armored xyz to send the equip xyz monster to the graveyard and my swordsman attacks again. Said with a smirk.

Which the dragon part galaxy eyes cipher dragon disappeared.

Y/N: Now go. Siad with a serious look.

His warrior attacks again but blocked by the raptor and scorch took the hit.

Scorch LP: 1400-1150

Then (y/n) grabbed a card.

Y/N: Next I play magical stone of excavation, I discard two cards to get back a spell card. Said with a smirk.

Then he discarded the cards to bring back armored xyz.

Y/N: Then I play the spell exchange to exchange a card from our hands and I pick reginald. Said with a smile.

Shark understand what he meant and trade the card to him and grabbed the armored xyz.

Y/N: Next I place one card facedown and end my turn. Said with a smirk.

Scorch: It's finally my turn and I draw. Said with a smirk.

He drew his card.

Scorch: My standby phase now take five hundred points of damage shark. Said with a smirk.

The spell glows but.

Y/N: At this moment my number cards special ability activates. Said with a smile.

That got everyone shocked to hear it's effect so suddenly.

Y/N: During either players turn, when a spell or effect of one activates this card negates it and further more becomes it's overlay unit. Said with a smile.

Which they are shocked and see the dragon roar at the spell and turn to overlay unit to the mumber card.

Number 38: Hope harbinger dragon titanic galaxy

OLU: 1-2

Which made scorch furious.

Scorch: You may have stop my spell but my monster has it's attack and I equip it with axe of despair gaining one thousand attack points. Said with a serious look.

Number 61: Volcasaurus

Atk: 2000-3000

Scorch: Now volcasaurus attack nightmare shark. Said with a serious look.

His monster went for the attack but.

Y/N: I don't think so I activate the other effect of my number. Said with a serious look.

Which brought their attention again.

Y/N: By using one overlay unit it becomes the target of your attack. Said with a serious look.

The overlay unit went to its chest and glows.

Number 38: Hope harbinger dragon titanic galaxy

OLU: 2-1

Then volcasaurus went towards the dragon to see both of them to be destroyed.

Scorch: I won't lose my monster to you brat, I play the quick play spell ego boost to increase my monster by one thousand more attack points. Said with a serious look.

His monster aura increase.

Number 61: Volcasaurus

Atk: 3000-4000

Scorch: Now your monster is finished. Said with a smirk.

Y/N: Not quite i play the trap card scrap iron scarecrow to negate your attack then after that return facedown. Said with a serious look.

His trap flips and blocks the attack and went back facedown.

Scorch: Lucky brat, I end my turn. Said with a annoyed look.

Number 61: Volcasaurus

Atk: 4000-3000

Shark: My turn and I draw. Said with a serious look.

He drew his card.

Y/N: At this moment I activate the quick play spell grave exchange. Said with a serious look.

Then the spell flip to reveal a picture of two grave workers exchanging two coffins for a different grave position.

Effect: You can swap one monster from your graveyard to another player's monster in the graveyard.)

Y/N: With this card I swap my galaxy eyes cipher dragon to shark graveyard for big jaws. Said with a serious look.

Big jaws and galaxy eyes came out of the graveyard to switch sides.

This made shark smile knowing why he did that.

Shark: Now I activate armor xyz. Said with a serious look.

Which both scorch and chills widen their eyes to see what was that move.

Shark: You know how it does so galaxy eyes cipher dragon unite with nightmare shark. Said with a serious look.

Then part of cipher dragon became part of nightmare shark.

Number 47: Nightmare shark (Galaxy eyes cipher dragon)

Atk: 2000-3000

Shark: Now i activate nightmare shark effect, using a overlay unit to make a water monster to attack you directly and guess what attribute is nightmare shark. Said with a smirk.

Which made both thugs widen their eyes.

Shark: Now end this nightmare shark. Said with a serious look.

The monster went through volcasaurus and hit scorch head on sending him flying along with chills.

Scorch LP: 1150- 0

Winner: (Y/N) and shark

Everything returned to normal and yuma along with rest cheered.

(Y/N) looks at the two downed thugs and raised his arm towards them while his necklace glow, their number cards appeared and went to his side.

Y/N: Well that's that. Said with a smile.

Then he threw the two cards at yuma which disappeared and reappear to astral knowing something made him surprised to see he saw something of his memories which he will ask later.

Then he sees both of them get up.

Scorch: Yo man what happened?. Said with a confused look.

Chills: Don't know couldn't remember. Said with a confused look.

Then they noticed shark looking at them which made them run away like cowards.

Y/N: Total one eighty there. Said with a smile.

Then he saw tori and the rest walking towards him congratulate on his win with shark.

Shark walks towards him and given him the number card and his galaxy eyes.

But he only took the galaxy eyes which surprised him.

Y/N: Keep it reginald, I have a feeling that you need it more than I do. Said with a smile.

Which he smile as well and place the card in his deck.

Both of them stare at each other and then fist bump.

Y/N: See you around. Said with a smile.

He nod.

Shark: You bet. Said with a smile.

Then he walks away and astral went by (y/n)'s side.

Astral: Why did you let him keep the number?. Said with a confused look.

Y/N: Astral I know your worried about that but we need all the help we can get and giving reginald a that number will be suited well for him. Said with a smile.

That made astral nod of understanding seeing his reason.

Astral: Very well then. Said with a smile.

Then (y/n) looks at bronk.

Y/N: Listen bronk I'm really sorry for my sudden out burst. Said with a neutral look.

He hesitate at first but he saw tori smiling at him and nod which he smile as well.

Bronk: Forget about it even though I deserve it. Said with a smile.

He smile as well which lead a fist bump.

Then they all headed home and tori walked by (y/n) side which she unconsciously hold his hand making him blush a little but he held her hand for them to intertwined together.

Both of them blush to feel holding each other's hand.
