Happy Birthday, Vinny!
Chapter Twenty-nine: Happy Birthday, Vinny!
Deena's Revenge episode ended with the roommates in a panic. Deena, her husband Chris, and production were in on the prank. But the rest of the roommates thought they'd witnessed a murder.
The episode opened with Deena continuing to show off her acting skills during a murder mystery prank.
Deena allowed things to escalate for the first few minutes of the episode before revealing her plan to the group.
An actor portraying a police officer started questioning the group about the body they saw floating in a pool, but Deena stood up and revealed that it was all a prank.
Mike's wife Lauren grumbled about the dark prank, but Deena pointed out that she's been the victom of plenty of pranks over the years.
Previously, Lauren and Deena exchanged words about going back to their rooms to be with their respective babies. That tension carried over to the murder mystery dinner.
"I'm a terrible person," Deena says in the episode. "Someone should put me over a fire."
"You would be really upset [if we did this to you]," Lauren tells Deena.
It was clear from the reactions of other cast members that Deena isn't the only one to feel some resentment toward Lauren.
Deena disagrees but eventually the whole group moves on from the tension when Mike solves the murder. "It takes a con to know a con," he quips.
Deena declared herself as prank war champion, and even Pauly agreed that she pulled off a great one.
Mike's jail time and probation are a running joke among the group but now Mike is officially off probation. Naturally, he wants to mark the occasion with a party.
"I just think he wants cake," Vinny tells cameras.
Instead of celebrating Vinny's birthday, which he says is next week in the episode, Mike moves forward with plans for his freedom celebration.
This inspires Vinny to make a list of Jersey Shore castmembers who are more likely to get a party before he does, including Sammi and Danny from the Shore Store.
He also feels Mike's friend "The Unit" and Kirk from Floribama Shore are more likely to get a party thrown for them before he does.
Angelina lamented the loss of her title as 'the Kim Kardashian of Staten Island'.
The Staten Island native while hanging out with her friends noted that she was getting messages about Kim dating Staten Island native Pete.
'All my f***ing friends from Staten Island are sending me this right now. ''Kim Kardashian is intrigued by Pete Davidson'',' Angelina told her friends while reading her phone.
'Angelina, looks like you're not the Kim Kardashian of Staten Island anymore,' teased Vinny.
'I know,' Angelina sighed.
Pauly then quipped about their resemblances.
'Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson look like Angelina and Vinny of Staten Island,' Pauly joked.
An older clip showed Angelina and Vinny with images of Kim and Pete superimposed over their faces as they were seen arguing.
'I actually think he's a cool kid,' said Vinny, who also is a Staten Island native.
Jenni recalled that Vinny wasn't a fan of Pete's 2020 film The King Of Staten Island directed by Judd Apatow.
'I should have had a cameo,' Vinny said.
Vinny noted that Saturday Night Live holds annual auditions and then showed off his impersonation skills as he imitated Lauren, Deena and Angelina.
Nicole and her daughter Sissy finally arrive at the Isla Bella Resort. Nicole's first order of business is figuring out where her shipment of wine is.
While waiting for someone to deliver her wine, Nicole takes a Tiki booze cruise with her roommates and learns more about Angelina and Chris breaking their dry spell.
"I wanna know the full sex story," Nicole says.
"Finally, after two years, he f***ing initiated," Angelina replies. "I think we should give him a medal," she adds.
The episode ended with Vinny cheering on an approaching thunderstorm that threatened to ruin the event for Mike.
