Chapter Twenty-eight : Deena's Revenge

Deena decided during the group trip to the Florida Keys to organize a murder mystery event for the roommates, and her husband Christopher Buckner went along with it.

"We want them to be scared. So it's kind of gonna be like a prank, but also like a really fun event," Deena told murder mystery organizer Todd over the phone.

Christopher noted that they were staying by the water and were near a pool and wondered if there was a way to work that into the prank.

"Maybe on the way to your dinner, you find a dead body in the pool," Todd suggested.

"Oh, wow. That is an ambush," said Deena.

She also boasted in a confessional that it might be one of my favorite events I ever planned.

The Larangeira's luggage was shipped separately from their private jet because there wasn't enough room.

Angelina and Chris borrowed clothes from the Sorrentinos for the first night. But waking up the next day without their luggage was an issue.

"I'm not wearing the same clothes all day!" Angelina says while attempting to leave the resort.

She wanted to stop at a nearby Walgreens for disposable underwear and leggings.

"Because of COVID, you need to go back to the room — I'm not playing," a producer tells Angelina over the phone.

"I kinda feel bad for Angelina because the reason she couldn't get her luggage on the plane is because Mike brought seven suitcases," Vinny tells cameras.

Eventually, the Larangeiras' luggage arrives, but not before Angelina borrows a bathing suit from Deena.

Now, Mike is focused on Angelina and Chris'  sex life. Previously, Angelina shares she and Chris have had sex, but Mike finds inconsistencies in her story.

"Yesterday she said, 'Yeah I just kind of rolled over,' and that particular position is the lazy side booty, as we know," Mike explained to Pauly, Nikk, Cinta, and Vinny. "So today when I asked again ...I immediately guessed the position, and she said, 'No.'"

At his wife's suggestion, Mike agrees to leave the investigating alone for now.

The next scenes includes Pauly's excitement over bingo; Mike's BDSM outfit; and Vinny and Chris Buckner beating Mike and Zack in bocce ball.

The prank got rolling as the roommates relaxed on the beach and a couple who were actually actors started arguing loudly near them.

Jenni became intrigued as the women asked for time alone as their argument escalated.

"I can't help but notice a couple behind me that's getting into, like, a little tiff," Jenni said in a confessional.

Deena tried her hardest not to laugh as Jenni got caught up in the their drama.

"Out of everyone, I told myself, I need Jenni to be the one that really hears this couple because she loves drama, and lo and behold," Deena said in a confessional.

Deena checked in with Tood who revealed they had another scene set up in which they all would see the woman with another man.

"After that, as you guys go to dinner, we're gonna have you seeing the dead body. That's when you're gonna do your scream,"!Todd said.

"Oh, my God. I am so excited. I'm gonna start practicing my scream in a pillow just so I get it right," Deena told him.

Deena conferred with producer Liz and audio guy Dave to make sure the prank was perfect with camera, sounds and security involved.

The group gathered to meet for dinner and the mystery murder actors appeared before them appearing drunk as the woman was with a different man.

Later, Jenni notices the same woman with another man — all part of the narrative created by the murder mystery company Deena hired.

"That's the wife that was getting cursed out behind us," Jenni said.

Her fiance Zack agreed with her as the others looked on.

"Oh, my God. The b**** is cheating. Now I don't feel bad that the husband was yelling at you," Jenni said in a confessional.

The whole group got caught up in the drama as Deena in a confessional said the prank was going 'perfectly'.

"This is gonna turn into f***ing 'Dateline' in like, three days. I'm totally here for it," Jenni told her friends.

They then walked past the pool and Deena after spotting a body in the water started freaking out.

At the end of the night, the roommates passes a pool where the mystery man appears to be dead.

A producer named Katie came out and security member Kyle jumped into the pool fully clothed toward the floating body

"No. No," cried Lauren.

"Oh, my god. Stop, stop, no!," JWoww said.

"Oh my God!" Cinta said.

The roommates were alarmed and got emotional as CPR was given to the man and sirens could be heard in the background.

"I feel like everybody's gonna be mad at me. I'm not trying to make them cry," Deena said in a confessional.

"What do you want them to do? Laugh about seeing a dead body?," Chris asked while sitting next to her.

"Somebody straight up got murdered," Pauly said while taking in the scene. "Somebody just got murdered, bro." he added.

"He's dead," said Chris Larangeira.

The episode then ended with sirens heard in the background.
