Season 4, Episode 18 : Welcome to the Poconos

"Hello?" I said as I answered the phone.

"Hey, girly," Deena said.

"What are you doing?" I asked her.

"I just called the others, and I wanted to let you know," Deena said, pausing.

"Know what? What did you call the others about?" I asked.

"So, I wanted to call you and let you know I booked our trip to the Poconos," She replied.

"Really?" I asked.

"Like everyone is coming, so you better be there," Deena said.

"Okay, I'll be there," I said.

We ended our phone call, and I walked into the kitchen to cook dinner.

Tommie walked into the kitchen and hopped on the counter, and took a seat.

"Who were you talking to?" Tommie asked me.

"Deena, umm, she planned a trip to the Poconos, so she called to let me know that I was invited," I explained to Tommie.

"Is everyone going?" Tommie asked me.

"Yes," I replied.

"Okay, but I heard from Ryan that you two are going on a date," Tommie said as I handed her a drink.

I smiled.

"He messaged me and asked me out on a date, and I said yes," I said.

"So, where are y'all going?" Tommie asked me.

I shrugged.

"I don't know yet; I'm flying out to Chicago," I answered.

"Are you staying with him?" Tommie asked.

I chuckled.

"If I stay with him, I may end up pregnant, and we are not ready for a pregnant Cinta," I replied.

"I don't know you guys would have a cute baby," Tommie said.

I rolled my eyes.

"Please do not speak that into existence," I said.

Tommie laughed.

Ryan has reached out to me a couple of times to go on a date. It was never the right time. But now I'm ready to put myself out there and settle down, and if Ryan is mister right, then I should give him a chance.

Ryan paid for my plane ticket to come out to Chicago for a couple of days before I had to go to the Poconos to film for the jersey shore: family vacation.

That was the first step in seeing how serious he was about dating me.

He picked me up from the airport and rented a penthouse for us to stay in since I wasn't comfortable staying at his place, and he did not want me at a hotel by myself.

That same night we went out for our first of many dates that would take place on the few days that I was in Chicago.

I honestly enjoyed my time with Ryan, but I don't know if I could see a relationship between us as I felt the long distance would affect us.

On the last day, Ryan and I had a talk, and one thing led to another, and we had sex. And it wasn't just one round either. I was honestly amazed by the passion that I experienced with him.

But I wasn't getting my hopes about a relationship even if the sex was good.

Ryan dropped me off at the airport but not before promising to flight out and spend time with me in New Jersey.

I agreed with his plan, but I would wait and see if he would keep his promise.

After returning home, I packed my bags and headed straight to the Poconos.

"Hi," I said as I hugged Lauren then Mike.

I took a seat on the couch and fixed my hair.

"I'm so happy you're able to spend this vacation with us," Lauren said.

"I'm excited to spend time with you all," I said.

"Also, Umm...Angelina may not be coming; we're going to talk to her because someone has a video of her," Mike said.

"Really?" I asked as I mentally rolled my eyes.

I didn't want to come on this trip to make it all about Angelina again, so the fact that they are talking about a video of Angelina sounds like to me there's going to be drama. I'm not here for it, especially if it involves Angelina.

"Before you continue, I want to say that I don't want to know I'm mean. If Angelina doesn't know, I don't want to be involved. That's her life, so that's her problem. Not mine," I said.

"But she's our friend," Mike said.

"So, why doesn't our friend know about the tape that you have seen?" I asked Mike.

Mike may have good intentions, but this situation can get messy if he doesn't go directly to Angelina and let her know what's happening.

"I don't know how to bring it up to her," Mike said.

"I just think the group should not know about the video before Angelina," I said, ready to end the conversation.

"You're right," Mike said.

"Now, I need to go find my room; I need to take a nap," I said.
