Jenni, Zack, Mike, Lauren, Ronnie, Nicole, and I are having lunch together at Jenni's house when Ronnie tells everyone that he's proposing to his girlfriend, Saffire.

"No, I figured listen, I've been a part of so many important things in your lives, and you've been a part of so many important things in my life. Good, bad, lot of bad. Let's face it. So I flew all the way here to get the blessing from her parents because I want to propose to Saffire," Ronnie explained to us.

"So called it," Nicole said.

"Oh my God," Jenni said.

"Pregnant?" Nicole asked Ronnie.

"No. No. No. No. She's not pregnant," Ronnie answered.

"Alright, so I was half right," Nicole said.

"You were half right," I said.

"I love her, and she's the person that I want to be with," Ronnie said.

I mentally rolled my eyes at Ronnie because those were the exact words he used with Jen and looked how that ended up. I think Ronnie is rushing this relationship because he feels pressured to appear mature as half of our friends are married and seem to have an everyday adult life.

"So my plan is that we're going to Cancun for a wedding. And then we're gonna go to Tulum," Ronnie said when Nicole interrupted him.

"I'll go to fucking Tulum," Nicole said.

"Same day?" I asked.

"I can't come either," Lauren said.

"Oh, Facetime me, honey," Mike said to Lauren.

Everyone laughs at Mike's comment.

"You're not going," Lauren said.

"Are you kidding? Are you crazy?" Lauren asked Mike.

"So many awesome things happening in this family," Mike said.

"Two weddings and two babies," Nicole said.

"Oh, my God," Mike said.

"And a divorce," Nicole added.

Everyone laughs.

"Two babies and two weddings," Mike said as everyone got up from the table.

"And a divorce!" Nicole exclaimed.

"And then a divorce," Mike said.

"Congratulations," Jenni says to Ronnie.

"I love you guys. Thank you," Ronnie says.

"I love you. Get home safe," Jenni says.

"All right," Ronnie says.

5 DAYS LATER

"Holy shit! I know you fucking lying," I said as I read the article about Ronnie being arrested after an incident with Saffire.

I knew it was too good to be true. Ronnie has a problem, and he needs to be single and focus on his daughter because he is the problem in his relationship.

"This is not good; there is no way they're going to get engaged," I said.

Jenni facetime me, and I rolled my eyes as she sighed.

"He is never going to change," I said.

"This is pretty serious," Jenni said.

"I know, right; he needs real help," I said.

"He is making horrible choices," Jenni said.

"All we can do is hope for the best for him," I said.

"Definitely," Jenni said.

We end the face time call, and I finish cleaning up my kitchen before I feel the urge to throw up and jog to a nearby bathroom to throw up.

I began rubbing circles on my stomach to stop nausea.

My stomach started bothering me right before lunch, but I assumed it was from the light breakfast I had this morning.

Now, after having lunch, I was starting to think I might be sick.

"Are you okay?" My producer asked me.

I shook my head no immediately as I started throwing up again.

"Do you know why you're throwing up?" My producer asked me.

"No," I answered in discomfort, continuing to rub circles along my stomach.

I gave her a weak smile as the knots in my stomach tightened.

"Do you want to go to the hospital? How long have you been feeling like this?" My producer asked me.

"No, can you help me to my bedroom?" I replied.

She walked into the bathroom and helped me up from the ground, and carried the majority of my weight to help me walk.

"I'll make you some tea and get you a trash can to throw up in once I get you in bed," She said.

"Thank you," I said.
