𓇢𓆸 considering cera comes from the poorer side of district ten, and her job requires her to spend much of her time outside, she tends to wear loose fitting clothes, mostly made of linen or wool (depending on the season). much of her clothing is made from the animal parts unused by the capitol (leftover wool and deerskin) or whatever is shipped from district eight- even after her move to the victor's village. she wears thick boots when she's out in the field, and is often depicted in her mother's shawl. when at the capitol, she wears far more extravagant clothing- dresses and jewelry that make her far more desirable to capitolites.

𓇢𓆸 cera originally was a very soft-spoken, neutral individual, with a mind to always keep to herself. she never had a harsh word for anybody, and could seek out the deepest empathy for even the meanest of people. to say the games changed her is both an understatement and an overstatement. cera grew fearful and distrustful after she exited the games, lashing out at people she used to trust. he anger grew exponentially as well- at the capitol for forcing her into sex work, for killing her father, and making her do all of it again- however, that does not mean her kindness has faded in its place. she still looks for the best in people, and is hopeful on an internal side, however always seems to toe the waters with others before putting her full faith in them. it is also easy to say she is more ruthless than she was before- mercy isn't something anyone is born with in panem, so there's no reason to hold onto it.

𓇢𓆸 cera was born in the outskirts of district ten. her mother raised and bred livestock, including horses, cows, and sheep. her father was a butcher, and a rather skilled one at that. he taught cera everything there was to know about animals and the butchering process. cera was raised with an extensive knowledge of both animal and human anatomy, which later came into use when she was reaped for the 67th hunger games. at the ripe age of twelve, she began taking tesserae, as her parents farm was failing, with livestock dying and a drought destroying the land. over the course of the next four years, cera's name was placed in the reaping dozens of times, and it was a wonder she lasted until sixteen before her name was reaped in the 67th hunger games.
within the arena, tributes dealt with with drastic inclement weather and mutated animal attacks. cera was able to survive by killed a wolf mutt- using its meat for food, and it's fur to keep herself warm. many tributes died of hunger, after becoming lost in torrential downpour, or attacked by bear mutts. with a full stomach and warmed clothing, cera was able to hunt down and kill four remaining tributes, including two careers. she and her district partner were the last two remaining. cera was attacked by angus, who critically wounding her with a slash from neck to navel. cera nearly succumbed to blood loss, using the last of her energy to push him down in a ravine, where he died on impact. she collapsed, not waking until a week later, unknowing that she was the victor of the 67th hunger games.
afterwards, cera returned home to district ten, distrusted by those she once knew. she moved to the victor's village with her father, and hoped to live out a peaceful life, stricken with the anxieties of her games. however, not even a year after her victory, was she forced into sex work by the capitol. when she tried to refuse, peacekeepers executed her father by firing squad.

𓇢𓆸 finnick and cera met at a capitol party. it was a sort of gentle pass-by, as they traded amongst capitolites. cera was wary of finnick at first, considering she hadn't had any contact with any person from another district since her games. finnick was charming, and strangely sweet, which easily captured her attention.
𓇢𓆸 as fate would have it, there were many more parties to come that finnick and cera would meet again. each time they saw each other, cera felt pieces of herself chipping away, wiped clean from the months and months of forced prostitution. they grew more comfortable with each other, risking moments to sneak off with each to talk.
