𓇢𓆸 letty was born in north carolina, to two very decorated naval aviators. considering her parents worked so often, she spent a great deal of time jumping from base to base, or living with her grandparents while her parents were stationed. she didn't see much of them when she was a child, but always admired her parents jobs. she used to imagine flying her own plane, and going on dangerous missions. letty always craved her parents' attention when they were home, and did just about anything to appease them– even centering her studies and career around becoming a naval aviator. she spent nearly half her life trying to get into flight school and become part of the navy, hoping to be half as good as her mother and father. she was one of the youngest to take the aviation selection test battery, as well as the aic. she met bradley bradshaw in flight school, a took an immediate liking to his outgoing personality. she and bradley did not start dating until a few years into flight school, breaking up after bradley's papers were pulled. the breakup destroyed letty, and she nearly dropped out in fear of her parents discovering her weakness. she managed to keep her head low, and try and forget about bradley while maintaining her focus on her duties. she and bradley hooked up a few times between their "year off, but did not really get back together until a year and half later.
