Garroth's p.o.v.

Today is the ball, the day I meet my bride. I walked around the castle looking at all of the decorations the staff put up and it was beautiful. The colors that they choose was extraordinary, complementing the white walls and pillars of the castle. A royal blue ribbon hung connecting each other on each pillar leading the way to the ballroom. As I walked into the grand room where the main party was I was speechless, although it was simple it was beautiful. the same royal blue ribbons hung from each pillar till the end. The clear window wall let in the sunshine, and lit up the room lighting it up. I tried to picture it at night when the sun would go down and the chandeliers would glow with a beautiful candle light; but I couldn't. My mind couldn't comprehend the beauty of it till the ball.

"Good after-noon, prince Garroth," said Zoey,one of the servants working on the ballroom. "Is the room to your liking?"

"Yes, it is," I answered. "thank you and all of the others for making this place look beautiful."

"It is no problem, prince Garroth," she said and started to walk away. "I would love to continue to talk, but I must be getting back to my work."

"Alright then, carry on" I said and walked back to my room to look for an outfit for tonight.

Aphmau's p.o.v

"you shall not go to the ball," My stepmothers voice rang in my ear. I sat on the ground crying in the torn dress I made. I never understood why they treated my so poorly.

"w-why?" I asked myself. "W-why me?"

"There, There my child," A voice said as it stoked my hair in calming way. "no need to cry, I'm here"

I look up to see a beautiful woman, her eyes were soft and caring, "who, who are you?"

"Why I'm Lady Irene," she said excitedly getting up and looking through her robes. "and you're going to the ball, now where did I put it?"

"L-Lady I-Irene?"

"yes dear, now-aha! here It is. I'm going to need a pumpkin."

"a-a pumpkin?"

"yes, dear. this one its perfect. now stand back dear," she said and i did as she told. sh waved her wand in the air chanting the magical spell, "bipity-bopity-boo!"

where the pumpkin was, a beautiful silver-white pumpkin carriage stood in its place, with purple lilies running sown the sides from the top. "now we are going to need a horse."

"I-I have a horse, let me go and get her," I said and went to go and get Lucinda. when I got back, there was a footman and a driver. "um what did you do?"

"oh i just used the dog an the cat to make the footman and the driver"

"Emmalyn? Brandon?"

"now get in the carriage you're gonna be late for the ball"

"b-but my dress, I cant go to the ball like this"

"yes its lovely- good heavens! you cant go to the ball like this! now let me see you eyes, how tall are you. Aha! i have the perfect dress for you." she said and backed away and said those magical words. "Bipity-Bopity-Boo!"

The magic circled me and went all over my body, making a beautiful light purple dress appear out of nowhere. the bodice was the same light purple as the rest but instead of fabric, it was rhinestones with a sweetheart neckline. A simple diamond bet ran around my waist separating the skirt from the bodice. The skirt was a simple light purple tool skirt the flowed to the ground. The shoes were a white diamond with purple flowers on the heel and front. my hair was brushed and left down with purple flower clips all over my hair to look like they were in my hair

"Oh! Oh my, this dress is beautiful!" I said happily spinning around, my dress opening at the bottom. I walked to Emmalyn and Brandon pointing at my shoe. "Look! white diamond!"

"yes dear, lovely" lady Irene said as I went to the fountain to look at my reflection. "but remember at the strike of midnight you must leave, for the spell will be broken."

"oh of course, and thank you!"

"not a problem dear, my look at the time you must be going!" she said and opened the door to let me in.

"good bye" I said as the carriage left and she vanished in a sparkle of magic.

~*~Time to the ball~*~

The carriage pulled up to the front steps of the castle, I got off the carriage and looked at Emmalyn and Brandon. The gave me a smile, and with that I walked up the stairs. When I got to the top, guards in their armor lined the halls. Looking at me with cold eyes. I continued going down the halls till I reached the ballroom. Everyone was talking and having a good time, when I stepped to the stairs they all looked at me. All in awe. I walked down the stairs, and was greeted by Garroth. He seemed to not notice me as the girl he meet in the forest a few days ago.

"May I have this dance?" He said bowing with his hand out to me.

"You may," I said after curtsying and taking his hand walking to the dance floor. the music started, I curtsying and he bowing I took his hand and my dress. he took my hand and my waist and we began to dance to the piano. Soon people danced around us, and as the song started to go on we started to sing.

    when we finished dancing we bowed to each other and everyone clapped. He led me to his garden, and there he showed me a secret ares for just himself. Inside was a willow tree with a swing hanging down from a branch. flowers and small ponds were on the ground in random spots. fire flies lit up the space like fairies. Garroth walked to a corner of the area and lit up a lamp. He walked to me and sat me down at the swing and he pushed, sending me flying through the air.

         "So whats your name?" Garroth asked

        "and why should I tell you?" I answered.

        "Fair enough, but at least tell me more about yourself,"

      "well, lets see, I love singing, dancing, and going to a special area my mother would take me when things would get rough."

        "sounds like what my mother would do"

       "my mother died"

        "so did mine"

       "looks like we have some stuff in common"

      "yeah I guess we do-"

    Diiing.

     midnight, I thought. 

      "I have to go"  I said getting up and started running out of the garden.

     "w-wait!" garroth said. "I didn't get your name!"

        I ran through the ball room and down the halls, all while garroth yelled to stop. people stepped aside, some of the men from the ball also tried to get me, but I was to fast. The guards heard garroth yell and chase after me, but when the doors to the palace started to close a few of them managed to keep up with me as the door closed. 

Diiing. 

     But they went toppling down the stairs. I ran down the stairs when I almost tripped because my shoe fell off, but when  I went to pick it back up the doors opened to the guards rushing out to catch me. startled I forgot about my shoe and kept running.

    Diiing.

      I hopped in to the carriage and told emmalyn to go. She whipped the reigns signaling Lucinda to go, and out of the castle courtyards we went.  I turned to look out the window to see if there was guards after us. there was.

    Diiing.

      At the very back on his horse, was garroth with my shoe in his hand. 

      "hurry!" I yelled

    Diiing.

       we're not going to make it, I thought

         Diiiing.

     "go through the forest!"

      Diiing.

    We went through the forest, hoping to lose them. weaving in and out of the trees.

    Diiing. 

"faster men!" garroth shouted, determined to not lose me.

     Diing.

   It was almost midnight, and the magic was wearing off. my dress was no longer long and beautiful, but  starting to fade from the bottom.

     Diiing.

    The carriage was vanishing, only two more.

      Diiing.

     The dress was gone, and the pumpkin  was almost gone and emmalyn and Brandon were back to normal. 

  Diiiiiiing.

     Midnight, the spell is broken. my dress was gone in a  swirl of magic sparkles. the carriage was now a trampled, broken pumpkin out in the open. emmalyn and Brandon were back to normal, as my dog and cat. Not shortly after the magic dispelled, Garroth and his guards came. 

   "fair maiden," garroth asked. "have you seen a white pumpkin carriage go past here recently?"

     "yes your Majesty," I said bowing. "it went that way" I pointed towards a random spot in the forest.

      "thank you maiden," he said and lead his guards the way I pointed. 

    after he left I walked home, "*sigh* that was amazing, I wish I had something to remember it forever."

      "mew," emmalyn purred. I looked down because she was scratching me.

      "what is it? *gasp*" I said and get the shoe off my foot. "thank you"

     "c'mon, lets go home"

A/n OK so I finally wrote chapter 7, (12/20/16) I've been meaning to write it sooner but I kept forgetting. hope you like it
