Garroth p.o.v.

     I was riding my horse through the woods so I could clear my head because my father, king garte, is making me choose a girl i don't know and marry her. It's just so frustrating when you're the first born son and soon to be king. Especially if your mother died and you have a power hungry father and a corrupted brother and a brother that went missing at a young age, so everything is all on you.

    When going through the woods I decided to stop at the grove my mother would take me on the days that she had off of being the queen. It was a long ways from my kingdom,O'khasis, but it was worth it.  I reached the site, and it always was beautiful. that is till I saw her.

     She was breath-taking, her ebony black hair on the ground twisting and turning in the flowers by the river shore. she was beautiful, even though she wore a peasant dress, I could look past that. I imaged her in a light purple dress with a small tiara on her black hair. I got off my horse and tied it next to what I believed was her horse. I walked up to her and she started to wake up. Her rich caramel eyes were dull and looked sad. 

     "Oh!" she seamed surprised to see me. "I'm sorry for not noticing you earlier Prince Garroth, as you could see I was asleep."

   "No problem," I responded. "what is your name?" 

     "my-my name?" She said sadly.

     "yes, I would like to know please." I answered.

   "my step sisters call me," she hesitated."cindermau."

      "cindermau?" I said back quite shocked. "why would they call you, a very beautiful lady, that?"

    "since I clean the chimney every day, I get covered in cinder, and that's why they call me that."

     "well that's not very nice," I responded. "what is your real name?" 

       "I choose not to use it because it brings bad memories."

      "well that's ok, do you have a name that I could call you when we see each other?"

      "Aph.....Call me Aph"

      "ok, aph tell me more about your self."

      "well, if you're going to know me I should start at the beginning, when i was youn-"

      Before she could say any thing else the clock struck twelve and I looked back towards the way the noise was coming from. When I looked back Aph was gone. A note was left where she was, it said:

    prince garroth,

    meet me here two days from now at midnight. i'll be a little late if you get there before me. I hope to see you soon. I hope one day I get to tell you my name with out bursting to tears.

  I read the note about a hundred times in my head and I was excited. I get to see that girl again. even though I just meet her, I think we might just have a Connection.
