Earlier at the ball before the both of you met in pure fate.
Shoto kept bowing to the invited women.
His bow was formal and with gratitude. However, the Prince's look stayed the same. Uninterested and unfazed.
Women had failed to impress him much to the King's displeasure.
Because unbeknownst to the King, Shoto was waiting for you with much anticipation. (A/N: Wag umaasa boi)
He was usually patient at times. But you were late for the ball and had made him concerned.
He badly wanted to see you again.
And yet you have not arrived at his Grand Ball.
The ball's venue was at the palace's throne room and was decorated with bright lights and beautiful bloomed flowers.
Various foods and drinks were on the table while musicians were placed on a certain area.
People shared conversations merrily and joyfully talking about how victorious and courageous Prince Shoto is.
Some debated which woman would catch his interest. Which to no avail, was impossible... unless if you were there that is.
Up above from a balcony was the King and his companions: Aizawa and Yamada.
The poor king hopelessly looked at his son and to the women invited in the party.
Despite Yamada's cheerful, bright and loud attitude, he has failed to lift up Toshinori's spirits. Of course, Aizawa was unfazed because he didn't care... again.
What was a party if the star, Prince Shoto, isn't happy?
Sighing the King slumped back at his throne in the gloomiest way possible.
Back to Shoto, his foot tapped worryingly and impatiently.
His patience was decreasing bit by bit.
That was until he couldn't take it any longer as he thought that he would take you to the ball himself.
He quickly walked away from his usual place which, with no surprise, had caught everyone's attention.
"The Prince!"
"Where is he going?"
"Prince Shoto!" Midoriya yelled out.
The noises of commotion had made Toshinori look down curiously to see that his son had just left the ball.
"Looks like the Prince doesn't want a harem..." Aizawa said blandly.
"Oh don't say that Aizawa!"
"Or maybe he doesn't like the party either."
"Aizawa don't say that in front of the King! What if a woman had actually caught his interest but isn't here yet?"
"Impossible."
Toshinori felt his horrible grief increase once again out of worry. But he knew he shouldn't since he trusts Shoto. He was simply... curious..
Shoto had left the Kingdom riding his horse which caught the soldier's attention.
But since the King have not given any orders, they did nothing. Especially since Shoto is considered royalty as well after all.
Midoriya exactly know what was going on. You have not appeared and that may have caused the party's ruckus.
And so the green-haired boy went up to the King's balcony.
"My King, I may know the location Prince Shoto desires to go." He says then continues, "If you'd agree, I could fetch him for you."
"Where do you think he may have gone?" The King asks. He have also noticed the few 'leaving the palace' episodes Shoto did.
"Th-that I may not tell you... Don't get me wrong Your Highness! I do wish to tell you, but I feel like it is not my place to do so." He stammered explaining.
"Then do go after him. I will deal with the visitors as of now. Don't wait us too long Young Midoriya, don't come back until you have him." The King permitted.
"Yes Your Majesty." Midoriya nodded then quickly left the Kingdom along with his horse.

"Prince Shoto!" Midoriya's voice yelled out. That was when Shoto groaned in frustration.
"Princess, follow me." He quickly galloped away gesturing you to follow which you did.
As the two of you galloped off, Midoriya was still there looking for him. And so, Bakugou and the others silently followed the two of you.
It seemed like Shoto had the same idea as what you thought of.
Both of you were heading under the willow tree. It was even more gorgeous at night. The leaves from the tree swayed amidst the chilly night breeze. And the full moon had just shone in the perfect amount to the point where it had given a fair amount of light in a spot.
The two of you stopped as Shoto unmounted his horse and parked him hidden.
You also unmounted but still tried to hide your messy self behind your horse. "You're a.. Prince?"
Shoto froze. He didn't want you to know, well, not at the moment rather.
"Yes.." He said honestly. He didn't want to lie in front of you.
Then it was your turn to freeze. After all this time... you were joking around and carelessly talking to the prince? Heck, you even called him by a nickname.
You flushed red in embarrassment as you bowed in a perfect 90 degree. "Oh gosh, you should've told me, I apologize Your Majesty for my rude behavior and I-"
"No no, don't bow." Shoto frantically moved to you and grabbed your hand making you raise your head up.
That was when you the two of you paused as soon as the both of your eyes locked to each other's.
You looked away in embarrassment as he leaned away. But both of your hands still held each others, not wanting to let go.
And so, he led you to sit down with him under the willow tree. The both of you sat down leaning against the tree.
You shared no words, and so did Shoto. But he boldly intertwined his fingers along yours which you respond by giving it a slightly tight clench.
You knew it was inappropriate and disrespectful to be this close with the prince unless the both of you are in a relationship, but you couldn't help but feel cold due to the lack of clothes you have.
As a result, you leaned against his broad shoulder.
You were embarrassed, yet Shoto reassured you since he moved his hand from yours to wrap around your shoulder and his other free hand to replace it, holding your hand now.
The both of you were red, but it didn't matter since the both of you felt comfortable.
It was as if the both of you were destined to be together. Were born for each other.
"What... happened?" Shoto carefully asked you. He waited a little while since he didn't want to pressure you.
"It's-"
"Don't say it's nothing Princess."
You chuckled. "Guess I can't run away from you any longer huh?"
"I'm asking you because I'm concerned as a friend. Not as Royalty." Shoto caressed the back of your palm with his thumb.
You blushed. "Still can't believe that I'm snuggling next to a prince right now. Hey by the way your real name is Shoto-"
"Yes my name is Shoto and don't you dare change the topic."
You sweat dropped. "Okay but it really is just a dumb plain of an excuse."
"I don't care. I simply want to know who or what made you cry."
You flushed red for a moment before answering, "It's just that... well where do I start... it's kind of long and complicated.."
"I can spare time. Besides, the ball lasts all night long."
"Then... I'll start when we received the invitation, I badly wanted to attend the ball, but my Stepmother would only let me if I'd finish my chores and if I'd find something to wear. I thought I wouldn't be able to finish my chores since they keep adding it up when I'm done with the original list.. but luckily, I was able to finish it."
Shoto gritted his teeth in anger but he kept his emotions calm, not until you haven't told him what made you cry. "Did you complain?" He asks.
You shook your head. "No. I was raised by my mother to understand everyone. That they have their own reason for each act they would do... Anyways, I was able to finish my list of chores but I haven't made time to recreate my dress. Luckily, I had help from my friends. And so the carriage came and my Stepfamily were downstairs, I followed as well. But... one way or another they teared my dress and left me.. well it wasn't that surprising since they really hated me." You explained chuckling sadly.
Shoto furrowed both of his brows together almost raising his voice when he opposed, "They shouldn't have done that to you."
"Like I said, it's alright. I've gotten used to their antics and all.. but-" You teared up as tears threatened to fall down. "Th-they should've at least considered my freedom from the m-mansion and everything.. Especially when they shouldn't have torn my mother's dress."
That was when Shoto's anger and annoyance went up to the roof. His blood boiled in seething anger. "Who are they? What did you ever do to them? When I'll see them I'll commence a trial for-"
"No no! It's ok... I forgive them.." You warmly smiled. "My mom told me that revenge is sweet, but forgiveness is sweeter."
He looked at you fondly. "How have they treated you?"
"Physical and verbal abuse along with harassment but it's fine.." You said playfully.
Shoto turned to look at the ground. Mumbling, "You don't deserve this.." Which was unfortunately loud enough for you to hear, making you blush of course.
He then suddenly stood and let you up as well dragging you to a plain area but still under the willow's tree while the moonlight had illuminated perfectly.
"Shoto?" You looked at him confusingly.
He let go of your hand then took a good enough distance from you before he lowered his head and his arm crossing his chest while the other is at his back, bowing then looking up to you. "May I have this dance Princess?"
