Maria POV

I was back at school,once again. The Yule Ball was tonight,and I was planning on going, just not with anyone. Although my step-mother wanted me to clean tonight,I was going to make it a priority to get to that Ball. If not for my sake,then for Draco and my friends. I made my way to Potions class where Draco and I worked together on a few different potions. The rest of the day went by rather quickly.

I was in the middle of cleaning up the room of Jenna and Lily,when my step-mother Cassidy July yelled into the room. "Maria!Maria!Maria!Maaaaaarrrriiiiiaaa!"She shouted,in the annoying voice she had. "Yes?"I shouted in reply to her. "Get your ass in here!"She shouted,along with her daughters Jenna and Lily.I jogged into the room where the three of them were standing. "Finally."Jenna and Lily remarked in unison,like always. "I need you to clean the entire July Manor,tonight. Jenna and Lily have the Ball tonight and I have a Party to go too,plus the girls birthday party is this weekend."snapped Cassidy. "Does it have to be tonight?"I questioned. "Yes."She snapped at me. "Why? We have tomorrow and the morning of their party."I replied,simply. "Shut up!"Jenna and Lily stated. "Sorry..."I muttered,and earned a glare from Cassidy. "Now,the girls will be leaving in an hour for the ball so you will start after you get them ready."Cassidy said to me before walking away. "Let's go,Maria!"The girls chanted,before leading me up the spiral staircase to their joint bedroom,that I was previously in.

After 45 minutes of torture doing the girls hair,makeup and the ironing of their dress,everything was finally done. Jenna and Lily stood in front of the mirror,turning around over and over again. Jenna was in a black long dress,and Lily was in a silver long dress. Their hair was in buns,Jenna high and Lily low. Their makeup was also done. I sighed softly,as I helped the two girls put on shoes and go downstairs.

The two girls felt shortly afterwards for the ball. I was in the midst of cleaning by now,when a knock was heard ringing off the door. I ran down the stairs and opened the door to reveal my best friends,Bianca Zabini and Pansy Parkinson. "What are you two doing here?"I asked the two of them. "We have your dress,and we need to finish getting ready so we can go to the ball."They both reply,in unison also. "I cannot go."I replied. "I must clean the entire house before the step-monster gets home,same with the girls."I finished. "Well,we figured out a way you can go."Pansy spoke up. Bianca nodded and passed me my dress. A few young men entered along with them,"This is my cousin,Jackson. They are The Witches Broom Cleaning Service." Bianca told me. "So...?"I asked her. "They will clean up the house while the three of us go party."She responded. "Really?"I asked the boys. They nodded,and entered with their supplies. "Now let's go get you ready." Bianca and Pansy stated. I smiled,"Let's do it!" They practically pulled me up the stairs. I raced into the bathroom,and got dressed. Then,I finished the hair,makeup and such as well. I came out of the bathroom,and the two girls applauded.

Ten minutes later,we had gotten back to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Bianca and Pansy helped me fix the last few touches before we entered. "One last thing."They told me. "Wear this."They finished and passed me a Slytherin colored mask. I pulled it on,and was ready to do. Bianca and Pansy entered the ball,before I did and waited.

I took a deep breath before entering the ballroom,and descending the staircase. Everyone,boys and girls from every house,stared at me as I watched in. It was a bit nerve racking at first,but it got better as I went on. I finished descending the staircase,and walked around the ball with Pansy and Bianca. "Now,you have to impress Draco."Pansy whispered into my ear. "I don't know about that."I replied,looking around. "That's an order."Bianca retorted,happily. They walked me over to the famous Draco Malfoy,and shoved me towards him. "Oh...hello."Draco said. "Hello."I replied,adjusting my mask slightly. "Care to dance?"He asked me. "I'd like that."I answered,disguising my voice a little bit. Draco offered me his hand,and I took it. Bianca and Pansy watched from off to the side,along with Jenna and Lily who were obviously there.

He took my hand gently,and we started to dance along to the beautiful music that was playing. We danced for a long time,without stopping. Halfway through the night,Pansy and Bianca tapped my shoulder. "We must go. It's midnight."They told me. "I'm sorry,I must go."I quickly and quietly told Draco. "Please don't go..."He exclaimed while I started to walk away. "I don't even know your name."He said,as I ran out of the Ball along with my two best friends. I dropped one of my shoes while leaving. I didn't do anything about it,I had to leave.

Draco examined the shoe,and we all three left...
