25: Grand Finale
Cinderella's POV
I wore a wedding dress with a blue tinge, and my sister wore a similar one with a pink tinge. Today, we were getting married to our lovers/fiancé whatever you want to call it.
I was as calm as can be, but my sister was pacing nervously, wearing herself out.
"Annie," I sighed, using her nickname. "Come over here." She obeyed, her cute nervousness look on her worried face.
"What if I fall? What if I trip? Oh no...what if I embarrass myself or Edward?!" She panicked. I rolled my eyes and gave her a warm hug. She calmed down a little, but showed no signs of completely calming down.
"Okay first, Annie, for the love of sweets, please just calm down. Second, we are not going out there to embarrass ourselves. Listen to me," I cupped her face in my hands. "We are here today to show other girls that those princes belong to us. Not them. We are going to declare our undying love to them. Also, the priest is going to direct everything, so don't worry a both messing it up. If you do mess up, I'll shove Edward's face into the cake later to make you feel better.
Anastasia's face tried to stay clam, but soon, she couldn't help laughing at my last statement. Her shoulders relaxed, and her face was full of joy again. "Thanks, Cindy. I needed that."
"Good. After all, the only food can make you smile and laugh is cake. Onions make you cry, but coconuts can make you cry harder if thrown in the face," I responded, my voice completely calm.
Anastasia giggled, and a knock on our door interrupted us. We smiled at each other when the king and our brother came in, both ready to escort us. Charles would walk me down the aisle, and King Richard would walk Anastasia.
Time skip
"You may kiss the bride." Without delay, my prince kissed me sweetly on the lips. I shut my eyes and let myself melt in his embrace. I would happily live the rest of my life with him.
We didn't even pay attention to the cheers from the crowd when we broke apart, and turned to see Edward holding close a panting Anastasia. I laughed lightly and pulled my sister into a hug, and the brothers shook each other hands.
"See? I told you everything was going to be okay," I whispered to my sister who smiled. "And after all those dance lessons and fancy parties, I don't think you can possibly mess up. So go dance with your groom."
"Thank you, Cindy. For everything!" Anastasia said to me, a single tear running down her face in joy. I swiped the tear away and smiled as Edward took her to the dance floor.
"Now then..." I turned around to see Arthur holding out a hand to me.
"Care for a dance, my bride?" He asked me in a gentlemanly fashion.
"But of course, my handsome prince," I responded cheekily, letting him lead me to the dance floor.
"A toast to Prince Arthur and his beautiful bride!" Someone yelled. Cheers erupted like a volcano from the audience. Arthur leaned forward and kissed me again.
"And a toast Prince Edward and his precious bride!" Another person yelled. Screams came from every corner of the room, and I couldn't help but laugh and smile as Edward kissed my sister in a very gentle and touching manner.
And this is the end of my Cinderella story.
