-Fennel's POV-

Ivory and I followed the trail all the way back to camp and I frantically searched for Cinder.

I saw her sitting on a log with Luna dabbing something off her shoulder. As I started walking towards her I remembered Ivory.

"Hey.... Silly horse..... Come here." I said lovingly and led him to a tree, then loosely tied him to it. After I fed him a carrot and pet him a bit I turned to go to Cinder.

-Cinder's POV-

"Ow." Luna was trying to clean up my shoulder. Key word "trying".

"Well, sorry. If you stop moving it would hurt a lot less," she replied.

I gave her an unamused look then looked up to see Fennel. She looked really worried.

I winced as I stood and Luna made an annoyed sound.

"Fennel...."

"Cinder!" She ran to me and hugged me.

I grunted but I didn't stop her, I hugged her back. I had never been so happy to see her, maybe Alloy had gotten her, "I'm so happy to see you! I didn't know if you were okay or not!"

"Of corse I am!" She sounded relieved, " But you're not.... What happened?"

Luna came up to us as we pulled apart, "apparently she fell."

"On what?" She replied.

Luna crossed her arms, "That's what I asked!"

I smiled, "That doesn't matter. What matters it that we're all okay....."

They smiled too and we hugged.

It seemed like the world would always be okay. Things change though. They only went downhill from there.....
