Kim Namjoon is a nice guy. Really.

Jimin believes this no matter what. Namjoon is his friend. Namjoon has never hurt him before now.

It was just a kiss, but to Jimin it was everything. They went out, slept together, but something just wasn't right. Jimin was unsure of what, but he knew that something was off.

Jimin had introduced Namjoon to his family as his boyfriend,

Yet now Namjoon introduces Jimin to his family as his friend.

It hurts him.

But Jimin doesn't say anything. It was an accident, he decides.

When Namjoon takes him to dinner one night, Jimin tells Namjoon he loves him.

Namjoon doesn't say it back.

Jimin's heart cracks.

"I never wanted to hurt you, Jimin," Namjoon says sadly after dinner, and Jimin knows what's coming but he hopes for the best. "You're my friend. We did many things together. And I think that's all it was- just a thing. We're just friends. I don't think us being more would work out."

Jimin leaves early, alone. He cries himself to sleep. His heart aches so much.

When he sees Namjoon the very next day, smiling like nothing happened at all, it hurts. But deep down, Jimin knows that even if Namjoon doesn't feel the same, a part of Jimin's heart will always belong to Namjoon.

He forgives him, even though it hurts.

Jimin loves too much.
